A helicopter flew overhead, the roar of its engines slicing through the stillness. The camera zoomed in as it descended toward the edge of the island, where a wooden dock jutted out from the shoreline.

Waiting at the dock, stood the host. But not the host that's most well known, but rather some younger and flashier, Meet Yuri.

In his late twenties with a sharp sense of style and a presence as theatrical as it was magnetic, Yuri exuded the kind of charisma tailored for the camera. His suit, an eye-catching blend of sleek athletic wear and high-tech embellishments. A discreet earpiece looped into his ear, no doubt connecting him to the production network. His piercing eyes and easy smirk hinted at both mischief and command. This was a host who thrived on chaos. "Ladies and gentlemen, drama fans of all ages… Welcome to the Island! The stakes? Higher than ever. The location? A jungle teeming with ancient secrets, perilous obstacles, and probably more bugs than any human should be comfortable with."

"And don't forget about our elusive co-host!...If you can find them" Yuri winks at the camera while it zooms in the background, an ominous figure can be seen, watching from the shadows before moving on.

Yuri turned his attention back to the camera. "So what's the catch? You're about to meet Eighteen of the bravest or perhaps reckless contestants to ever step foot on an island this dangerous. This Island is filled with Relics, Artifacts, & Buried Secrets that your grandchildren's children might need therapy!" He joked.

"All while uncovering the mysteries of this ancient land, and maybe, just maybe, finding treasure."

"One grand prize. $1,000,000! But to win, they'll need to survive some of the most ruthless challenges, unpredictable alliances, and most of all, each other. Along the way, they just might uncover the island's biggest mysteries… if they don't get eliminated first."

"Or eaten! Especially that!" He winked at the camera. "But the path to victory is anything but straightforward. This island is littered with ancient artifacts, buried secrets, and challenges so cruel they'd make your ancestors wince. Survival requires more than strength! It demands wit, resilience, and the ability to navigate alliances as dangerous as the terrain!"

"And let's be honest, if the jungle doesn't eat them alive, they just might devour each other."

"So, are you ready? I know I am! Let the games begin!"

First off was Thomas, casually hopping off the boat with a grin on his face, his lime-green eyes scanning the jungle like a kid seeing a UFO for the first time. He had his signature alien-print T-shirt on, complete with messy brown hair and his quirky earrings that sparkled in the sunlight. His enthusiasm was impossible to miss.

"Alright, this is way cooler than any UFO I've seen!" Thomas grinned, adjusting his bracelets as he gave the island a thumbs-up. "I mean, if this was a space station, I'd be all over it, but ancient ruins? Count me in!"

Yuri asked. "Think you can handle all the dangers that come with this place?"

"Well, if there's anything alien here, I'll just uh, ask it nicely to not eat me, right?" Thomas laughed, slinging a small bag over his shoulder. "But, uh, the only thing I'm scared of is maybe... dancing? Yeah, never."

Yuri chuckled, shaking his head. "Good luck with that."

Next up was Maggie, a towering 6'1", dark brown hair with purple highlights, midnight blue eyes, & multiple piercings. Her presence alone sent a small chill through the air.

"Is that it?" Maggie asked, looking around the island. "I was expecting a little more danger, but alright, I guess I'll take what I can get." She smirked, clearly excited by the challenge that lay ahead. Thomas gave her a side-eye. "Bet you ten bucks you're looking for trouble already."

Maggie rolled her eyes, tossing her hair back. "And you bet I'll find it."

Then came Oswald, A young hillbilly, lanky but surprisingly sturdy, sun-bleached mullet, bright blue eyes, light farmer's tan. Wears ripped jeans, a sleeveless shirt, and an old trucker hat, who miscalculated the distance to the dock and took a spectacular nosedive into the water. After resurfacing with a loud splutter, Oswald pulled himself up onto the dock, soaking wet but still sporting his signature carefree grin. His trucker hat somehow stayed in place.

