Bruce rubs her eyes as she shuffles into the lab. "What time is it?" She wonders as she makes her way toward a chiming computer. It is very bright outside, so she's certain it is mid-day and can't believe she had slept so long. She taps the screen hoping it will show the time, but it is covered by an incoming-call demanding her response.

Bruce hits the answer button and a handsome looking woman with long wavy hair is standing too close to the camera. "Tony?" she says. "Tony, I know you're in there. FRIDAY updated me this morning. Tony?"

"This isn't Tony. This is Bruce." She was curious as to when Tony got back, because she had been up until nearly three AM waiting for her. "Who is this?"

"Bruce?" The woman asks. "It's me, Happy... Can you let me in?"

Despite the overwhelming urge to look for Tony now, Bruce chooses to rush to the front door.

"Thanks." Happy says as the cool fresh air from outside hits Bruce in the face. She wasn't ready for the full wake up. "Have you seen Tony?" Happy inquires as she rushes in. "I brought donuts." Bruce notices the large box in her hand now.

"No..." Bruce responds. "I uh... He didn't come back last night."

"The system said one of the cars returned around 4:30 this morning." Happy looks around as she enters the lab. "I couldn't check the cameras because FRIDAY doesn't fully recognize me. Tony!"

Bruce gets nervous about the shouting. "He must have arrived after I fell asleep. I haven't seen him at all."

"He's probably in one of the rooms." Happy sets the donuts down on a dirty table. "Let's go find him." She turns to go down the nearest hallway. "He should be awake by now."

Bruce starts to panic as she was not ready to confront her problems first thing in the morning. "Shouldn't we wait a bit? let her sleep?"

"We could." Happy acknowledges this, "but I need access to the system, along with over half of our staff. Tony's the only one who can do that." Happy reaches the first bedroom. "He also doesn't sleep much, so chances are he's wandering around here somewhere." She pushes the door open to look in. "Hopefully already letting us back into the system."

Bruce contemplates going back to her room to think, but instead decides to reason with Happy. "Well, you see, Happy. I don't think she really wants to see me right now..."

"Good morning, Captain." Happy says, sounding somewhat embarrassed. "You're looking well."

Bruce, thrown off by the greeting, peaks into the room to see something she wasn't expecting. Steve Rodgers is sitting in the bed, halfway covered, with his left arm still wrapped around a sleeping Tony Stark. Her arm is also wrapped around him and she almost appears to be smiling.

"Sorry to bother you." Happy tells Steve. "I didn't realize you had company." She turns away, then immediately turns back. "This is Happy by the way... Carry on." Happy rushes further down the hall, feeling embarrassed, as Captain Rogers tries to speak up.

Before the door can fully shut on its own, Bruce reaches out to hold it open. "Happy, this is Tony!" Steve tries to call out but goes unheard. Bruce continues to stare as a mixed barrage of emotions runs over her.

"As I was saying." Happy tries to pretend she didn't see anything questionable as she moves toward the next room. "Aside from Pepper having access. The only person who can give full administrative permissions is Tony himself..." She pushes the next door open.

Bruce is still staring at the Captain and Tony, in shock.

"Morning Bruce... are you alright?" Steve asks.

Bruce can still hear Happy speaking in the distance, but she sounds muffled now, as if she's under water. "Bruce?" Steve calls her name once more. Bruce looks at Tony, her eyes linger. She looks at Steve. He is right there, but it feels like he is miles away. Like he is someone else. Back to Tony.

"What's that sound?" Someone says, off in the distance. "Dr. Banner?" The same voice calls out. Everything starts turning red.

"Bruce Banner!" Happy says as he grabs onto her arm, snapping her out of a daze.

"Hmm... What?" Bruce asks as she gains hold of reality.

"Are you okay?" Happy asks. "Were you just growling?"

"Growling?" Bruce repeats.

"Is she alright?" Captain America asks from inside the room. Bruce is now afraid to look again.

"I don't know." Happy responds. She places her hands on both of Bruce's arms in an attempt to ground her. "Are you ok, Bruce?" She tries to lock eyes. "Are you feeling sick? You look a little green?"

