A/N Anya is fun and I think we will see more of her in future arcs.

"We dropped Dr. Jackson off at you guy's hotel before finishing patrol." Buffy announced once the two groups had returned to the Summers house. "Xander, our visitor Xander, you're going to need to check on him, I'm afraid."
"Why?" O'Neill asked. "Danny boy does tend to die on occasion, is this likely to be one of them?"
"It's possible, he got splashed with the blood of a demon I killed. I'm a little paranoid, it's not usually a big deal because its just blood, but demons can spread an aspect of themselves in their blood. I got bled on by a telepathic demon last year and my brain nearly melted."
"Teal'c nearly turned into a giant bug after getting bit once." O'Neill commented. "I'm beginning to think our mission reports would read as very similar. And after seeing what we've seen tonight, I get why you call them demons." The Goa'uld had been called that by their human slaves too and had also earned it.
"Indeed." Teal'c intoned.
"I'll go check on him now." Elder Xander decided. "I'll check on Cordy when I get hack." He disappeared in a stream of lights.
"Hey, Buff, go check out your backyard." Local Xander grinned. "There's a surprise back there, just don't attack her, okay? Not a bad guy, just a former Cordette." He crouched in front of Cordelia who was sitting on the couch after seeing her old friend in her new form. "How are you doing, Cordy?" He asked gently.
"It's good to have her back and not that thing wearing her face." She rubbed her stomach. "Aside from that my back hurts."
"I can give you a back rub, I haven't forgotten how."
"Would you? That would be great."
"Are you sick?" Carter asked. "Since the other Xander is checking on you, I mean."
"I'm pregnant." Cordelia answered as Xander began to rub her back
"Oh, how far along are you?"
"It's been about thirty hours since conception occured."
"How can you tell that precisely?" Carter asked curiously. "Some alien technology I'm not familiar with?"
"Our visitor, along with two representatives of the - group - we appealed to for help for Faith sensed the moment it happened." Cordelia answered. "But no one knows how it happened."
O'Neill and Carter glanced at each other as Teal'c's eyebrows climbed north. "How can you not know how it happened?" Carter asked. "Here on Earth it happens one of two ways, sex or artificially."
"This was artificial, but no one in the room who was with me has any idea how it happened." Cordelia answered. "And Xander's been linked to me, as my protector. Faith's not the only one in danger, I'm afraid. Our visitor's solution was to ask for help for Faith, someone else, according to the representatives, seems to have figured out a way to help me, but we have no idea who that person is or what their own motives are."
Elder Xander rematerialized in the room. "Dr. Jackson's fine." He announced. "My scan showed nothing to worry about. Back hurting, Cor?"
"Yes, but Xander's always been good at backrubs, so it's helping." Elder Xander crouched where local Xander had previously and a white light shown from his hand and the fascinated members of SG 1 watched as he ran the light over her abdomen and after a moment shut it off, looking worried.
"What is it?" Cordy asked.
"Yesterday, three hours post conception I could already detect a heartbeat and that normally occurs around 12 weeks, which means math wise, you could have been full term in ten hours. Rate of growth has slowed considerably but is still too fast. Baby Cordy's currently about 20 weeks along and it's been about thirty hours since conception. Unless it slows again, you could deliver in a matter of days. Aside from the risk to you, baby Cordy seems perfectly healthy and she's definitely a girl."
"Will Cordy survive the birth?" Local Xander asked worriedly "The last time she was pregnant she nearly died."
"She was impregnated against her will and came to term within twenty four hours." Elder Xander answered, an answer that shocked the members of SG 1. "It was more of a parasite that would have burst out of its host when it reached maturity, it just took root in her uterus instead of a random place in her body. This is an actual human baby, but there's still a strain on Cordy's body that the human body is not built for. It is possible she could rupture, I can heal anything except death and I can't regrow organs. But if she ruptures before baby Cordy reaches term, baby Cordy might not survive if her organs aren't formed enough."
"The President gave orders that only one person would be allowed to run any tests on Faith." O'Neill told them. "And those test were to be no more than determining if we really are related and if she's healthy. I trust Dr. Fraser with my life and my teammates lives and the life of every person on our base. If we ask the President to have her oversee your friend's care, I think, given the situation he'll agree. If you're willing to trust us."
He noticed they all turned to look at their visitor, who was looking at O'Neill and then looked at Major Carter and Teal'c. "I'm not sensing deception from any of them." He assured them. "But it's not up to me, it's up to Cordy."
"They might be able to help with the baby." Cordelia decided. "And if Xander and Faith go with me and you're only a call away, I'm willing. I don't want anything to happen to the baby."
Before anyone else could say anything Buffy burst into the house. "A unicorn, there's a unicorn in my backyard! For once the Hellmouth gave us something good!"
