Author's Note: Hello again! I've gotten some excellent feedback from the last chapter, so I'll answer it here.

Things like gases and other weapons for Momo to make are a good idea, and I have them in mind already. Momo was actually supposed to use thermite grenades against Todoroki last chapter, until I remembered that thermite reacts a LOT with ice, and that it was potentially lethal in the best of circumstances.

For an idea on what I'm considering for Momo, one of my ideas for her is to be able to make a fully working metal power suit akin to Iron Might from her Quirk. She can already make the materials, she just needs to make the computer, but that can be miniaturized and carried on her person.

She could theoretically make the computer too, and would just have to carry something for the programming, simplifying it more.

Also, according to a retcon by Horikoshi, Momo CAN make organic material, it can't just be living material like humans. But, also according to Horikoshi, Momo can make food, which would mean she can make the pieces to make a living creature, like cells, skin, bones, and other things, she just can't bring it to life.

And in extension with the whole "absorbing foreign materials as long as it's connected to her" thing from a few chapters ago, it would mean Momo could theoretically absorb complete ass humans or other living things for material, or, in a less horrifying vein, create new cells to heal herself from injury.

Marvin mentioned a "Stabilization mechanic" for Momo's creations that stopped her from reabsorbing foreign materials easily, but if she can get rid of that effect, it'll open up even more doors.

The stabilization stops her from manipulating the atoms in something she's made, but removing that means she could either reabsorb the material or manipulate the atoms in it to change it to something else.

Since her creations are atomically identical to normal material, it would mean she could do the same for foreign material.

Essentially, Momo could theoretically push her Quirk to be like Overhaul's, along with her original power, making her capable of creating and manipulating matter almost unlimitedly.

Yeah… I have PLANS for Momo. Same thing with Izuku and Marvin, they're all going to be so utterly OP that it's insane. Combine that power with combat skill, mastery of their Quirks, excellent teamwork, and high intelligence, and you realize why most of the MHA villains will essentially be cannon fodder.

Though, again, getting Momo to that point is still the issue. I'm thankful for the suggestions, and I'll take them into account, but yeah, pretty intense.

Anyway, I apologize for the long Note, just had a lot to say lol. I'll make a more detailed analysis of Izuku's potential in the future, like I did here with Momo, but only once he and Marvin have been separated, since that'll cause a few changes.

Enjoy the chapter!

.

The second to last match went quickly since Izuku had learned what Shinso's Quirk did from Tsuyu, and had decidedly ignored Shinso's attempt to brainwash him.

Now, Momo shifted nervously as Izuku returned to the stands with Iida, biting her lip.

"Are you alright?" Izuku asked, sitting down beside her.

Momo sighed. "I'm just… nervous? We're going to fight each other."

"And Iida and Uraraka," Izuku added. "It's a free-for-all, remember?"

Momo gave him a look and was tempted to say how irrelevant they were at the moment. To her, the only thing that mattered right now was Izuku, more than anything, and especially more than the Festival.

But she withheld herself, knowing that saying it would probably result in Izuku taking it the wrong way.

Instead, she nodded. "Yes, but we have more training than they do. It's logical to assume we'd be the last two standing."

Izuku stared at her for a moment, a quizzical look on his face.

"I won't be mad at you if you win," He told her after a few seconds. "I'll be happy for you. You're… You're my friend, after all."

Momo coughed and looked away, an odd sinking feeling in her chest and small tears welling in her eyes.

'Why am I reacting like this?' She asked herself. 'We ARE just friends. That's all we are, good friends, yes, but still friends.'

Her self-reprimand didn't help matters and a knot formed in her throat at the thought.

"Are you alright?" Izuku asked, lightly patting her on the back.

Momo nodded quickly. "Yes, yes. Just… Just swallowed wrong. It's fine, Izuku."

She got up quickly, brushing her clothes clean of imaginary dust.

"I better go to my tunnel. They're going to call us soon," Momo said, beginning to walk away.

