"Harry Potter doesn't belong to me , but to JK Rowling. Harry Potter characters, settings, ect. are not my property. I'm only borrowing them!

Rated for mild language and child abuse. I don't condone the abuse of children (or anyone) but this is how I see the Dursleys.

Minerva Mcgonagall has always thought of Harry as her son, so when Remus returned with his barely-alive form she went into shock.

The only things that allowed her to leave Harry now were the thought that he is stable and the ability to kill the one behind his state.

Minerva finally pulled herself together in time to knock on the headmaster's door; there was no going back now.

"Enter."

Minerva looked at the old man, the one who almost got her honorary son killed, and tried very hard not to slap him, "Do you know where Harry is?" she asked, faking alarm and concern

"Alas, he is safe now."

"Safe where? Surely my home would suffice?"

Albus smiled sadly, "He needs the blood wards to be fully protected," he explained in his overly cheerful tone.

Minerva was done with cheerful. Would he have been cheerful if he was abused every summer? If he were killed by the ones meant to care for him?"

"So let me get this straight," Minerva said in her coldest tone, "You are condemning him to abuse so he is protected for two months out of the year?"

Albus shook his head, "Minerva, Hogwarts protects him for the rest of the year, it is the saf-"

"SAFE MY ASS ALBUS!"

Albus opened his mouth as if to interrupt, but she spoke over him.

"First year he almost died in a deathtrap you set up to test him! Second year he almost died again fighting a basilisk. Third year dementors and a werewolf. Need I remind you of last year?"

Albus looked at her, "But did he?"

"Did he die at my home?"

"No but he could."

Minerva laughed cruelly, "He is twice as likely to die from one of your manipulative stunts or because of his 'family' then he is at my home!" She exclaimed

"He will be staying there. I have set up wards to protect your entrance."

"Did you also set them up against Sirius, Remus, Poppy, Amelia, Molly, Hermione, and Ginny?"

The professor nodded. Minerva knew it was a lie as Remus got in, but she wanted him to be sure Harry was still on the premise, "And what, may I ask, are you going to do if he dies while in their 'care'?

"He won't," Albus assured her confidently

Minerva glared at him, "He is my legal ward. You have no right to take him from me and place him with child abusers who would likely murder him!"

"No. They are his legal family and are allowed to do what they wish with him. Petunia and Lily were sisters. They are blood related; you cannot say the same."

"Do you remember the will?" Minerva asked indignantly, "I am the only viable one to take him. It was explicitly stated he was not to go to those monsters! You violated the will both by not allowing him to be my ward and by bringing him to those pitiful excuses for humans!"

"I am his magical guardian," Albus stated calmly, something Minerva couldn't even imagine doing in the current situation.

She took a deep breath, "I am magical. I am his guardian. Add the two words together!"

"You are not his guardian. That title belongs to Petunia and Vernon Dursley, who are muggles. As I was the one who placed him there, I am his magical guardian."

Minerva glared at the old man, 'How old is he to not understand that I am his guardian?' she asked herself. She took a deep breath and took some papers out of her bag, handing them to him.

He looked over the guardianship documents and looked back up at her, his fear-filled eyes betraying his calm facade.

"Now Minerva, surely you can understand why I was confused, I was never notified of this change."

Minerva stared at him, "I took him home yesterday, I really hope you didn't think I just took the child illegally…"

"I was only able to assume. That was the reason I returned him to his relatives."

"And so, instead of informing me, you had Molly ask Harry to stay over then obliviate her?"

Albus nodded, "I knew you would never agree…"

"Well if you didn't think me to be his guardian why didn't you do it anyway?"

Albus ignored the question, "So now can you sign this to return guardianship please?" he asked, passing her a paper.

Minerva took it from him and lit it on fire with her wand.

Albus stared at her, "Minerva!"

"No. I will not be putting my child in care of abusive muggles."

"It is important he return so the blo-"

If you say blood wards I will rip you limb. From. Fucking. Limb."

"Minerva you do-"

"The wards are not important and the only blood is the blood likely leaking from Harry at this moment. You will bring Harry back, give him the medical attention he requires, and apologize."

"I'm afraid I will not be doing that."

Minerva lost it. She picked several objects and threw them at them. Several of the portraits were yelling, but at him or her, Minerva didn't know. She kicked a chair to the floor and stormed out.
