I feel lighter then I have in ages as I wake Saturday morning, but that could be because I'm meeting Marinette in a hour for coffee and a walk. The iron paw of depression that has griped me seems to be lessening, but I'm taking one day at a time.

"Is there time to stop at Leo's Cheese Store?" Plagg asks as he flies in between the shower droplets, the air sweet and smelling like peaches and honey. "Yeah, sure." "Hooray!" Plagg hugs my cheek as I soap my hair vigorously. "Your the best holder ever!" I laugh and wag a finger at him. "Your not just saying that because I buy you cheese, right?" Plagg ignores me, he's even more clammed up about feelings then I am. "If you need me, I'll be in the stinky socks!"

Plagg gets his wish, and I feel a smile growing on my face as we approach Starbucks. "Hey," she hugs me, and I hold her close. "Ready for coffee?" I grin, taking her hand. "I know you are." It's a known fact my Princess loves her coffee. "Just for that, your buying," she huffs.

I order a hazelnut latte and a chocolate croissant, and there's just something about chocolate that makes a guy giddy. I look up when Marinette snorts, her face pink with laughter. "What?" I mumble, around a mouthful of creamy chocolate.

"Enjoying yourself? You have chocolate all over your face. Come here and I'll clean you up." Marinette digs a wet wipe out of her bag and begins dabbing at my face. "Man, I love carbs. I could go for another one." "No, you don't. To much sweet will make you sick."

I grow a bit shy. "No one's as sweet as you anyway," I catch her for a quick kiss. "Are you just trying to butter me up, Agreste?" she crosses her arms. "Don't talk of butter," I jokingly moan. "And how about you preserve the jokes for me?" I must be feeling better, punning and joking with no mask.

Marinette sighs and I can see her silently counting to ten. "Let's take that walk now, shall we?"

There's this certain park we like, as it's usual not to crowded and in the past week or two when we walk home from school, it's absolutely bursting with flowers.

"Look at this one, Marinette," I look up from a orange flower. But Marinette has disappeared. I'm distracted when a red dotted ladybug lands on a buttercup. I look to make sure no one's here. "Found you, M'lady," I whisper.

As if the small bug heard me, it flies to my finger, and I hear a familiar laugh. "Looks like you found me!" I look up into the tree and find Ladybug staring down at me, face light and happy. She swings down and walks over.

"Does this I'll have good luck, finding a Lady Luck?" I ask, watching the small bug. "Maybe," a grin is playing at Ladybug's mouth. "So, you like Ladybug's then?"

She's dating someone else now, but it's not like I didn't use have the crush of the century on her. "Their cute. You know, my mother always said the first thing I did when in the garden was look for ladybugs."

Surprise flits onto Ladybug's face. It's not often I talk about Mother. "Maybe you and I," I stumble a bit on my words, "Or Marinette when she gets back could all look for more ladybugs together."

"Sorry, Adrien, I have to go, but I'll see you soon, okay." "Okay. Goodbye, Ladybug." Just as M'lady disappears, so does my little ladybug.

"Sorry, I had a phone call!" Marinette dashes up, out of breath. "I found a ladybug," I tell her. "Oh?" "Yeah, but it flew away. However, your here, and you'll always be my everyday Ladybug."

As if to answer, Marinette wraps her arms around me, and I hug her, kissing the top of her head.