"Woo! Now that's what I call a grand entrance!" Oswald laughed, shrugging off the water as he adjusted his soaked shirt. "So, this place got any food, or what? I'm starving!" Yuri didn't miss a beat. "I think you might be the food if you're not careful."

Oswald shot a grin back at him. "Oh! Do I taste good?" Oswald tried to bite himself but kept repeating "Ow!" each time, but kept going anyway.

Melody was the next contestant to arrive, long blonde waves, hazel eyes, freckles. Wears colorful tank tops, jeans, and sneakers. A charismatic ray of sunshine in the midst of the chaos. With her infectious smile, she practically skipped off the boat, giving the camera a wink.

"Wow, look at this place!" Melody exclaimed, arms spread wide as she soaked in the view. "I can already feel the adventure in the air. And the potential for lots of stories. So many stories!" Her excitement was palpable as she turned to Oswald, who was still dripping on the dock. "Hey, if you don't mind, I'd like to write about everything here. Maybe do a piece on, uh, survival and water rescues."

"Just keep me out of the article if I'm swimming again," Oswald called back.

Elliot, lean and agile, soft blonde hair, striking purple eyes. Usually wears a zippered sweater & overalls, clung to the dock like it was his lifeline. His eyes darted around, clearly overwhelmed by the lush, jungle surroundings.

"This is… a lot," he said, visibly nervous. "I—I don't know about you guys, but I don't think I'm ready for all this... wilderness." He clutched his sweatshirt tightly. Melody shot him a reassuring smile. "Hey, we're all in this together, alright? You'll do great!" Elliot smiled weakly but nodded, feeling a little better. "Thanks. I'll... I'll do my best."

Rebecca was next, toned, dark brown hair usually in a ponytail, piercing gray eyes, multiple gang-related tattoos. Wears dark jeans, a tank top, combat boots, and a leather jacket. Striding onto the dock with the same intimidating presence she carried everywhere. Her dark eyes scanned the group, unfazed by the chaos unfolding around her.

"So, what's the catch?" she asked bluntly. "You have us stand in the middle of the jungle and see who drops first?"

Yuri smirked. "Maybe. Or maybe it's a test of survival. We'll see if your 'tough-girl' act gets you through."

"Let's see if you survive," Rebecca muttered under her breath.

Razzle made her entrance with impeccable grace, adjusting her sleek black hair as she stepped lightly off the boat. Dressed in a chic varsity jacket and fur boots, she immediately struck a pose, showing off her effortless elegance.

"Ah, I see the competition is already... full of characters," she said, glancing at each contestant with a raised eyebrow. "Don't worry, darlings. I'm sure we'll all make this place look fabulous." She smirked, eyeing Oswald, who was still wringing out his wet shirt. "Though I must say, I hope our fashion choices improve quickly."

RJ followed, his broad, muscular frame towering over most of the others. His confident stride was met with immediate respect as he stepped onto the dock, cracking his knuckles with ease.

"Alright, let's see what this place has to offer," RJ said, his voice full of determination.

Timothy, who arrived looking utterly unimpressed, adjusted his glasses and gave the group a quick once-over. His frown was permanent, but his sharp, analytical gaze was already taking in every detail.

"Charming," he muttered sarcastically. "I'm not sure what I expected, but this? Definitely not it."

Johnny was next, towering above the rest of the contestants with his broad shoulders and easygoing attitude. He tipped his cowboy hat at the group, flashing them a warm smile. "You folks ready to make this thing a real wild ride?" he asked, already making himself at home. "If we're doing this, I say we do it right."

Two for the price of one, A pair of siblings arrived simultaneously as they came onto the docks.

One of the siblings has wavy, shoulder-length dark brown hair, tan skin, and relaxed blue eyes that always seem half-lidded. He's tall and lean, with a surfer's build, usually wearing a loose tank top, board shorts, and flip-flops. He always looks like he just woke up, even when he's been awake for hours. This was Finn.

The other, petite with shoulder-length, wavy light brown hair and bright hazel eyes that sparkle with energy. She wears colorful crop tops, denim shorts, and sneakers with mismatched laces. She always has a scrunchie on her wrist and a playful grin on her face.

