Well, so if you cannot guess this is going to be part three of the whole first contact war, in terms of how long the first contact war will last, well, I'm thinking around five to six chapters, something like that, depending on how long i want them to be of course.
In any case I hope you all enjoy this and let's just get down to business.

"Get down, Dammit!" Varfen would bark out to a group of Turian soldiers who would only barely manage to avoid getting cut down by gunfire from their Human adversaries at the opposite side of the courtyard.
With that crisis averted, Varfen would quickly turn around from one side to another in order to see what in the name of the spirits was going on.
His forces were doing well in keeping Humans out of the central spaceport, 'albeit at heavy cost', Varfen thought to himself as he looked at a pile of corpses lazily tossed against the side of a wall.
"Sir." One of his soldiers, a man named Vateron, if Varfen remembered correctly, would say as Varfen would reply.
"Speak Soldier, we don't have much time till they launch a new push against our defences." Varfen would say curtly, his eyes constantly keeping vigil at the other side of the courtyard, where there Human attackers were clearly gathering for another push to the Space Elevator.
"Admiral Orvaka's authorised for the deployment of more troops down to the surface as well as the utilisation of orbital fire support." Vateron would finish as Varfen would nod his head before saying.
"It's about damn time Orvaka sent us some support." Varfen said out loud before continuing "Soldier, I need you to check in with Corporal Vellisk and her Cabal Brothers and Sisters, and ask if they are ready to return to the fight." Varfen would say as Vateron would salute the Centurion before saying.
"Yes, sir, I'll do that right away." the young private would bark out before hurriedly making his way towards the Tent that Vellisk was currently recuperating in.
"You think will be able to hold out?" Magnus would ask Varfen as the Turian would nod before saying.
"Yes, I think we will, believe me, it'll be tough fighting for the next hour or two but they've got to be as exhausted as we are, and I doubt they're getting reinforced all that much, if at all." Varfen would say before continuing.
"Not to mention they've taken a lot more casualties than we have, and we are in an easily defensible position to boot." Varfen would finish as Magnus would shake his head before replying.
"And yet all of our advantages didn't prevent us from losing the outer wall." Magnus would say sombrely, dragging Varfen thoughts back to the events that had taken place only a few hours ago.
'Magnus is right, to a certain extent at least' Varfen thought to himself, despite the advantages they had the Humans still managed to force them off the outer walls, of course the fact that the Human's heavily outnumbered them didn't help one bit, but it wasn't just there numbers that had been the major factor in the Human's success so far, but there utilisation of drones and there sheer determination that had allowed them to press forward, even after suffering horrific loses, something that Varfen felt was, admirable.
Of course, he doubted the Humans would have made it this far if it wasn't for Orvaka's refusal to allow for reinforcements to be deployed to the Starport.
'Spirits, i hope Orvaka dies a most painful death, the bastard' Varfen thought to himself as he turned to reply to Magnus saying.
"I know, but at least we don't have Orvaka screwing with us now, so there's that at least." Varfen would say as Magnus would nod his head in agreement.
"I guess there's that, but still, I do have a feeling that by the time reinforcements get here it'll be…" Magnus would say before being interrupted by the sound of a Plasma cutter working at the door to a utility room right next to the sandbags they were taking cover behind.
"OH SHIT, EVERYONE THERE TRYING TO…" Varfen would shout out before being interrupted by the sound of a shotgun blast straight at him.
While the blast would directly impact him, it would do little damage to his person, as his armour's kinetic barrier would absorb most of the impact.
Both Him and Magnus would retreat behind a series of metal boxes as several Humans would emerge from the utility room, spraying death at anything near them.
While the Humans in and off themselves wouldn't have been that dangerous, the fact that they had emerged directly on the frontline meant that if their comrades across the courtyard were to charge across the courtyard, that could seriously compromise the defences the Turians had erected.
