"Woah! This is amazing, All Might!" Izuku said as he looked out the window of their plane.

I-Island was coming into view, and Izuku stared in awe at the massive research base, which looked better than any picture Izuku had seen of it.

"Indeed it is, Young Midoriya," All Might replied with a smile. "But trust me, it looks even better inside."

The plane they'd taken was very comfortable, suited to carry only a small amount of people, and currently only carried All Might and Izuku.

'Hopefully, we get off this death trap soon,' Marvin groaned, decidedly not looking out of the window.

'I still can't believe you're afraid of heights,' Izuku told him. 'I still can't believe you're afraid of ANYTHING for that matter.'

'People say I give off that feeling,' Marvin replied. 'I can feel fear, and I feel it quite a lot. I just shake it off when I can. And it's specifically extreme heights, like the several miles we're up in the air at the moment.'

Izuku had learned of one of Marvin's only true fears when they got onto the plane, and to say it'd shocked him was an understatement.

Marvin had gone on a mission with Rinai when he was 12, which had taken them into one of the orbiting bases the Hunters had.

They destroyed it, but the destruction had dropped Marvin from the base, making him plummet to Earth from orbit. He'd survived the fall but had been unconscious for a few hours after, and the fact it'd hurt him that badly had stuck with him.

They landed soon after that, and Izuku was freaking out somewhat at being in I-Island.

"Do you know how many scientists are here at I-Island?!" Izuku was saying, both verbally and mentally, as he looked around. "Any question you could have about Quirks, the answer's all here! It's incredible!"

The duo was almost immediately bombarded by fans recognizing All Might, though more than a few recognized Izuku from the Sports Festival, especially since it'd been so recent.

Marvin cringed at the amount of sound, and instinctively moved Izuku's body a step back.

Thankfully, All Might had more than enough experience with fans, and politely pushed past them, grabbing Izuku's arm and pulling him along.

They quickly reached a huge skyscraper in the middle of I-Island, and Izuku gaped at it.

"Woah… what is that?" He asked, turning to All Might.

All Might's smile widened. "The place where we'll be meeting David. He works in that building, along with his daughter."

He kept his hand on Izuku's shoulder as they walked into the building, silently telling the people around them that Izuku was with him, causing most to graciously leave them on their way.

Marvin jerked up in Izuku's mind, having been using his Factor to scan the area.

'Izuku,' He hissed. 'To your left, look discrete.'

Izuku tensed slightly and looked left, which caused All Might to shoot him a worried look.

'What is it?' Izuku asked, seeing nothing but more people, none really standing out to him.

'The guy in the black jacket, with a mask on his face,' Marvin pointed out a specific person. 'I just felt a huge spike in murderous intent from him.'

Izuku focused on the guy Marvin pointed out and frowned.

The man in question looked like an average citizen wearing the clothes Marvin described, with his only visible anomaly being his sharp and scaly ears.

But there was something, maybe it was Marvin's paranoia setting in, or maybe it was something else. But Izuku felt a shiver go down his spine upon seeing him.

'How the hell did you detect that?' He asked, turning back to All Might.

'In my old world, you either detected the most minuscule thing, or you died,' Marvin replied, still scanning the area. 'The surge was brief, but the intent is still there and by a lot. It's not directed at you, nor All Might, but in general. The guy wants to kill in general.'

'Should we tell All Might? That might be important,' Izuku asked.

Marvin shook his head. 'Not now. You don't know what Quirk that guy has; if he hears us and tries something, then a lot of people could get hurt. Let's wait until we're away from prying ears.'

They continued walking until they were out of earshot, and Izuku turned to All Might.

"Marvin said there's someone with murderous intent here," He whispered to the Pro.

All Might tensed, his smile becoming tight. "Are you sure, Young Midoriya?"

Izuku nodded. "It was somebody with a black jacket and mask. It wasn't directed to anybody, I don't think, but it was huge."

"Thank you, Young Midoriya," All Might nodded. "I'll make sure to investigate. I'll tell the other Heroes here too; there shouldn't be any villains here, but I'm unsure."