Bruce's eyes widened slightly with concern. "I can't be here." She pulls away from Happy and turns to walk away. Despite her worries she risks one last glance at Tony. It was clearly a bad idea as she recoils her gaze instantly to rush away.

"Bruce!" Happy calls out. "Hey.. Bruce?" Happy turns back toward Steve Rogers. "Sorry about that. Is she going to be alright?"

"I don't know." He is also legitimately confused. Tony moves a little, seeming to get more comfortable.

"Have you seen Tony?" Happy risks asking. "It's kind of urgent."

"Yeah," Steve smirks, "that's what I was trying to tell you."

"Oh, great." Happy is elated. "Where is he?"

"She's right here..." Steve gestures toward Tony?

"She?" Happy asks, realizing she already forgot the obvious. She peaks further into the room looking for her quandary. "Where is she?"

"Happy," Steve raises a hand and touches Tony's shoulder, "This is Tony."

"Tony?" Happy's eyes go wide.

Captain America nods.

"Tony, Tony?" She is still having trouble processing what she is seeing.

"It's her, Happy." Steve reassures her.

Happy's eyes dart up and down as she thinks about this unexpected predicament. She notices they are both dressed, at least from the waist up, so she makes the assumption nothing questionable had occurred. She peeks out the door, looking for Bruce, who is already out of sight, then back toward the bed. "What time did you guys go to bed?"

"I don't know." Steve runs a hand through his hair, which is still somewhat long, but no longer curly. "Maybe 4:30 or 5:00 AM."

Happy looks at her watch feeling flabbergasted. "And she's still asleep?" Her eyebrows raise, almost in panic. "Tony never sleeps this much." She starts rushing into the room. "Is she feverish?"

"I don't think so." The Captain starts to answer as Happy rushes closer. She places her hand on Tony's head, and feels her arm.

"She feels clammy. Does she feel clammy to you?"

"I hadn't noticed." Steve starts to answer. Tony is clearly starting to stir as she pulls away from both Happy and the Captain.

"Tony, are you feeling okay?" Happy calls out loudly. "Should I call a doctor? Is it your heart."

"It's too early." Tony mumbles as she buries her head in a pillow.

"Tony, I just need to make sure you're alright." Happy is still talking louder than she needs to. "You've been unconscious for over eight hours..."

"Go away!" She throws her pillow at Happy without looking.

"She seems comprehensive." Happy turns toward Steve Rogers. "Did she say she wasn't feeling well? Anything?"

"No, we were just having drinks." Steve answers.

"I'm just trying to sleep!" Tony snaps turning toward Happy, but not actually opening her eyes. "I do sleep sometimes."

"No you don't." Happy responds then looks toward the captain, "No, she doesn't." Happy circles around the bed. "Tony, you need to get up. Everything is in chaos."

Steve Rodgers is somewhat shocked by how calmly Happy says this.

"Call me when it's over." Tony buries her face in the pillow while Steve Rogers takes the moment to finally crawl out of bed.

"That's not funny Tony, we need your help." Happy counters.

"I'm gonna go check on Bruce." Captain America says, trying to get out of the room.

"Don't go far!" Tony shouts, face still in a pillow.

Steve is somewhat thrown off by the request, but nods a reply, unsure if Tony saw him.

"That's cute that you guys are getting along again, but I need you to get us all back into the system." Happy says as the Captain leaves the room.

Steve makes his way down the hall happy to stretch his legs again. It surprised him that despite being a super soldier, he can still get exhausted from sitting still too long. "Bruce?" He calls.

Even though it's midday, there is quite a bit of light getting into the lab. Steve peers around, but still can't seem to find Bruce. "Dr. Banner?"

Something crashes. Steve Rogers quickly follows the sound to find his query sitting on the floor behind one of the computers. She has her eyes closed and is breathing slowly and heavily.

"There you are." Steve Rogers approaches Bruce lowering to a kneel. "Is everything alright?"

"Yes.." She does not sound too convincing.

He recognizes the breathing technique Bruce is doing as an anxiety tactic, and wonders how best to address the situation. "Are you going to be ok?'

