Hello everyone, as you noticed, I once again posted this chapter and the next chapter at the same time. The reason was I didn't feel like leaving it on such a short chapter, so I posted this chapter and the next chapter as well. And if you're wondering why I didn't make them one chapter, well, I felt like they were two chapters, even if they're short.

Also any questions asked are answered in the next chapter.

Now onto Chapter 14.

Chapter 14

Press Conference Of Prejudice

Poketopia, City Center

The next day at the police station, the press flooded the police station, with Chief Bofo holding a press conference, with pictures of all the missing Pokemon flipping from one picture to another behind him.

"Ladies and gentlemons. 17 Pokemon went missing and all 17 have been found by our newest recruit, who will speak to you in a moment." Chief Bofo said to the press.

On the side, Judy, Nick, Kipo, and Kalena were watching Chief Bofo talking to the press, with Judy getting nervous. "I'm so nervous." Judy said to everyone. "We can tell." Kalena said to Judy.

"Okay. Press Conference 101. You wanna look smart? Answer their question with your own question and then answer that question. Like this." Nick said to Judy.

"Excuse me. Officer Zaps, what can you tell us about the case?" Nick asked, acting like a reporter. "Well, was this a tough case? Yes. Yes, it was." Nick said, acting like Judy.

"You see?" Nick asked Judy, acting like himself. "While that's not bad. Here's some more advice. Just be confident and if you don't know, just say no comment." Kipo said to Judy.

"You all should be there with me. We did this together." Judy said to everyone. "Hey, you figured this all out, we were just along for the ride." Kalena said to Judy. "And, we'll, am I a cop? No. No, I am not." Nick said to Judy.

"Funny you should say that because I've been thinking. It would be nice to have a partner. And with Kipo and Kalena leaving in the near future. I was thinking that partner could be you." Judy said to Nick, pulling out a police application paper.

"Kalena, care to give him something to write with?" Judy asked Kalena. "Of course." Kalena said, pulling out the pen with the recording on it, and handing it to Nick. These actions really surprised Nick, and made him smile.

"Officer Zaps, it's time." bellwether said to Judy, getting everyone's attention. Just then showed everyone her fingers crossed, before moving to the podium. "So now, I'll turn things over to the Officer who cracked the case. Officer Judy Zaps." Chief Bofo said to everyone, before they turned to Judy.

Judy took a deep breath, and moved to the podium, while Chief Bofo stepped away from it. "Officer Zaps! Officer Zaps! Over here!" All the press said to Judy at once. "Yes?" Judy asked a Bibarel.

"What can you tell us about the Pokemon that went savage?" The Bibarel asked Judy. "Well, the Pokemon in question…" Judy neverious said to the Bibarel, before looking at Nick, Kipo, and Kalena, giving her an encouraging look.

"Are they all different species? Yes. Yes they are." Judy said to everyone, making Nick proud, as the reporter wrote down what she said.

"Okay, so what is the connection?" A Mawile asked Judy. "All we know is that they are all final forms of their respective Pokemon species." Judy said to the Mawile.

"So, final form Pokemon are the only one going savage?" A Seviper asked Judy. "That is accurate. Yes." Judy said to the Seviper.

"Why is this happening?" A Delibird asked Judy. "We still don't know. It might have something to do with their biology." Judy said to the Delibird.

"What do you mean by that?" A male Oinkoligne asked Judy, sounding concerned. "A biological component. You know, something in their DNA." Judy said to the male Oinkoligne.

"In their DNA? Can you elaborate that, please?" A Sawsbuck asked Judy. "Yes, what I mean is thousands of years ago Pokemon final forms gave the power to rule, making them aggressive fighters." Judy said to the press, making Nick, Kipo, and Kalena feel bad.

"For whatever reason they seem to be reverting back to their primitive, savage way." Judy said to press, as Nick looked at the pictures of the Pokemon getting taken away by the cops. Seeing this caused Nick to have a small panic attack, remembering his past. "Easy Nick." Kipo said to Nick, trying to calm him down.

