Gathering Forces

In orbit above Lothal, the Ghost was still being pursued by the Inquisitor and his squad of TIE fighters, who were firing and missing the ship, though the Inquisitor managed to hit it with a few shots.

"Chopper, I'm rolling us starboard!" Hera called out. "Be ready to fire those rear guns!"

Zeb ran to the Phantom, finding Chopper on the floor, knocked out of commission, sparking and smoking.

"Karabast! Chopper's down!" He informed Hera before noticing the controls were on fire, which he put out with his hands, which hurt, before taking over. "I've got you covered, Hera. Roll away!"

Hera performed the roll and Zeb fired back at the TIEs, managing to destroy one of them.

Then four more TIE fighters then showed up on the starboard side and joined up with the other TIEs chasing the Ghost.

"Open fire. Their shields will not hold indefinitely." The Inquisitor ordered the pilots before he fired at the Ghost.

This made it shake again, making Ender, Serah and Tseebo nearly fall over in the common room.

"Sabine, I need you in the nose gun, now!" Hera cried out through the comlink.

But Serah didn't move, she just stood, looking at Ender.

"You heard her, go!" Ender snapped at her.

"But what about Tseebo? He knows what happened to your parents!" Serah reminded him.

"They're dead, Serah! What else is there to know about? SO GO!" Ender snapped back again, taking Serah aback by his anger, though she reluctantly left to man the nose turret.

"Are they?" Ender then asked Tseebo, grabbing him by the shoulders. "Are my parents dead?"

"Someone want to explain to me why we're extra popular tonight?" Hera asked after turning port.

"We've picked up a passenger, the Rodian the Imperials are hunting." Kanan replied, firing the dorsal turret at a TIE that circled around the Ghost.

"And that's important because…?" Hera asked.

"His cybernetic implant has downloaded some pretty big Imperial secrets." Serah replied, manning the nose turret.

"Okay, I can see why that's important. Let's get him outta here." Hera then said right before Zeb destroyed another TIE.

"The Brands should hide. The troopers came. They took Minerva and Axel Brand away." Tseebo said.

"To where? Where did they take 'em?" Ender demanded, shaking Tseebo, who sighed and muttered.

"Forgive Tseebo." He then said, making something inside Ender snap. "Forgive him."

"FORGIVE YOU?" Ender questioned, fuming in anger.

"Tseebo failed." The yellow Rodian then said. "Tseebo was afraid. Tseebo could not raise Ender Brand."

"YOU COWARD! WHY DIDN'T YOU TRY TO STOP THEM?" Ender roared right in Tseebo's face, which made Tseebo's construct beep as he whimpered. "ANSWER ME!"

"Shields down!" Hera cried out through the comlink. "Ender, I need you in the cockpit!"

"On my way." Ender coldly replied, shoving Tseebo into a seat directly behind him. "You failed my parents, and me, and you expect me to forgive you? You don't deserve any forgiveness, at all!"

He then stormed off to head for the cockpit.

As the Inquisitor and the TIEs continued chasing the Ghost, the former couldn't help but ponder about it.

"Quite a ship." He said before flicking some switches above him, shooting out a device that attached itself directly onto the Phantom, which he didn't realise, and it started beeping.

In the Ghost's cockpit, the co-pilot's console was smoking and sparking just as Ender entered.

"Ender, nav-computer's offline. With Chopper down, I need you to fix it." Hera instructed him.

"You haven't trained me to fix it, yet." Ender reminded her, as she taught him to repair certain parts of the ship in case he ever needed to do so, but hasn't been trained on the nav-computer.

"Well, now's an impromptu lesson, now hurry!" Hera snapped back as Ender went to work and tried fixing the console. She then looked out through the windshield, seeing two Star Destroyers ahead of them, "Or this ship becomes a real ghost."

More TIE fighters came from the two Destroyers and flew right for them, firing shots at the Ghost as they did so.

"Could really use that nav-computer!" Hera told Ender, who was struggling.

"Hey! I'm going as fast as -" Ender snapped back, but was interrupted when Tseebo entered the cockpit.

"For fast travel across interstellar distances, hyperspace is optimal." He said, crouching and working on the console, with Ender getting out of his way.

"What is he doing?" Hera questioned.

"I don't know." Ender shrugged as the TIEs ahead of them fired a barrage of blaster fire.

Tseebo's rewiring ended up making the nav-computer functional again, as shown with three green lights on Hera's console.

"I don't believe it." She said in disbelief before the ship was priming up for hyperspace. "Hang on!"

They then entered hyperspace, leaving the Imperials behind.

Ender got to his feet, steadying Tseebo.

"This, here, is Tseebo." Ender introduced Hera to the yellow Rodian.

"And did Tseebo just signal hyperspace coordinates directly to my ship?" She asked.

"Looks like it." Ender replied, folding his arms.

"Well, then, thank you, Tseebo." Hera said, sighing. "I think you saved our lives."

