We couldn't help but groan the day had gone so well, everything was boring and it seemed as if the bullies wouldn't show up, but we were wrong they came back and there were a lot more of them.

They didn't like that we distracted them and they wanted to teach us a lesson on how civilians were meant to keep their heads down. I'm not going to lie we all had a small bit of hope that the teachers would stop what was going to happen but they just walked past us and ignored us.

There wasn't a fight and we couldn't run away no matter how hard we tried, the bastards didn't even bother closing the gate to keep us from trying to escape.

In the end, we had no other choice but to look for the only person we knew who was unliked by everyone in the village and would not want to help us unless we bribed her. Luckily for us, she was eating sweets in front of one of the stores that we usually walk past.

We weakly walked in front of Anko and offered to buy her all of the candy she wanted if she trained us before she told us to go away. With no other option, we began to explain the reason why we were asking her.

"So that's what happening." We said to Anko who ate the sweets we offered her while she looked at the people walking past us.

"Alright I'll do it, I'll teach you but I won't teach you anything. If I did that I would be forced to explain why I didn't inform anyone that I took you as my students." She says to use it before she grabs another piece of candy and bites into it.

"What you kids need is to get stronger, technikes and skills are good but they can only get you so far. I'll help you get strong enough to fight back and I'll make you brats fast enough so that you can get back at them but that's it."

We all looked at each other before nodding at her our faces showed the smiles we had now that someone finally decided to help us. And yet there was something in the woman's eyes, something that made us worry about what she planned to do to us.

We followed behind her as she led us to a training ground where the grass was overgrown, and a couple of animals were eating grass, those same animals ran away when they noticed us.

"Okay, so what do we do?" I ask her before Anko summons a lot of chains and ties them to our arms, legs, waist, and shoulders. The chains dig themselves into the ground.

"Not much you just need to pull the grass with your hands and as a reward you can keep whatever you find.' she answers me, her voice sounding strangely calm as she bites into another piece of candy.

I can't help but feel as if we made a mistake by giving her the bag before she trained us.

I try to move but no matter how hard I try I can't, I turn to look at everyone else and they aren't able to move either.

"Those chains aren't that deep." Anko says to us before she grabs one of the chains and pulls it out of the ground.

"See how weak you are, the weakest in the academy can do this much with no effort. That's your mark, you kids have to get to that level so move." she says to us.

Just trying to bend my legs or even move in any direction is exhausting, I turn to look at everyone else and we silently agree to use our powers. We slowly bull ourselves to the ground, the sound of the chains dragging through the dirt.

The chains on my hands felt heavier than the ones on my waist and shoulders as I tried to move my hands and pull the first hand full of dirt. I turn to look at the others and they're struggling just as much as I am.

I don't know how long I tried to move I just know that the sun is starting to set, somewhere along the line I stopped paying attention to what the others were doing, and concentrated on pulling handfuls of grass from the ground.

I can't move anymore I can only watch as Anko walks up to me and unties the chains, the moment the chains are gone the weight on my body is gone too and I feel myself regain some of my energy.

"I won't be here every day, so you'll have to train when I'm not with you." Anko says to us before she vanishes.

I slowly turned and lay my head on the dirt, I didn't move more than a few steps the lines where the chains dug showed how far I moved, while the area around me was nothing more than loose dirt and grass.

Normally a person would say that I did a good job, but it's just the area where I was standing in and we still have an entire field to clean.

I'm too tired to even talk so I close my eyes and concentrate on my energy moving it through the air and the ground until it reaches the others, who are so exhausted that they don't react to it.

"Did we make a mistake?" I ask them. and I'm eminently answered with the distant voices of people groaning.

"Maybe I won't get into trouble if I take a nap and get home late." Rio the six eyes user answers me. The others laugh while groaning inside their minds, but none of us make any noise that anyone listening would be able to hear.

"Those chains weren't just chains." Tia the Siphonic user says to us, that her powers helped her take and control other people's energy so if the chains were special she would know.

"Maybe we made a mistake when we used our powers?' Alan the Alpha Stigma user says to us.

I wanted to say yes but if we had then Anko would have reacted after seeing us move but she didn't, meaning that what we did might have been common, and if it was it wasn't anything worth noticing.

I was about to say something when I realized that someone was standing next to me, it was one of the ambu his face was hidden behind the white rabbit mask and I could only see his eyes that didn't show any emotion.

"hey." I said to him and I can't believe how exhausted my voice sounded.

"Go home." he says to me.

I try to stand up but I'm too tired and my body doesn't answer. I can hear the others trying to move but none of them do. The ambu doesn't move he just stands next to us as the sun goes down and he walks behind us when we finally gain enough strength to move.

The walk back to our houses was longer than it ever was and just getting home took all of our energy.

I didn't even manage to get into my bed, I just opened the door to my room and fell unconscious, normally I would contact the others and try to see if they were okay but I didn't have the strength to do it this time.