Marvin shifted uneasily. His instincts were basically screaming at him that something was wrong, and he was more than tempted to take over Izuku's body and look for what it was. His instincts had never been wrong before, and he'd actually gotten into plenty of trouble ignoring them.

'I don't see anything,' Izuku told him, looking around as discreetly as he could, which wasn't much at all.

'That's what worries me,' Marvin replied, trying to take a deep breath.

'But why are you so tense? I agree it was out of place, but is it really that bad?' Izuku suggested.

'That's the problem, it's so out of place,' Marvin sighed. 'Maybe it's just my paranoia, but from my experience, something so out of place usually means a trap. Nobody with any actual skill would be that obvious in their intentions, not when walking around highly skilled fighters.'

Izuku's brows furrowed. 'So you think it's a trap? A trap for what?'

'That's what I'm trying to figure out. Murderous intent instead of just being shifty implies an assassination of some sort, probably using that guy as a scapegoat. But the question is who?'

Marvin quickly reviewed the memory. 'There's something about him, something there just enough to be noticeable…'

His eyes widened. 'SHIT! If that guy was so noticeable, then anybody else with him wouldn't be noticed at all, meaning they'd be able to fulfill their plan without interruption.'

Izuku shook his head. 'Wait, wait, wait. Where are you getting this idea from? How do you know it isn't just one guy?'

'Because why would a solo dude work so hard on being unnoticeable but have such easily discernable intent?' Marvin huffed, seemingly annoyed at Izuku not getting it. 'Especially with such an obvious abnormality with his ears, he'd be suspect number 1 if something happened here. He has to be a scapegoat.'

'But how do you know it isn't an amateur villain or a normal criminal? He didn't look villainous to me.'

'Because of–'

All Might tapped Izuku's shoulder, snapping them out of their conversation.

"Young Midoriya, this is David Shield," All Might cleared his throat and gestured.

David approached and outstretched his hand. "A pleasure to meet you, Izuku Midoriya."

Izuku quickly snapped back to reality and shook David's hand, looking slightly awe-struck.

"A-A pleasure to meet you t-too, sir," Izuku replied, slightly nervous. "I've read your work on Quirk theory, it's absolutely fascinating!"

David smiled at him. "Really? Well, it's always good to find young minds that are so bright, I'm quite impressed. Did you read about the Cellular Quirk Th–"

"Uncle Might!"

The three turned as a blonde blur jumped at All Might, causing All Might to laugh loudly.

"Melissa! How have you been?!" All Might asked as he caught her with ease and spun her around.

"I've been amazing, Uncle Might," Melissa laughed as she was put down. "I didn't know you were coming today!"

All Might gestured to Izuku. "Your father offered to help Young Midoriya with a Quirk issue, it was quite last minute. Sorry about that."

Melissa looked over at Izuku curiously, her head tilted.

"A Quirk issue? Like a support item? I could help you with that," She said.

Marvin stared at her from inside Izuku's mind, blinking.

'Midoriya… I take back everything I said about you and Momo…'

Izuku did a double take and stared at him.

'You… You like her?!' He questioned, genuinely surprised. For some reason, Izuku thought Marvin wasn't interested in people that way.

'Whatever you felt when you sat with Yaoyorozu the first time. The burning-like feeling in your stomach… or that tightness in your throat. Yeah, that.'

Izuku blinked. If Marvin had defaulted to last names, then it was serious.

All Might cleared his throat again, and Izuku snapped out of the conversation with a start.

"Oh, uhhh, sorry," Izuku rubbed his neck sheepishly.

"He zones out sometimes," All Might told both Shields.

Melissa nodded. "Yeah, I get that. Happens to me sometimes too, so don't worry about it, Izuku."

"Anyway, as I was saying," David began. "My plan comes from the theory of the Quirk and mind being connected, which means if the Quirk is present in the body, then part of the mind should be as well."

"The existence of 'Plus Ultra' proves it further," David continued. "A real documented phenomenon that allows a user to surpass their Quirk's limitations with willpower, implying a deep physiological connection beyond the basic biology."

