Third Spark:

Amiko just stared at the Transformation Rod in her hand without much at the sight. Hiding the item from her parents was a tad easy since they were rarely home. When they were actually present, they barely paid attention to her. Showing them what she held now was deemed a waste in her eyes as she sighed.

"Cat got your tongue?" A familiar voice asked her, "We have to stop meeting like this."

"Hi Kai." She smiled.

She ended up moving over to make room for him to join her since the bus was less crowded than usual. Being that the two of them were heading to the same after-school cram school. Just how they ended up on the bus at the same time was odd for them. Neither one made plans to go together and got on the bus at two diff times times.

"Ever got around to telling anyone in your family?" Kai thought to ask.

"I told my brother," Amiko informed him, "Hiddenite pat me on my head and wished me luck."

"Shows he cares." Kai pointed out.

Smile that spread across Amiko's face when she pocketed her Transformation Rod then put it in her school bag. Left her to lean to the side until her head rested on Kai's shoulder. Not caring about putting her glasses on or people watching them.

"Comfortable?" He asked how she was relaxing.

"I am just glad you're here." She adminited.

He ended up pulling a book from his school bag and started to read to pass the time for them her to read when he lowered the boom to her viewing level. Which she accepted without needing to move around to fetch the book she was reading.

"Why are you going to cram school melange for humans?" Amiko always wondered, "Since you already seem well versed."

"To learn is to experience," He quoted, "Reading can get someone so far, but I rather live it."

Amiko went quiet after that trying to figure out what best to help future learn about earth. Places from restaurants and theme parks that she had never been locally started to form in her head. Made her think about what Kai's preferences were in such places.

"You're too quiet." He noticed.

"Date ideas." She averted her head.

Kai went wide eyed at her answer she gave him that put a smile on his face when he flipped a page. Not getting to the second paragraph when down he put his book. Recalling a few vending machines in the neighborhood he usually gets late night meals from.

"I know a few 7-11 and vending machines with decent food," He informed her, "Maybe we can visit a 24 hour manga or Internet cafe for leisure when you don't want to go home."

When he saw the back of her neck turn red from when she didn't reply or say a thing to him. Left him to return to his book for the rest of their ride as Amiko fought her nervousness. Quietness stayed with them when off the bus the two stepped from the back entrance. Amiko still would look at Kai while she stood right next to him. Her school bag held out in front of her person with her folded hands before her.

"Leading the way?" He asked her.

"…" She blushed again.

He smiled when he noticed the way she moved her eyes to look at him before she looked away. Left him to pick up the unspoken words and awaits her to start walking past him. Which she did after she awaited for him to follow her with a slight pause.

Kai looked at the board that announced scores from the latest practice tests everyone took. He wasn't amazed at the fact he and Amiko came in second with the highest marks. Just his mood soured when he heard Amiko's voice trying to reject someone. He went toward the direction he heard her voice and someone else with such arrogance. Was a few feet from the announcement board Kai just visited. Where Amiko was found pinned into a corner handing her ground with schoolbag held between them

"Ever heard of backing off?" Kai asked this nameless jerk, "She isn't interested."

"You her spokesman?" This nameless person asked Kai.

"A close friend that knows her way better than you," Kai notice the person's aura darkening, "Your not making this easy … "

"Not like your being here is helping … " This nameless person turned Kai

He further made his point when this nameless person pulled away from Amiko and charged him. Left Kai to the side step while leaving enough room for the person to trip. Which left them slipping across the floor until they fell face first into a plant.

"You didn't have to be that harsh." Amiko advises Kai.

"First Born Son," Kai guessed who it was, "He doesn't take no for an answer since he sees the world as his."

"Oh dear." Amiko didn't like the sound of Kai's answer.

"He must have staked claim to you after seeing exam results," Kai explained, "He's a tad possessive."

"I really don't like that." Amiko was disliking the spirit already.

Watching body stand back up like nothing happened scared her as those blank eyes looked at her. Reminded her that she wasn't the helpless girl she was a few weeks ago. Who would have ducked her head and run from this spirit to avoid confrontation with him. Kai didn't have to explain any further how Amiko viewed by this spirit. Who must have thought with her intelligence would make her a perfect girlfriend, or vessel for him.

"You run," Kai whispered to her, "I'll handle him."

"I would rather not leave you alone with him," She tightened her grip on her school bag, "I do not trust the likes of him around you."

