Ivy talking looks like this.

Faye taking to Ivy in her mind looks like this.

"Faye talking out loud looks like this."

Chapter 15: Memories and Mystery Shrieks

As I regained consciousness, I could feel hands petting my fur and the sound of what seemed to be Spongebob.

Wait Spongebob? We don't have a TV in the cabin.

I snap my eyes open as I jump off the surface of what I was lying on which turns out to be a couch and huddled into a corner. I could feel my fur stand up as I looked around in fear and confusion.

Faye! Faye! It's okay! We are not in danger.

Ivy?

Yeah, it's me, what's the last thing you remember?

I closed my eyes and thought.

James.

Victoria.

Bonds.

Needle.

Switch.

I start to calm down and could feel the tension start to go away as I started to remember.

Oh.

I opened my eyes and looked around. I could see the worried faces of Emmett and Rosalie, they looked like they wanted to come closer but they didn't want to spook me or make me run. I could see the concerned faces of Carlisle and Esme as they rushed in.

I heared Carlisle ask what happened. As Emmett responds, they didn't know.

Ivy, what happened while I was asleep?

You know, Carlisle asking questions and Spongebob. The usual. I'll tell you more later. But right now, I think we should calm down our bonds!

Okay.

I took a shaky breath as I shook my head and started to stumble over to Rosalie.

POV CHANGE- Rosalie Pov

I don't know what happened. Everything was fine. One minute we were watching the cartoon, SpongeBob. Suddenly the bear bolted into a corner with their fur standing with fear.

Emmett and I stood up from the couch surprised at the change of personality of the bear. I wanted to get closer but I was scared that she might freak out and run.

I could hear Carlisle and Esme rush inside the living room. I heard Carlisle, ask what happened and Emmett explained. But I kept my eye on the bear, it felt like she was calming down.

As the bear took a deep breath, I saw her shake her head and look up. I froze as I saw the familiar brown eyes looking up at me.

What happened to her blue eyes?

The bear let out a shaky huff as she walked over to us slowly from the corner. I could see the shake in their body as they hobbled over to us.

As they let out a whine, I fought my instinct to go over and pick them up but as I saw their paw start to slip, I couldn't help it any longer.

I speeded over to her carefully scooped her up and brought her back to the couch.

Thankfully it didn't seem like she broke any stitches. "What happened, little bear?" I asked softly petting her fur on her back. She let out a whine as she cuddled into me.

It was comforting to have her so close, feeling her warmth as she cuddled against me. I could feel the heat of her body warming up my own, making me feel almost human.

From the corner of my eye, I see Emmett search our bear for injuries. I could see Emmett relax after realizing she wasn't hurt.

I heared Carlisle say, "It doesn't look like she broke stitches." Thankfully when I looked up and noticed him on the other side of the room with Esme. I don't think I could handle anyone besides Emmett being with our bear, right now.

What is happening to me? I used to be so cold. Then I realized that I'd been calling the bear ours. This bear is making me soft. I let out a sigh. Somehow I don't hate it.

I nodded my head at Carlisle's comment as I continued to pet her. Our bear peeked her head over to Carlisle and Esme as I heard them gasp.

"Amazing, her eyes are a different color," Carlisle said as he took a step forward.

Emmett and I started to growl as he did. I stated through gritted teeth, "She is not a science experiment, Carlisle." I pulled her closer as he stepped back, raising his arms in a surrender motion.

"Yes, I apologize, I was merely curious about her eye color changing."

Suddenly I felt a small lick under my jaw drawing my attention back to our little bear. She looked at me with reassuring eyes and nudged my head with her snout as she put her paw on Emmett.

"It seems like she trying to calm you down, dear," Esme says looking gratefully at the bear. Most likely, thankful that she wouldn't have to always be the mediator.

Our bear looked over at Esme and nodded her head. As she glanced over to Emmett and me suddenly we heared a shriek pierce the air, freezing us in our tracks.
