Theory#1: S-FIT did not explode.
In Fleeting Memories, Part 5, it is stated that there are no survivors. However, on the wiki fandom, it is stated that Asimov was experimented on at S-FIT when he was a boy. Therefore, this means Asimov is a survivor and the building may not have been destroyed. In the Nova's Memories audio drama, it was stated by a scientist that they lost "good scientists and priceless research" that day. But in ASG3, Kirin read an excerpt from the file which stated "In the near future, Adepts will wipe out humanity". So, Sumeragi may not have done as good a job covering everything up as they thought.
Location: S-FIT's Explosion: Chapter 1
Theory#2: Asimov's escape is why Sumeragi took down their website.
It is mentioned that Sumeragi had a website that was taken down due to unknown reasons. It can be theorized that the website was shut down to prevent Asimov's escape being made public, as Sumeragi has been known to cover up any "accidents".
Location: Sumeragi's Cover Up: Chapter 2
Theory#3: Asimov made QUILL for revenge.
Asimov was powerless while being experimented on at S-FIT. After fleeing and creating QUILL, he was in charge of the entire company. This gave him a sense of power and control, something he lacked in his life when he was a child. He practically pitted QUILL specifically against Sumeragi. The original Azure Striker may have been hoping to get revenge on his tormentor.
Location: Asimov's Revenge: Chapter 3
Theory#4: Copen believes his father is dead.
If S-FIT truly did not explode, then Dr. Kamizono would certainly still be alive. With Copen believing his father was dead, Copen swore vengance on every Adept. This is most likely the case since he doesn't know who exactly did it. Even upon meeting the culprit at Firmament, Copen was still clueless. With no evidence as to who did this, all Copen feels he can do is kill them all. So if there's no one alive, the person who did it will no longer be breathing.
Location: Dr. Kamizono's Death: Chapter 4
Theory#5: Asimov eliminated Gunvolt and Joule wrong.
If Asimov were to have been thinking logically, he would've disposed of Gunvolt and Joule's bodies. In this way, Sumeragi could not study their bodies and attempt to recontinue Project Gunvolt or Project Muse. While the Septimas cannot be re-obtained after a short period of time has passed, the bodies can be studied.
Location: Gunvolt & Joule's Elimination: Chapter 5
Theory#6: Demerzel is an AI.
Asimov's escape devastated Sumeragi since he was the only known successful test subject in Project Gunvolt at the time. With Sumeragi's connections, they may have gotten ahold of his body. Using said corpse, they could have taken Asimov's memories, personality and Azure Striker to place them in an AI construct. This is possible when thinking about the Butterfly Effect.
Location: Demerzel The AI: Chapter 6
Theory#7: Nova gained extra arms after he fused.
After Nova fused with Joule, his second form gained six arms. This can be taken from the fact he fused with Joule who's alter ego was Lumen which Nova tried to control for her power.
Location: Nova's Control: Chapter 7
Theory#8: Copen and Mytyl were ditched.
Shortly after Mytyl was born, her Muse Septima was deemed too powerful for her infantile body. Upon noticing this, Dr. Kamizono performed an operation on the girl. However, this caused Mytyl's health to decline. She lost the ability to move anything from the waist down. Talking or making vocalizations of any sort were impossible. Feeling guilty, Dr. Kamizono and his wife may have left the sanatorium. Or Copen's parents may not have wanted to deal with the fact that one of their children was an Adept. If this were to be the case, the day S-FIT supposedly exploded would have been the best day to do this. This information would cause Copen to think his mother left to grieve and his father died.
Location: Copen & Mytyl's Abandonment: Chapter 8
Theory#9: Nova didn't die.
Nova may not have died in the events of ASG1. It's known that Nova's Glaive transformation and "death" scene is showed. When a Glaive shatters and falls to the ground, that enemy is dead. However, this scene is completely missing from the fight. This can be interpreted as Nova surviving the battle against Gunvolt. He may have left Sumeragi as well considering the top brass believe him to be dead in ASG2.
Location: Nova's Glaives: Chapter 9
Theory#10: Apollo may be someone else.