"Finally, I thought I'd never get off that boat. It smelled like Body spray and an old ham sandwich on there." Finn said in slight disgust. "Ah c'mon Finny, you love to be on the open waters!" His sister responds. "Not when the lagoon is a pollution cesspool for Hippos trying to mate and stop calling me 'Finny', you know I hate that." Finn said.

"Oh I know, I like seeing you mad," Sunny laughs.

"Looks like you two are gonna be the second annoying thing on the field trip." Timothy grumbled.

Another contestant comes, shortly after as He was flexing and was about to throw a Football into the air. "GO LONG!!" HE shouts before throwing the ball as Oswald was the one to go after it. He ran as fast as he could to try to catch the ball, only to end up falling back into the water again and the football was now lost. "Aw dude, you didn't catch it…" He disappointingly sighed and met up with Yuri after getting off the boat. "Anyways, what's up? It's me! The only and only…BROCK THUNDER!!!" He exclaimed and shouted as he introduced himself. He was a towering wall of muscle with beige-colored skin, a sharp jaw, and a confident grin. Short wavy hair, thick eyebrows, and wears a sleeveless athletic shirt, basketball shorts, and sneakers that look way too expensive for a survival game. His arms are constantly flexed on purpose.

Yuri asked. "I was told that a previous contestant had mentioned you being friends with you. I think his name was Lightni-" Brock puts his hand over Yuri's mouth to stop him from saying that name. "Don't! Say! That! I have NOTHING to do with that, Traitor! Just know that I'm gonna be number 1 after this game!" Brock stated.

"Don't you usually come in 2nd place in every sport you play?" Yuri retorts. Brock, however, brushes it off. "Big whoop. The 1st winners are just cheaters! I play fair and square!"

"Yeah, when you're not too busy crying a river, Blockhead." Rebbeca mocked.

"Don't get snippy with me, woman!"

Incoming next on the list, Kimi! A highly popular live streamer coming from Korea. Slender and petite, pastel pink shoulder-length hair with cute bangs, large dark brown eyes that convey excitement and mischief. Often wears oversized hoodies with cartoon characters, graphic tees, and colorful accessories like hair clips and ribbons. "정말 아름다운 시간이네요! 세상에 하나뿐인 아름다운 꽃은 바로 나예요!" Kimi said in her native tongue, as she was making a short freestyle type of rap, with her using her singing voice to imply.

("How lovely it's the time of hour! I'm the one and only beauty flower!")

"Uhh, did anyone catch anything she said?" Thomas asked. "Uhh, I think she said something about watermelons?" Brock suggested.

"Nah! That was me using my Korean language! I like to show it off all the time!" Kimi answered.

"Well, as great as it is having a foreigner join the show, you might want to stick with English in your Bilingual Dictionary, k'?" Yuri said. "K'!" She replied.

"Moving on, I believe we have the remaining contestant coming at once so let's speed this up" Yuri explains. Luckily, The last boat had arrived, yet something seemed to be off. On the boat, the contestants were staring at the large metal box that had a creepy presence on the inside. No one could know what was inside or why it's on board and what's more? Several Police were surrounding it.

First of the last contestants to come was Blake, tall and athletic, has messy black hair with streaks of red (dyed for "maximum coolness"), sharp blue eyes, and a confident but often exasperated expression. He wears a varsity jacket over a white T shirt, cargo shorts, and running shoes in pure white.

Next was Roxanne, short but fierce, with punk-rock style. dyed magenta hair in a messy undercut, dark eyes lined with heavy eyeliner, and ripped fishnet sleeves. She wears combat boots, fingerless gloves, and a constant scowl.

Finally "Dusty" or Dustin, sun-bleached blonde hair that falls just past his ears, always looking a little messy. He has tanned skin, bright green eyes, and a laid-back, easygoing smile. Wears a loose tank top, board shorts, and flip-flops, no matter the weather.