"Officer Zaps, could it happen again?" The Seviper asked Judy. "It is possible. So we must be vigilant. And we at the PPD are prepared and are here to protect you." Judy said to everyone.

"Will more Pokemon go savage?" The Mawile asked Judy. "What is being done to protect us?" The male Oinkoligne asked Judy. "Have you considered a mandatory quarantine on final form Pokemon?" The Delibird asked Judy.

Seeing the press swarming her, Chief Bofo, nodded, giving Bellwether the persimmon to stop this. "Okay, thank you, Officer Zaps." Bellwether said to Judy, get on the podium. "That's all the time we have. No more questions." Bellwether said to the press, before pushing Judy out of the spotlight.

"Was I okay?" Judy asked Bellwether. "You did fine." Bellwether said to Judy, before Judy ran up to Nick, Kipo, and Kalena.

"That went so fast. I didn't get a chance to mention any of you, or say anything about how we…" Judy said to everyone, but was interrupted by Nick. "I think you said plenty." Nick said to Judy. "Yeah it's clear how you see things." Kalena said to Judy.

"What do you mean?" Judy asked everyone, confused. "Clearly there's a biological component? These final form Pokemon may be reverting back to their primitive, savage ways? Are you serious?" Nick asked Judy.

"I just stated the facts of the case. I mean it's not like a Pachirisu could go savage. Our power doesn't just suddenly shoot up when we evolve." Judy said to Nick. "Like me and the girls. We could go savage?" Nick asked Judy.

"Nick, stop it. You, Kipo, and Kalena are not like them." Judy said to Nick. "Oh, there's a "them" now?" Nick asked Judy, getting a little angry with her.

"You know what I mean. You all are not like that kind of Final form Pokemon." Judy said to Nick. "The kind that needs to be locked up? The kind that makes you think you need to carry around a flash bang?" Nick asked Judy, pointing to the flash bang still on her, making a worry look appear on Judy's face.

"Yeah, don't think I didn't notice that little item the first time we met. So let me ask you a question. Are you afraid of us?" Nick asked Judy. But Judy said nothing, but gave everyone an uneasy look. "Answer him." Kalena said to Judy. "

Yeah, answer me. Do you think we might go nuts?" Nick asked Judy. "We are final form Pokemon so it's possible right. You said so." Kalena said to Judy. "Do you think we might go savage? Do you think we might try to… crush you?" Nick said, making his right paw glow black.

This caused Judy to remember the attack Gideon Black gave her. On reflex, Judy let out a small yell, as she reached for the flash bang, and as her tail turned silver.

But seeing Judy do this, just shattered the trust they all had.

"I knew it. Just when I thought somebody actually believed in me. Probably best if you don't have a Pokemon like me as a partner." Nick said to Judy, giving Judy the police application paper.

"You know for someone that talks about making the world a better place, you clearly don't know what that means, goodbye." Kipo said to Judy. "Goodbye, Judy. Enjoy the fruits of your words, alone." Kalena said to Judy, before she, Nick, and Kipo started to walk away.

That's when Judy looked at the paper, and saw Nick had finished filling out the application. Seeing this made Judy feel bad. And when she looked up, she saw Nick, Kipo, and Kalena walking out the door, with Nick throwing the badge sticker away.

"No. Nick. Kipo. Kalena. Nick! Kipo! Kalena!" Judy said to them, running to them, but was stopped by the press surrounding her.

"Officer Zaps! Were you just threatened by those final form Pokemon?" The Mawile asked Judy. "No, they're my friends." Judy said to the press. "We can't even trust our own friends?" The Seviper asked Judy.

"That is not what I said! Please!" Judy said, trying to get through the press, but couldn't. "Are we safe?" The Delibird asked Judy. "Have any new Final Form Pokemon gone savage?" The Mawile asked Judy, getting too close to Judy and keeping her trapped, and making her watch Nick, Kipo, and Kalena fade from view, leaving Judy to face the coming storm, alone.