"I thought you said you had locked off all other entrances?" Varnus would say, peeking out from behind cover to spray death at a shotgun wielding Human, only for his bullets to be intercepted by one of the Humans wielding a Ballistic shield with four letters painted on the front of it.
"Well, we've only been here for a less than a day, and this place is massive, not to mention most of the manpower i would of dedicated to making sure the starport was about as secure as an Asari maiden on a ship full of youths was instead re-allocated to establish FOB's on this shithole of a rock!" Magnus would shout out over the top of his lungs as he managed to score a hit on a Human who hadn't taken cover behind one of there Ballistic shields, killing said human instantly.
Grumbling to himself and to the incompetence of his commanding officer, Varfen would Bark out an order over his comm bead.
"ALL UNITS, DO WHATEVER YOU CAN TO PUSH THE HUMANS OUT OF OUR FRONTLINE, WE CANNOT LET THEM CONSOLIDATE OR GIVE TIME FOR THEIR FRIENDS TO GET ACROSS THE COURTYARD!" and, as almost responding to Varfen's suggestion, one of the Humans would pull out a flare gun before firing it into the air, clearly signalling for the other Humans on their side of the Courtyard to begin their advance.
"Shit." Varfen would say as Turian troops around him tried their best to force the Humans to retreat to little avail, the Ballistic shields and the disciplined volleys of the Humans largely forcing his troops to take cover and nullifying any damage their bullets may have had.
Varfen's stomach would drop as he would see the Human troops across the courtyard advance across the courtyard, protected from molestation by the wall of shields.
"By the spirits, where are the cabals when you need them?" Varfen would swear under his breath as a familiar voice would sound out from his comm bead.
"Right here." The familiar voice of Vellisk would say as several singularities would manifest within the ranks of the Humans, allowing for Varfen's troops to make quick work of the now unprotected and defenceless Humans.
"Alright everyone, back to firing positions now, they'll be upon us very soon." Varfen would say over the comms as his troops rushed back to their positions, Varfen would thank the spirits of his home world as he realised that the vast majority of the Human troops (who were notably less well equipped than their counterparts that had attacked through the utility building.) were still in the Center of the courtyard.
"FIRE AT WILL, DON'T LET ANY OF THEM REACH OUR POSITIONS!" Varnus would bark out over the commbead, his orders being followed almost immediately as the roar of heavy weapons fire would almost be drowned out by the moans of the dying as a large portion of the attacking would be mowed down in seconds.
However despite their losses, the Humans would rapidly recover, with the remaining survivors taking cover behind anything that might look sturdy enough to hold off the incoming fire, while those who had smoke grenades would throw them wherever they could, with the courtyard soon being covered in a thick layer of smoke only a couple of seconds later.
"Keep up the fire, even if you can't see the enemy doesn't mean they aren't there." Varnus would say over his comm bean as he looked over the courtyard with his thermal binoculars.
To say that the entire area was a carnage filled death pit would be somewhat of an understatement, But Varnus could see that the assault force coming from the courtyard had been broken, with the few survivors limping back to their lines.
"Do you reckon we can move in and push them out?" Vellisk would ask as Varfen would perform the Turian equivalent of a shrug before saying.
"Possible, though…" Before Varfen could continue he would be interrupted as Oraka's voice would boom out from his comm bead, saying in a rather panicked tone.
"By the spirits there everywhere, spirits, sir, the… the Humans, there about to overrun our positions in the Maglev terminal, we need immediate support, now…" Oraka's voice would cut out suddenly.
"That doesn't sound good." Vellisk would say as Magnus would respond mirthfully, saying.
"That is probably an understatement of the year, Vellisk." Varfen would nod his head in agreement before turning to face Vellisk and saying.
"Vellisk, I need you and your Cabal to go down and reinforce Lieutenant Oraka's position." Varfen would say as Vellisk would nod before saying.
"I take it you'll be cleaning up house or...? Vellisk would stop as the gates to the Space Elevator would open, revealing several contingents of Turian troops, several Hover Tanks, and more than 30 APC's, seeming to answer Vellisk's question.
