Chapter 12: The End Of Ultron.
Having watched Ultron almost kill Hawkeye, Hulk became even more enraged and jumped from the city street he had just been fighting in and punched through the hull of the Quinjet as it soared overhead, allowing him to land in the belly of the vehicle.
Ultron, having felt this, turned to see the enraged man now standing behind him. "Oh, for G-"
Hulk throws Ultron out of the jet and the AI crashes inside a train, now even more damaged than before, Ultron decides to rest and let his self repair systems do their Job.
He had been so close to completing his mission. So close, and yet he failed.
No matter, he had instructed the rest of his drones to fly off in all directions, surely at least one of them could escape the fallout. Right?
Noticing something from the corner of his optic, Ultron turns to see a broken Wanda walk into the entrance of the train car. Her eyes wet with tears and her makeup ruined.
Knowing what she wants, he narrows his optics. "Wanda. If you stay here any longer, you'll die."
The young woman gave him a cruel smile. "I just did. Do you know how it felt?"
Ultron's power core was torn from his body and flew into Wanda's hand, where she then presented it to his failing optics.
"It felt like that."

In the church, a single drone manages to sneak in and turn the key on Ultron's device. This switches the repulsors off, causing the city to cease going upwards and instead start falling.
Barry flashes into the church and cuts the drone in half, straight down the middle. Destroying it. "Guys, we got a serious problem!"
(Underneath the city)
"Glad to hear your voice Kid, but once again for a speedster you're a little late. We have a plan, get yourself on the Helicarrier! Thor, on my mark. Now!"
Thor uses his hammer to hit the Vibranium core in the church at the same time that Iron Man fires a blast into the vibranium under the city. The chain reaction destroys the core and causes Sokovia to explode.
With everything blowing up in slow motion for Barry, he phases into the train, grabs Wanda and then runs like hell to the edge of the city before jumping through the air and landing on the Helicarrier.
"Wha- you saved me?"
"You're one of us now Wanda, no Avenger left behind." Flash replied with a smile before passing out from exhaustion, he had done a LOT these past few days.
Supergirl landed near them, placing half a building of trapped refugees on the deck before walking over to them. "He'll be alright. I'm... sorry about your brother and the city, I know what it's like to lose everything." She told the young woman.
Wanda nodded, not wanting to say anything. Pietro's death was still so raw.
"Just know if you need anything, even if it's just to talk. Let me know, okay?" Kara insisted, putting a hand on her shoulder before going to pick Barry up and carry him inside.

Vision finds the last remaining Ultron drone In a forest, it couldn't fly, it had lost an arm and was incredibly damaged, But it had escaped the destruction. It housed the last remaining sliver of Ultron's consciousness and therefore was glowing red instead of blue.
"You're afraid." Vision noted.
The drone scoffed. "Of you?"
Vision shook his head. "Of death. You're the last one."
Ultron stepped forwards. "You were supposed to be the last. Stark asked for a saviour, and settled for a slave." He murmured.
Vision sighed. " I suppose we're both disappointments."
Ultron chuckles tiredly. "I suppose we are."
Vision hummed, a soft smile on his face. "Humans are odd. They think order and chaos are somehow opposites, and try to control what won't be. But there is grace in their failings. I think you missed that."
Ultron shook his head. "...They're doomed." He replied.
Vision nods sadly. "Yes. But a thing isn't beautiful because it lasts. It's a privilege to be among them."
Ultron groans. "You're unbearably naive."
Vision smirks at that. "Well, I was born yesterday."
Ultron growls at that and jumps forward, aiming to attack Vision, only for The android to use the mind stone and destroy the psychopathic AI. Once and for all.
Sighing one last time, Vision leaves, not noticing a breach in space time open up behind a tree...

Nick Fury walked down the corridor with Black Widow, talking to her about what their operatives had found. "One of our tech boys flagged this, splashed down in the Banda Sea. Could be the Quinjet. But with Stark's stealth tech, we still can't track the damn thing. I know you tried to contact Banner, but for some reason he didn't pick up. So as of now he is considering missing."
The Ex Director of Shield showed her the info on a tablet before putting it away.
Natasha nodded, still worried about her friend. Still wondering why Hulk/Bruce didnt answer the comms when she had tried to connect to the Quinjet.
Noticing her silence, Nick tried to lift her spirits by adding: "You never know, he probably jumped out and swam to Fiji. I'm sure he'll send a postcard."
Natasha smiled at that. "You sent me to recruit him, way back when. Did you know we were all going to become close, even become a family, did that scenario even go through your head?"
Nick smiled back. "You never know. You Just hope for the best and make do with what you get. I got a great team. A group I'm proud to call friends, let's hope it lasts."
Natasha sighed. "Nothing lasts forever."
Nick shook his head. "Trouble, Miss Romanoff. No matter who wins or loses, trouble still comes around."
"Ain't that the truth."