"Which is to say that, if the two are connected, then it's possible that by removing the extra Quirk from your body, it'd also remove your friend, thus allowing the transfer into a new body."

Marvin hummed in thought, his mind whirling.

"One for All has a transfer property keyed to itself," He stated thoughtfully. "It transfers itself over to the next user, which further amplifies its stockpile properties. Creating a mimic of its transfer property and tying it to my Quirk could make it possible for me to leave Izuku's head."

'Marvin!' Izuku hissed, gesturing to Melissa. 'We're supposed to keep One for All a secret!'

'Relaxed posture, no surprise when I mentioned One for All, and neither David nor All Might attempted to remove her. She knows.'

'You don't know that.'

"You already know about One for All?" Marvin asked Melissa.

Melissa nodded. "Dad told me a while ago, I learned about you and Izuku around the same time Dad did. Don't worry I won't say anything."

"I know you won't," Marvin replied casually. "Anyway, as I was saying, we could use One for All as a basis for the bridge to transfer myself. It'd prevent the need to create something new, and it's guaranteed to work."

"But how do you know One for All's transfer will even take your Quirk?" David asked. "It seems tied to itself from what I know."

Marvin blinked. "Oh, right, we didn't tell you."

"Tell us what, Young Mikrai?" All Might asked slowly.

"That day at Nezu's office we unlocked a new Quirk," Marvin explained. "It's called Blackwhip and belonged to the third user of One for All. Izuku went into One for All right before I broke free and spoke to him. The third's, and apparently everyone else's, soul is inside One for All, along with their Quirks."

The other three all did double takes, staring at him in bewilderment. Even All Might looked shocked, though less so than David or Melissa.

"You… spoke with him?" All Might asked slowly.

Marvin nodded. "Yeah. Well… Izuku did. He used Blackwhip during the Sports Festival too, during the race to pull ahead. Apparently, he's going to unlock the other Quirks as well sometime in the future."

All Might stared at him in a mix of shock and pride.

"And mixed with One for All's stockpile ability…"

"Midoriya will become an even stronger hero than you…" David finished, equally as shocked.

Izuku flushed internally at the praise, feeling undeserving of it, especially when he'd gotten so much help from others.

'Rome was built by thousands yet one man who did nothing but command took the glory of its construction. Why would you deny yourself the fruit of your own labor?'

"As I was saying," Marvin continued as Izuku blinked. "Using One for All as the basis, we could identify my Quirk and remove it from Izuku's body, taking my mind with it, and put it into a new body."

David nodded slowly. "That could work. But we still need to create a body for you. Taking some of your DNA might work, but I'm unsure on how to construct it."

"That's where I come in!" Nezu declared squeakily as he entered the lab. "I have just the thing!"

He pulled out a bag with two medicine tablets from his pocket.

"Mister Mikrai, these pills will allow for an energetic hologram of your body to appear in the physical world. If my theory is correct, then that combined with your DNA should hopefully result in your body being reconstructed."

Marvin eyed the pills suspiciously. "And how does this work? Are you even sure it will?"

Nezu frowned thoughtfully. "I'll admit, I've only tested it on myself due to the time rush, so while I'm fairly certain it'll work, there's a chance for it not to."

"And what happens if it doesn't?" Marvin asked.

Nezu paused for a moment. "From my calculations, it will either be a dud, so not work at all, or it will cause a small explosion, potentially causing severe damage to this lab."

Marvin turned to All Might. "If that happens, are you fast enough to get us all out before the explosion?"

"He should, yes," Nezu replied for him. "Since he didn't overexert himself during the USJ attack, then he should be capable of getting us to safety before any harm occurs."

"But how does this work?" David asked, gesturing to the pills. "I've never heard of such a thing before."

Nezu looked prideful. "I studied the history of One for All, and noticed it usually released a form of energy to signify its use. For Toshinori, it was high wind pressure, while with Mister Midoriya, its green lightning."