"But we still have a few minutes!" Izuku called lightly, but Momo simply increased her pace.

'Is she ok?' He asked internally, only to hear Marvin groan. 'What?'

'How are you somehow one of the smartest kids in your class, yet simultaneously as dumb as a sack of bricks?' Marvin sighed, rubbing his face. 'Figure it out on your own.'

Izuku blinked in confusion. 'Did I do something wrong? I– I didn't hurt her, did I?'

A pang went through his ribcage at that, and Izuku winced a bit.

'Not saying anything, but if Momo pushes you a bit more in this fight than normal, you deserve it,' Marvin told him.

'Wait, what? What do you mean?!' Izuku exclaimed. 'What did I DO?!'

'I'll tell you afterward, you're getting called,' Marvin replied, gesturing to the screen, which had changed to show the final four competitors.

Izuku descended into his tunnel slightly worried, wondering what exactly he'd done wrong. If Marvin, of all people, was telling him he'd messed up with something people-related, then Izuku knew he'd done something wrong.

'Ouch,' Marvin drawled, rolling his eyes. 'I appreciate your confidence in my people skills.'

'Sorry,' Izuku winced.

"Midoriya," Iida called as he approached, snapping Izuku from his thoughts. "I wish you luck in this round."

Izuku blinked. "Luck? But aren't you fighting too? Why are you wishing me luck?"

"Because I intend to win," Iida replied seriously.

"Oh, uhhh, ok," Izuku did a double take, unsure how to respond. "Well… I wish you luck too then."

Iida nodded. "One last thing, we will still be friends after this, correct? No matter who wins?"

Izuku looked even more shocked. "Of course! I'd never stop being your friend!"

"Thank you, Midoriya," Iida stated, turning to face the tunnel.

"FOR OUR FINAL MATCH!" Mic exclaimed a few seconds later. "WE HAVE FOUR MEMBERS OF CLASS A! Ladies, gentlemen, and everyone in between, give it up Tenya Iida, Izuku Midoriya, Ochaco Uraraka, and Momo Yaoyorozu!"

The four of them came out of their tunnels as Mic called their name, varying levels of cheering going around as they walked out.

Izuku fought down his nervousness as he climbed onto the arena, which had more than doubled in size from the last matches, trying to come up with a quick plan.

He stood with his back to his tunnel, with Iida on the left side, Uraraka on the right, and Momo opposite Izuku, her back to her tunnel.

Momo's face was carefully neutral to the untrained eye, though Izuku knew her well enough to tell she was anything but calm.

Her eyes never left him, and Izuku almost squirmed under the half-glare, giving her a nervous smile instead.

Momo's lip twitched at his obvious discomfort, but she quickly schooled her features again.

"Ready?! BEGIN!" Mic roared.

Momo sprung into motion, twisting from her position and jabbing her hand out towards Iida.

A staff rushed from her palm, and Iida jumped to the side to dodge.

"Woah! Looks like Yaoyorozu isn't playing around!" Mic exclaimed.

Izuku went for Uraraka, landing in front of her and blocking her attempt to touch him.

"Sorry, Uraraka," He said before pulling Uraraka in.

Izuku twisted, cleanly pulling Uraraka off her feet and throwing her across the arena into Iida.

Iida froze, stumbling as he caught Uraraka instead of moving away.

"Huh? A human projectile? That's new," Mic stated. "At least Midoriya is creative in how he fights."

"Reckless too," Aizawa added. "A throw like that could seriously injure someone if he isn't careful."

Momo suddenly turned from Iida and rushed Izuku, a staff forming from her palm.

Izuku jumped back, weaving through her follow-up strikes easily.

'She's not even moving faster than what she does during training,' Izuku muttered as he dodged. 'I thought she wanted to win.'

Izuku shifted his footing, shattering the staff with a quick jab before rushing forward.

He threw a punch, but Momo weaved into him, grabbing his fist and pulling.

She threw her head back as he moved forward before headbutting him hard.

Izuku blinked in shock, stumbling back somewhat from the hit.

