Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeyyyyyyyyyyyyy ] OoO ;)

So, I've seen a lot of Sokeefe scenes like this, so I thought I'd do smthg like it (I know, I have a lot of other scene requests and I'll try to get them out to you as soon as possible!)

Hope you like it!

For once, everything was peaceful at Havenfield.

The animals in the pastures were silent, save for a few nocturnal creatures.

Grady and Edaline were asleep in their room, and the Gnomes were taking their hour of rest in the meadows just beyond the borders of Havenfield.

Even Sophie was sleeping . . . Although none to peacefully. Sophie tossed and turned as horrific nightmares replayed in her head.

"Sophie…." A taunting voice said.

Fintan.

"Why don't we find out what's in that labyrinthian mind of yours . . ." He stalked forward towards Sophie, his eyes glowing red the same as his hands. Fire spread uncontrollable across his hands and forearms as he reached her.

"Sophie . . ." Fintan said menacingly reaching her side.

"Sophie . . ."

"Foster!" A muffled voice said, waking her up.

Sophie gasped, jolting up. She frantically looked around, expecting to see Fintian . . . but instead saw a blond haired elf, with wide ice-blue eyes outside her window.

"Keefe?" Sophie said, rubbing her eyes to make sure she wasn't still dreaming.

Keefe knocked on the glass and smiled sheepishly.

Sophie motioned for Keefe to wait as she climbed out of bed and jogged over to the window.

"What are you doing here?" Sophie hissed, so her parents didn't hear her.

"I missed you," Keefe said as if that solved everything. "That and Ro's snoring was keeping me up all night."

"It is 2am!" Sophie complained, as Keefe climbed through her window and into her room.

"Great observation Foster," Keefe said and smirked teasingly.

Sophie put her hands on her hips and raised an eyebrow.

Keefe sighed and looked at her again, his expression unreadable. "I just . . . Couldn't sleep."

When he didn't elaborate, Sophie's expression softened and she gave him a small understanding smile.

"Are you okay?" She asked and touched his shoulder.

"No . . ." Keefe admitted. "Can I just stay here . . . Just for a bit?"

Sophie hesitated a little before, nodding. She grabbed his hand before leading him to her bed. She sat down on the edge and patted the spot next to her.

Keefe obeyed and sat down leaving a good bit of space between them.

"So . . ." Keefe said, his voice light but soft, not wanting to wake anyone up. "Are you okay?"

Oh no.

Keefe must have seen her when she was having her nightmare . . .

Sophie blushed and looked down, suddenly feeling very vulnerable.

Sophie felt a warm hand on hers. Comforting, solid, real.

Sophie looked up to see Keefe, staring down at her with an expression of understanding, compassion, and something she couldn't really cypher.

"Was it the Neverseen?" He asked gently.

"Fintan." Sophie clarified, tightening her hold on his hand.

"Well . . ." Keefe said, smiling at her sadly. "On the bright side . . . at least we're not alone,"

Sophie felt the beginnings of tears form in her eyes.

Sophie reached up and hugged Keefe with all her might.

Keefe retaliated by wrapping his arms around her and pulling her in.

As Sophie cung to her best friend, she was overcome with a sense of comfort. She didn't once feel awkward hugging him–even when their hug lasted way longer than one usually should.

They stayed like, clinging to each other, until they were strong enough to pull away.

Keefe was the first to do so, looking at her and saying, "I know what we need."

"And what's that?" Sophie said, whipping her eyes.

Keefe shifted in her bed until his back was against her head board. He patted the spot right next to him and opened his arms.

"Yeah no." Sophie said.

"Foster, I'm highly vulnerable right now, so don't you go piercing my heart," Keefe said with a smirk. "You know you want to snuggle with Lord Hunckyhair . . ."

As much as she hated to admit . . . It did sound nice—not that she would ever, in all of the Elvin world, admit it.

"If I say no, will you leave?"

"Probably not," Keefe said, his smirk widening.

Sophie sighed, refusing to let her lips form into a smile.

"Only for a little bit . . ." Sophie said as she scooted closer to Keefe, so that her back was against his chest, and her head was on his shoulder.

When Sophie shifted to get more comfortable, her leg brushed against Keefe's and her face became a whole new shade of red.

"You know you're cute when you blush . . . But you're even cuter when you blush in pajamas."

It was then that Sophie realized that she was wearing her sparkly Alicorn pajamas.

Sophie mentally slapped herself for wearing them.

"Don't worry." Keefe said and casually slipped his arms around her waist. "I don't judge."

Sophie melted into his body, resting her head completely against his shoulder, and resting her hand on his arms, which were holding her tight. "Thanks for being there for me Keefe . . ." she whispered.

"I know I am pretty amazing," Keefe teased back in a whispered voice. "But thanks for being there for me too."

And with that they closed their eyes, not realizing how tired they both were.

Just before Sophie fell into a deep sleep, she heard a low voice, so soft she could barely understand what was being said.

"Good night Foster . . ." Keefe mumbled before falling asleep.

And with that they both rested that night, warm smiles on their faces, as they fell asleep in the comfort of those they loved.

TADA! I think this was one of my favorite ones to write (mostly because of the Sokeefe snuggling *squeals like a little girl*)