He cleared his throat. "Using that and my knowledge of Quirks, I contacted a person with a mental projection Quirk and got a sample of its use. Using that and my knowledge of One for All, I created a synthetic version of the projection Quirk that should work for a specific target, reducing the risk of the wrong mind getting removed."

Marvin looked thoughtful for a moment. "So One for All is the catalyst for all of this? That would mean it has a lot more diversity to it than I previously thought."

'Also means there's more for you to grow,' He told Izuku. 'If One for All's excess energy can be contained and transferred to one of the other Quirks inside it, then you could have stronger versions of those Quirks. That could open the door for even more development.'

Izuku blinked, his mind racing with ideas.

'Wouldn't that mean I'd be able to mix Quirks too? If I mixed the Quirks would I just get an amped version or essentially create a brand-new Quirk? Would I be able to siphon off energy from the other Quirks to enhance another? I could do that with One for All to reduce backlash while keeping the output, or mix the other Quirks in to help me deal with it. Doesn't One for All enhance my body too? I could use that extra energy to enhance myself…'

Izuku continued muttering the ideas as the others began the procedure, with David taking a tiny bit of Izuku's blood while Marvin was in control.

Marvin tensed slightly as David did, stopping himself from attacking the man in reflex.

He took a deep breath, reminding himself he was in a different world now, and that he didn't need to be on guard all the time.

David and Nezu began studying the blood sample, trying to isolate the part of the DNA that contained the Quirk.

"Hey, while they're working on that, I can show you around I-Island if you want," Melissa said as she approached Izuku.

Izuku smiled and nodded. "Sure! I-Island is awesome!"

Melissa walked them out of the lab, excitedly explaining the different areas of the island as they walked past.

Izuku looked around in awe, somewhat wishing he had more than one pair of eyes to take in everything he was being shown.

Marvin was tense as they walked around, glancing out of the corner of Izuku's eyes.

'What's wrong? Do you see something?' Izuku asked as Melissa was explaining the different fields of study that took place on the island.

'It's the harming intent again,' Marvin replied as he spotted the man from earlier in his peripherals. 'It's stronger now, almost directed…'

The man moved, and Marvin moved out of instinct, dodging as the man attempted to grab him.

Marvin shifted his footing and kicked the man in the chin, snapping his head back.

Marvin's senses flared and he jumped away, grabbing Melissa and pulling her with him.

A woman with a knife slashed the air where Marvin had been a moment before, her face covered just like the man.

"Stay behind me," Marvin half-ordered Melissa as he regained his footing.

'Knew something was up,' He scowled.

The woman rushed forward, and Marvin intercepted her, moving her knife arm away from her body.

He hit the woman on the inside of her elbow, forcing her to drop the knife.

Marvin caught it and made to stab her arm, but the woman's skin turned to smoke, allowing the knife to pass through.

The man from earlier attacked from behind, pulling down his mask and spitting a ball of acid.

Marvin ducked as his senses flared and rolled back, coming up in a crouch with the knife in his left hand.

"Tell me who you are and what you want," He snapped, standing.

The woman attacked him again, turning to smoke right before Marvin countered, and hitting him as she reformed.

Marvin slashed her stomach, managing to cut the skin before the woman turned again.

Another acid ball flew, and Marvin dropped to a crouch, kicking the woman's legs out as he did.

The woman turned to smoke right before Marvin drove the knife into her chest, her eyes wide.

Marvin rushed the man, making high arching slashes to keep the man's mouth shut.

'Control over her Quirk, but only above average speed. She's skilled, obviously the close-quarters one here. The man is long-range, he's barely keeping up, they're obviously a duo.'

Marvin dropped and kicked the man's legs back, making him fall forward.

Marvin jumped and kneed the man in the jaw, snapping his head back again.

His senses flared, and Marvin twisted mid-air, grabbing the man as he did.

Marvin flung the man into the woman, forcing her to turn into smoke to avoid a collision.

He turned and kicked the air, sending a massive gust of wind at the woman.

The woman flew back and changed back into her regular form to avoid being blown away.