Apollo could possibly be Dr. Kamizono. This can be seen on Apollo's sprite in the image pulse menus. Apollo's sprite has red eyes instead of purple. While both the sprite and illustration have white hair. Apollo's purple eyes may be to represent Asimov's purple eyes, since he was experimented on at S-FIT. Apollo's glasses could represent Asimov's visor as well. The pendant may be a poke fun of the ASG3 joke ending. Where Mytyl can be seen wearing a pendant of Lola. Enchanted bells were handed down in Copen's family for generations, which he gave to Lola. The pendant Apollo wears could be to demonstrate the shaky relationship he had with Mytyl who was the original Muse Adept. Apollo is also said to have had a past as a hitman. This makes sense, considering Dr. Kamizono had the original Border revolver to eliminate Adepts specifically. He may have been forced to return to Sumeragi under the guise of Apollo if Sumeragi found out he was still alive.
Location: Apollo's True Identity: Chapter 10
Theory#11: Dr. Kamizono may be an Adept.
Dr. Kamizono may have posed as a human to work for Sumeragi rather than suffer the experimentation himself. If the previous theory is true, then Sumeragi would not have treated him well. Him having a Septima may explain why he knows about them so well. It could also explain why Mytyl was born an Adept if one was her parent, increasing the chance for her to be born with a Septima. His hate for Adepts may not be a hatred but sorrow for knowing what they go through and the guilt of making them suffer.
Location: The Researching Adept: Chapter 11
Theory#12: The Mother Computer may be Copen's mother.
There is no official design for Copen's mother, she is only acknowledged in an ASG2 conversation between Copen and Mytyl. The Mother Computer had purple eyes similar to Apollo's design, possibly hinting at a connection between the two. She also was determined to have white hair rather than green in the scrapped design on the ASG fandom. Her hair is similar to Mytyl's in appearance as well. One theory claimed that Shinobu Kamizono was Copen and Mytyl's mother. However, this cannot be true because Dr. Kamizono's eye color is stated to be red in Fleeting Memories and Shinobu's eyes are blue. Mytyl's eyes are orange, so the possibility is nonexistent.
Location: Computer Mother: Chapter 12
Theory#13: Joule may have been experimented on by Dr. Kamizono.
Joule gained the entirety of the Muse Septima while working for Sumeragi. However, Dr. Kamizono is the only known employee to have access to Mytyl. He may have implanted the Septima into Joule after removing it from Mytyl. In ASG1, Joule asks Gunvolt if he's a scientist during the Anthem mission dialogue. The machine made for Joule as Adept sonar was also made by Dr. Kamizono as well. This was confirmed by Nova during the conversation between him and Gunvolt that takes place before the fight. He may have been assigned to Joule specifically because of his knowledge regarding the Muse Septima.
Location: Joule, The Mytyl Remake: Chapter 13
Theory#14: Gunvolt's escape was known, but Asimov's wasn't.
Sumeragi covered up all known traces of the S-FIT incident, even to its employees. The only people in Sumeragi that know of the event are the delegates and the people at S-FIT during that time. Nobody knew that Asimov was Takefutsu when he broke in to rescue GV.
Location: The Escape Artists: Chapter 14
Theory#15: Dr. Kamizono faked his own death.
Dr. Kamizono may have falsely reported the explosion to fake his death for reasons unknown. To make it seem true, he gave Copen his gun and research as inheritance. This also ensured that the data didn't seem to survive so nobody would know the truth.
Location: Death Faking: Chapter 15
Theory#16: ATEMS equals control over atoms.
Zed is known as the leader of the antagonist group ATEMS in ASG3. His Septima, Golden Trillions, is known to have some dominion over entire atoms. The name of his team may be a reference to his power over both the Adepts he leads and his capability to weild atoms. While Gunvolt can only manipulate electrons rather than whole atoms.
Location: ATEMS Versus Atoms: Chapter 16
Theory#17: Joule is a clone of Mytyl.
Joule has red eyes similar in color to Copen's. If Mytyl's DNA was used to create Joule, it could explain why her eyes are red. It would also answer why Joule was able to retain the Muse Septima even though she wasn't born yet. In Fleeting Memories, Dr. Kamizono is said to have platinum blond hair, while there is no mention of Copen's mother's hair color. In ASG2, Mytyl and Joule fused. This may be because they shared similar genetic structures.
Location: Mytyl's Clone: Chapter 17
Theory#18: Demerzel hid in Dystnine to get close to Copen and learn more about him.
Demerzel's voice when defeated sounds like Demerzel's voice over the speakers. The supposed "Hard Light Septima" may be Demerzel's Azure Striker. The Azure Striker can create solid chains, so the "clones" of the Falcons may come from Demerzel's Septima. The swords Dystnine uses are similar in appearance to ones made of yellow lightning, possibly implying a hidden Demerzel.
Location: Demerzel's Disguise: Chapter 18
Theory#19: Nova knew about S-FIT.
