Harry Potter doesn't belong to me , but to JK Rowling. Harry Potter characters, settings, ect. are not my property. I'm only borrowing them!

Rated for mild language and child abuse. I don't condone the abuse of children (or anyone) but this is how I see the Dursleys.

Poppy was sleeping in her private quarters when she received a patronus. It was Minerva's tabby. Knowing Minerva wouldn't call her for anything less than the utmost importance, Poppy began collecting her things while she listened to Minerva's choked voice, "Poppy I-I need help. Well I don't but Harry P-Potter does. Come to number 4 Privet D-Drive and bring bruise c-cream and blood rep-plenishers."

Poppy knew when her friend's voice was that choked it could mean nothing good.

After grabbing her potions and walking down to Hogsmeade, Poppy disapperated.

Upon her entrance to Harry Potter's home, Poppy heard muffled crying from upstairs, a soft moan, and a soothing voice, sounding like Minerva.

Poppy swiftly moved upstairs and turned to the plump witch sitting against the wall, crying.

"Molly?"

"Hello, Poppy," Minerva said grimly without looking up from the bed.

Poppy moved to stand next to her and almost threw up. On the bed was an unconscious Harry Potter. Had Poppy not known who it was, she would not have been able to identify the mass of blood and bruises on the thin mattress.

Having stepped over three stunned bodies wearing muggle clothes, Poppy believed she knew who was behind the boy's injured state, but she still wanted to deny it, "What exactly happened?"

At those words Molly burst into tears again and Minerva looked as if she was trying very hard not to do the same. She pointed at the three figures on the floor, "Them, those disgraceful, horrible, evil 'relatives' of his did this to him!" she angrily exclaimed

Poppy listened as the two witches explained how they transformed into two muggles and acted as houseguests to Mr. Potter's 'family'. They explained how Minerva found the note and Harry and how they had stunned the three Dursleys after they called them freaks.

Poppy was in shock. She was not expecting to be working with a child abuse case when she got here, she was thinking death eaters…

'Oh how did I miss this?' she wondered, 'I'm the mediwitch and he is under my care too often to count!'

Poppy was broken from her guilt when another quiet moan came from the bed. She turned to look at Harry Potter, the savior of the wizarding world and the boy who gets injured too many times to count, who could do this to him?

"Poppy, I know you are likely surprised, but Harry needs medical attention. Can you help him?"

Poppy nodded, "Y-Yes… sorry I'm just s-surprised,"

Minerva nodded her understanding, "I d-don't understand h-how we missed this…"

Poppy didn't respond. She knew Mr. Potter was an incredibly stubborn person and no one would have known if he didn't want them to.

With these positive thoughts, false as they may have been, in her mind, Poppy set to work.

Poppy finished stabilizing Mr. Potter about half an hour later and was exhausted.

"How long until he wakes?" Minerva asked.

"Just half an hour I would imagine,"

Molly looked up, "Thank god,"

Poppy looked at her, she knew this woman was incredibly fond of the boy lying motionless on the bed, but she had to understand, "You have to be patient with him. Do not ask him why he didn't tell anyone, at least not yet. Don't pity him, he will hate that."

Molly nodded, "What should we do with them?" she asked, pointing at the bodies on the floor.

"Call Madame Bones and explain the situation. She is discreet," Minerva suggested

Molly nodded and summoned her patronus.
