Chapter5:A Desperate Struggle

It had been a week since Goku had succumbed to the virus. Bulma was doing everything she could to find a cure, but despite her best efforts, there was no progress. She'd administered a pain-relieving medicine that only helped for a short while, but the virus's effects were becoming more and more evident. Goku's once vibrant energy was draining, his body growing weaker by the day.

Bulma had deduced that, at best, Goku had only a month or less to live in this condition.

Gohan, upon learning the dire situation, begged her to find a cure. "Please, Mom, you have to do something! We can't lose him," he pleaded, his voice shaking with fear.

"I'm trying, Gohan," Bulma assured him, her tone filled with exhaustion. "I'll work & I won't give up."

Days passed, and Goku's condition worsened. His skin had turned pale. Bulma had teamed up with the best doctors on the planet, hoping they could find a cure, but so far, their efforts had been in vain. The virus was unlike anything they had encountered before.

"The cure may take time, or we might not find one at all," one of the doctors working with Bulma explained gravely. "This virus is unlike any we've seen."

"We have to find something," Bulma murmured, her voice tinged with desperation. "We can't let him die. He's the only hope for this planet."

Gohan stood in silence; his heart heavy with worry. He believed in his mother's determination, but time was slipping away, and with each passing day, his father seemed to fade further.

Another week passed, and Goku's condition had become even more dire. Bulma was no closer to a cure, and with each moment that passed, the weight of the situation became unbearable. Gohan, overwhelmed with helplessness, decided he had to do something—anything to save his father.

He quietly took the Dragon Balls, which Bulma kept in case of emergencies, and made his way to a secluded spot. His hands trembled as he summoned Shenron.

The sky darkened, and the mighty dragon appeared before him. "You have awakened me," Shenron's voice rumbled, echoing through the air. "Speak your wish."

Gohan's voice cracked with emotion. "I wish for my father's heart virus to be cured."

Shenron's eyes glowed ominously. "This wish cannot be granted. It is beyond my power."

Gohan felt his heart sink, but he quickly pleaded "Please, Shenron, he's always been there for me! He saved me, protected me—he's my hero! I can't just stand by and watch him suffer!"

"I am sorry," Shenron replied coldly. "Speak another wish."

Gohan, panicking and unsure of what else to say, made the only wish he could think of in that moment: "I wish my father could not die."

Shenron's eyes glowed red, and the dragon's voice boomed, "Your wish has been granted. Farewell." With that, the mighty Shenron vanished, leaving Gohan standing alone, his heart pounding in his chest he doesn't know what happened.

At Capsule Corp, Goku was connected to various medical equipment, his body barely responding. Bulma watched over him, monitoring his vitals with growing concern. "Damn it... his condition is even worse," she muttered to herself, frustration and fear boiling inside her.

Suddenly, Goku's body was enveloped in a brilliant light. Bulma's eyes widened in confusion as the light faded, and she was left unsure of what had just occurred. She hoped it wouldn't lead to more complications, but then, a blood-curdling scream pierced the silence. Goku clutched his chest in agony, his face contorting in pain.

Bulma rushed to his side, her hands trembling as she tried to calm him down. "What's happening?!" she whispered in panic. She administered a sedative, hoping to put him to sleep and ease his suffering, but it didn't seem to help.

A few moments later, Gohan arrived, his face pale with worry. "Mom, what happened to Dad?" he asked, his voice cracking with concern.

"I don't know, Gohan," Bulma said, her voice strained. "His condition is still deteriorating, and just before you came, a bright light surrounded him. I don't know what it means, but it didn't seem good." She looked at Gohan, helplessness and fear clouding her features.

Gohan was reassured that his wish might have worked, but then Goku screamed out again, writhing in pain. Bulma rushed back to his side, frantically trying to find a way to stop his suffering. She didn't know what was happening to him, but she wouldn't stop trying to help.