Once they arrived, The contestants jumped off one by one and were left with a sense of discomfort that they couldn't understand why.

"Does anybody know why they're cops on board the boat?" Blake asked. "I thought it'd be one of those surprise presents where a hot chick comes out?" Dusty guessed.

"It's a competition, not a frat party, you idiots." Roxanne rolled her eyes. "Relax everyone, We've just decided to bring a special contestant to round up an even number of players. Although I will warn you, this one might bite" Yuri chuckled.

The Police come off with the box as they bring it forth by a dolly before setting it in place. "Thanks boys, take his restraints when you get him out. I'll take it from there." Yuri informs the officers before they unlock and open the box.

Everyone gasped as they saw what was in there. An Inmate. A former inmate who has been brought to the Island by means of requirements. They were into a straightjacket and their mouth was covered by a muzzle to keep them in their place. The police then release the seemingly dangerous criminal from their shackles before relieving them from their constrictions. Compact, short orange crew cut, hazelnut brown eyes, wears a black eye patch over his left eye. Often seen in an orange jumpsuit tied around his waist with a tank top and scuffed boots.

"Everyone, say hello to Gerald! Gerald, say hello to your possible friends or foes!"

"Greetings, everyone" Gerald smirked with a rather sinister smile and an unnerving expression that left half of the contestants to feel scared. "Now remember Gerald, you're still under surveillance and as part of your Rehabilitation, you'll be forced to play and work with others until the show is over. So I'd warn you to be on your best behavior and don't stand out too much or else you'll be back in the slammer. Clear?" Yuri warned him.

"Crystal," Gerald replied.

Yuri clapped his hands together. "Alright, noobs! Before we dive into your demise—I mean, your first challenge, it's time to divide you all into teams!" He pulled out a small scroll (probably unnecessary, but hey, theatrics) and unrolled it with a dramatic flourish.

"You'll be split into two groups, each one tasked with not dying while working together!"

"On one side, we have…" Yuri pointed at the first group. "Johnny, Oswald, Rebbeca, Kimi, Elliot, RJ, Blake, Sunny, & Finn!"

"Your team is hereby dubbed, The Olympic Spartans!" Yuri announces as he tosses the team flag to Johnny as it's a red flag with Skull and two swords in a chris-cross formation. "As for the rest of you, Maggie, Razzle, Melody, Thomas, Timothy, Gerald, Brock, Roxanne, & Dusty!"

"For now, you will be registered as The Pillaging Pirates!" Chris said and Chef handed Maggie, a green flag with a Spartan Helmet with the emblem.

After the team reveal, Yuri wasted no time in pointing toward a barely visible dirt path leading into the jungle.

"Before we throw you straight into your exciting first challenge, it's time to check out where you'll be sleeping… if you can even call it that." Yuri revved up an old, beat-up jeep nearby as he'll be taking the contestants where they need to be, smirking. "Last chance to turn back, suckers."

The contestants exchanged glances before following the trail into the unknown. The jungle gradually cleared to reveal two separate living areas, set apart by a shallow river. Each campsite consisted of a cluster of wooden huts, hammocks strung between trees, and a barely-functional communal fire pit.

The Pirates' camp had a slightly larger hut, possibly because of the sheer number of overgrown vines creeping over it. The Spartans' camp, on the other side of the river, had fewer vines but was stationed a little too close to what looked like an abandoned stone altar.

Yuri announces, grinning. "Welcome to your new homes! These luxurious accommodations come with beds—well, more like old sleeping mats—cold food, and absolutely no room service! Oh, and did I mention the jungle wildlife? Try not to get eaten!" He chuckled before tossing down a box of supplies—rope, a few pots, and a single, probably-not-clean machete.

Johnny took charge almost immediately, rolling up his sleeves and assessing the shelter. "Alright, this ain't my first time roughin' it. We just need to patch up the roof, keep the fire goin', and make sure Oswald doesn't try to wrestle a bear or something'."

