Theory#19: Nova knew about S-FIT.

In the first ASG game, Nova references Dr. Kamizono twice. The first time being when Copen is mentioned and the second after Gunvolt sees the machine at Firmament. In the official wiki fandom, it states that S-FIT was not under Nova's jurisdiction. After Gunvolt defeated the Mantis Legion, Nova made a retort that Gunvolt loved destroying their "new toys". In the official wiki, it was stated that the original Mantis and Mantis Legion were developed at S-FIT. Meaning that during Nova's time with Sumeragi, S-FIT was still operating. S-FIT's official website was taken down once the facility was originally destroyed. In this sense, Kirin wouldn't have been able to access its data. Unless, Sumeragi's executives kept the data for themselves under strict digital security. Kirin most likely would have requested Gunvolt to use his Azure Striker to unlock it if this were the case. It was stated that no records of what caused S-FIT's destruction could be found within Sumeragi's official files. Meanwhile, Copen had the researcher's files and gun as his inheritance. Sumeragi would need to have access to them to alter the data, henceforth allowing them to falsify it. In the Nova's Memories audio drama, one of the scientists said they lost priceless research in that accident. Which could mean what happened at S-FIT was used as a cautionary tale Nova overheard. The same scientist made the claim shortly after that they shouldn't make the same mistake.

Project Muse was a failure, and it was all Nova's fault. Lumen, Sumeragi's beloved Cyber Diva and Muse Adept had been kidnapped by Gunvolt, a Quill terrorist. Because he was the project leader and Defense Unit manager. It made for a harder blow for him to deal with. Under normal circumstances, he would've been sent off with a warning. This time however, he was facing heavy scrutiny from the top brass.

"This is absolutely absurd! How could you let those terrorists obtain Lumen!? It was a sure mistake to let a teenager lead the efforts!" the red tie executive fumed.

"It's too late to lament the past, we need to focus on getting Lumen back. We may have to request Dr. Kamizono's assistance. However, he may not agree to aid us in this. We'll have Nova make up for this by calling his assistant." the purple tie executive responded.

It was decided that Nova would be a necessary sacrifice for the better of Sumeragi and Japan as a whole.

"Mr. Yamato, I regret to inform you that the test subject your superior has been using was kidnapped. We were hoping your department could conjure something to aid us in retreiving her." Nova notified.

"The Spyder Unit is still in the testing phase, we can't send out any more Mantis tanks either. But, I do believe Eunos has finished the tank we requested." Mr. Yamato answered.

"I'll take it, we need everything available across the board. Thank you Mr. Yamato, you've been a huge help." Nova thanked before ending the call.

He couldn't tell if that took weight off his shoulders or just added to it. The tension between him and the executives was so thick you could cut it was a Luxcalibur sword.

"Hey GV, did you fight a guy named Copen before?" Kirin asked.

"Yeah, that was the non-human I told you about." Gunvolt confirmed.

"He clearly had something against Adepts. At first, he didn't know what I was talking about. But then he brought up something called Project Muse. Wasn't Nova a part of it?" Kirin added.

"It was a project to use his sister's Septima to track other Adepts. The Septima was originally Mytyl's. But it was transplanted into Joule who generated Lumen. Lumen's songs were used as Adept sonar, but pre-recorded audios were safe to listen to without the side effects. At first, Quill thought she was just program data. To find out she was an actual girl, that was shocking to say the least." Gunvolt answered.

Kirin laughed, to which Gunvolt raised a curious brow.

"I'm sorry, you just said shocking, and you're an Azure Striker." Kirin cackled.

"You can at least take me seriously." Gunvolt growled while rolling his eyes.

"I found some papers that Sumeragi modified. Shiron was able to fix the modifications to show the original file. Have a look." Kirin notified.

Gunvolt walked over and stood on his hind legs to look at Kirin's computer. His eyes widened after realizing what he was looking at.

"This is Asimov's old file. He was the first Project Gunvolt test subject." Gunvolt gasped.

"There's even some writing on those tanks you told me about. Turns out they were from S-FIT. Corvette said they rebuilt the facility. But this data says otherwise. If we want to get to the bottom of this, we'll have to ask him." Kirin replied.

She stormed over to Corvette's office, the door was already open. The executive had his hands full with paperwork on the desk in a few assorted piles. He looked up with a startle to see Shadow Yakumo's battle priestess.

"Why did Sumeragi lie about S-FIT's destruction? Was it meant to hide the existence of Moebius from the world? How long has he been around for exactly?" Kirin interrogated.

"I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to answer that. That's a question you'll have to ask someone else. I can call him in if you want." Corvette responded.

Kirin nodded, indicating her approval. Corvette made a call to S-FIT.

"He'll be here in twenty minutes. There's some papers you can file in the meantime I just sent to your computer." Corvette stated.

While she was filling out the paperwork, Corvette called her to return to his office. After five minutes of waiting, someone stepped into the office. He had white spiky hair, red eyes behind visor like glasses, a full sleeve labcoat ending at the wrists and above the knees, khaki pants and black shoes.
