A.N. Hello, thinking about this story again, so I better write before I forget.
In total, I have a total of 37 original Pokemon teams for various people. I changed some teams for some Pokemon characters. They may not make sense, but good lord, I love the strats I have thought up for these teams!
No use in apologising, y'all can probably see that I will not be posting on a regular schedule. More than likely, I can post every 2 months at least now.
Thank you to Despair33, Cedric634, Ninja-kid27, matthewmccall66, Cgking26, dragonking88, ideal man, Captain Cranch, BeastOfTheEast, Black Wind V2, and Insomniac Nai for following and/or favoriting this story! That really means a lot to me, a lot more than probably even I know.
SO… without further ado, please enjoy Whirlpool Trainer - Voodoo Child!

"Uh, do you, like, any family I can bring you to?" Shizune asked. She… really didn't know how to help the kid right now, but she was pretty sure that bringing a rambunctious kid to a hungover Tsunade was a recipe for disaster of the highest degree.
They were both walking away from the, uh… pathetic, as Naruto had put it, scene. A single man tried to stand up and fight against the kid, but Naruto just started walking a little faster… which had completely outpaced the guy.
"Eh, not right now, their, uh… working," Naruto answered with a small bit of hesitation. "Yeah, working."
Looking down at the kid, Shizune didn't know whether to laugh or sigh at the attempt to conceal his apparent lie, which was to look away, hunch his previously proud shoulders, and the various other anxious behaviors he had.
'Might be a bad sign,' Shizune thought with a little worry, before shaking her head a little. 'Too early to tell, Shizune, don't just assume.'
"Well, I mean, I just could bring to where I left Lady Tsumade to try and help you," Shizune muttered, yet after a few minutes of silence and walking, she felt like she had eaten a ball of lead. The more she thought about it, the more the idea of introducing Naruto to Tsunade sounded like a REALLY bad idea. Maybe she could, uh, divert the path?
'Where would we go, where could we- ah, right!' Shizune thought quickly.
"Uh, so, are you sure you're okay after the chase you had? Maybe we should go to the pokemon-"
"I already told you, I'm fine! Believe it!" Naruto pouted, crossing his arms in a frustrated fashion. "That little race is nothing."
"Nothing compared to what?"
"Well, Shinnn-nope!"
"Uh…" Shizune looked entirely perplexed. "What?"
"Sorry, my, uh, dad? Uh, yeah, my, my dad says that I always speak before I think." Naruto explained quickly with a small chuckle, hoping Shizune would accept it.
With a puzzle coming together in her mind, Shizune smiled and said, "That reminds me of one my senpai back in-"
"WAIT, ARE-" Shaking his furiously, Naruto gestured for her to lean over before leaning conspiratorially towards her ear, whispering, "Are you from the Hidden Region?
Shizune felt the blood leave her face as the words registered in her head, the previous smile plastered on. 'How had this kid figured it out so quickly?' Shizune thought in shock, blinking as if in confusion at the kid's statement.
"Nuh uh, you can't fool me! Nobody else would ever use the word senpai, they don't know what it is?"
"Why do you know what a senpai is?"
"Hey, I'm asking the questions here. Did Jiji send you here to take me back?"
"No? I'm not certain, but it's probably no."
"Wait, what country are you from?" Naruto asked in suspicion.
'Even asking for a country… Do I be honest?' Shizune thought with worry. '… I won't be in too much trouble if I beat up a kid, right? Especially if he threatens me.
'Oh, wait, or maybe-'
"Ahem." Shizune paled at the sound of a clearing throat. It appears she was too late to change their path forward.
"Oh, uh, Lady Tsunade, sorry that took so long, just, uh-"
"Hey! Don't interrupt us, you bumbling old hag, we're having a conversation here! Shoo, shoo!"
The emotions of horror and humor washed over Shizune in an instant as a single thought came to mind. 'Well, the kid had guts…
at least for now, that is.'
~ Naruto's POV ~
Naruto watched in confusion as the old woman began to straighten, her squinting eyes glaring at him with the rage of a thousand suns and shaking hands forming a death grip as-
'HOLY MOTHER OF MEW, SHE DID TELEPORT?! How is she holding me up?!"
"What did you call, you little bastard-!"