"Well, with these new reinforcements, absolutely." Varfen would say as Vellisk would nod before Her and her cabal members would rush off towards the elevator that led down to the Maglev Terminal.
"Sir." a young Turian Lieutenant would say before Saluting both Varfen and Magnus.
"I take your the Lt to this Platoon?" Varfen would ask as the Turian would nod.
"Yes sir, 58th platoon at your service." The Turian Lieutenant would say as Varfen would nod before responding.
"Is your unit ready for combat, Lt?" Varfen would ask as the Lieutenant would reply.
"Yes sir it is." The Lieutenant would finish quickly as Varfen would nod before responding.
"Good, because I need your troops help to mop up any remaining Human forces in the outer areas of the Starport as well as the Outer Walls." Varfen would finish as the Lieutenant would nod before responding.
"Got it sir." The young Turian would say again as Varfen would nod before saying.
"Good, and so i don't have to keep referring to you by your rank over comms, what is your name?" Varfen would ask as the Turian Lieutenant would respond instantly.
"Lieutenant Nyrax Sir." Nyrax would think before asking. "Sir, i'm hearing over comms that the enemy is still within the tunnels below the Starport, are you sure you don't want me to send some men to help out?" Nyrax would ask as Varfen would shake his head before responding.
"No, that's being attended to by someone I trust will get the job done, for now I just want you to focus your attention on clearing out human resistance in the outer areas of the Starport." Varfen would finish as Nyrax would nod his head in understanding.
"Good." Varfen would say before continuing "You are dismissed, Lieutenant, notify me when your task is done." Nyrax would nod his head in understanding before turning back around to face a number of his own corporals.
As Nyrax reinforcements crossed the courtyard Varfen would sigh to himself, the adrenaline of the past few hours of fighting wearing off as suddenly as grass of skin, leaving the Centurion utterly tired.
Yet Varfen wouldn't let exhaustion consume him yet, for one he still had to see on the defence of the Starport, and, more importantly at this point, had to begin gathering evidence and collating reports upon Orvaka's incompetency and general unfitness for command.
'A Centurion's duty is never done' Varfen sighed to himself as he wandered back to the same Red Crate that Orvaka had dressed him and Magnus down in, while it wasn't perfect it would be adequate enough for the tasks he would have to accomplish.

"So half of the Irregulars were wiped out?" Williams would ask, a sombre look on his face as Becker would reply saying.
"Not exactly, there's a good chance the Cutt– Turians, whatever we are fighting, may have taken some of them captive, others may reappear overtime." Becker would say, clearly trying to make Williams mood slightly better as the General would respond saying.
"I don't need you to sugar coat facts for me Becker, just give me god's honest truth damn it!" Williams would shout out at Becker catching the Colonel by surprise, though to Becker's credit, the man wouldn't react all that much just simply saying.
"The Starport attack was costly, though it went better than we expected." Becker would say as Williams would perk up slightly replying.
"Explain." Williams would ask plainly as Becker would respond.
"Well the Irregular forces managed to make it past the outer wall and even managed to push the Turians all the way back to the Courtyard and the Space Elevator Terminal, however the Turians managed to fend off three consecutive assaults from the Irregulars, with the Infiltration unit being decimated when they deployed a unit of Biotic commandos." Becker would finish as Williams would nod his head in understanding before replying.
"Well, it went better than I feared, though certainly worse than I hoped." Williams would largely say to himself before continuing.
"Do we know the status of the unit we sent to infiltrate down through the Maglev Tunnels underneath the Starport?" Williams would ask as Becker would nod before saying.
"Yes, from the sound of things they had much more luck than the surface teams, apparently they were close to reaching the elevators that would take them to the surface but…" Williams would finish Becker's statement saying.
"But since the ground teams are retreating there is nothing preventing the Turians from just simply pouring in reinforcements into the Maglev Terminal, isn't there?" Williams would ask as Becker would nod his head.
