Hero's Bridge:

Bell, Amid, and Lili made their way through the bustling streets of Orario, the city alive with the energy of adventurers and merchants alike. The cobblestone paths echoed with their footsteps as they navigated the winding alleys, passing by colorful market stalls overflowing with exotic fruits and glittering trinkets from the Dungeon's upper floors. The clouds overhead looked like they would open up any minute.

The air was thick with the scents of spices and freshly baked bread, punctuated by the occasional whiff of polished leather and newly forged steel from the nearby armories. Lili's eyes darted from side to side, always alert for potential threats or valuable information, while Amid's examined herbs in the stalls they passed.

As they approached Hero's Bridge, the city's noise gave way to the steady roar of the river below. The bridge loomed before them, its weathered stone flanked by towering statues of both well known and long forgotten heroes, their faces watching over the current generation.

The stone statutes loomed before them, their weathered surface telling tales of countless battles and triumphs. Towering statues of long-forgotten heroes flanked the entrance, their unseeing eyes keeping eternal watch over the city. Just as the group was about to step onto the bridge.

BOOM.

The explosion that rocked Hero's Bridge was powerful enough to send adventurers flying. Amid and Lili, who were walking with Bell, managed to cling on to him for dear life as they were propelled backwards by the force of the blast.

"Are you both, okay?" Bell frantically asked as he helped them up from the ground. Amid nodded while Lili winced in pain as she tried to place wait upon one of her legs.

"I think my ankle might be sprained," she said with a pained expression.

Bell quickly pulled out his healing potion and gave it to her. "This should help with the pain," he said, concern etched on his face as he watched her drink it.

Meanwhile, other adventurers had rushed to the scene of the explosion. They were met with a chaotic scene; debris everywhere, injured adventurers crying out for help, and Evilus members descending on the bridge.

"AMID Healing Now." Bell orders as he dove into the fray.

A clash of ensued as the Adventurers and Evilus collided. Amid began her chant:

Healing droplets, tears of light, eternal sanctuary. Compose a medicinal hymn-three hundred, sixty, and five.

"KILL THE rotten Adventurers! HAHAHAHA" called a man with long white hair wearing white battle outfit and a white skull mask.

"tsk. Olivas Act." Bell muttered as he continued to weave between Evilus and began slashing them with his spare daggers. Bell moved from one target to the next focusing solely on softening the Evilus members up for the others.

The melody of the healer's almanac saves all things. Come, destruction of evil. The burial of wounds, interment of disease.

The clash of weapons echoed through the air as the adventurers battled against the fervor of the Evilus members. The ground was soon splattered with pools of blood as injured piled up and wounded were dragged back from the front to be healed.

Curses be gone in the light of vitality. In the name of all that is holy - I heal you

As Amid finished her chant, a brilliant white magic circle emerged and solidified, enveloping the wounded adventurers in its healing embrace. The wounds on their bodies began to close immediately, and their energy was revitalized. The adventurers cheered with renewed strength, while curses echoed from the Evilus members.

"EVILUS! Prove your devotion to our cause by killing that little healer and you will be greatly rewarded!" Olivas bellowed

A roar of approval surged through the Evilus members as they charged towards Amid, who momentarily froze at the sudden assault.

"ADVENTURERS! Defend the little healer! Push them back! Charge! RARRRRRRRR!" It was a large and burly man, adorned with a wine chalice surrounded by grapevines and leaves emblem, lead the charge.

"RARRRRRRRR!"

The adventurers roared and clashed once again with the Evilus. However, this time with Amid's healing magic bolstering their strength, they began to gain the upper hand against their enemy. The sound of swords clashing and battle cries filled the air as both sides fought for victory.

As Bell finally drew his sword, the metallic clang echoed through the air. He pushed himself to the front lines of the adventurers, determined to engage the members of Evilus. But amidst the chaos of battle, he suddenly heard a familiar voice cry out; "Ahh."

Whipping around, Bell saw that Aki had been behind him and was now lying on the ground, knocked off her feet by an enemy's attack.

"DIE ADVENTURER!" The Evilus member screamed, their face contorting with malice.

Without hesitation, Bell's sword arced through the air and bit deep into the Evilus member's back. A grunt escaped their lips as they fell to the ground.

"Aki, are you all right?" Bell asked as he extended his hand towards her.

"BELL! Thank you," Aki exclaimed, gratefully taking his hand, and rising to her feet. Her tail began to swish back and forth happily.

"Aki, stay close to me. We will get through this together. I am really sorry about everything that happened this morning" Bell reassured her with a smile and he gave her hand squeeze.

"Got it!" Aki said as she squeezed Bell's hand back before they both let go and charged the ranks of Evilus together.

