Dumbeldore's Meeting:

Albus Dumbledore felt annoyed. How dare Potter and Granger disobey me? Albus was always right, that was what the entire point of all Potter's adventures had been!

If Albus had known his plans would backfire, he wouldn't have stolen the stone from Nicolas. He also would have killed the basilisk himself and cleared Black's name. He wouldn't have forced Potter to compete in that competition either!

Honestly, life would have been so much easier if Potter had just hailed Albus as his savior.

The old man was broken from his musings at the final arrival for that night's meeting: McGonagall.

"Sorry I was late Albus, I had students to tend to," the witch apologized.

Albus waved his hand at her dismissively, there was no reason to show the annoyance he was feeling. "Let's get this meeting started."

Everybody nodded and Albus turned to Snape, "What has Voldemort been up to?"

The man shook his head. "I have not been called for several weeks."

Albus nodded, but he was internally annoyed. When Voldemort doesn't call him, Snape is completely useless. At least Black offers his house.

"What about the ministry, Nymphadora, Kingsley, Alastor?" He asked.

Tonks glared at Albus, "It's Tonks."

Albus ignored her and turned to Shacklebolt.

"Delores Umbridege, the senior under secretary to the minister, is planning something, but I don't know what it is."

Albus sighed, it was news at least. "Alastor?"

"She is a foul woman, I still don't understand why you allow her to teach," Moody growled.

Albus sighed. "I understand, but I need someone close to the minister so I can find out his plans," he explained for what felt like the millionth time.

"Alright," Moody agreed.

Albus nodded and turned to Fletcher, Tonks, and Jones. "Have any of you located Harry and Hermione?"

Fletcher shook his head. "I waited outside the Granger residence, and I saw them leave."

Albus cocked his head to the side. "How long will they be gone for?"

Fletcher shook his head again. "They were carrying a lot of bags and seemed to be following someone invisible, they walked around the corner and they seemed to have disapperated."

"When did they leave?" Albus asked, Potter and Granger obviously haven't learned to apperate yet, but it was likely they were together now.

"I dunno, about two or three weeks ago."

Albus sighed. "Why did you not inform me of this earlier?"

The man shrugged, greatly irritating Albus.

"Nymphadora, where were you stationed?"

Tonks looked up, "The Dursleys have not left their homes for any suspicious reason, and I have not seen Harry," she gritted out.

"Hestia?"

The woman shook her head. "I have checked Diagon Alley, he was nowhere to be found."

Albus tried not to show any of his anger. Why can no one find Potter?

"Minerva, can you send the Hogwarts letters out tonight?"

McGonagall looked startled, "It's only 10 July…"

"I want to read the letters to Harry and Hermione, they must be found."

Minerva sighed, "Fine, but the letters don't usually get sent out until at least the twenty-fifth."

Albus shook his head, "Just let me see the letters by tomorrow morning."

The woman nodded tiredly and Albus stood up. "Arthur, take the shift tonight while I go check the Grangers'."

Weasley nodded and Albus apperated straight out of the room, not even slipping on his cloak.

"Alohomora," Albus unlocked the door with a wave of his wand.

"Accio passports." Albus knew that if the Grangers' passports were in their home, it was more likely than not that they were taken to the youngest Granger and Potter.

One black book flew to Albus and he identified it as Hermione's. Damn. It didn't mean they didn't disappear though.

Albus headed up the stairs to the elder Grangers' room and opened the door.

Checking the desk, Albus saw what he was looking for: A letter written from the child Granger to her parents.

Mum and Dad,

I am not going to say too much in this letter in case Professor Dumbledore finds it, but Harry and I are safe. I am not going to say where, but you can join us if you wish to. An order member, not the one that was here with Harry, will take you to our residence.

I recommend burning this letter, taking your passports, and telling the neighbors you are leaving so the less trustworthy members of the order don't get too suspicious.

Your loving daughter,

Hermione

Albus honestly felt bad for Granger, she had told her parents to burn the letter, but they obviously felt they were in no danger.

