Harry Potter doesn't belong to me, obviously and unfourtunatly.

Harry:

Harry Potter was nervous. No, he was terrified. In less than an hour, the boy would be questioned about his abuse.

Luckily, the trial was not an open gallery. Only Professor McGonagall, Mrs. Weasley, Ginny, and Hermione would be in attendance.

"You ready?" Professor McGonagall asked from beside him.

Harry took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. "Yeah." The boy's voice was not as strong as he hoped, but at least he didn't squeak the word out.

Harry sat down on the bench overlooking where the Dursleys would be tried, shaking slightly. Both his female friends gripped his hands and squeezed encouragingly. Harry smiled at them weakley and they smiled back.

Mrs. Weasley looked very pleased as Harry turned to her. "Hermione was right; there were traces of a potion in Ron's food. He should snap out of his trance in a few days and all will be well again."

"That's wonderful!" Harry exclaimed. He was looking forward to having his best mate back. "I assume it was Dumbledore?"

Hermione nodded. "Yes, his magical signature was on it." She said grimly.

"So are you just going to have Ron pretend to be a jealous prat while Dumbledore's close?" Harry asked the three witches.

All three nodded but it was Ginny who spoke. "We are also going to test all his food and drinks in case Dumbledore gets paranoid.

"What was the point in the potion?" Harry asked

"Ah," Hermione started. "We were just discussing that. We think it was to convince the rest of the family you were just faking for attention."

Professor McGonagall nodded along. "So obviously him calling the WSC was not an intended side effect?"

Molly smiled sadly. "No, it was not. We don't believe he intended anything more than to push us away from you."

Harry nodded at the same time the courtroom door opened. Harry ducked down under the benches; it was Dumbledore.

The elderly headmaster of Hogwarts looked pissed. Harry had heard from Professor McGonagall that he was kicked from the Wizengamot for both his allegations of Voldemort returning and returning Harry to an abusive home.

Harry grabbed his cloak out of his pocket as Dumbledore walked closer to the Weasleys. "I am going to stay under here so I can hear him." The boy told his four companioning witches.

All four nodded and glared at Dumbledore coldly as he walked over to them, his fury still evident in his unusually cold eyes. "How and why are Harry's family here?" He asked the females coldly.

It was Ginny who answered. "We are here because of the Dursley trial, we got here via the floo."

Dumbledore glared at her. "No. I mean Harry's family, it is obvious why you are here."

Hermione stood up taller. "We are his family. The Dursleys never have been and never will be."

Dumbledore ignored her. "Harry must be returned to their care immediately. How did you even get past my wards?"

"Remus did the day you kidnapped him." Professor McGonagall told her colleague icily.

"Ah. Very smart, but you do not understand what you have done; They will not get off." Dumbledore warned in a faux-cheery tone.

"We know he won't get off, Albus. What they did was despicable, and Harry will not be returning." Mrs. Weasley narrowed her eyes.

Dumbledore glared at them. "Where is Harry? I am going to find him and convince him to drop the charges." The old headmaster said with conviction.

Ginny laughed coldly. "Then Susan and Amelia Bones will press charges for assault and wrongful imprisonment."

Dumbledore paled. "I'll talk to them too, this cannot happen."

"Why must Harry return to the Dursleys, sir?" Hermione asked

Dumbledore smiled at her, likely thinking he got his point across. "His mother's blood was keyed into Privet Drive, so as long as both he and his aunt label the place as home, Harry is protected."

Professor McGonagall raised an eyebrow. "The place he was abused was the most safe?" She asked disbelievingly.

"As long as Harry acts like a better nephew, his relatives will treat him better. I've already talked to them." The hamster tried to calm the witches.

Hermione opened her mouth furiously, but Professor McGonagall beat her to it. "Albus, Lily and her sister didn't get along after they found out about Lily's magic. It said in the will Harry should not go to them!"

"Well then Lily didn't understand the power of the blood wards." Dumbledore said, speaker faster as the trial was due to start.

"What blood wards were those?" Hermione asked suspiciously.

"The Sanguinis Deperditio wards." Dumbledore was looking anxious now, and Harry could see he was sweating slightly.

There was silence for a moment, until Professor McGonagall, Hermione, and Mrs. Weasley all started yelling at once.

