Taking a short break from his duties, Arvon takes his personal shuttle to the Mandalorian flagship to meet with Duke Grogu.

Arvon enters the ship's Forge, only to see Duke Grogu, holding a miniature hammer and tongs as he shapes a piece of metal on the table in front of him.

"Arvon. I've been expecting you." Grogu says.

"You've always told me that I could come to you when I need advice. I could use some now. If you have the time." Arvon says.

"I sense uncertainty. Something troubles you?" Grogu asks.

"You could say that. As you know, I've had my differences with the Jedi Council. The only one on the council that I think I can really trust is my brother. Master Varn is a capable leader, but he compromises far too much." Arvon answers.

"You have been at odds with the council for years. You only stayed with the order because of Vala." Grogu says.

"Vala told me that she would support whatever I decide. Now that I've left the order, I ask… what's next?" Arvon asks.

"You have already formed a new order. The next step should be to decide what path that order will take." Grogu says.

"The Jedi are held back by tradition. The galaxy is filled with chaos and injustice. The galaxy doesn't need peacekeepers. It needs warriors. That's what we will be." Arvon says.

Grogu stops working, and sets his tools aside. He picks up the piece of metal from the table.

"The Jedi are like this piece of beskar. Rigid. Inflexible. You are like beskar in the forge… flexible. You do not yet know what shape your life will take. The future is uncertain. Your path… is your path. You decide how to walk that path." Grogu says.

"Still using the forge to teach us." Arvon says.

"This is the way." Grogu says.

"This is the way." Arvon says.

"I was trained by a Master Armorer. She taught me all about Mandalorian tradition. Stories of the great warriors of the past. However, I also learned from the Jedi… that wars do not make one great. The creed ensures that we abide by a code. That we act with honor. I learned the forge from the Armorer. I learned how to lead with honor… from my father." Grogu says.

"Your father never learned the forge, did he?" Arvon asks.

"No. That was not his path. He was meant to be my father and unite Mandalore." Grogu answers.

"So, you believe that we ultimately have a path that the force intends for us to take." Arvon says.

"You could also call it destiny. But, yes. That's what I believe. I may lead Mandalore, but I also find purpose here, forging armor for warriors in need." Grogu says.

"Dad used to tell me stories about the old Armorer that trained you. How she was more faithful to the old ways than most." Arvon says.

"There is a lesson in those stories, I think. Stay true to what you believe. If that means that you no longer follow the Jedi ways, then that is the path you must take." Grogu says.

"I've already taken the first step by leaving the order. Now, I have this Star Forge to deal with. It's causing a lot of controversy in the Senate." Arvon says.

"You're worried they'll try to take the station from you?" Grogu asks.

"I am. There's a proposal to turn the station into a library under civilian control. I can't accept that! I can't accept wasted potential!" Arvon answers.

"The Star Forge is a tool. Just as our forge is. It can destroy, but it is meant to create. It is neither good nor evil. It simply is." Grogu says.

"Tell that to the Senate." Arvon says.

"That is your task. Not mine. I have spoken." Grogu says.

Grogu returns to his work. Realizing that the conversation is over, Arvon bows respectfully, then makes his exit.

The next chapters are being worked on (slowly) and this story will be updated as soon as possible. No guarantee on a timetable, but probably 2-3 months. Thanks for your patience.