Another week passed. Despite Bulma's relentless efforts, Goku's pain didn't subside he yells in agaony a couple of times in a day. If anything, it seemed to intensify. Gohan was torn between hope and fear, knowing that something was terribly wrong. One day, while working in her lab, Bulma noticed something that made her stomach drop—the Dragon Balls were gone.

She quickly reviewed the security footage and saw Gohan taking them.

"Gohan," Bulma said, her voice a mixture of concern and disbelief. "Tell me what you wished for with the Dragon Balls."

Gohan's face crumpled as tears welled up in his eyes. "I... I asked the dragon to remove Dad's virus, but Shenron couldn't. I was desperate, and I didn't know what else to do..." His voice broke, the weight of his mistake heavy on his shoulders. "Then... I wished for Dad not to die."

Bulma stood frozen, shock running through her as she tried to process his words. "Gohan..." she whispered, her heart aching for him.

"I didn't mean to hurt him, Mom... I just couldn't lose him. I can't lose him." Gohan's sobs filled the room as he collapsed into her arms.

Bulma hugged him tightly, her own tears threatening to fall. "It's okay, Gohan. We'll figure this out. We'll fix this... together."

But Bulma's mind was racing. "But if your father can't die... why is he still suffering? Why isn't the virus gone?"

Just then, a voice echoed through the room. It was Kami, the guardian of Earth.

"Bulma... Gohan... I've come to explain the nature of the wish you made."

Bulma was trembling every time kami comes with a bad news, but his words were heavy with weight. "The wish Gohan made has worked perfectly—Goku is now immortal. He can't die. However... the heart virus still remains within him."

Bulma's eyes widened in horror. "So... he's immortal, but the virus is still ravaging him?"

Kami nodded solemnly. "Correct. While Goku cannot die, the virus is still present in his body. The pain is a result of the virus's effects. You must find a cure for the virus itself if you wish for him to be free of this suffering."

Gohan stood frozen, the implications of Kami's words hitting him like a tidal wave. "I didn't know... I just wanted him to be okay. I never wanted to cause him more pain."

Tears streamed down Gohan's face as he collapsed to his knees, overwhelmed with guilt. "I'm so sorry, Dad... I didn't mean for this to happen. I didn't know..."

Bulma knelt beside him, her heart breaking for her son. "We'll fix this, Gohan. We have to find a cure."

Kami's voice was gentle but firm. "If you do not find a cure for the virus soon, Goku will continue to suffer. You have no time to waste."

It had been a month since Goku became immortal, and he had not left his side. Every moment he wasn't training, Gohan was at his father's side, watching as his father screamed in pain day after day.

"I'm so sorry, Dad..." Gohan whispered into Goku's ear, his voice breaking. "I didn't mean to... I can't lose you. I'm sorry."

Inside gokus mind.

Goku wandered through the black void, lost and unable to see anything around him. The emptiness stretched out endlessly in every direction, a never-ending expanse. Days passed, or perhaps it was longer—time had no meaning here. It felt like he had been walking for eternity, his footsteps echoing in the stillness suddenly he saw how his body glowed.

Amid the silence, Goku could sometimes hear the faint sound of sobbing. It sounded like Gohan, but he wasn't sure. The sorrowful cries pulled at his heart, but he couldn't understand why or where they were coming from. He was trapped in this dark void, unable to find any direction.

"I think I should have died by now... but I'm still here," Goku thought, his mind heavy with confusion. "I don't know how long I've been walking, or what's happening. I can't remember where I came from or where I'm going. All I know is that I feel... lost."

As Goku continued walking, something strange began to happen. He saw flashes of his life. At first, they were fragmented, like memories resurfacing after years of neglect. Then, they grew clearer. He saw a young version of himself—his childhood, spent on Earth with his Grandpa Gohan, and the happiness he had felt in those days. But suddenly, the image shifted, and he saw two figures standing before him. One was a man who looked eerily similar to Goku, with a scar on his cheek, and the other was a woman. Both had tails, just like him.