"Sorry, not sorry," She said before activating her Quirk.

A column of metal tore through her shirt, rushing at Izuku faster than it did during their training a few weeks ago.

Izuku's eyes widened, and he dug his feet into the ground as the column hit him.

The concrete cracked under him from the force, and an ear-splitting clang rang out.

Momo continued pushing the metal out and jumped, sending herself flying to the other end of the arena.

She landed beside Iida just as he pushed Uraraka out of bounds with his speed.

"Uraraka is out!" Mic exclaimed. "And someone else might be out next soon!"

Momo landed and hit Iida in the jaw with a newly created staff, putting most of her momentum into it.

Iida's head snapped back, and he staggered away from the blow.

Momo hit him in the knee, causing him to buckle, before spinning and kicking Iida in the side of the head.

Iida staggered away and Momo rushed him, setting off a flashbang in his face.

Izuku readjusted himself, throwing the column at them with one arm.

Momo jumped back and dropped, letting Iida get hit and sent flying out of bounds.

"And Iida is out! Yaoyorozu is ruthless!" Mic exclaimed. "Shota, are you sure they didn't take any pages from your book?"

"If they did, I didn't know until now," Aizawa replied, genuinely impressed at Momo's skill.

Momo turned to Izuku, batting several flashbangs and smoke grenades his way.

Izuku dodged around them, knowing better than to strike them.

He moved forward, staying just out of range of Momo's staff.

Momo threw the staff like a spear and rushed him as he dodged, creating a flashbang in each palm.

She clapped in Izuku's face, setting off both flashbangs point-blank.

It was only Marvin taking over and closing Izuku's eyes that stopped him from being blinded, and even then, Izuku still saw spots as he opened his eyes.

He dropped back, keeping a guard up as his vision recovered.

'First and last time I'm helping you,' Marvin yawned. 'I'm heading into one of your memories and taking a nap, call me if you need something.'

Momo rushed him again, creating a thick cable that she swung at his legs.

The cable grabbed Izuku by the knee, and Momo pulled it in, offsetting Izuku's balance.

Momo kneed him in the chest, and Izuku jumped back, ripping through the cable carelessly.

"I thought… I thought we agreed not to go all out?" Izuku half-asked as he dodged another attack.

"I just wanted to test out some new attacks," Momo answered. "Sorry."

Izuku moved with Momo's strike, weaving under it before popping back up.

He shattered her staff with a single blow and stepped back, dropping his hands.

"Ok, wait, time out," Izuku told her right before Momo attacked again.

"Can't. Live event, remember?" Momo half-asked as she created another staff and swung down on his head.

Izuku side-stepped, catching the swing and yanking the staff out of Momo's hands.

"Yeah… but can't we slow down for a moment?" He asked, snapping the staff like a twig.

"For? You're not hurt, are you?" Momo asked, creating a large sword.

"Well… no, but I want to ask you something," Izuku replied as he dodged Momo's swings.

Momo jumped back and slammed her hand onto the ground, releasing a thick cloud of smoke that covered the arena.

"What did you want to ask?" She asked, stepping up to him. "The smoke will only hold for a minute or two."

"Why are you being so aggressive?" Izuku asked softly. "You hit Iida hard, and that double flashbang was super cool, but also not like you at all. Are you ok?"

"I'm perfectly fine," Momo replied, brushing some hair from her face. "I don't know what you mean?"

Momo made to dispel the smoke, but Izuku gently grabbed her wrist.

"I'm sorry," He told her softly. "If I said or did something to make you upset, I'm sorry. But can you at least tell me what it is I did? I don't want to hurt you, Momo."

Momo didn't respond, simply taking a deep breath.

"Momo, I–"

"I love you, ok?" She snapped. "I– I really do, Izuku–"

"IT SEEMS LIKE THE CLOUD OF SMOKE IS OBSCURING THE FIGHT," Mic exclaimed, shocking the both of them out of their moment. "All Might, if you would be so kind, could you please clear the smoke?"