"Null Void," Marvin hissed, hitting her in the stomach before she could turn back.

The woman croaked in pain as her Quirk forcefully shut off before Marvin slammed her into the ground.

'What was that?!' Izuku asked, panicking.

'Told you. But something's still bugging me,' Marvin replied.

'What? Is there somebody else?'

'The guy… he tried to grab me at first, even though he's a long-range fighter,' Marvin answered. 'That doesn't fit. Why would a long-range fighter compromise their range just to grab me? Especially when the woman was a CQ combatant.'

'Why would they attack us at all?' Izuku asked. 'We haven't done anything to attract any attention.'

Marvin looked thoughtful for a moment, rubbing his face tiredly.

'The League of Villains has to be,' He said after a while. 'Nobody else has it out for us. I ripped off that dude's arm and caved the Nomu's skull in, remember? If anyone wants something to do with us, it's them.'

'But how would they know we're here?' Izuku questioned, more than slightly nervous. 'The only people who knew were the teachers and Momo.'

Marvin frowned. 'Nezu mentioned there being a mole inside UA to give the USJ's location out. That could be why, there's a League of Villain's spy inside UA. But that means it's either a teacher or a member of your class, and neither option is good.'

'Wait wait, why do you say that?'

'They gave out the USJ's location AND the time we'd be there, meaning they'd have to know,' Marvin answered. 'It's possible it's neither and that they simply overheard stuff, but that'd be awfully convenient.'

He sighed and rubbed his face. 'This is bad. It means you're always close to the mole no matter what. If this is what the League is doing, then they're likely to use the mole to get to you. We have to watch people.'

He and Melissa quickly headed back to the lab as people began gathering, with Melissa looked extremely worried.

"There shouldn't be villains here," She kept mumbling as they half-ran. "This place is supposed to be safe."

"We'll be fine," Marvin told her, trying to reassure her. "All Might's here, so nothing too bad should happen. The question is if they're after me or Izuku."

Melissa turned back to him as they reached the lab and nodded.

"You're right. We should be fine…"

They burst into the lab, surprising Nezu, David, and All Might, who was in his skinny form.

"Melissa, Izuku, what's wrong?"

Marvin quickly told them everything of what had just happened, telling them his theory on why it'd happened, along with his suspicions of who the mole was.

Nezu looked deeply disturbed. "You're saying you were attacked… here? At I-Island?!"

Marvin nodded. "Yes. I dealt with them easily, but the fact is nobody should've known we were here at all."

"I'll go investigate," All Might said, inflating to his muscular form.

Marvin turned back to David and Nezu. "How far along is the analysis? It'd be better if I could go help without putting Izuku in potential harm."

David sighed. "We've managed to isolate your Quirk Factor and One for All, but it's almost impossible to determine the individual Quirks. At this rate, it might take weeks."

"All Might, can I have one of your hairs?" Marvin asked the Pro as he was leaving.

All Might stopped, slightly confused. "Uhm, of course, Young Mikrai."

He pulled a hair from his head and handed it to Marvin, who put it in the machine to analyze.

"What are you doing?" Nezu asked, somewhat curious.

"The Hunters of my old world were experts in DNA experimentation, as much as I hate to admit it," Marvin replied as he typed.

"If Quirks here operate similarly to meta-human abilities from my old world, then I should be able to use the similarity in Quirk Factors from Izuku and All Might to determine the change in sequence from one user to the next, thus signaling which part of the Quirk is responsible for transfer and isolating it."

David blinked. "That is… a pretty intelligent idea, Marvin. I'm surprised you know so much about this."

"Had to," Marvin said. "I was experimented on a few years back, so I had to be able to understand what they did so I could reverse it. That was the easy part."

"What was the hard part?" Nezu asked.

"The mental aspect," Marvin answered. "When you're modified, something inside you changes. You aren't the same no matter how much time has passed, and eventually, you become so different that you aren't sure what you were before the incident, but you weren't you."

Nezu nodded solemnly. He knew the feeling all too well, and the words only solidified his theory of Marvin being like him.