"Who... are they?" Goku thought, his heart beating faster. There was something familiar about them. The man spoke to him, his voice carrying a weight of urgency.

"Kakarot... no matter what happens, survive."

The name Kakarot echoed in Goku's mind. That was his Saiyan name—his true name, not Goku. He felt a deep connection to these people. The woman beside the man must have been his mother, Gine. His mind raced as memories flooded back.

"Yes, they are my parents," Goku realized, a strange warmth filling his chest. He hadn't remembered them clearly before, but now he understood. His parents had loved him, and they had sent him away to Earth to protect him. He could feel their love, even in this dark void.

The memories shifted again, and Goku saw himself as a young child, alone in the wilderness, when Grandpa Gohan found him. He saw the tender moments they shared—Gohan raising him as his own, teaching him to be kind, strong, and brave. He remembered the day he met Bulma, and how she had changed his life forever. The adventures they had, the people they met, the challenges they faced—all of it filled him with joy.

As the memories continued, Goku saw his training with Krillin and Master Roshi, the tournaments they participated in, and the friendships that had defined his life. He remembered the sense of camaraderie and the pure joy of pushing himself to become stronger. The faces of his friends, his family, and his mentors all flashed before him, reminding him of how much he had accomplished.

Then, without warning, the memories turned dark. Goku saw the lifeless body of Krillin, his best friend, lying on the ground. His heart clenched as he remembered the pain of that moment. Master Roshi, too, was gone. The grief of losing those who had been with him since the beginning threatened to overwhelm him.

His vision shifted again, showing him the battle against Demon King Piccolo, and how he had finally defeated him. He remembered training under Kami, the years of hardship and growth. But even with all of these memories, something was missing.

Then, Goku saw the day he married Chi-Chi. The warmth of their love filled his heart, and he saw how much he had grown to love her. She had always been there for him, always supporting him even in the toughest of times. Their life together, their moments of happiness, and the birth of their son, Gohan, played out before his eyes. Goku watched with fondness as he saw Gohan take his first step, speak his first word, and call him "Dada" for the first time.

Tears filled his eyes as he saw Gohan grow, the boy he loved so much. But once again, the memories took a darker turn. Goku saw Chi-Chi's death. The pain of losing her, the deep sorrow, surged back in an instant. Even though these were just memories, the emotions felt real—raw. The devastation of losing her all over again left him breathless, his heart aching.

As the final memory faded, Goku continued to walk through the void, unable to escape the pain and longing that clung to him. He could hear Gohan's sobs once more, the weight of it all pressing down on him. But still, he walked, searching for something—anything—that could make sense of this place.

"I don't know what this is," Goku thought. "But I won't give up. I have to keep going... for Gohan, for everyone."

This made goku realised how wrong he had been ever since chi-chi died he distanced himself even from Gohan seeing all these made him to never leave the side of his loved once as seeing lot of deaths changed gokus perception he thought of every step he made he cant risk anything with his nativity so goku still continued his walk.

It had been six months since Goku had fallen victim to the heart virus. Bulma had made some progress in finding a cure, but the situation was still dire. One day, as she was working in the lab, she heard the shocking news. east City had been destroyed by two mysterious individuals.

Gohan rushed into the room, his eyes wide with concern. "Mom, what's happening?" he asked, his voice tinged with panic.

"I don't know," Bulma replied, her voice strained. "Two people attacked east City. The damage... it's catastrophic."

Gohan's fists clenched. "I'm going to stop them."

"Wait, Gohan," Bulma said, grabbing his arm before he could fly off. "We don't know who they are or what they can do. You need to be careful."

"I know, but we can't just let them kill innocent people," Gohan insisted.

Bulma sighed, knowing he was right. "Alright, go with Tien. Come back safe, okay?"