"Lady Tsunade, this may not be the best time-"
"Can it, Shizune."
"But what did we say about making a scene?"
"I told you to… to…" The now maybe not as old, but still pretty old looking woman looked around at the forming crowd, before she grunted with a shake of frustration, and dropped hik unceremoniously. "Consider yourself lucky brat."
But Naruto felt something. If there was one thing he could maybe somewhat respect, it was strength. Of course, though, there was only to truly appreciate strength, and that to-
"Fight me!"
Silence hung heavy in the streets before uproarious laghterous, bright and malicious, entered the mind's of many as they could only pray this devilish woman spared this poor child.
Turning, the woman turned to Naruto, "Do you know who I am?"
"I don't know, and I don't care, just fight me!"
"I will only fight you-"
"I'll do it!"
"... Let me finish- were you just going to agree to whatever just to have a battle?"
"Well, I mean, not whatever-"
"Okay, brat, just shut your mouth, and fight my apprentice Shizune here."
"... That's it?"
"Do you want more?"
"I'll take the deal! We shake on it!"
"This is what I get for thinking straight again?"
~ Shizune's POV ~
"Lady Tsunade, if I may be so bold…" Shizune murmured with a tired sigh."Why are we… just going with this?"
"Honestly, I'm not too sure about that myself. Though I have a small hunch, and a battle is the only way to prove it."
"... what is your hunch, if I may ask?"
"Eh, spoilers. I can't have you know too much… though you do kind of know the answers. Eh, I don't know, you'll figure it.Yourself smart enough."
"... I thank you for your compliments, Lady Tsunade."
"Yeah, yeah, just give the kid a good kick in the rear. He deserves it after all he's said."
"I don't know if it'll be that easy."
"... Shizune. He's a kid. Though if I am right, then you're probably right by extension. Eh, still a kid though."
"Are you two going to keep talking or are we gonna fight?!"
They had found themselves on a beat up battlefield, the once solid dirt floor now soft sand due to the hundreds, possibly thousands of Pokèmon battles that happened right here.
Okay, doubles or singles?" Shizune asked.
"What are you better at?" Naruto asked back.
"Doubles."
"Doubles it is! That way you can't whine when I beat you!"
"Your funeral, brat. Well, I want a nice and fair battle. No dirty tricks from both sides."
"What would you consider a cheap trick?"
Both Lady Tsunade and Shizune could only stare at Naruto in sheer disbelief of the question. "There's no way in hell he's that stupid, right?" Tsunade asked incredulously.
"I can hear you, lady!"
"Shut up!"
"Make me!"
"Ooh, I'll make you-" Tsunade started, trying to march towards Naruto, a shit eating grin plastered on his face as he watched Shizune hold the probably not that old lady back. "Hey! Let go, this brat gotta learn right fuc-mhmhh!"
"Lady Tsunade, please mind your manners. We are representing the Elemental Countries on our excursion here," Shizune whispered.
"Nobody but us knows, it's fine," Tsuande pouted.
"But the kid does know something. He asked me where I was from in the Elemental Countries."
"... Shizune, why in the Distortion have you decided to not tell me until now?"
"There wasn't a good time, plus, I had barely got asked the question before you arrived."
"... so," Tsunade began, " you beat the crap-
"Crud."
"-out of this little shitstain of a boy, then we question him?"
Shizune sighed. "He… is just a boy, Lady Tsunade."
"Uchiha Itachi, Subaku no Gaara, Momochi Zabuza, Hatake Kakashi, hell me. Take your pick, Shizune. From what I'm understanding, he can figure out that you were from the elemental countries, and asked you from where based on a brief conversation he had with you, he obviously has had some training. We can't be too cautious here."

A.N. OH MY LORD, IT'S FINALLY FINISH. Man, I have been feeling like shit, and I have finally found the energy to write! Brilliant, it only took two months to write this chapter from beginning to end!
And yes, I know there wasn't much focus on Pokèmon in this chapter… nor the previous, but this coming chapter will most definitely have Pokèmon! I just needed this chapter out because Great Arceus Above, it was only sitting in my notes.
Again, am I so sorry this took so stupidly long, just dealing with family stuff, and that's always fun…
Anyways, that's for reading, and I hope you found yourself in a happier place!