"Those wards are terrible, Albus!" Professor McGonagall said, a mixture of fear and anger in her voice.

"Those are the ones that drain magical power, right?" Hermione asked.

Mrs. Weasley nodded and Hermione turned to Ginny and Harry, who was still invisible. "Those wards block magical power. That is likely the reason Harry has been having such powerful magical outbursts coming to Professor McGonagall's home." Hermione's eyes took on a glassy look and he rummaged for her wand in her rucksack. "There are too many witches and wizards here for the trace to work."

Hermione took a deep breath. "There are 160 million witches and wizards in the world. The lower your number the more powerful you are." She explained. "I am in the 70 millions, which is not too bad."

Ginny nodded. "I am in the 93 millions, my mum is in the 101 millions, and my brother the 120 millions."

Hermione continued. "Dumbledore is number 102, which is one of the best scores. I don't know what your number is, but the blood wards took away 75% of your magical core power, so it should be high."

"Does your magical core power change between when you are born and later in life?" Harry asked.

Hermione shook her head. "Only if your magic is bound." She took a deep breath. "May I do the spell on you?"

Harry nodded, he was curious what his rating would be.

"magicis core potentia rating." Hermione muttered. Her eyes were closed and she looked to be concentrating hard.

Harry looked up, above his head was the number seven.

Hermione and Ginny's jaws dropped.

Deciding he would talk to them about what happened later, he turned back to Professor McGonagall and Mrs. Weasley, who were still arguing with Dumbledore.

"What about this," Professor McGonagall proposed. "If the Dursleys get off, Harry will go back to them, no arguments from me."

Dumbledore nodded and put his hand out. "Deal."

Professor McGonagall nodded at the same time Hermione ripped Harry's cloak off him. "Professor Dumbledore, look at Harry's rating; the one for his magical core."

"Hello Harry." The old man greeted Harry with poorly disguised coldness. He pointed his wand at the young wizard and the number seven appeared above his head once more.

All three adults' jaws dropped and they looked stunned.

"Seven?!" Professor McGonagall exclaimed.

"How?" Mrs. Weasley said faintly.

"How what?" Ginny asked her mum.

"Well if he is indeed that powerful, how did none of the teachers notice?" Mrs. Wealsey said, still staring at the glittering seven above Harry.

"It was because of the blood wards, they have been draining his power." Professor McGonagall growled, glaring at the headmaster.

Dumbledore ignored all of them. "Harry, I'm sure you heard, but if your relatives get off you will go back with no complaints." He told the young wizard.

Harry nodded. "And if they don't get off, you will not break them out and you will leave Professor McGonagall and me alone."

Dumbledore's eyes turned hard for a moment before twinkling again. "Of course, Harry." The old wizard agreed easily.

"Attention everybody, the trial is starting!" Amelia Bones called.

Harry looked around, the entire Wizengamot was there in addition to Harry, Hermione, Ginny, Dumbledore, Professor McGonagall, Mrs. Weasley, Mad-Eye Moody, and, for some reason, Snape. There was also a group of people Dumbledore let in that Harry didn't know: a young witch with short pink hair, a black wizard, and a man Harry believed to be Sirius with red hair and kind blue eyes.

The redhead walked up to Harry and hugged him, confirming Harry's suspicions. "I missed you, I'm sorry about Albus."

Harry nodded. "It's not your fault, Mr. Kcalb."

Sirius rolled his eyes, "I'm that obvious?"

Harry laughed. "Who else would hug me?" Harry looked up at his godfather. "I'm surprised they let you come."

Sirius chuckled. "They didn't, but I threatened to kick Dumbledore out if I wasn't allowed to come."

"Kick you out of where?" Hermione asked from somewhere next to Harry.

"My house. We reformed the Order of the Phoenix, it's an organization we had during the last war to fight Voldemort."

Harry nodded. Normally he would feel bad about being left out, but all he wanted currently was to be away from Dumbldore. "What are you guys currently working on?"

Sirius looked around before handing Harry a letter. "Open it later and tell no one you have it." He warned his godson.

Harry nodded and slipped the letter into his pocket as Amelia Bone's voice called out once more. The trial of the Dursleys was officially starting.