Gohan nodded, determination in his eyes. With Tien by his side, they flew towards east City. Upon arrival, they found the culprits: two teenagers, both androids created by Dr. Gero, the scientist from the Red Ribbon Army, whose sole purpose was to destroy Goku.

Without hesitation, Gohan attacked. But the androids were far stronger than he anticipated. He managed to hold his own against one, but with both of them attacking, he couldn't keep up. Gohan fired a full-power Kamehameha wave, but the androids didn't even flinch. With a single kick, he was sent flying.

Tien, overwhelmed, tried to intervene but was forced to retreat. He managed to pull Gohan out of the battle, and together, they fled back to Capsule Corp.

At Capsule Corp, Goku had just woken up, still suffering from the effects of the heart virus. As the monitors beeped, Bulma rushed to his side, her concern palpable.

"Goku?" she called, rushing into the room.

"Oh, hi, Bulma," Goku greeted her with a weak smile. "How are you?"

Bulma shook her head in disbelief. "How am I? You're the one who's still suffering. How are you feeling? Is the virus still affecting you?"

"Yeah," Goku replied slowly, his voice weak. "I'm still not strong. But... I think my body has adapted to the virus. I'm not getting worse, but I'm still far from normal."

Before Bulma could respond, Gohan and Tien arrived, both looking bruised and battered.

"Gohan!" Goku exclaimed, noticing the state his son was in. "What happened? You look like you've been through hell."

"Androids, red ribbon, " Gohan said, his voice filled with frustration. "They attacked South City and destroyed it."

"Androids?red ribbon?" Bulma repeated, confused. "What do you mean?"

"They were created by Dr. Gero of the Red Ribbon Army," Tien explained. "Gero's plan was always to destroy Goku, and now he's sent these androids to finish the job."

"What?" Goku and Bulma exclaimed in unison.

"But... didn't Goku defeated the red ribbon army before?" Bulma asked, still in shock.

"Dr. Gero escaped," Tien explained grimly.

"These androids are much stronger than we anticipated. At first, I thought we could handle them, but they're toying with us. Even at full power, we can't scratch them." Said Gohan.

"They're that strong?" Goku asked, eyes narrowing.

Bulma turned to him, urgency in her voice. "Goku, people are dying. Cities are being destroyed!"

"I know," Goku replied softly. "But with the virus still in me, I'm not sure I can fight them. I can't even access my full power."

Bulma paused, her mind racing. "I've made some progress with the cure, but I need a blood sample from you to confirm if the virus has mutated," she said, pulling a needle from a nearby drawer.

Goku flinched as the needle approached, clearly uncomfortable. "Take it away, Bulma," he groaned.

"Don't be such a crybaby," she teased, half-smiling. "Look at Gohan. He's tougher than you."

With a bit of struggle, she managed to get the sample she needed. Hours later, the results came in, and Bulma let out a relieved sigh. "The virus hasn't mutated. The medicine I've been working on will help, but it's not complete yet."

"Can you give it to me now?" Goku asked, his voice faint with hope.

"Not yet," Bulma replied, shaking her head. "It's not finished. But I'll get it done as quickly as I can."

Goku paused, his thoughts clearly on something else. "Bulma, I've been thinking... I should've died from this virus a long time ago. But I'm still alive. I don't know why."

Gohan's heart sank as he realized the weight of what his father was about to say. He looked down, his voice shaking. "I... I'm sorry, Dad. I didn't mean for any of this to happen."

Goku turned to his son, confused. "What are you talking about, Gohan?"

With tears in his eyes, Gohan began to explain. "I used the Dragon Balls. I... I wished for you not to die. I didn't want to lose you. But now I see... I've caused you nothing but pain for the past six months. I didn't mean to, I swear. Every day, you've been suffering, and it's my fault."

Goku looked at Gohan, understanding dawning on him. He pulled his son into a tight embrace. "It's okay, Gohan. I'm not mad at you. I understand what you've been going through. I'm sorry for making you worry so much."

