Starlight Apartment*

Part 1: Move-In Day*

The sun rose like a golden promise over Tokyo, casting streaks of light across the city as a moving van rumbled to a stop in front of a modest apartment building. The complex, named Starlight Apartment, stood tall with its white and pastel pink exterior—a little worn but full of charm. It was a place of beginnings, and for the Sailor Guardians, it marked the start of a new chapter.

"I can't believe we're finally doing this!" Usagi Tsukino, better known as Sailor Moon, twirled on the sidewalk, nearly dropping a box labeled *Snacks Manga*. Her long twin tails fluttered behind her like ribbons.

"Careful, Usagi-chan!" Ami Mizuno, Sailor Mercury, adjusted her grip on a box of books. "You don't want to break anything before we even get inside."

"I hope our neighbors don't mind the occasional explosion," Rei Hino, Sailor Mars, muttered, glancing at Minako Aino (Sailor Venus) and Makoto Kino (Sailor Jupiter), who was struggling to fit a couch through the doorway.

"Lift your side higher, Mako-chan!" Minako yelped, her voice muffled as the couch pressed against her face.

"I am lifting it higher! Maybe if you stopped kicking the wall, it would fit!" Makoto's muscles strained as she tried to angle the furniture.

Artemis and Luna, the Guardians' feline companions, perched on the railing of the second-floor balcony, observing the chaos with amused expressions.

"Do you think they'll survive living together?" Artemis mused, swishing his tail.

"They've faced intergalactic threats," Luna replied. "Surely, domestic life can't be that hard… right?"

After what felt like an eternity, the couch was finally wedged through the door, and the girls collapsed onto the floor in a heap of giggles and exhaustion. The apartment smelled of fresh paint and potential, with sunlight streaming through sheer curtains and casting soft shadows on the hardwood floor.

"We did it!" Minako cheered, pumping her fist in the air. "Our own place!"

Makoto wiped the sweat from her brow, already envisioning the meals she would cook in their tiny kitchen. "I can't wait to try out some new recipes. We'll have the best dinners ever!"

Rei sat cross-legged, inspecting a candle she had brought from her temple. "As long as Usagi doesn't set the place on fire making instant ramen at 3 a.m."

Usagi pouted, hugging her snack box defensively. "That was one time!"

Ami placed her books on a shelf, already imagining cozy nights studying together and helping one another with homework. "I think this is going to be wonderful. We've always been a team; now we get to be a family, too."

The words hung in the air like a gentle blessing, filling the apartment with warmth. They had fought side by side to protect the world, but now they were creating a home.

"Alright!" Minako stood with her hands on her hips. "Tonight, we celebrate. Pizza and a movie marathon?"

"YES!" the girls cheered in unison, their voices echoing through the apartment like a promise of friendship and endless adventures to come.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting hues of orange and pink across the city, Starlight Apartment buzzed with life and laughter—the new home of five extraordinary girls who were, above all else, each other's light in the darkness.