"Yes..." Bruce responds, still breathing deeply. She squints her eyes hard before relaxing them. "I don't know..." she adds.

"Do you want to talk about it?" Steve asks.

Bruce contemplates the offer, but the thought of talking to the Captain does not feel helpful. "I don't know..." She repeats, breathing a little more heavily.

Steve picks up the hint, feeling helpless. "Do you want me to call someone?"

Bruce's eyebrows furl as she thinks of who she might be able to talk to. She tried Natasha last night, but got no answer. She had no idea where Valkyrie could be. She was afraid to call Betty. The only other person was Tony. The very thought of Tony made her stress more.

"Is there anyone you c..."

"There's no one!" Bruce grumbles loudly in a deep voice. This catches her off guard, making her and even Steve recoil. She looks at him, suddenly afraid of herself. A feeling that was all too familiar. 'I'm sorry..." The fear of crying is starting to make her more upset also.

"It's ok, Bruce." The Captain tries to reassure her. "I'm here for you." He offers a hand to help ground her emotions.

Bruce looks at the Captain's hand and a flash of Tony wrapped in his arms pops into her head. "I can't be here." She declares. "I have to go." She jumps up and contemplates packing a suitcase.

"Are you sure Bruce?"

"Just..." she interrupts aggressively, but can't finish. She has to calm herself down, but can't seem to do it. She tries looking at Steve Rogers, but it flusters her even more. "I have to get out of here." She rushes toward the exit, afraid to even pack.

Steve can feel the tension coming off her, but is at a loss for words. "Bruce..."

"Steve! Don't take this the wrong way..." Bruce catches herself saying before she can stop herself, "I just can't talk to you right now!"

The Captain cannot think of anything to say as he watches her rush down the hall to leave.

Bruce feels guilty, but is afraid to look back. She contemplates apologizing, but knows she can't. As she reaches the door, she wonders if Scott Lang or Tony will wonder where she went. This causes her to pause. 'Of course Tony won't care.' She thinks, but can't help but still fear that they'll worry. "If anyone asks..." Bruce tries to think of something reassuring and grabs the first thing that pops in her head, "tell them I went to see my family." She rushes out, quickly shutting the door behind her.

Steve watches the door for a long while, contemplating if he should chase her. He decides against it and turns away to go check on Tony and Happy. Fortunately they are both rushing into the lab.

"I don't know why you didn't lead with that?" Tony snaps at Happy in a tone that almost resembles her male one.

"I didn't think it was that urgent Tony." Happy responds. "May said not to worry."

"And you just took her word for it?" Tony grumbles as she approaches a monitor and starts taping icons. "Aren't you supposed to be providing me with updates?"

"You've been distracted, sir." Happy defends. "And isn't this, technically providing you with an update?"

Tony looks up menacingly at Happy who is now significantly taller than her.

"Somehow that look is more intimidating than when you were still a male." Happy looks away.

"How long has she been missing?" Tony continues to tap at the screen.

"About three days."

"Three days!" Tony's glares at Happy.

"What's going on?" Steve asks as he approaches.

"She's not showing up on any satellites..." Tony swipes the screen a few times and video footage of Peter Parker fighting someone flashes on the screen. "Friday, when is the last time you have an exact location on the kid?"

"She was last seen outside a cafe downtown Manhattan." Friday updates. "Cameras capture her in several locations, but her suit is pinned in roughly the center of all the comotion." Several variations of Spider-Man appear on the screen.

"Was she having a costume party?" Happy wonders aloud.

"What is all this?" Steve Rogers leans in, getting a better look at what appears to be a mechanical spider.

"The kid's missing." Tony replies. "Come help me look." She tells him.

Steve moves in closer to the nearest screen. "Is that her?" He points at the Spider-Man with the hair clip. "She looks about the right size."

"I think so." Tony taps the image and starts playing the video footage.

"I've got her." A woman Says.

"Who's that?" someone off camera asks.

"I don't know." another voice answers.

Something opens up behind Peter and she seems to fly through.

