Time was racing, every year became a month, every month became a week, every week became an hour, every hour became a minute... and every minute became a second. The universe itself was spinning towards it's final cataclysmic disaster and not a single person in the world; aside from just a select few- had any idea of the cause.
Faster and Faster it went by, soon the sun had disappeared, and the planets of the solar system had failed. Everything started to compact closer towards the very centre of the universe until at the very peak of space; a singularity occurred... and a new universe was born.
To Enrico Pucci, this was a victory. But- was it truly a victory? Something had happened that was outside of Pucci's control, in fact; something had happened that was completely out control to a one, Josuke Higashikata. When the singularity approached; and he was blinded by the powerful light. He felt something touch his back. Suddenly; he went from staring at the end of the universe itself; to feeling his body warp and shuffle in a tendon wriggling warp of unknown origin.
He felt his form fly backwards with a speed so fierce that his eyes watered violently and became brused from just the mach speed. Was he thinking? He couldn't THINK properly... there was too much information happening. One moment he was applying for a job, having freshly acquired a criminal justice master's degree with the hopes of finally following his grandfather's footsteps. And yet the next... Time was racing.
It happened spring night where the stars themselves were shining in unison on an unsuspecting village, far hidden in the depth hidden forests of Japan. It was May 15th, 1916. And Japan was at the cusp of the Taisho Period, slowly pushing into the budding adulthood that would soon be known as the Showa era in just a decade. From the heavens themselves hurtled a bright blast of purple light that crackled through the tree line after it's descent from the heavens.
The canopy of trees were burned and flattened from it's high trajectory path, then an explosion came that ruptured the earth itself with a heavy crator.
It woke everyone. From the early rising farmers to the late night drunkards.
Children were crying from the ear rupturing impact, and parents were rushing to protect them from the unknown threat. Those that were brave enough; quickly gathered with weapons of all variety. Swords, Brooms, Axes, Blacksmith's tools. They took whatever they could and approached the distance plume of smoke.
Yet their discovery gave more questions than anything. A few more curious souls were broad enough to take a much closer look; and upon the shuffling of rubble. They found- not a meteor which may have brought them riches. But a man. A man with a star-shaped birthmark.
Hello everyone. This is the Author, Jo. So- I stopped writing this story after a good while because I just didn't like how it was leading. I had ideas and plans, but they conflicted. So now- I've decided to rewrite it from the beginning. I hope you can enjoy it as much as the original draft. And I hope I can get some interesting feedback and ideas from you all.
