Making Amends

Before Phoenix could go back to her mate's little corner of Heaven, after saying farewell to Onacondar. A thought popped into her head. I wonder if my old master is here. she thought to herself, as she made her trek to wherever she was.

Juno Rain was meditating underneath a dogwood tree, when she hears fotsteps approaching her direction. She sees a were creature standing in front of her. She could scene a familiar presence raditating off of this being, staring into its eyes. A name flashes in her mind's eye.

"Phoenix, is that you?"

"Hello, master." said Phoenix, greeting her master.

"What are you doing here?" Juno asked her former apprentice.

"I came looking for you to ask you something."

"What would that be?"

"Is there anyway you can forgive me, for killing you, during the Jedi Purge? I would really like to make amends between us." Phoenix rubbed the back of her furry neck, wondering what her master would say about this.

"You already did." Phoenix was shock when she heard those words escape her master's lips.

"I have?" she asked Juno, wondering what she meant by this.

"Yes, when you kill Darth Sidious."

"I never wanted to be ever a Jedi or a Sith." said Phoenix, letting out a sigh.

"Oh? Then what did you want out of life."

"Ever since I was ripped away from my parents, all I wanted out of my life was to be love, even though it was against the Jedi code to have any attachments, doesn't that lead to the dark side?"

"Yes it would, but without love, you wouldn't have found your way back to the light." Juno reassured her former apprentice, answering her question.

"Thank you, my master. Do you mind if I sit beside you to meditate?"

Gunray was growing concern, when he noticed that Phoenix hadn't come back yet, after spending a night at Onacondar Farr's place. Maybe I should go see what's keeping her so long.

He went back to the last place she was at, to see if she is still there. When he made it there, he knocked on the door. He heard footsteps heading to the door, stop at it and opening it to see who it is.

"Good morning, Gunray. Is there something I can help you with?" Onacondar Farr greeted the Neimoidian.

"Good morning, Onacondar. Have you see Phoenix?"

"She left this morning. Why?"

"She hadn't come home, this morning."

"Maybe, she had to go do something, before returning home, I'm sure she'll turn up." said the Rodian reassuring the Neimoidian.

"Thanks, Onacondar. I'll go see if I can find her."

Gunray had finally found her, while he walked up on her meditating with her master.

"You must be Juno Rain." he said to the woman sitting next to his mate, disturbing their meditation.

The female human opened her eyes, to see an Neimoidian standing in front of her.

"Pleasure to meet you, I'm Nute Gunray, I'm sorry, if I ruined your meditation. I was concern when Phoenix didn't come home this morning."

"I'm sorry Gunray, I didn't mean for you, to worry about me."

"It's all right Phoenix, I'm just glad your safe." said Gunray, reassuring his mate.

It was Juno's turn to speak up. "I would like to thank you, Gunray."

"For what?" asked the Neimoidian, giving the Jedi Master a puzzled look.

"For bringing my apprentice back to the light."
