Alola! Today I will tell you a story about a girl and a sea cucumber. Or better said, a sea cucumber pokemon! Take a seat and listen, if you'd like!

Our story begins in Hano Beach near the Hano Grand Hotel at the Hano Grand Resort, a tourist's paradise, as many would describe it. There was a guy responsible for maintaining the beach and keeping the guests safe. Pretty much like a lifeguard, you could say. He'd always ask the trainers that wandered around if they "got what it takes to be a pyukumuku chucker", so the guests wouldn't be grossed out by them. Yes, yes, I know! It is hard to believe, right? I don't even understand why! Look at them! Their blackish bodies, the little eyes, the fluffy tails, the pink needles… ouch… okay, maybe the needles aren't that cute, but they are not hostile creatures! I really don't understand why they would go out of their way cleaning the beach of the pyukumuku if, on the next day, they'd be right back. Maybe it was because that one time when a boy thought it would be funny to throw a pyukumuku at a younger girl, most likely his sister. And I am not sure who was scared the most, the pokemon who was being tossed or the girl who was being targeted. The only one having fun was the boy. But that's not our story. I think I should start with her first day going to the beach and finding the responsible. She agreed to do the job and grabbed them, one by one, with utmost care, before tossing them back into the water. She then got paid and offered the very known line, "feel free to come back and help again". It'd be just like anyone else who showed up to help. On her second day helping, she started to talk to them, telling them to stay safe inside the water so no one would hurt them. One would call her crazy, maybe even think she was talking with herself. But this girl was different. Her name was Sapphire and she had a passion for water type pokemon. And as you may have already guessed, pyukumuku are water type pokemon, which made her come back again on the next day to take the job again. It was after she left on the third day that something strange happened.

Most of the pyukumuku would just stay still after being tossed, just coming back on the next day. But there was one who seemed to start to come back to the beach willingly not too long after she tossed it back into the beach. It was not the girl who noticed, but the lifeguard. The poor thing would be so exhausted from his efforts that he'd fall asleep right away when he was back at the beach. The lifeguard just tossed it back into the sea, so even if the girl noticed the absence of a pyukumuku, she didn't think much of it.

Now, you may be asking why I think that this one pokemon went back to the beach because of her? Well, that's because on that night, it happened again. But this time the pyukumuku showed up very late at night, so the lifeguard couldn't notice it. So, on the next day, when the girl picked it up, it wiggled its small body in joy. It was noticeable. But the girl thought that it might be hurt. In the end, that was for the best, because she didn't toss it back into the sea. Instead she took it with her to the pokemon center.

"It's not hurt, but happy. If you allow me to ask, it's not your pokemon yet, right? Since there's no pokeball."

"Yes, it's one of the stranded pyukumuku from the resort."

"Well, I'd advise you to talk to the responsible there and see if they let you stay with it, because to me it's obvious that it wants to stay with you.

Sapphire went back to the resort just to hear from the manager that "Pyukumuku could be found anywhere" and that she should get it back into the beach and find another one, since that one belonged to the resort. She reluctantly went back to the beach to release it, but instead of tossing it back into the beach, she decided to do something she saw in a show. She put it on the sand, halfway to the water, halfway to herself.

"Okay, little one, here's the deal. The manager said you should stay here but I wouldn't mind taking you with me. I even like you guys. So, I'll let you decide for me. If you move towards the beach, I'll understand that you'll want to stay here with your friends. But if you move towards me," and here, she picked one of her pokeballs from her belt and showed it to him, "You'll become my pokemon and you'll live a lot of adventures by my side. So, what will it be?

I think It doesn't need to be said, but the pyukumuku wiggled its body as hard as it could towards her. She smiled and captured him and, just to make sure in case someone was watching, she picked up a stone from the beach and tossed it into the water. She went back to the resort and told the manager that "the job was done" and that she probably wouldn't come back there because she had to continue her journey.

And as far as we know, they lived happily ever after.