"Well there's no point in wasting any more lives is there, have the Tunnel team retreat, there's no point in continuing the assault on the Starport." Williams would say as Becker would nod his head in agreement before saying.
"I'll have that done right away sir." Becker would say before continuing.
"Also, I have an intelligence report compiled from the Interrogation of the Turian Named Baerska, I take it you like me to give you a general rundown of it or would you prefer to read it in your own time?" Becker would ask as Williams expression would change into that of a more intriguing one.
"I'd rather hear it from you in all due honesty." Williams would ask as Becker would nod his head before saying.
"Well, from what was provided by Baerska and the records from this supposed "Galactic Codex" recovered from his omni tools, the Turians are a part of a wider organization known as the Citadel Council, basically the Turians, and more particularly the Turian Hierarchy, acts as the muscle behind the Council's operations, while two other species, the Asari and the Salarians, act as the Main Diplomats and Scientists of this Council respectively, while there are other races that are within the Council they have little to no political power within the Council as a whole, there are also numerous species outside of the Councils control such as the Quarians but for the sake of simplicity i will not mention them." Becker would say as Williams would nod his head in understanding before replying.
"Do we know why these Turians attacked us then, like the reports we got back from the Somme didn't exactly suggest they provoked them in any way?" Williams would ask as Becker would nod his head before replying.
"Officially it was because we broke the Citadels laws on activating unopened relays without their permission." Becker would say as a vicious frown would develop across his forehead as Becker would continue.
"Though unofficially, and something believed by our captive, is that the actual reason for the Turians attacking us was due to the fact that there Admiral, a Turian named Orvaka, wanted to restore his prestige within the Hierarchy, and largely viewed that attacking and conquering this world as the best way to go about it." Becker would finish as Williams would sigh to himself.
"So basically we are dealing with a rogue element, is what you're saying?" Williams would say as Becker would shrug before replying.
"Potentially, though it could also be that the Turian is, well, coping, basically, and that this isn't some admiral's ploy to rise up the ranks of the Hierarchy." Becker would finish as Williams would nod his head before saying.
"Either way, these reports need to be sent back to Arcturus so at least the wider Alliance knows and the politicians can figure out what to do with it." Becker would nod his head in agreement before saying.
"I agree, and hence I'm requesting permission to leave to carry out my tasks, sir." Becker would say, causing Williams to laugh slightly before responding.
"You don't need permission to do your job Becker, just get it done alright, dismissed." Williams would say as Becker would nod before leaving Williams "Office".

Location: Primitive Spaceport Number 2, Underground Maglev Goods Transit Hub.
"Wait there retreating?" Vellisk heard one of her comrades say out in surprise as the Human forces dropped smoke and ran back down the Tunnels, leaving Vellisk, Oraka, and the forces guarding the Transit hub in confusion.
Vellisk herself was the most confused out of all of them, while she was fairly sure that she and her fellow Cabalites could handle the Humans, the fact that they had run after only barely engaging them was odd.
'Maybe they heard about us from there fellows on the surface, or there commander is more conscious about the losses of his service men than initially expected' Vellisk thought to herself as she inspected her shotgun, grimacing slightly as she realised the weapon was covered deep in crimson red blood, Human blood.
She never really enjoyed taking any Sentients life in all due honesty, especially those who had done no outright wrong, and these Humans hadn't exactly done anything to deserve the wrath of the Hierarchy, at least in her opinion, sure they had activated a relay, but then again so had the Hanar during their first contact, and many other races besides, so if they didn't get punished for it, why should these humans (not that she thought they should be punished for it mind you, regardless of context or if this was a "first time" situation)
"Ma'am" Private Negrex would say pulling Vellisk out of her thoughts.
"Yes, Private?" Vellisk would ask as Negrex would give the Cabalite a Salute before saying.
"We've got a situation, several of the Human attackers took a number of civilian contractors hostage during their retreat and are threatening to kill them if we don't allow them to leave." Negrex would finish as Vellisk would sigh to herself before saying.