"Is that a portal?" Happy asks locking eyes briefly with Tony. "Do you think... Dr, Strange?"

"It's not the right color." Tony responds. "I've never seen a blue one, and it appears too clean. Almost like a laser."

"Who's that woman?" Steve asks, as a second figure crosses through.

"Friday?" Tony inquires.

"I am not finding her on any facial recognition software. It could be due to the recent gender changes." Friday responds.

"Why wouldn't May tell me about something like this?" Happy wonders aloud. "I thought we were close..."

"So what are we looking at here, Tony?" Captain America asks.

"If I had to guess," a strange and unexpected voice interrupts. All three turn around to see a heavyset dark complected man standing in the lab behind them. He continues talking as if him being there was not unexpected at all. "It looks like someone with a dimension hopper dragged your friend into the void between universes."

"Who's that?" Happy whispers, lightly turning toward Tony, but not looking away.

Tony steps in front of Steve and Happy to address the stranger. "I'm sorry, this is a private facility. Only members allowed."

"Tony Stark, my name is Phastos." The stranger says, calmly. "You don't know me, but I need your help."

"God of forgery." Tony rolls her eyes as she says this. "Does this have anything to do with Thor, because we don't have time right now."

"Well, maybe you know me a little." Phastos responds both a little upset and amused. "But it has nothing to do with Thor. Your planet is in danger."

"Yeah.. hehe. When isn't it?" Happy retorts.

Phastos looks at Happy, contemplating how to respond.

"What she said." Tony adds. "We don't have time for side quests, so please see yourself out."

"You're right in that assessment. We really don't have time." Phastos says this with heavy concern. "Your world is going to end if we don't do something quick. The planet's already..."

"Look, whatever is coming, we can handle it." Tony interrupts him. "Just write it on a sticky note and leave it on a counter somewhere."

"I wouldn't be asking for your help if I didn't need it, but we don't have time left!" Phastos is getting a little flustered.

"Listen," Tony is losing patience also, "It's not that I don't trust you..." She thinks for a moment. "Actually, yeah. You managed to get past my security system, so I don't trust you."

"I knew your father." Phastos replies. "I used to work with him."

Tony looks Phastos up and down, feeling like he looks too young to know Howard. He decides to give him the benefit of the doubt. "Yeah, so did a lot of people." She turns back toward the computer monitor.

"I helped him develop 'Badassium.'"

Tony pauses then turns back toward Phastos, looking somewhat shocked. "How do you know that word?"

Phastos smiles. "That's what he called it," he points at the triangular arc reactor on Tony's bust. "In his notes."

"He also thanked you in his notes... His private notes." Tony tells him. "I thought he was being superstitious." She looks Phastos up and down, suspiciously.

"What's badassium?" Captain America asks.

"It's my father's nickname for this element." Tony taps her reactor.

I did'nt know that..." Happy adds.

"Mr. Phastos, you have my attention, but make it quick. We have to find someone." She turns away to look at the computer monitor.

"Mr. Stark, there is no easy way to say this, so I'm just going to be blunt." Phastos steps closer. "I need to borrow your drone satellite." Tony stops working immediately. Phastos hesitates to finish, but knows he has to. "I also need to borrow your drones."

Tony thumps her fist on the computer, a little harder than she wants to, before turning around. "It seems top-secret means nothing around here." She looks at Happy momentarily, who just shrugs, still confused. She contemplates asking Phastos how he knows about this, but realizes it won't make a difference. "What makes you think I would trust a stranger with an army of defense drones?"

"Because, I'm just using them to move something." Phastos smiles.

"Move something?" Happy asks while Tony tilts her head.

"Yes," Phastos holds out his hand. "This..." a glowing holographic orb projects above his palm. He lets it slowly rotate, so they can see that it is actually a model of the Earth.

Tony furls her brows wondering if Phastos really means to move the entire planet. Before she can ask, the model stops spinning and it seems to zoom in on the Asian Sea. The point of view dives into the planet, zooming in on something extremely large.

"What am I looking at?" Tony's eyes widen in shock.

"Is that..." Happy is equally confused, "a person?"

Phastos smiles awkwardly.