"There," Marvin said, pointing to the screen. "It's a sequence close to the Quirk Factor."

David examined it closely. "It acts like a socket, connecting One for All to the Quirk Factor, even if there's already a Quirk there."

Izuku's brows furrowed as he took over. "But I was Quirkless before I got One for All. I didn't have a Quirk Factor before."

"That's odd," David muttered. "That would imply One for All also created a Quirk Factor, but I don't think that's possible."

"Or it could mean that even Quirkless people have a Quirk Factor, but that it's simply inactive in some way," Marvin suggested. "Which would mean technically nobody's Quirkless, but rather that some Quirks are simply inactive due to the Quirk Factor being off."

All three scientists in the room blinked, minds reeling with the implications that would have for society.

Marvin rubbed his face, seemingly unaware of the effect his words had.

"If that's the case, then Izuku should've unlocked a new Quirk," Marvin muttered. "But the lack of it could mean One for All cannibalized the Quirk Izuku would've had to make space for itself…"

"I'm sorry, can we go back to the 'nobody might actually be Quirkless' thing?" David asked, shaking his head. "Do you know how many lives that could change if it came out?"

Marvin snarled despite himself. "I'm not going to help with deliberate genetic tampering of an individual. I'm only helping with this to remove myself from Izuku's mind, it's no different to experimenting on antibodies to make a vaccine."

Nezu shot a worried look at the teen. The implication of him thinking of himself as a virus was concerning.

"How long would it take to make a new body with this new info?" Marvin asked nobody in particular. "We know how to transfer my Quirk, can make an energy-based holograph of my body to act as the bridge, and have the DNA to hopefully reconstruct my body. So how long would it take?"

Nezu quickly did some mental math. "If everything goes to plan, maybe a week. It could be shortened if we had a reference for how you looked like, so as to have an end goal set in stone."

Marvin nodded. "Do you have a piece of paper and a pencil?"

Melissa handed the items to him and Marvin quickly sat down to draw.

"Do you need a full body reference or just my face?" He asked, glancing up.

"Just your face and some basic details, like height and so on," Nezu replied.

Marvin nodded and went back to drawing, feeling an odd sort of peace come over him at the familiar scratching of pencil on paper.

He'd always been interested in the arts and philosophies in his old world, and was something he'd used as a coping mechanism a lot when he was overwhelmed.

In just over fifty minutes, Marvin had a hyper-realistic bust shot of his face, with him using his memories as a reference. On the corner of the paper, he'd written the out basic info Nezu had asked for.

"Here," He told David, handing him the drawing. "It's a bit rushed, but it should work."

David looked a bit surprised at the quality, but quickly handed it over to Nezu, and the two began to work.

"So how long should it take now that you have a reference?" Marvin asked.

Nezu paused to run some mental numbers. "About–"

A spike in murderous intent had Marvin up and out the door before Nezu spoke his second word.

Marvin stepped out the door and immediately jumped back as a hand made to grab him.

'Another villain?' He snarled as a villain with a full face mask attacked him.

The man had knives at the bottom of his forearms, and his arms were a blur as he punched, trying to cut Marvin.

Marvin dodged the slashes and found an opening, socking the guy in the chest.

The villain flew back like a sack of flour, tumbling head over heels as he hit the floor.

'Two villains with knives, and one who tried to grab us, can't be a coincidence.'

Marvin stepped out of the lab and leaped to the side as a blonde woman appeared from the wall.

'I didn't pick her up until a moment ago, what the hell?!'

She fully separated from the wall, wearing a tight sleeveless shirt.

The woman lunged at him, and Marvin twisted, kicking her into the wall.

The woman merged with the wall, her skin becoming metallic before she launched out again.

'Transformation. Shit.'

Marvin weaved through a jab and hit her in the jaw.

His hand stuck to his skin, and his eyes widened as he realized their skin was fused.

The woman lashed out, hitting him in the gut before moving and headbutting him.

Marvin jumped back in shock, his hand un-fusing as he did.

'She knew I was going to do that… Have to be careful.'