In the first ASG game, Nova references Dr. Kamizono twice. The first time being when Copen is mentioned and the second after Gunvolt sees the machine at Firmament. In the official wiki fandom, it states that S-FIT was not under Nova's jurisdiction. After Gunvolt defeated the Mantis Legion, Nova made a retort that Gunvolt loved destroying their "new toys". In the official wiki, it was stated that the original Mantis and Mantis Legion were developed at S-FIT. Meaning that during Nova's time with Sumeragi, S-FIT was still operating. S-FIT's official website was taken down once the facility was originally destroyed. In this sense, Kirin wouldn't have been able to access its data. Unless, Sumeragi's executives kept the data for themselves under strict digital security. Kirin most likely would have requested Gunvolt to use his Azure Striker to unlock it if this were the case. It was stated that no records of what caused S-FIT's destruction could be found within Sumeragi's official files. Meanwhile, Copen had the researcher's files and gun as his inheritance. Sumeragi would need to have access to them to alter the data, henceforth allowing them to falsify it. In the Nova's Memories audio drama, one of the scientists said they lost priceless research in that accident. Which could mean what happened at S-FIT was used as a cautionary tale Nova overheard. The same scientist made the claim shortly after that they shouldn't make the same mistake.

Theory#20: Sumeragi pulled the wool over the Dragon Savior's eyes and played them for fools.
In ASG3's Karma mission, Teseo, Merak, Viper, Jota, Tenjian and Zonda can be fought. Rather than being generated by Serpentine, it's most likely she didn't generate the enemies since there was no fog in the room for her to do so. Kirin didn't state anything about S-FIT being rebuilt, possibly pointing out the idea that S-FIT never burned down. Eden may have agreed to work with Sumeragi after Zonda was defeated. ATEMS seems to be cooperating too, allowing Sumeragi to learn what they did about Primal Dragons. Gunvolt could have succumbed to the radiation, causing him to fall asleep as his Lifewave adjusted from 7th to 8th. On the wiki fandom, all other Dragon Saviors members are stated to have remained Adepts, regardless of their exposure to Primal Dragon Radiation. During his sleep, Sumeragi may have requested aid from Shadow Yakumo to deal with this development. Because of her Septima, Kirin was sent in to deal with Gunvolt's situation. She could have faked her surprise, purpose for visiting S-FIT and more based on requests she was informed of through Shadow Yakumo from Sumeragi. During Gunvolt's sleep, Sumeragi may have hired Eden to work for them. Copen could still exist, having turned himself into a cyborg at random to strengthen himself for future battles. Asimov's transformation to Demerzel may have been caused by Dragon Radiation. He may have faced a similar situation to Gunvolt, believing that turning himself in to Sumeragi would be his only hope. The alternate universe teleportation might be Merak using his Septima to send Copen far away to another Sumeragi owned facility in the same world. At least for long enough for Sumeragi to get their work done in peace. IX2's Grave Pillar was possibly a testing facility for mechs on different terrain. The area included someone to oversee operations in the form of the Mother Computer. Ypsilon could have been a test combat android made to resemble Copen for fighting purposes. Moebius could have awakened once Gunvolt turned into a Primal Dragon, since he told Gunvolt he wanted to prevent him from destroying the world. Considering the way Moebius was seen as a threat, Sumeragi, Eden, ATEMS and Shadow Yakumo could have banded together to try and kill Moebius after he awakened. ATEMS may have been working with Shadow Yakumo and referred to Moebius awakening instead of Gunvolt. With the amount of information Zed had regarding Primal Dragons, his research team may have been warned by Shadow Yakumo's soothsayer. In addition, said soothsayer could be one of Copen's relatives. This may be true since some of his relatives on his mother's side are known to have ties to Sumeragi. One of them may have decided to not work for Sumeragi and created Shadow Yakumo instead. Copen's existence in the ASG3 universe is likely since the events of IX happened a century after ASG2. Meanwhile, the events of ASG3 happened only decades after those of ASG2. Indicating that Copen would have to survive ASG3 to live in the IX storyline.

Theory#21: Nova was able to obtain the Azure Striker because of his emotions.
In the audio drama "Nova's Memories", he was fearful Sumeragi would abandon him after a test of him possibly weilding the Azure Striker was deemed a failure. In the ASG3 "Third Revenger" boss fight, Nova is revealed to now have the same Septima he previously lacked. This is possible due to Septimas being considered a soul given form of emotions. They are also claimed to be strongly connected to an Adept's consciousness and willpower. Due to that, Nova may have had enough of an intense desire and fear to have the Azure Striker Septima that his body allowed him to manifest it with modifications from his Psychokinesis.