"Let me handle this, hopefully I can get it done without any more bloodshed." Vellisk would say as Negrex would reply.
"But Ma'am…" Negrex was about to say before being interrupted by Vellisk.
"Just lead me to where they are, Private." Vellisk would say curtly as the Private would nod before leading Vellisk to the location.
Soon after arriving Vellisk could well and truly tell that the hostage takers had a knack for picking the right location to hunker down, considering that the place they had chosen was some sort of Lavatory that had only one entrance and exit, easily defendable, and hard to assault.
"I promise Humans, if you come out peacefully we won't kill you." Vellisk would hear Sergeant Nilak shout out to the Humans within the Lavatory to little avail.
"Ah, Corporal Vallisk, didn't expect to see you here." Sergeant Nilak would say as Vallisk, not in the mood for pleasantries, would respond saying.
"What is the situation, Nilak?" Vallisk would say promptly as Nilak would nod in understanding before saying.
"Well, from what i can tell these guys got cut off by us during their retreat from the Transit hub, most likely realising that they weren't going to escape they took five Civilian Contractors hostage before holding up within there, aside from there initial set of demands they haven't responded to any attempts to negotiate with them, well, aside with bullets, of course." Nilak would say, gesturing to three injured Turians on a nearby bench getting treated by medics.
Vallisk would nod before saying.
"Let me try to negotiate with them." Nilak would shake his head in disagreement before saying.
"Can't let you do that Vallisk, plus Orvaka wants them gone now…" Before Nilak could continue Vallisk would interrupt the Turian saying.
"They'll kill dozens of your men and the hostages before you manage to kill them, plus Orvaka's going to be facing a military tribunal the moment he gets back to Council space, do you really want to be viewed as one of his bootlickers, or as someone who tried his best to oppose the decisions of a madman?" Vallisk would ask as her words would find their mark in Nilak's soul.
"Oh alright, guess there's no harm in you trying is there, I'll let the Guard know to let you in." Nilak would say as Vallisk would nod before leaving and heading into the Lavatories.
Inside Vallisk could see why the Humans had chosen this place to bunker down, a single side wall was all that protected her from inevitable death if she showed herself to the Humans around the corner.
Looking around Vallisk would see a broken mirror on the side of the wall that pointed right down the corridor, using the mirror, Vallisk was able to tell that the Humans had set up a small barricade made out of an assortment of junk.
Thinking before choosing her words, Vallisk would say.
"Are you guys hungry, because I've got some food with your names written on it if you just listen to me." Vallisk would say, seeing some of the faces of the Humans twitch though quickly set back into their usual, terrified, though determined, expressions.
Looking through the mirror Vallisk could tell that the three Humans by the Barricade were irregular troopers, judging by their Red armbands and mixed assortment of civilian gear and military equipment.
"I'm going to kick down a box of food to prove that I am not lying, please, do not shoot me while I am doing so." Vallisk would shout out to the Humans down the corridor before producing a sealed box of what appeared to be standard Human military rations.
Some of the few infrastructural facilities that the Turians had spared during the initial bombardment of Shanxi, had been farms and Agricultural processing facilities, after all, their food produce would be absolutely needed to feed the Human population of Shanxi after the initial invasion as well as the inevitable tide of prisoners of war, or well, that was at least the reason why Orvaka ordered for these sites to be spared, though, knowing Orvaka, it could also be for some unknowable nefarious one as well.
Placing the box down on the floor, Vallisk would give the box a nice kick down the corridor as far as possible, not wanting to risk the Humans thinking that she was simply trying to lure them out of their position.
Thankfully it seemed that Vallisks' offering seemed to have the intended trick, as one of the Humans would rush up to gather the container before bringing it back to the safety of their barricade.
Vallisk would hear the humans indistinctly debating among themselves for a few moments, before another human, clearly the equivalent of an officer of their group, would emerge before saying simply.
"Speak, Fascist."
