Harry Potter doesn't belong to me , but to JK Rowling. Harry Potter characters, settings, ect. are not my property. I'm only borrowing them!
Rated for mild language and child abuse. I don't condone the abuse of children (or anyone) but this is how I see the Dursleys.
Remus was sitting in his room at Grimmauld place when Minerva floo called him.
Looking both anxious and angry, she started her tale, "I got a note from Molly yesterday asking if Harry could come over. I said yes and he took the Knight bus at 0830 this morning. I sent an owl to Ginny to ask her if he arrived safely and she sent me this back," She sent the note through the fire for Remus to read.
Professor McGonagall,
Harry was never meant to come over today. Yesterday mum left to visit Dumbledore at his request but returned an hour later with no recollection of what was talked about. If it helps, she left around noon and came back at one.
Ginny Weasley
Remus was confused, "Did Albus kidnap Harry?"
Minerva nodded, "Me and Sirius went to Privet Drive, but there were powerful wards preventing our entrance."
Remus was angry, "The leader of the light returned the Boy-who-lived to his abusive relatives and prevented his legal guardian's entrance?"
Minerva's eyes watered, "Yes. I am very worried about him, I was wondering if you could try to go to his home and collect him?"
Remus nodded, "I can try, but he may have warded the home against me too…"
"All I ask if you try, I don't want to think of what is happening to him as we speak…"
Remus nodded and disapperated.
The first thing Remus noticed before he blasted the door to number 4, Privet Drive down were the voices.
Terrible voices they were too. They were talking about what they did to Harry; using his wolf senses Remus smelled blood. He blasted the door down and entered.
The three child abusers were sitting at the table eating a late lunch, acting as if it was a completely usual day.
He couldn't hear what the monsters were saying, the smell of blood was overpowering. Remus started up the stairs and opened the door with all the locks with a simple "alohomora", ignoring the frightened looks he was being sent .
He spotted Harry almost immediately; he was anchored to the wall by metal shackles and he was unconscious. Remus wasn't surprised by the latter as he had so many bruises and cuts that it would be a surprise he was still alive.
Remus felt a pulse, but it was irregular and faint.
Casting a quick diagnostic spell, Remus felt a tear roll down his cheek.

As soon as he finished reading the report and seeing how close Harry was to dying, Remus picked the teen up and came down the stairs, tears streaming down his face.
Remus pointed his wand at the fat walrus still seated at the table, "Never. Touch. Harry. Again!"
The walrus sneered
"Petrificus Totalus!"
Remus felt a grim satisfaction in watching the mustached man's legs spring together and watched him fall to the floor, motionless.
"Stupify!"
The horse ducked under the table just in time for her son to be stunned.
Remus snarled and stuck her to the ceiling. This time they were going to Azkaban forever, and there was nothing Albus could do to get them out.
"I'll be back. You're not getting out this time," he warned as he departed the house and apparated back to Minerva's home.
Remus didn't even bother to knock when he reached Minerva's cottage.
He pushed the door open, Harry still in his arms. Minerva was sitting on a chair pointing a wand at him, but he barely registered that she was there.
"Get Poppy quick. He's bleeding internally!"
Minerva's face paled and she headed to the fireplace, likely too upset to cast a patronus.
If you were to ask Remus what happened in the minutes following, he would have not been able to answer, but when Poppy arrived Harry was laying on the couch, which was soaked with blood.
She took one look at the diagnostic report for earlier and started healing him frantically.
About two hours after Poppy and two from St Mungos arrived and Harry was declared to be out of danger, the three healers and Remus spoke about what to do with him. St Mungos wouldn't be good because he was too easy to recognize and Hogwarts had the meddling old coot so he was just to stay with Minerva.
The Dursleys were sentenced by Amelia again and were all in Azkaban for life. Dumbledore didn't know this and no one was going to tell him until Minerva went to ask him where Harry was in an hour.
Poppy turned to Minerva, "He should wake up in a day or two but will not be recovered for about two more weeks."
Minerva nodded, "Any restrictions on things?" she asked quietly. It was the first time she had spoken since Poppy had come through
Remus thought the only reason she asked was to ensure Harry got the care he needed and she would continue to be mute until she was yelling at Dumbledore in an hour.
Poppy nodded, "Don't let him out of bed until I give him the all clear and no magic for a month at least."
Minerva nodded and looked down at the floor again.
The next hour dragged by. The two St Mungo's healers had left and Poppy was trying to coax Minerva into eating. So far her efforts had been in vain
At five that evening Minerva disapperated away to kill the headmaster.