"But, Dad... you're immortal now," Gohan said, his voice still shaky.

"We'll figure that out later," Goku replied with a smile. "Right now, we need to focus on stopping those androids. Once that's over, we'll think about how to fix this."

Over the next few days, Goku waited while Bulma worked on completing the cure. Gohan spent his time training in the gravity chamber, pushing himself harder than ever. Bulma had to remind Goku that he couldn't train in his current condition, but Goku still worked with Gohan when he could, focusing on getting him strong enough to face the androids and some times he got into an unberable pain due to the virus this made Gohan shatters his heart.

"sorry daddy because of me you are still in pain" said Gohan with sobs.

"it's its okay Gohan I am not mad at you I am glad you did this for me so I can keep my promise to your mother" said goku in pain.

For the time goku was bedridden and Gohan along with tien trained in the time chamber and then they trained in the gravity room in capsule corp but they still didn't had the strength to defeat them goku advised Gohan to achieve super Saiyan he told him to use his rage and anger but he cant access it this made him frustrated.

The androids, meanwhile, were on a relentless rampage, destroying cities one by one. Goku could only watch in helpless rage, unable to intervene as they slaughtered innocent people. Their killing spree continued for months, and the situation only grew more dire.

Finally, after months of hard work, Bulma completed the cure. She and the doctors had used Goku's DNA specifically for him. Goku took the medicine, and after a few days, he began to recover. As his strength returned, he felt a rush of power—his body was reinvigorated, and the virus no longer held him back.

With his full strength restored, Goku felt the familiar surge of energy coursing through him. Recovering form the virus granted him a Zenkai boost, further enhancing his power. Goku, no longer needing sleep, threw himself into training with unparalleled intensity.

Now, he was ready to face the androids, but he knew the battle wouldn't be easy. Goku was back at full strength, but the question remained: Could he and Gohan stop the androids before they destroyed everything?

Finally he decided to confront the androids goku is on par with one android but when the two teamed up he was overwhelmed goku used his super Saiyan but he can't surpass them both goku don't know what to do Gohan came to his help but he was put down immediately this made him mad at last resort he tried to stacked ikari on top of super Saiyan he became a mind less beast his power multiplied five hundred times but he lost his senses he went berserk with out any delay he blasted them into oblivion but goku didn't stopped he continued destruction luckily there are no people at the surroundings but there is no one to stop him even tien cant stop he tried to reason with goku but no avail, Gohan came out from the rubble he saw his father loose control he tried to talk reason into him, goku unknowingly attacked Gohan due to being pushed to his limits Gohan achieved super Saiyan after hours of long battle goku came to his senses his eyes were different color his eyes are orange and his hair became orange.

"Gohan what happened where are the androids" asked goku.

"you defeated them dad" said Gohan with smile.

"really but I don't remember anything" said goku.

"you went out of control dad" said Gohan.

"did I hurt or killed anybody" asked goku.

"no dad" said Gohan.

tien arrived from the rubble

"sorry tien I lost control" said goku.

"no problem but you managed to defeat them" said tien.

Then the three went to capsule corp to say the news bulma told news agencies the androids were defeated when they asked who defeated them she told someone who protects the earth a hero.

Bulma told them they need to find geros lab incase if he installed contingencies after searching for the lab in mountains, they found it they find a tank in which a creature was growing Gohan blasted it without hesitation.

"hey why did you blasted it we can use it" said bulma.

"do you expect any good thing to come from this mad doctor experiments" asked Gohan.

She understood what he meant she took the schematics to build androids and they destroyed the whole lab.

Its been two years since the androids were destroyed goku and Gohan perfected their super saiyans and goku tried to access the power of ikari and super Saiyan with out loosing control finally he achieved it and he found Gohan was on verge of new power as they trained very hard after the defeat of androids as they don't want to repeat the same.