"We'll talk later," Momo snapped, jumping back.

She littered the ground with flashbangs as All Might threw his punch, and Izuku's eyes widened.

The arena exploded with light, sound, and wind, and even the people in the stands had to cover their eyes from the effect.

"Woah… if anyone can put on a light show, it's Yaoyorozu," Mic said, rubbing his eyes. "Damn, talk about blinding."

As the crowd recovered their vision, Izuku fell through the air, having leaped over the flashbangs just a moment before.

He twisted and kicked the air as he neared the ground, canceling his momentum before landing relatively gently.

No sooner had he landed when Momo reached him, armed with a sword and shield.

Izuku kept his footing light as he dodged, taking care to stay just out of range of the blade.

Momo slashed down and overshot, messing up her balance from the strike.

Izuku managed to grab the sword and throw it away, though his motion pulled Momo upright again.

Momo lashed out with her shield, and Izuku ducked under it, fist ready to counter.

A canister dropped from Momo's shield hand, wrapping Izuku in a thick net as he moved.

Izuku blinked at the net's surprising sturdiness, which actually took him a moment to break even with One for All.

Momo dropped as Izuku broke free, covering her body with her shield.

"Yaoyorozu seems to have dropped!" Mic exclaimed. "Did our favorite creator finally succumb to exhaustion?!"

Izuku stepped away, more than slightly nervous.

Momo jumped up again, throwing the shield at him as she jumped back, earmuffs on her head.

Izuku caught the shield, only to immediately drop it as an ear-splitting shrieking filled the air.

He winced at the sound, and Momo tossed another handful of sound grenades at him immediately after.

Izuku moved away quickly, his ears ringing from the sound.

Even still, he heard the loud clang of metal hitting concrete and turned, eyes widening slightly.

A large cannon stood beside Momo, aimed directly at him, with Momo having a wicked grin on her face.

A resounding boom sounded as the cannonball flew at him faster than sound, but Izuku didn't dodge it.

Instead, he pushed One for All to his maximum safe capacity and caught it out of the air, the concrete under him becoming dust from the force.

Momo's eyes widened as Izuku pitched it like a baseball, and she leaped away as he hit the cannon, sending it flying out of the arena.

"MIDORIYA JUST THREW A CANNON OUT OF THE ARENA!" Mic exclaimed. "If– If I wasn't seeing it with my own eyes, I wouldn't believe it! Just how strong is he?"

'Ok… Really didn't think that through,' Izuku winced at the ache in his wrists. 'At least I didn't break anything doing that. That would've been embarrassing.'

He leaped forward, slower than usual, reaching Momo who'd already created another weapon.

"You're crazy, you know that?" She hissed as she swung, though slower than her other hits.

"I just thought it would look cool," Izuku admitted sheepishly.

Momo's lips twitched. "I didn't think you would want to hurt yourself with your Quirk."

"It doesn't hurt," Izuku countered as he blocked with one arm. "You've done a lot of impressive things in the Festival, I'm just trying to keep up."

Momo gave him a warm smile before she jumped back, rubbing her arm.

"We should end this soon," She told him. "I'm getting tired, and it's only us left."

"But who should win?" Izuku asked, batting away the staff Momo had thrown. "We haven't figured that out yet."

Momo shrugged. "Frankly, I don't care. I'm proud of myself for making it this far, so even if you win, I won't mind."

She created several small knives that she launched his way.

Izuku dodged most of them, not wanting to risk catching or shattering one because of the ache in his wrists.

"Are you sure?" He asked as the last one flew past.

Momo nodded. "Just make it quick please."

Izuku exploded forward, carefully grabbing Momo and moving her out of bounds.

"IZUKU MIDORIYA IS THE WINNER!" Mic exclaimed as the crowd cheered. "Ladies and gentlemen, I think that was the closest match of this entire Festival!"

Momo smiled warmly, and Izuku felt himself smiling back, the sounds of the stadium drowning out around them.