"The rules have changed."
Tony turns to Steve and nods. "Yeah we're dealing with something new."
Steve hums. "Well, the Vision's artificial intelligence"
"A machine." Tony agrees.
"So it doesn't count then?" Cap blinks.
Tony shook his head. "No. It's not like a person was lifting the hammer."
Steve nodded. "Right. Different rules for us."
"Nice guy, but artificial." Tony continues.
Thor, annoyed at their banter, tried to end it with: "If he can wield the hammer, he can keep the Mind Stone. It's safe with the Vision and these days, safe is in short supply."
Steve Rogers nodded seriously before turning to look at tony. "But if you put the hammer in an elevator..."
Tony smirks. "It would still go up."
Steve Rogers grinned. "But The Elevator's not worthy." he sang.
Thor rolled his eyes. "I'm going to miss these little talks of ours." He said sarcastically.
Tony Snorted. "Well, you wont if you don't leave."
Thor sighed. "I have no choice. The Mind Stone is the fourth of the Infinity Stones to show up in the last few years. That's not a coincidence. Someone has been playing an intricate game and has made pawns of us. But once all these pieces are in position..."
Tony smirked "Triple-" He began to say.
" -Yahtzee?" Cisco finished from over by the Quinjet landing pad.
The billionaire threw his hands up in the air. "RAMONE, COME ON!"
The long haired genius laughed before running off, heading off to look around his new workshop.
"How does he keep doing that?" Tony muttered.
Amused but ignoring his friends, Steve Rogers turned to thor and asked what was on his mind. "You think you can find out what's coming?"
Thor nods. "I do. (He then points to stark) Besides this one, there's nothing that can't be explained." He replied with a smile before being taken away by the Bifrost, it's symbol now burnt into the ground where he was just standing.
Tony shook his head. "That man has no regard for lawn maintenance. I'm going to miss him though. And you're going to miss me. There's gonna be a lot of manful tears." He quipped as they walked over to a waiting Audi.
Cap smirked. "I will miss you, Tony."
"Yeah? Well, it's time for me to tap out. Maybe I should take a page out of Barton's book and build Pepper a farm, hope nobody blows it up." Iron man replied, getting in the car before shutting the door and rolling down the window.
"You really want the simple life tones?"
Tony put his hand out, making a so-so gesture. "You'll get there one day."
Steve sighed. "I don't know, family, stability... The guy who wanted all that went in the ice seventy-five years ago. I think someone else came out."
Tony raised an eyebrow. "You sure about that? Because I think you and Natasha could be happy."
Steve's lips quirked upwards. Ah, so his team had noticed. "You really think so?" he asked.
Stark shrugs. "Hey, I'm the love guru, I've been with a ton of women before finding the perfect one for me. I know love when I see it, by the way you seen the looks Barry and Kara give each other?"
Steve nods. "Oh yeah, those two aren't fooling anyone but themselves. Hopefully they will talk it out soon otherwise they're gonna end up hurting."
Tony hums before rolling the window back up and driving away.
Steve walks back into the new HQ and finds Natasha waiting for him, alone. "You want to keep staring at the wall, or do you want to go to work? I mean, it's a pretty interesting wall."
Natasha turns to him and grabs his collar, bringing him down to her height. She then puts her lips to his and kisses him, passionately. "I just had to do that." She whispered before letting him go and walk down the hallway, shaking her hips as she did so.
"So that's it huh, one kiss and back to work?" Steve said.
Natasha turned and gave him a sexy smirk. "Work before pleasure, you should know this by now Мой капитан.~"
Steve shook his head with a smile and caught up with her easily.
"So, How do we look?" she asks.
Knowing what she means, he takes a small tablet off of his side and gives it to her. "Well, we're not the '27 Yankees."
Natasha hums. "But we've got some hitters."
Steve nods. "They're good. But they're not a team."
Natasha switches off the device before shoving it under her arm. "Well, lets beat 'em into shape."
Steve opens the door to the main hangar, revealing a group of waiting heroes.
Rhodey in his war machine suit, Vision, Sam in his falcon suit and Wanda in a brand new outfit.
"Avengers-"

Thanos body fell to the floor, and his head fell with it. His children looked on with great fear and astonishment. But they all kneeled, averting their eyes from the victor of the match.
A mechanical silver suit walked down from besides them and opened up, letting its user put it back on.
The armour lit up the moment the user touched it, turning the room blue with its glow.
Ebony maw got up and walked forwards, raising his hands to praise his new master.
"We pledge ourselves to your greatness, oh great lord of motion, King of velocity, God of speed... the Black Order will now serve only you, Savitar."
Savitar picked up the Gauntlet, and in his hands it turned from gold to a chrome silver. "My ascension is nearing, there is only one group that can stop me now...the Avengers. But it is of no consequence, I have been manipulating events from the beginning of time itself. I will not be denied, It is... inevitable."
(End of chapter ten)
"My Captain~." Russian to English translation.
To those wondering about Peitro and other characters, I have plans. So I will say this: "Spoilers!" :)
