Cayenne woke up and hissed at the headache. She had been drugged at the bar. That much was clear. The last thing she remembered was the woman Paige who had to have been the one doing it.

"How are you feeling?" Seth asked.

She sat up and looked at her brother who was sitting on a chair watching her.

"I thought your voice sounded familiar when you grabbed me," she said.
"I thought you were asleep," he said.
"Does that somehow make both of us liars?" She asked.

He gave her a little smile and stood up.

"You must be hungry," he said.
"Mostly thirsty. And my head is killing me. You better have painkillers," she said.
"Of course I do. Not much has changed around here since you left," he said.
"It's not the same house," she said.
"True," he chuckled. "But the faces and the way we do things haven't changed."
"You didn't use to drug me back then but I guess I'll ignore that for now," she said.

He held out his hand and she grabbed it. He pulled her to her feet and she followed him out of the room. The house was similar to the old one. Big enough that the entire gang could live there and have each their room. She followed him into the common room and looked at all the faces she hadn't seen for a very long time. Roman was keeping to himself all the way in the back but he still took her breath away just by looking at her.

"Wait here," Seth said.

Seth walked to the kitchen and came back with a glass of water and some painkillers. Cayenne swallowed the pills and looked at them all. No one said anything so she had to be the one to break the ice.

"Why did you drug me?" Cayenne asked.
"None of us could get close enough to you. They got eyes on you everywhere. They'll look at the cameras and see you disappeared with a woman. We knew no one would question you going outside with a woman," Seth said.
"What will happen to her once they find her?" Cayenne said.
"She's already out of the country," Seth said.
"That was my cousin Paige," Finn said. "We called her in for this."
"Why?" Cayenne asked.
"We had to talk to you," Seth said. "You can make the choice to stay or go back. You never should have left in the first place. I know you didn't go to them willingly. They found you and now you're stuck. It might look like you got freedom but they're always watching you."

Cayenne couldn't disagree with that. She never wanted to be in Jacob's gang. It was fucked up that this town was run by two different gangs with members from the same family. She looked over at Roman again but he remained silent in the back. She had missed him so much and she still loved him no matter what had happened between them.

"You still didn't have to drug me. Paige could just have asked me to walk outside with her," Cayenne said.
"We had to," Finn said.
"Otherwise you'll tell them where we are in case you choose to go back," Seth said.
"You guys are so fucked up," Cayenne said. "I can't deal with your shit right now."

She turned around and walked out of the room. She walked out of the house and down to the gate. Of course it was locked. She tried the old code but the gate didn't open.

Meanwhile inside Seth looked at everyone and let out a deep sigh. He missed his sister so bad and he knew everyone else missed her too. She never should have left them but they couldn't go back and change the past, and he understood why everything had gone down the way it had.

"I'll go talk to her," Roman said.
"Are you sure?" Seth asked.
"I'm the reason she left," Roman sighed. "Hopefully I can be the reason she stays."

Roman walked outside and found Cayenne standing in the shade with her back up against the gate as if she was waiting for someone to let her out so she could leave. She crossed her arms and stared at him as he walked down to her.

"Can we talk?" He asked.
"I think we said everything that needed to be said last year," she said.
"I was angry that day. You can't blame me for that. You cheated on me with my cousin," he said.

She thought back to the morning she had woken up naked in Solo's bed. She never wanted that to happen. They had a party the night before and things had gotten out of hand. Before she knew what was happening, Roman knocked on the door and Solo yelled for him to enter. She had no chance of gathering her thoughts or getting dressed before Roman saw her in bed with another man.

"And that's why I left. I understood why you beat up Solo and I thought I would be next to feel your wrath," she said.
"I would never hit you," he said.
"I wish that you would. I would have deserved it. Instead you looked at me with so much disgust and I felt so fucking cold inside. You spat on the floor in front of me and told me to never show my face in front of you again," she said. "How the fuck was I supposed to honor that request when we lived in the same house? I had to leave."
"Eventually I would have gotten over it and figured out how to live in the same house as you," he said.
"Would you?" She asked. "Because I never fucking got over losing you. I still love you so much that I sometimes cry myself to sleep. And every fucking day I have to wake up and see Solo because he moved to Jacob's gang. He's the reason I'm there. I spent one night in a hotel and woke up next morning to Solo, Jacob and Tama waiting outside of the hotel room. I wasn't asked. I was told to follow and I've been with them ever since."

A part of him hated that she was right. He would never have gotten over it. He couldn't get over her either.

"Are you with him?" He asked.
"Fuck, no!" She bared her teeth. "I hate him. I already hated him when we lived here."
"So why did you do it?" He asked.

She shrugged. She had no answer to that.

"Was it me? Was it something I did? Wasn't I good enough?" He asked.
"You were perfect," she smiled sadly. "You still are."

He grabbed her face and leaned down for a kiss. All the old feelings came to the surface. They both felt the electricity between them. She placed her hands on his chest and gently pushed him away.

"Don't," she said. "I can't deal with you breaking my heart again."
"You broke mine," he said.
"I'm sorry," she said. "I'm gonna go back inside and see if the offer of food still stands."

She walked away from him and he followed a few steps behind. She found everyone in the same room she had left them and looked over at Seth.

"I'm hungry," she said.
"Let's make you some breakfast," he said.

The siblings walked to the kitchen alone and he made some toasts for her.

"I can't give you an answer, Seth," she said.
"I figured that would be the case," he said.
"I'm not doing it to hurt you," she said.
"I know. You're doing it because you're scared," he said.
"I'm doing it because I care about everyone involved," she said.
"Roman doesn't hold a grudge," he said.
"Not everything is about Roman," she said.

She ate a toast and drank a glass of water. Halfway through the second toast, she started feeling heavy like the night before.

"What did you do?" She asked lowly.
"Go to sleep," he said. "I won't hurt you."

She passed out with her head on the table and he whistled loudly. The gang entered the kitchen and saw him pulling her up into his arms.

"You're sending her back?" Jey asked.
"She'll make her choice soon enough," Seth said.