'What in the name of the spirits does 'Fascist' mean?' Vallisk thought to herself before she replied to the Human saying.
"My name is Vallisk Ncyra, a Cabal of the Turian Hierarchy, and I am here to negotiate for your surrender as well as the lives of your captives." Vallisk would finish saying as the Human would wait for a second before responding.
"If you truly wish to negotiate then come to us unarmed, that is our only demand." the Human would finish saying as Vallisk would nod in understanding before slowly but surely throwing her Shotgun and Pistol into the corridor.
"Wait, Vallisk, don't…" Nilak would say before Vallisk would pull the comm bead out of her ear and toss it nearby, significantly reducing the amount of sound Nilak was producing.
Walking slowly down the corridor with her hands raised, Vallisk would eventually reach the stockade the Humans had established.
One of the Humans would move forward to quickly pat her down for any hidden weapons, and manage to only find one, her Biotic Amp.
"Sir, She's got an amp on her." The Human would say as the officer of their group, clearly a man, would frown slightly before saying.
"I thought we said no weapons?" The Human would ask aggressively as Vellisk would reply quickly saying.
"I can't remove my amp, at least not here, I am sorry for not disclosing that fact but it is true." She would say as the Human officer would grunt slightly before replying.
"Alright then, let's talk then." The Human officer would say as Vellisk would reply.
"First off, I want to see that the hostages are still alive, then we can negotiate." the Officers frown would deepen before replying.
"That is quite the demand you are making, Fascist." the Human would almost growl as Vellisk would sigh before saying.
"And yet I must see that they are okay before we can continue, also, what in the name of the spirits is a fascist?" Vellsik would say, clearly taking the Human by surprise as the Human would respond, saying.
"It's… a complicated topic, but I don't see any reason for not allowing you to see the Hostages." the Human would say as Vellisk would nod before following the Human out past the stockade and into the Lavatories.
Looking around, Vellisk would see Five Turians tied up around a number of metal posts as well as with gags in their mouths.
"Now that you have seen them, can we start?" The Human would ask impatiently as the Turian would nod her head before saying.
"Yes, and I guess your demands are the same as before?" The Turian would ask as the Human would nod his head before replying.
"Yes, we will release the hostages once we get to the tunnels that lead out of the Shantong Spaceport's Maglev Terminal, after that you get your people back and we get out of here." The Human would say as Vellisk would nod in confirmation before responding.
"You are aware that we have patrols all around those tunnels right?" Vellisk would say, allowing the Human to stew in the information before continuing. "Patrols that will shoot you on sight." Vellisk would end as the Human would respond.
"I don't see how that…" Vellisk would interrupt the Human saying.
"It is my bloody concern considering that it risks the lives of my fellow comrades when they inevitably fight you." Vellisk would wait for a moment before continuing "And personally, I am sick and tired of all the needless death that has occurred because of this shit-show, not just Turian deaths but also Human deaths as well." Vellisk realised that she shouldn't have said the last sentence, after all Humanity was an incredibly new species who still probably thought that anything that could think but wasn't Human was this unknowable and utterly incomprehensible creature.
However, surprisingly the Human's expressions would mellow out slightly as one of his comrades would say.
"I guess even Aliens can be empathetic, even if she doesn't realise she is serving a degenerated capitalist state, she still does have a point, we will be killed if we try to go back through the tunnels." One of the Humans, a female, Vellisk believed, would say, as another Human would interject.
"Yeah, Loji has a point, there's no way we will be getting past the Cuttlemen through the Tunnels, even if we could fight past them we would have to move fast and they would have the advantage, we will lose people if we go down through the tunnels, our best bet maybe just to surrender and take our chances with the Cuttlemen." Another Human, a male, would say as the Human officer would grumble slightly before saying.
"Alright fine, I agree to your terms of surrender, Sergeant Vellisk of the Hierarchy, however on certain conditions." the Human officer would say as Vellisk would nod before saying.
"Name them." Vellisk would say as the Human would nod before saying.
