Part 3: The Temple of Ares
As they reached the mountains, the shadows began to lengthen. The Temple of Ares loomed before them, a macabre structure surrounded by dark warriors and mythical creatures that seemed to emerge from nightmares. The cold wind and darkness heightened the tension in the air.
"This is bigger than I thought," Logan said, looking at the temple with disdain. "And more dangerous than I like."
Diana nodded, her gaze fixed on the temple entrance. "But we have no choice. If Ares activates the portal, everything we know will be lost."
The two entered the temple, and Ares's forces soon appeared. They faced giant monsters and mythological warriors, but the real challenge came when they reached the altar, where Ares was waiting for them.
"Welcome, Diana, daughter of the gods. And you, mortal, are nothing more than a tool in this game," Ares said, his voice echoing off the temple walls.
"I'm not a tool," Logan replied, claws extended. "I'm a threat to you if you choose to stand in my way."
Diana stepped forward, her sword glowing with divine energy. "This will be the end for you, Ares."
The battle was brutal. Ares, using all his divine power, confronted Logan and Diana with ferocity. But the combination of Logan's physical abilities and Diana's divine prowess proved a challenge even for the god of war.
