Petunia:
Petunia Dursley was scared. She was currently sitting in a chained chair with freaks all around her, glaring. Who wouldn't be terrified?
"Attention!" Bones said loudly, looking around the courtroom.
Petunia looked around too. The boy was surrounded by three redheads, a teenaged brunette, and the boy's new guardian. Petunia glared in their direction but they were busy glaring at Dumbledore.
"We will go through the defendants one at a time." Bones told the audience. A quick count revealed there were eleven people watching the trial and about fifty people on the gamot. "Dudley Dursley, please stand." The chains surrounding Petunia's son fell away and Dudley stood, looking quite temperamental.
Bones glared down at her son. "You are charged with attempted murder, how do you plead?"
Dudley glared up at the blonde woman. "Not guilty."
"Assault."
"Not guilty."
"Wrongful imprisonment?"
"Not guilty."
Petunia knew her son was not guilty, he was a sweet little boy, but obviously Bones didn't agree. "Attempted rape against an underage witch?" She gritted out.
"Not guilty."
Susan Bones was looking furious and the boy looked torn between comforting her and killing Petunia's Ickle Diddykins.
Bones looked tired as she continued her questioning. "You plead not guilty to attempted murder when both Molly Weasley and Minerva McGonagall witnessed you and your parents brutally beating your cousin?" The freak asked the blond angel.
Dudley nodded. "That was not me."
Petunia knew it was indeed her son who had beat the freak, but there was no way to prove it. Dudley was the smartest person Petunia knew and obviously knew what he was doing.
"I call to the stand Professor Minerva McGonagall and Mrs. Molly Weasley" Bones boomed out, never taking her eyes from Diddykins.
The two freaks that had posed as Mrs. Emory and Ms. Amelia came down, glaring at Dudley.
"Did you indeed see Dudley Dursely beating Harry Potter?" She asked.
"Yes. He has both the same build and height as the boy did and they were the same age with the same hair and eye colour." The redhead Petunia had seen at Kings Cross told Bones.
There is a pensive on the table before you, Professor. Could you please submit the memory into it?" Bones asked.
Now Petunia was worried. If they could extract memories then her Diddykins was screwed as was she.
A minute later a projection was being played on the wall.
Petunia was laughing quietly from the hall while her husband and son continuously whipped the freak.
"Was this not you?" Bones asked Dudley.
Dudley looked toward Dumbledore, their legal advisor, and he shook his head. "This was not Dudley Dursley. Young Dudley must have been polyjuiced." The old man told the blonde woman.
Bones sighed. "I will let that slide. For now." She said.
The woman Minerva believed to be Mrs. Emory walked up to Petunia. "Excuse me Mrs. Dursley, but what is happening?"
Petunia paled. "He… t-this boy… he b-broke in… so we are p-punishing him…" Petunia stammered.
Ms. Amelia nodded. "So why is he chained to the bed of the room with all the locks?"
"And where is the cat?" Mrs. Emory asked.
Petunia looked around desperately. "The c-cat ran when the door was opened and we-we thought we would punish h-him in here so as to not dis-disturb you…"
Ms. Amelia nodded and took her stick out of her pocket. Petunia's eyes went even wider and she screamed, "FREAKS!"
Ms. Amelia nodded. "Yes, and we suggest you tell your oaf of a husband and beast of a child unhand Harry before we kill all three of you," she said in a dangerous tone.
Two boys whipped around, eyes popping out of their heads.
"Hey Ms. Freak, what are you going to do?" Vernon asked in his coolest tone.
"Yeah," Petunia added, "Your sticks don't scare us!"
"Stupify." Ms. Amelia choked out.
Petunia came crashing to the floor and Mrs. Emory turned to Dudley, who was still holding the whip in his hand, ready to strike again.
"The boy deserved what he got. We were going to kill him tonight, then dump him into a river for the fish to eat." Petunia's son said with conviction.
Petunia winced. She didn't know what they were going to do now; Dudley had admitted their plan.
"Harry is no freak. He has done nothing wrong and I hope you and your parents rot in jail for what you did to him!" Mrs. Emory exclaimed.
"He was a burden on my parents, he never did anything for us except threaten us with his freakishness!"
Petunia was impressed with Dudley. He was so protective of his family!
"STUPIFY!" Ms. Amelia screamed and Dudley fell next to Petunia and Vernon on the floor.
"Dudley Dursley admitted to trying to kill Mr. Potter in the memory." Bones said. "All in fa-"
"What proof do you have that that was Dudley?" Dumbledore interrupted Bones.
Bones rolled her eyes but some members of the gamot seemed to be looking at the woman expectantly. She rolled her eyes and placed her wand to her temple. "Here is my memory of events. I arrived over an hour after these events took place." She placed another thing in the bowl and another projection started.