This fact did not go unnoticed by Raul, another member of the Loki familia who had just finished fending off a different attacker from Evilus.

The group of adventurers fought valiantly to push back the Evilus members from the bridge, but as they moved forward, a few remaining enemies began to throw explosive devices at them. Olivas gave a sharp nod to signal one last member of Evilus who charged forward towards a young girl with raven black hair, her back turned towards the side and facing away from the new threat.

"For my god!" The Evilus member cried out as he lunged at the girl with his weapon.

"FLIVIS!" A man called from midway across the bridge.

"Look out!" Bell yelled, quickly pushing the raven-haired girl out of harm's way but accidentally knocked her down. He intercepted the attack with his sword, thrusting it into the chest of the Evilus member and sending him tumbling backwards to the ground.

As Bell turned around to check on the girl he had just pushed aside, he found himself face to face with another pair of crimson red eyes framed by raven black hair and a set of elven ears.

"I am terribly sorry for earlier," Bell apologized, bowing his head respectfully. "I know that elves do not like to be touched. I did it only to ensure your safety and had no ulterior motives."

As she prepared to respond, Flivis was suddenly tackled by a group of adventurers.

"Flivis, are you alright?" A female elven adventurer frantically searched her for any wounds.

"They didn't get you anywhere, did they?" A tall, burly adventurer rushed over to check on her.

"I'm fine, Lofina, Burquess. This human here helped me" Flivis reassured them as she gestured to Bell, who stood up straighter.

"Thank you for helping my younger sister. I am Lofina, Vice-Captain of the Dionysus Familia." The female elf introduced herself as she continued to check Flivus for any sign of injury.

"I appreciate your help. I am Captain Burquess of the Dionysus Familia," the other adventurer introduced himself, extending a hand towards Bell. Bell graciously took his hand and responded with his own introduction.

"It's a pleasure to meet you both. I am Captain Bell Cranel of the Erebus Familia." Bell responded

WHEEZE. WHEEZE.

Before they can continue their conversation, a loud wheezing noise interrupts them. The adventurers quickly turn around to see the fallen Evilus member that Bell had just defeated.

"Bell Cranel, just the man I was looking for, I have a message from my Goddess." The member struggled to speak through gasping breaths.

"What message?" Bell demanded as his eyes narrowed.

"Better run along little rabbit. Your precious Doll Princess is about to become monster food. Hehehehe."The Evilus member grinned wickedly before passing out.

"Who is that, Doll Princess?" Bell inquired

"Are you familiar with Ais Wallenstein?" Burquess asked

"I know of her but she's only a level one adventurer, how does she already have a second name?" Bell questioned as his palms started to sweat.

"Doll princess is a nickname given to her by other adventurers. It's not official," Burquess explained, looking down at the ground.

"Why do they call her the Doll Princess?" Bell responded

"Tch, it's just something people started calling her. Since see always seems to be so focused on killing monsters when people see her. Never shows any emotions, just keeps fighting. Such a shame to label someone so cute with such a dreadful moniker. I caught a glimpse of her once, she'll grow up to be stunningly beautiful," Lofina commented as she released Flivis from her grip.

"I should be going now. See you all later. Lili guard Amid. Amid stay here and help the wounded." Bell stated before turning and running towards the Dungeon.

After Bell had left, the remaining adventurers secured the scene, inspected the bridge, and tended to the injured. As they proceeded along with their task a great rumble was felt beneath their feet causing them all to freeze in place. After the rumbling subsided Burquess was the first to speak:

"I didn't expect someone related to Zeus and Hera to care about a member of Loki Familia," he remarked.

"Why is that?" Flivis asked, looking up at him with interest.

"Well..." Burquess began, but was quickly interrupted.

"There's no need for you to worry about that, Flivis. You're too young to hear this kind of story," Lofina cut in sharply, shooting Burquess a threatening glare that practically promised violence.

Burquess raised his hands in surrender as a shiver ran down his spine.

"Could you tell us what happened then?" Amid asked, having just finished healing the wounded on the bridge. She stood by Lili, who acted as her guard.

"I'm sorry, Ms. It's really not my place to say. If you really want to know more, you should ask Predator or Silence. Or your Captain." Burquess responded

"I see. Thank you for your protection during the fight. If there are no other wounded, I must go. There may be more attacks like this one," Amid said

"No need. I need you to come with me, Amid and Lili," Alfia said suddenly, appeared behind them and caused everyone to jump and reach for their weapons before they realized who it was.

"Where are we going?" Amid started to ask before being swiftly picked up and carried away by Alfia, with Lili in tow. The rest of the adventurers watched them go in surprise and confusion but they would later swear that they heard a terrified scream and an unearthly wail.