Recovery Girl quickly examined both, who determined they had nothing a good sleep couldn't fix.

"Finally," She mumbled as she finished checking them. "A pair of teens that doesn't have some big injury because of their stubbornness. I think it'll snow in a desert tonight."

She sent them on their way after Momo made herself a new top, simply congratulating Izuku for winning the fight, along with Momo for coming in second.

All Might gave out the awards soon after, and Izuku felt himself flush as the Pro put the heavy gold metal around his neck.

All Might quickly put a silver metal around Momo's neck and a bronze one on Iida, who had a band-aid on his jaw from Momo's hit.

The final speech ended far later than Momo would've wanted, but eventually, they were let go as the Festival concluded.

"We really won," Izuku said softly as they walked, far slower than usual.

"I think you mean you won," Momo smiled, nudging him a little.

Izuku flushed at that and nodded meekly. "Yeah… I– I really did."

He stopped in the middle of the hallway, fiddling idly with the medal.

"Momo… during the match… did you really–"

"Yes," Momo replied calmly, knowing what he was going to say.

"I– I do love you," She said in a slight rush, feeling her face heat up. "I knew since… well, since that day when we were under that tree and talked. I don't know… something about it… I– I don't think I fell in love with you then though…"

"Oh?" Izuku asked. "Really?"

Momo shook her head. "No… I realized it then… but I think– I think I've always loved you, Izuku. I think…"

She stopped as she realized that Izuku was right in front of her now, avoiding her eyes nervously.

Momo blinked, she hadn't even realized she'd moved.

She hesitated for a moment before reaching out, cupping his face, and making him look at her.

"Izuku, I– I don't want to just be friends," She said in a rush.

Izuku froze as Momo's lips touched his, his eyes widening as his face exploded in a blush.

Near-painful heat rushed through his body like One for All had activated at 100%, and his heartbeat was like a machine gun against his ribs.

All too soon, it was over, with Momo pulling back and staring at him, looking heartbroken that Izuku hadn't returned the kiss.

Momo made to step back. "Oh, I– I'm sorry, I just–"

Izuku snapped out of his shock and lightly grabbed her shirt, his hand shaking.

"Momo… I love you too," He whispered, his head bowed and eyes closed. "I didn't realize it before, but… when you said it back there, it felt– I felt like I was invincible."

Izuku's grip on her shirt tightened a bit, even though Momo hadn't made a move.

"I knew it when you said it… I knew I felt the same way," Izuku told her. "B–But I can't just let that stay there… not when I feel like everything will be better whenever I look at you, not when I feel like I could take on the world if it meant I saw you smile at me throughout the way…"

He took a deep, shaky breath as tears slowly rolled down his face.

"M–Momo, I–I love you, and I don't think... I wouldn't be me if it wasn't for you," Izuku whispered, looking up. "Will you– Will you be my girlfriend?"

Momo's shock at being asked actually overrode her enthusiasm at the question for a moment, and all she could do was nod dumbly, mouth agape.

Izuku beamed at her, and Momo felt the all too familiar butterflies return, which snapped her out of her shock.

She moved forward and kissed him again, her arms around his shoulders as she leaned in.

Izuku managed to respond slightly this time, closing his eyes and pushing back slightly against her lips.

His arms slowly made their way around her waist, and Momo's breath quickened at the contact.

She pushed deeper into him, her breasts pressed against his chest.

Momo's hands trailed down his back, easily feeling Izuku's muscles through the cloth of his shirt, much to her delight.

Izuku's hands subconsciously squeezed her waist tighter, and Momo felt a tingle shoot through her skin like an adrenaline shot.

They kissed until the need for air became unbearable, and they separated with a gasp as their lungs demanded air.

"That– That was–" Izuku coughed, stepping away from her

Momo nodded as she took gulps of air, her hands on her knees as she recovered.

Both their faces were flushed bright red as they took deep breaths, and they looked over at each other, laughing good-naturedly at each other.

"I'm pretty sure that's the clearest yes I could give, right?" Momo asked as she stood.