Bones was sitting at her desk when a weird animal appeared, "C-Come to number 4 P-Privet Drive. We w-will explain when you get here. No o-one is dead but we have a situation re-regarding Harry P-Potter."
Stick at the ready, Bones climbed the steps. Sitting against the wall was the redhead, who was back to sitting with the boy. Another freak was sitting on the boy's desk chair, looking exhausted. The boy's new guardian was standing next to a bed with the freak's blood on it.
She cleared her throat to announce her entrance and the three other freaks looked at her, all their eyes glassy.
"What has happened here?" She asked.
The redhead burst into tears again and the professor turned back to the bed.
Bones' jaw dropped, "What happened?" she demanded.
Without saying a word, the unidentified freak pointed to Petunia, Dudley, and Vernon's bodies.
Bones blinked, "Child abuse I presume?"
All three nodded and Bones sat on the edge of the bed. "How did you find out, did he tell you?"
The redhead shook her head and explained, "Me an-and Minerva p-posed as houseguests when my youngest three sons told u-us his worries that H-Harry was being a-abused. We w-witnessed him being beaten and c-called Poppy."
"Will he be okay?" Bones asked worriedly.
It was the unidentified freak who answered this time, "He should wake up in about fifteen minutes. I was wondering if you could get them to admit to their crimes," she said pointing to the family tied up in the corner of the room.
Bones nodded and grabbed Petunia and her family before disappearing.
Bones glared at Dumbledore. "As you can see, over an hour later Dudley Dursley was still Dudley Dursley." She gritted out. "All in favor of conviction?"
About 40 of the freaks raised their sticks and Petunia felt her heart drop.
"More than half. You are guilty, Mr. Dursley." Bones told her son. "Next, would you like to continue to plead innocent to your next three charges: assault, wrongful imprisonment, and attempted rape?"
Dudley nodded and Bones growled. "I will not be submitting a memory for this, but for any who do not know Dudley and Vernon Dursley attempted to rape me and my niece, Susan." She took a moment to glare at Petunia's son and husband before continuing, "Vernon Dursley broke my wand and both Dursley males held me and Susan against our wills in my office."
Dudley was looking longingly over at Susan Bones, who was glaring at him with red eyes.
"Why do you not believe yourself to be guilty, Mr. Dursley?" Bones asked.
Dudley looked at Dumbledore who stepped forward. "As Susan and Dudley are both underage and he did not succeed in defiling Miss Bones, nor was there any proof tha was his intention, I believe the attempted rape charge can be dropped."
Bones nodded. "I was never planning on getting anything with it, it is purely an example of how evil the muggles in front of you are." She almost spat. "What do you have to say about the assault and wrongful imprisonment?"
Dumbledore looked up at her. "My dear, do you really feel that young Dudley Dursley should be imprisoned for something his father instituted? The young man was not the one to break your wand, nor was he the one to hold you back."
Bones' face turned red and she looked ready to explode. All the gamot members were whispering now and one piped up. "How dare you! He held Madam Bones's niece down, who cares which Bones member it was?"
Dumbledore inclined his head. "My apologies."
Bones glared at him and hissed, "If that's all?"
Dumbledore nodded and Bones spoke again. "All in favor of conviction for attempted rape?"
Almost no freaks raised their sticks. "Not guilty." Bones said curtly.
Dudley smiled but Petunia was still worried about the next charges.
"All in favor of conviction of assault?" Bones asked again.
More than half of the freaks raised their sticks and Bones looked to be barely concealing her joy. "Guilty." She stated happily. The freak took a deep breath and looked around at her fellow gamot members again. "All in favor of conviction for wrongful imprisonment?"
Most of the members raised their sticks once more and Bones happily declared Dudley guilty again. "We will now go into private session and you all will learn of the outcome soon," Bones announced to the group of freaks, Petunia, Dudley, and Vernon.
Five minutes later everyone was back in the courtroom. "We have decided." A man declared. He and the freak next to him looked quite annoyed with the proceedings. "Some of us feel your crimes are more severe than others." He said, looking pointedly at Bones. "Some others," he puffed his chest out. "Think you should be let off. But the minister's opinion doesn't matter apparently." He declared imploringly, glaring at Bones.
Bones rolled her eyes and turned back to the courtroom. "We have decided that Mr. Dursley will be a trustee for the next five summers."
Petunia didn't have any idea what that was.
Nor apparently did Dudley. "What the hell is a trustee?"
"Language, Mr. Dursley." Bones reprimanded. "And a trustee is one who brings supplies from the mainland to Azkaban prison via broom." She informed him.
Dudley nodded, he looked like he wanted to argue but two freak police led him out of the room before he could get the words out.
"Next. the trial of Petunia Dursley nee Evans." rang out the voice of Bones.