"You know," He was confused, "I can handle myself?"

" … with your history and what you said about him possessive … " She pointed out to him.

Kai went quiet when he was made to think about what she said with his eyes watching the spirit. Who now took on a standing position with his back hunched as he stared. One corner of his widening grin started to openly twitch upward when he stood in place.

"How are we to handle this?" She asked, looking at his tie clip.

One of the rare memories she had of her mother was home invoked by her being lectured. Out came her mother's Crystal Change Rod from a wooden box kept hidden. Where she was told some day she would earn one of her own when time came. Until then, she was to work hard in her academic life as well as her personal one. Which she did as she grew secretly disappointed toward her mother. Out of her life her parents fell with her brother becoming more active in the role.

"Not like he's putting up much of a fight." She pointed out.

Kai acted quickly to pull her out of the way when he saw a potted plant get picked up and thrown. Just ended up not hitting the intended target since where she stood changed.

"Really?" Kai reached up to his tie clip.

"Mine." First Born Son shrieks.

Before he could lay a single finger of his own on his tie clip alone to transform into Knight Froze. Amiko would hold of that hand as she pulled her Transformation Rod out.

"Together?" She suggested.

"Do you know what to say?" He asked.

"After hearing Mina and Makoi talk about their awakenings," She knew what to do, "I have figured things out."

"Repeat these words," Her fairy friend told her, "Mercury Power, Make Up."

Amiko, not waiting a second more, took hold of that Transformation Rod and yelled those words. Allowing a standard uniform consists of a white, chest-armored leotard, a blue sailor collar with three white stripes, a blue choker, a blue skirt with a white puffy belt sat above it, and light blue bows at the chest and at the back. She wears a pair of blue short heeled knee-high boots with white triangular borders, white gloves with three blue arm fittings at the ends that reach just below her elbows, and an ice crystal at the center of her chest bow. Unlike the rest of the Solar System Senshi, her uniform was sleeveless, giving off the illusion of a swimsuit which is supposed to be reminiscent of Mercury's power over water. A golden tiara with a blue, ice crystal is located on her forehead, and for earrings, she has three ice crystals on either ear.

"Welcome new Soldier of Knowledge." She heard a whisper addressed to her.

Before could ask who called her that, Knight Frost soon stood beside her with her eyes falling to his chain.

"What does that book do?" She was quite interested.

Down the chain he gloved fingers traced the links until they came upon the spine of his book. Thinking that his newest newest attacks spells such as superionic ice or black verglas.

Kai ended up taking Amiko to a vending machine restaurant where little human interaction was found. Which amazed her when she saw the variety of food they had at this hour. Out came her coin purse to pay for their meals when Kai knew what he was getting.

"Take the tickets to open the window over there," Kai pointed out, "We get table assignment and utensils."

"Convenient." She was impressed.

He left her to do all that by herself when he had met an uncle outside to hand off the dusted spirit. One who arrived in rust bucket of a car rolled down his passenger side window.

"Not using your wind today?" Kai asked him.

"Promise Benny to keep a low profile," He answered him, "You guys are pretty popular."

Kai didn't have to be reminded of how he and his brothers were sweeping across Japan as elemental knights. Edited footage from them from security videos littered social media and art platforms. Memes alone had him to laugh at how they were used.

"Others know?" Kai was asked.

"Cipher is taking advantage with boyfriend, a special knight in shining armor image," Kai recalled, "Dann and Angel don't care anyway."

"Benny and his pals have all kinds of jokes," He pointed out, "I still out drink them."

"Is this fling going anywhere?" Kai asked, "Sex can only go so far."

"He has something about applying for an apartment outside the dormitory." He recalled Ben talking about it once.

"On or off the palace grounds?" Kai figured.

He knew the Crystal Senitals were a private military force that worked under King Endymion's Shitennou. Lived in a Dormitory after going through a series of selection to join. Were given a living allowance beside what they get paid with the activity center. They upgrade their living arrangements if they relocate their family.

"So you're getting serious?" Kai asked.

"He has me wanting a kid." He lifted up adoption pamphlets.

Kai would say his goodbyes when the window went uo and his uncle drove away with the veil. Leaving him to think out how he was going to break news to everyone else. That was dismissed when Amiko ended up calling to him from the doorway. Asking him what that conversation was about and how he was visiting.