Izuku blushed a bit but nodded, a dorky smile on his face as he looked at her.

"You're so beautiful," He whispered, gently reaching out and taking her hand.

Momo smiled warmly at him before she noticed something behind him, her eyes flickering over.

"URARAKA!" She shrieked, her face exploding into a blush.

Izuku whipped around and his eyes widened as he saw Uraraka, Ashido, and Tsuyu leaning around the corner, with Uraraka and Ashido both holding up phones.

"We knew it!" Ashido exclaimed triumphantly, holding up the phone. "We knew you two were dating!"

Both Izuku and Momo turned bright red, but neither moved to separate nor let go of the other's hand.

Ashido snapped another picture with a large grin. "Why didn't you tell us, Yaomomo?! Here I was wondering how I'd manage to push you two to finally get together, but you two were dating the whole time?!

"Umm– Actually, I only just asked her to be my girlfriend," Izuku said meekly, rubbing his neck. "Like– a few minutes ago."

Momo nodded, managing to compose herself much quicker than Izuku.

"The kiss was my answer," She told them, causing Mina to squeal in excitement.

"So you actually took my advice?!" She asked Izuku, fully stepping out into the corridor. "I didn't think that would work!"

"Oh, well– um, I guess?" Izuku replied, still embarrassed. "She said she loved me and it just kind of slipped out."

"LOVE?!" Mina, Uraraka, and Tsu exclaimed simultaneously, making Izuku and Momo wince.

"Yaomomo, really?" Uraraka asked in slight shock.

Momo flushed a bit but nodded. "Yes. I love him, and he loves me too."

"We're proud of you, Yaomomo," Tsu added. "You too, Midoriya. At least it didn't take you several months of this to admit it, ribbit."

Izuku smiled before his brows furrowed. "Wait, why are you guys even here anyway? Where's everyone else?"

"Home, silly," Mina grinned. "We were about to head home too when All Might asked for you, we said we hadn't seen you but offered to look."

"And we stumbled on you two while you were kissing," Tsu said. "We didn't want to disturb you, ribbit. And Ashido wanted to take pictures."

'All Might? It must be about David Shield,' Izuku thought, his brows furrowing. 'I know he said after the Festival, but surely he can't mean RIGHT after the Festival, right?'

He nodded to them. "Thanks, I'll go find him before I leave."

"We'll go tell him to wait up," Uraraka told him before turning back, Tsu following her.

"We are so getting details later," Mina poked in Momo's direction before following.

Izuku sighed a bit in relief as they left, slightly squeezing Momo's hand.

Momo smiled and leaned against him, her head against his.

"I guess we're going to I-Island," Izuku muttered so only she would hear. "Me and Marvin, I mean."

Momo nodded before pausing. "Wait, speaking of, did he–"

"No," Izuku shook his head. "He went to sleep after you hit me with that double flashbang and still hasn't woken up."

Momo made a sound of understanding before she turned, wrapping her arms around his waist and resting her head against his shoulder.

"I love you," She murmured against his neck.

Izuku shivered slightly, his arms wrapping around her.

"I love you too."

Author's Note: And that's the chapter! Izuku and Momo are officially a couple now!

I wanted the build up to last longer but I honestly couldn't help myself. The whole 'just friends' bit kind of rolled out into this, and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.

Next chapter will be I-Island, Marvin, and Melissa. Not sure when Marvin will have a body, but I know it'll be before when the first movie takes place, so sometime during the school year for Izuku.

Only question being is that what will Marvin's Hero name be? I have his costume picked out, and I might draw it and show it on here if I have time, but I'm unsure on his hero name. I do plan for him to be an extremely protective hero, albeit one who doesn't mind killing.

Current runners for his hero name are: Supernova, Guardian, Lightbearer, Balance, Redirect, and Origin. I'm leaning more towards Supernova and Guardian, though Origin is more in line with what I have planned for his Quirk. I'm open to suggestions on this.

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this chapter and I'll see you all in the next one!