CONFESSIONAL - Johnny

"I've camped plenty back home, so this? Easy. But I gotta make sure my team doesn't do anything stupid. Oswald already looks like he's thinking' about making' friends with a crocodile."

Oswald, meanwhile, had already climbed onto the roof, testing its stability by jumping on it. "Hey y'all, this thing's pretty solid!"

The roof immediately groaned.

Elliot yelped. "Please get down before we all have to sleep outside!"

CONFESSIONAL - Elliot

"Why did I come here? I don't do 'wilderness'! I do 'quiet libraries' and 'indoor heating.' Now I have to share a hut with a guy who thinks jumping on a broken roof is a good idea?! I'm doomed."

Rebecca, arms crossed, leaned against a tree. "I say we just let it collapse and let natural selection take its course." RJ chuckled. "Harsh. But fair."

Finn, calmly observing, simply murmured, "Nature provides balance. We gotta adapt or be left behind."

Over at the other campsite, Maggie was already hacking away at vines with the machete, clearing out a spot near the fire pit. "Alright, we need an actual plan if we wanna win this thing. First step? Making sure our camp isn't totally unlivable."

CONFESSIONAL - Maggie & Thomas

"We came onto this show cuz Tom-Tom wanted to share his alien biz and I'm just here to make sure nobody rips their ears off," said Maggie.

"C'mon, you know as well as I do they'll be convinced. Besides, it's just a show I'm putting on to stay under the radar before we totally mop the floor with them. They'll never see us, coming!"

"My man" Maggie smiled and fist bump with Thomas

Gerald, seated on a log, smirked. "Or we let the other team struggle while we save our energy. No reason to break a sweat if we don't have to."

Timothy scoffed. "Oh, great. We've got a lazy strategist. Fantastic."

CONFESSIONAL - Timothy

"There's only one thing worse than an incompetent team, and that's a lazy one. If these people think I'm going to do all the work, they've got another thing coming."

Finn inspected one of the hammocks, raising an eyebrow. "Well, at least we have some standards of living. Though this place could use a few aesthetic touches." Kimi, perched on a rock, grinned. "Ooooh, you mean, like, a cute little flag? Maybe some mood lighting? OH! What if we carve our own statues?"

Sunny laughed. "I love the enthusiasm, but maybe after we make sure no one gets, y'know, mauled by jungle creatures?"

As night fell, both camps had somewhat stable shelters, though the jungle remained very alive with the sounds of unseen creatures.

At the Pirates' camp, Johnny, Rebecca, and RJ stood near the fire, quietly discussing their teammates. RJ smirked. "Oswald's a wildcard, but he's tough. Kimi? Not so sure. Girl's got her head in space."

Rebecca shrugged. "As long as they don't drag us down, I don't care." Wilson, overhearing, simply smiled. "Strength isn't just physical. The mind is our greatest tool."

Back at the Spartans' camp, Maggie and Gerald had an already unspoken tension as they both sat near the fire. "You really don't like following orders, huh?" Maggie said.

Gerald smirked. "Let's just say, I like playing my own game."

"Can't argue with that, I guess."

Meanwhile in the distance Yuri had hidden drones that were watching all of the contestants as they were settling in for the night.

"Well, it seems like we're getting some colorful players to start the show, wouldn't you say, Co-star?" Yuri asked as he was in the room with the co-host. A person dressed in all black and wearing large hands and feet resembling that of a Cat.

They're face was covered by a mask that also matches that of a Cat. They're outfit was partly mechanical as their eyes gave a glowing green brightness along with their sharp claws and mechanical tail that was moving around on its own.

The co-host simply gives Yuri a slight nod in agreement. "And don't worry, my friend. You'll get your chance to tarnish their hopes and dreams once we start our first challenge. Speaking of which…" Yuri turns his attention to the camera that is recording them.

"We'll be right back once the sun rises! This is just giving you a little taste for what's to come! And I can promise, you won't think about changing the channel once you see what we've got cooking for these soon to be roasted Pheasants! Stay tuned!"