"That you do not confiscate any of our armbands or literature that we might have on our persons, as well as a guarantee that any said items are not to be destroyed in case your government sees fit to render us as martyrs to the People of Shanxi." The Human would finish and Vellisk, somewhat shocked, would reply saying.
"No, what, why would we execute you, and why in the name of the Spirits of Palaven are you assuming that we will, and why are you so determined to protect books or holo-slates or what not?" Vellisk would ask as the Human would shake his head before responding.
"It is not your choice to make, Vellisk, while you maybe honourable, Vellisk that doesn't make the government you fight for or its ideology an honourable or progressive force, and for our books, our literature, our ideas, our symbols, that is something that is well worth dying and fighting for." The Human would finish as Vellisk would nod silently before replying.
"I can understand why you think we are ruthless slaughters, we haven't exactly made the best first impression." 'That would actually be an understatement of the millennia' Vellisk thought to herself before continuing.
"But we aren't the worst force in the Galaxy, not perfect for sure, but not as bad as you think." Vellisk would say as the Human would shake his head before replying.
"From the perspective of someone at the middle point of the boot." The Human would finish, leaving Vellisk utterly confused at the term as the Turian would reply.
"I take it all of you are ready to leave this place?" Vellisk would ask as the Humans would all nod in unison before depositing their weapons in the corner of the Lavatories before following Vellisk through the corridor and out back towards the Maglev Terminal.
"Well, I am surprised that you managed to resolve that without Bloodshed." Sergeant Nilax would say as the Humans were lined up against the wall before having omni cuffs placed upon their wrists.
"It wasn't easy, let me tell you." Vellisk would say before continuing.
"Though in the end all they wanted was that they would be allowed to keep their books and armbands, which is well, strange." Nilax would nod his head in agreement before asking.
"And the hostages?" Vellisk would gesture to the door she had just gone through before saying.
"In the Lavatories, they're fine if a little shaken, The Humans guns are also in there and my equipment is by the corridor." Vellisk would finish as Nilax would nod in confirmation before saying.
"I'll send some people to retrieve the hostages, the Human's weapons, and yours, if you want me to?" Vellisk would nod her head in confirmation, with Nilax giving out a series of orders to his subordinates soon after.
It would only take a few minutes for Vellisk to review her equipment back, checking on its condition Vellisk would smile as she saw that her rather rough handling of her shotgun and pistol hadn't damaged the weapons, placing them back on her armour, Just as Vellisk turned to face Nilax and thank him her comm bean would go off, with a very distinct and familiar voice sounding from the other side.
"Corporal Vellisk, come in." Varfen's voice would sound out from Vellisk's comm bead, forcing the Turian to reply.
"Yes, Centurion?" Vellisk would ask as Varfen would respond.
"Where have you been, never mind, I need you and your squad back up here and at the War Planning tent pronto." Vellisk would nod her head in understanding before responding.
"I understand, me and my squad will be there in five." Vellisk would say before turning off her comm bead and moving rapidly to gather up her squad.

"So you managed to find the location of their headquarters through triangulating intercepted communication messages?" Varfen would ask the, rather eccentric communications officer who had made the discovery.
"Yes, while I can't be certain for sure, I am fairly certain that this site here is where the Humans are coordinating their resistance from." Comms Officer Heclern would say, a rather giddish expression on his face as Magnus would turn to face Varfen before saying.
"It's a fairly big stretch, don't you think Varfen?" Magnus would ask his fellow Centurion as Varfen would nod his head in agreement before responding.
"Yes it is, but even if it is just a comms hub crippling the Humans ability to communicate with each other would help us out significantly when we have to bring the fight to there tunnels, and if it is there headquarters, then we may not even have to fight in the tunnels at all." Varfen would say as Vellisk would walk through the flaps of the tent before saying.
"What's this all about Centurion?" Vellisk would ask inquisitively as Varfen would respond.