Casting a quick spell, Albus found himself, Severus Snape, Dan Granger, Emma Granger, Hermione Granger, Harry Potter, Nymphadora Tonks, and Minerva McGonagall had been the most recent occupants in the house.

So Snape, and likely Tonks, knew where Potter and the Grangers were staying. Interesting.

The man sighed and composed his own letter to Snape, he needed to check Spinner's End without the man knowing.

Severus,

I need to talk to you in my office immediately. Minerva will be there but I will not just yet. I have something to take care of first, so have Minerva explain the situation to you.

I will be back in my office in about half an hour, which should be enough time for Minerva to explain the situation.

Albus

"Fawkes," Albus called his phoenix, "Take this straight to Snape and return here as soon as he leaves.

The phoenix nodded and disappeared in a burst of flame.

Albus only had to wait about five minutes before Fawkes reappeared and he was safe to enter Snape's home. The man had wards up but they were not too big of a deal due to Albus' magical strength.

"Accio letters." Three letters came flying to Albus and he grabbed them.

He was surprised to see McGonagall's handwriting, but there it was, clear as day.

Unfortunately, it didn't help much. All it did was show that Snape and Tonks, as well as McGonagall, were helping Potter and Granger. Although it also shows why Snape agreed to help Potter in the first place.

Potter's letter also did not help much. Obviously the boy had visited Gringotts and found the Potter rings, but Potter could not have gotten married as he was only fourteen and was in no relationship.

Granger's letter was amusing, Albus had been wondering what stopped Skeeter from writing about Potter, but this was not one of the scenarios he imagined. I could always blackmail Granger into coming to Grimmauld Place with this knowledge of her unlawful tactics…

Albus sighed and threw some powder into the floo. "Tonks manor."

"Hello Andromeda," Albus greeted Tonks.

The witch jumped and swiveled around. "What are you doing here, Albus?"

"Is your daughter home?"

Tonks nodded. "I'll get her."

Albsu nodded and a moment later both female Tonks descended the stairs.

"You wanted to see me, Albus?" Tonks asked.

Albus nodded. "Will you return to Hogwarts with me?"

The auror looked at him suspiciously. "Why?"

"I need to talk to you, Minerva, and Severus about something."

The words had an immediate effect, Tonks' face turned white and she took a step back. "I am not going to tell you."

Albus rolled his eyes. "You didn't even try to deny it."

She shook her head, "Obviously you know."

Albus nodded. "I do, and I wish to speak to you, Minerva, and Severus together."

"Fine."

Albus nodded and followed Tonks through the floo to his office.

"Hello all," Albus greeted his two professors and Tonks.

Snape was looking stonily back, a skill he had gained from being both a spy and a master occlumence. McGonagall was looking at Tonks worriedly, who was staring back with a defeated look on her face.

"Where are Harry and Hermione?" Albus asked, not even trying to hide the agitation on his face.

Snape looked him in the eye, obviously not worried about mind attacks. Both McGonagall and Tonks were obviously avoiding Albus' eye, afraid of legilimency.

"Accio Harry Potter and Hermione Granger's Hogwarts letters." One letter came flying at Albus, it was Potter's.

"I have not gotten to writing Granger's yet," McGonagall explained, still avoiding eye contact.

Albus nodded and looked at Potter's envelope. "Why is there no address?" He asked angrily.

Both Tonks' and McGonagall's eyes shot up and they grabbed the letter.

"It's right there," Tonks said, confused.

Albus looked down again.

Mr. H. Potter

Master Bedroom

England

"The wards must not allow him to see the address, similar to the fidelius charm," Snape said, taking the letter from McGonagall's hands.

"Well then you must tell me where Harry is," Albus said, "Legilimens!"

There was nothing there. All Albus could see over and over were the words 'Potters' home,' but he knew it couldn't be Potter manor because Granger wasn't related to the Potters and it was impossible they got married.

Albus pulled out of McGonagall's mind, quite confused. "Who is the secret keeper?"

Snape raised a hand. "It is I, as no one else is an occulmence."

Albus nodded. "Please tell me where Potter and Granger are, they are in danger."

Snape laughed. "No."

And with that, the three wixen walked to Albus' floo and disappeared.