The woman lashed out with a high kick, and Marvin blocked with his forearm.

Marvin pulled the woman in and spun, throwing a backkick to her face.

The woman unfused and dropped into the floor, shooting back out with her fist raised.

Marvin narrowly dodged the punch to the jaw and shifted, hitting the woman in the side.

He pulled, expecting the skin to be fused, but only pulled back his arm, shocking him a little.

The woman punched him in the face and fused, pulling him in.

Marvin hissed at the punch to his gut and kicked high, forcing the woman to let him go.

He leaped back and shook his head.

'She hasn't changed any of our surroundings yet. Her power has to be limited to herself, or else she'd just fuse me into the floor and beat me that way.'

Marvin rushed her and threw an axe kick, which the woman jumped back from.

The ground exploded as Marvin hit it, sending rubble flying into the air.

Marvin punched the rubble at the woman, making her eyes widen.

The woman fused with the rubble as it hit her, reducing the damage she took.

Marvin rushed her and punched the rubble hard, making the woman double over in pain.

He kneed her in the jaw and spun, kicking her in the head and making her fly back.

The woman unfused as she smacked into a wall, her hair a messy wave that covered her bloody face.

"So I was right," Marvin grinned as he sauntered over. "You just become part of whatever you fuse, combining them into one thing. But that also means whatever damage the other object takes, you take."

The woman snarled at him and lunged, her arms raised.

Marvin ducked and grabbed a piece of rubble, before shooting up.

A sickening crunch sounded as Marvin hit her in the ribs with the rubble, and the woman screamed in pain.

Marvin moved, kicking her in the head and sending her smashing face-first into a wall.

"Well… that lasted a minute longer than I thought it would," He said calmly.

His senses flared and Marvin weaved to the side, dodging the earlier man's forearm blades.

Marvin grabbed him by the arm and twisted it behind the man's back.

There was a wet pop as Marvin pushed, dislocating the shoulder and making the man yell.

Marvin slammed the man's head into the ground hard enough to break his nose and stood, leaving the man twitching and groaning on the floor.

"I… may have gotten carried away…" Marvin muttered, embarrassed.

For a moment, it felt like he was in his old world again, fighting yet another round of Hunters, and it'd only been the villains being so weak compared to the Hunters that had stopped Marvin from trying to kill them.

'You really need to control that…' Izuku told him, looking extremely uncomfortable.

"I know," Marvin sighed as All Might landed beside him.

"Young Midoriya! Are you alr– err–"

All Might stopped as he saw the villains on the ground, and Marvin sighed again tiredly.

"I got… I thought they were Hunters…" He whispered, staring at them with something resembling pity. "I lost control again…"

All Might nodded and put a hand on his shoulder, but Marvin couldn't help but notice that it was firmer than what he usually felt from the Pro.

"We have to report this. There was an attack containing another villain apart from those you fought, making it five total."

Marvin nodded slowly. "Definitely the League… four of them immediately attacked me with no provocation. They didn't restrain me like civilians; they fought me like I was a hero. They knew I was dangerous…"

.

Author's Note: And that's the chapter! Decently long, and I'm pretty proud of it.

There's lots of talking, but it'll become relevant later, mostly just setting up the stones this chapter.

I plan on focusing more on the worldbuilding of MHA soon (One of my few genuine complaints about MHA as a whole) and Quirk theory is fascinating to me. The Quirk discrimination will come into play too.

Also I wanted to show a bit of Marvin's skills this chapter. He isn't a super-genius like Nezu, but he is a borderline genius, and has a lot of experience with a bunch of things that can help him.

In the original story, Marvin was good at drawing, singing, and cooking as well as fighting, so I wanted to show it somewhat here. The philosophy bit was completely my idea, but given he's always capable of teaching so well, I added his interest in philosophy to give it some background.

I'll probably run into the same problem with him as Reaper did, in that Marvin is essentially an end-game character in the early story and capable of dealing with threats without issue, but I already have a plan for that. After all, even the best hero can't be in two places at once.

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the chapter and I'll see you all in the next one!