"Well, Heclern here claims that he has managed to identify a major Human military site from triangulating intercepted Human communication singles, which seem to all concentrate around this industrial area here." Varfen would say before gesturing on the Holo-map to a factory that seemed to produce, or at least used to, produce agricultural machinery.
"The Current Theory is the site is acting as a major communications Hub for the Human resistance on this planet, if it were to be taken then it would make our life significantly easier." Magnus would say as Vellisk would nod her head in understanding before saying.
"I take it there is another theory for what this site is though, isn't there?" Vellisk would ask as Varfen would nod his head before replying.
"Another theory is that this site is the main headquarters of Human forces on this planet, though I do think it is a bit of a stretch in my opinion." Varfen would finish as Vellisk would shake her head in disagreement before saying.
"Actually it isn't as much of a stretch as you might think, the troops around that sector are almost exclusively trained military personnel, and they have much better gear than what the Irregulars have, and some of my fellow Cabalites have even seen military grade vehicles around that sector, if there headquarters was here it would make sense why they would bring out the big guns to defend it." Vellisk would finish as Varfen and Magnus would look at each other before one of them would respond.
"If that's the case then we are going to need to dedicate a lot of forces to assaulting this "Base" then aren't we" Varfen would say as most of the people in the tent.
"I agree, we will also need Orvaka to lend us aerial support from frigates in order to ensure we aren't helped up by heavy resistance from any highly entrenched human positions." Magnus would say as Varfen would shake his head in disagreement.
"Look Varfen, you can't let…" Before Magnus could continue Varfen would interject.
"It's not about that or even the fact that he was going to kill me." Varfen would say before continuing.
"We Can't tell Orvaka about this, if we do he'll order for an orbital bombardment of the entire sector, and the last thing i want to happen is for the locals to be even more pissed off at us then they already are." Varfen would say before gesturing to a number of refugee camps scattered around the sector.
"I've got another suggestion." Vellisk would say before continuing.
"I could lead my Cabalites through one of the tunnels here." Vellisk would say before gesturing to a tunnel that led to the Maglev Terminal of the factory.
"All you would have to do would be to keep the Humans distracted, that should hopefully lead to them re-allocating more troops to the surface and make my life a hell of a lot easier, once in, we can take them by surprise, capture and or kill there general, and more or less capture their headquarters." Vellisk would say as Varfen and Magnus would nod their heads in agreement with the plan.
"It'll take some time to piece this plan together, not to mention will have to launch a series of diversionary attacks to delay the entrance of reinforcements to that sector for as long as possible, because as soon as we begin the attack, it'll be like stirring up a Nak'thak nest." Varfen would say as Magnus would nod his head in agreement.
"Agreed, not to mention many of our troops are utterly exhausted, our best bet would be to wait for at least 24 hours until everyone is rested and recuperated, then we can begin the operation." Magnus would say as pretty much everyone within the room would nod there heads in agreement.
"Good, at least we got a plan to win this without turning the rivers of this planet red or blue with blood." Varfen would say before continuing.
"Everyone's dismissed, and ordered to sleep for as long as possible, we will begin preparations for the assault on the enemies headquarters in 26 hours time." Varfen would say as Heclearn would ask.
"I take it we shouldn't speak to anyone about this outside of this tent?" Heclearn would say as Varfen would nod his head before saying.
"Yes but at least six hours before the operation you all are allowed to explain the details of the operation to anyone who needs to know, as by that point Orvaka won't have enough time to do anything about it." Varfen would finish as those within the Tent would nod their heads in understanding before slowly filing out of the tent.

Well umm that took me a lot less time then what i was initially expecting, which i guess means you all get two chapters in one day.
Now does that mean that is going to be the regular schedule, no, unfortunately i do have to do things in real life which means in all due likelihood i will be only able to make one chapter a week, in all due honesty the only reason i churned this one out so fast was because i didn't feel like doing anything else with my free time.
In any case i hope you all liked this and will stick around for next time, in any case, goodbye.