Location: The Psychokinesis Striker: Chapter 21
Theory#22: Asimov's wiretap happened before or after the dialogue from Urban Run.
According to an audio drama, Asimov wiretapped a conversation between Nova and Merak regarding Eden's attack on the Kamishiro barrier generator. Lumen may have been kidnapped to ensure the barrier stayed up somehow since her Septima can manipulate electrons. Since Nova was talking with Merak, he possibly called Merak back or sent him a message requesting that he obtain Joule/Lumen. She was possibly taken to turn Gunvolt's attention elsewhere and distract Asimov. After the wiretap, the device was left, which allowed Nova to hack Gunvolt's comm frequency and communicate with him. This was confirmed when Gunvolt called the red Mantis tank a child toy, with Nova following up by saying how Gunvolt loved ruining the company's "new toys". Nova could have been interested in seeing what the Septima he wanted could do and forced Gunvolt to meet him at Firmament, hoping to steal the Azure Striker.
Location: Wiretapping Kidnapping: Chapter 22
Theory#23: Rebellio was at the Laboratory Block.
In the background of IX2's Laboratory Block, strands of red can be seen in different areas of the stage. This could be the stringy Septima of Rebellio's Energy Wool. The world of IX2 might be the same world as that of IX, with Copen merely sent somewhere else by a Septima capable of teleportation.
Location: Cutting Lab Ties: Chapter 23
Theory#24: Dr. Kamizono may have been the one responsible for Gunvolt's sealing.
In Azure Striker Gunvolt 3, Kirin quotes an excerpt from what is obviously one of Dr. Kamizono's files. She mentions the lead researcher of the Septima Research Project "said this decades ago". During the start of the boss fight against dragonized Gunvolt, Corvette said they had no issues with his sealing for decades. This could possibly implore that along with this evidence and how he was the lead researcher for Project Gunvolt that he was around to seal Gunvolt.
Location: Decades Sealing: Chapter 24
Theory#25: Both Joule and Gunvolt may have been created by Dr. Kamizono.
In part 4 of Fleeting Memories, it's stated that Dr. Kamizono once worked with a different research team that created artificial Adepts. Joule most likely was created by him because Mytyl was the original one to have the Muse Septima. Therefore making him the only one to be capable of accessing it and having a better understanding of how it works. He possibly created Gunvolt as well because he was the lead researcher of Project Gunvolt. Dr. Kamizono experimented on Asimov and possibly collected some of his Azure Striker Septimosome from blood to save and use at a later date. The saved Septimosome sample would have been used on Gunvolt once he was created. The original version of the Glaives was used during ASG1 and ASG2. Gunvolt was sealed using these, and Dr. Kamizono mentioned the progess on them in Fleeting Memories. He may have furthered their sealing capabilities to deal with Primal Dragons.
Location: Fleeting Projects: Chapter 25
Theory#26: Quill may be a part of Sumeragi.
In Chapter 4 of Fleeting Memories, Dr. Kamizono stated that he desired to quit working on Septima research. However, they refused to let him quit, the only way he could was in death. Asimov was the test subject for Project Gunvolt at the time. Both Quill and Sumeragi have facilities scattered internationally. Gunvolt reveals in the Datastore that Sumeragi has them scattered all over the world. The international buildings Quill has could possibly be workplaces Sumeragi uses for Quill members to access data. If so, Quill may act independently of Sumeragi but still be considered a subsidiary corporation. But considering the lack of proper clearance, all Quill members are attacked by Sumeragi soldiers. Asimov was ex-Sumeragi along with Gunvolt who now both work for Quill. But in Luminous Avenger IX, Asimov returned to working for Sumeragi. Gunvolt did so in Azure Striker Gunvolt 3. They were both welcomed back without so much as a second thought, with Asimov having a high power position. According to data on Nova's page on the wiki fandom, Nova managed to find Gunvolt's comm frequency. This could imply that Gunvolt's comm frequency needed to be reached by someone from Sumeragi or they were the ones to preset it. Or that Nova found the wiretapping device and had Merak modified it to link up with Gunvolt's comm. Gunvolt suspected that the Septima enhancing equipment Quill uses may be similar to the Glaives that Sumeragi's Adepts use.
Location: Sumeragi's Shadow Corp: Chapter 26
Theory#27: Asimov may have been the first Primal Dragon.
In Fleeting Memories chapter 5, it was stated that Asimov let loose a massive blast of lightning, possibly from a lack of control over his Azure Striker Septima. In the wiki fandom, it's said that he couldn't fully control his Septima, hence the visor. He claimed that Gunvolt and Joule were finally ready to usher in the new era as "King and Queen" before shooting them with the Border. Dragon Radiation could have caused this lack of both mental and Septimal control. In ASG3, Asimov still mentions King and Queen, with Kirin now being the latter. Asimov says Gunvolt still hasn't welcomed his fate, possibly referring to the oncoming fusion with Moebius. The natural born Primal Dragon is also said to be their true ruler and king. As a Primal Dragon himself, Asimov may have been able to resonate with him just as Gunvolt did. Both Asimov and Moebius can be associated with Sumeragi, Gunvolt and the Azure Striker Septima. Moebius may have existed since the first game and been held in S-FIT. He could have informed Asimov of what Gunvolt would do in the future and Asimov helped him to try and stop it. In Luminous Avenger IX, Demerzel states that Copen is a cyborg "too". Shortly after, he states that he has attained a pure electronic form. A cyborg by definition is a human with robotic parts to replace functions or parts of the body. This statement shows a signs of insanity possibly caused by Dragon Radiation. Gunvolt being called King by Asimov and Moebius being the king of the Primal Dragons could have been a hint at future events.
Location: The Berserk Dragon: Chapter 27
Theory#28: Zed may have originally had Moebius in his possession.
In ASG3, Zed has a lot of information on Moebius, which has been made public. This may have been done in an attempt to guilt trip Sumeragi into returning the Primal Dragon's ruler to ATEMS. Considering Zed is associated with a monarchy, Sumeragi may have feared some sort of higher power threatening them. The Djinn Septima may have been keeping Moebius sealed, rather than the Glaives. Just like Gunvolt, he may have been accumulating power under the surface. The wiki fandom mentions an overseas company, Eunos, which may be a corporation Zed or the monarchy he is part of oversees. Through this collaboration, Zed may have gained data about Sumeragi and its goals. His research team had a plethora of information, especially considering how much Zed knew about Astral Order, Moebius, and the idea of an Octima. The technology agreement he mentioned in the ATEMS Epilogue may have been going on far in advance. Moebius could have been part of the trade or held as ransom. Sumeragi could have wanted something from Zed, ATEMS or something from the foreign country he's from. Even holding Moebius in S-FIT to ensure the mech's construction was completed properly.
Location: Astral Deal: Chapter 28
Theory#29: Dragon Radiation comes from both Primal Dragons and the dragon veins.
In ASG3, Lumen said Dragon Radiation would spread to every corner of the world in a matter of days after Moebius awoke. He was removed from the secret room in S-FIT with the Binding Brands. Once the Brands were removed, the seal on the veins was removed too. This could have caused the increase in radiation exhibited in Primal Dragons and the worldwide destruction Gunvolt could cause. The Binding Brands may have begun to lose their sealing abilities and the dragon veins power could have increased. In the true ending, there is said to be an outbreak of Primal Dragons, hinting that ATEMS may not have put the Brands back. Dragon Radiation spread from Gunvolt originally due to Gunvolt Electric. Black Badge was near Christmas lights, Shiron was near an arcade and Apollo was in an automated facility. Meanwhile, Cayman was at a temple that featured a high tech gate and automated defense systems. Moebius power may have increased enough to allow him to fuse with and control Gunvolt with the removal of the Brands. Gunvolt's power could have increased further, causing a severe lack of control over his Azure Striker from the massive amount of Dragon Radiation.
Location: Irradiated Brands: Chapter 29
Theory#30: Dr. Kamizono may have double crossed Sumeragi by working with Shadow Yakumo on Glaive creation.
In Fleeting Memories, Dr. Kamizono tells his assistant that "we've made some measure of progress" in regards to Glaives. But in ASG3, Kirin states that Shadow Yakumo had been smithing and distributing Glaives for generations. The wiki states that Sumeragi's sister company is the one in charge of creating and overseeing Glaives as well. The we that Dr. Kamizono mentioned is either a reference to his assistant or Shadow Yakumo. He may have told Shadow Yakumo about the unethical use and functions of Glaives. This may have pushed them to make different versions or he was hoping to be fired. In Fleeting Memories Part 4, Dr. Kamizono mentioned that he desired to quit working for Sumeragi. If he informed Shadow Yakumo of Sumeragi's ongoing misdeeds, Sumeragi would collapse or fire him in his hopes.