"Yeah, first time he's ever done that." Ender spat bitterly before leaving the cockpit, leaving Hera confused and concerned.

Later, everyone gathered in the common room, including a still out of commission Chopper, who Hera and Serah were working on to get him working.

Kanan was unnerved by how dazed and out of focus, even waving a hand in front of him, which he didn't react to.

Serah glanced over at Ender, who sat at the table, growing concerned about him, as he sat in silence.

"What do we even do with Tseebo?" Ender then broke his self silence, asking Kanan.

"We have a few ideas." Kanan replied before walking up to Ender. "But you're the one who has history with Tseebo. What do you think we should do?"

"I don't know and I don't care." Ender frowned, folding his arms.

"Ender, you'll never advance as a Jedi if you can't be honest, with yourself, at least." Kanan pointed out.

"What are you suggesting?" Ender questioned.

"That Tseebo matters to you. That you actually care what happens to him." Kanan replied.

"Why would I care for a coward, who's been like that his whole life, that didn't even try to save my parents?" Ender spat, giving Tseebo the stink-eye.

"What could he have done against the Empire?" Kanan argued.

"And besides, consider what he's done since then." Serah then said, walking up to Tseebo. "These implants aren't mandatory, they're just encouraged by the Imperials. At least not yet. Which means he volunteered, wanting to download their secrets and run, perhaps to make up for failing you."

"I highly doubt that. He only cares for himself." Ender spat with contempt.

Serah would've argued back, but Tseebo's construct beeped and he stood straight.

"Empire…" He said before speaking in Huttese, making Serah's eyes widen.

"He just said the Empire is tracking the Ghost." She told everyone.

"Oh, please." Zeb scoffed at the idea. "The Imperials can't follow us through hyperspace. Uh, can they?"

Tseebo then shook before his construct activated a holographic projector of the device the Inquisitor planted on the Phantom.

"Imperial XX-23 S-thread tracker was developed by Sienar Systems to trace ships through hyperspace to destination." He said aloud like he was a presenter.

"Hera, could they have tagged us with that thing?" Kanan asked gravely.

"Guess we better find out." Hera replied, just finishing up on Chopper, who was reactivated, chirping vehemently and waving his mechanical arms before spinning his head. "Whoa, whoa, whoa. Calm down, Chop. You were just offline for a few minutes." Hera sighed after managing to calm down her astromech. "We need you to scan the Ghost for that."

She pointed at the hologram, which Chopper noticed, and complained.

"Stop grumbling and find that tracker, you rust bucket!" Zeb snapped at him.

Chopper grumbled and went off with Zeb to scan for the tracker just before the hologram shut off.

Afterwards, the whole crew gathered in the cockpit and looked at a hologram of the Ghost, which showed where the tracker was located.

"Looks like they did tag us, after all." Serah sighed.

"Yes. But the good news is the tracer's actually on the hull of the Phantom." Hera pointed out.

"How is that good news exactly?" Zeb asked, failing to understand.

"It'll allow us to detach the Phantom and lure the Imperials away from the Ghost and Tseebo." Kanan replied, making Serah question his sanity.

"Hold up, mister! You're seriously suggesting to detach while in hyperspace?" She asked him. "That's so dangerous, only crazy people would consider doing that!"

"Not as dangerous as what I plan to do with the ship." Kanan replied.

"Can't wait to hear this." Zeb rolled his eyes.

"I checked our current trajectory." Kanan said before turning to Hera. "If you can modify the hyperspace coordinates -"

"I could." Hera replied, unsure of what Kanan was suggesting.

" - then we can pass by the asteroid field where the old clone base is." Kanan continued.

"The same place where those creatures that live in the dark reside? Where they also tried to have me and Hera for lunch?" Serah questioned his sanity even more.

"Why the hell would we ever consider going there?" Ender also questioned Kanan's sanity.

"They're right, Kanan. Why not just drop the Phantom into our trail and let the Imperials chase after their tracker?" Hera suggested.

"Because there's more than a tracker at work here." Kanan revealed. "Back on Lothal, I sensed it. The Inquisitor is on our trail, and as long as Ender and I are onboard the Ghost, we're jeopardising Tseebo's escape."

"So you're saying we have to leave the Ghost and go to that creature-filled asteroid as a favour to Tseebo?" Ender frowned.

"As a favour to all of us." Kanan retorted. "And don't worry, I'll be right beside you."

Later, while they were still in hyperspace, Ender stood in the kitchen, watching Tseebo, who looked dazed and distant, when Serah soon entered.

"Do you really believe that your parents are dead?" She asked Ender cautiously, not wanting to face an angry outburst.

"Does it matter if I believe they're dead?" Ender questioned what she was getting at.

"It does matter. You need to talk to Tseebo before you go." Serah insisted.

"I already tried." Ender shrugged off.

"Then try harder!" Serah urged, unaware that Kanan was on the other side of the door, hearing the conversation. "Once he's taken away, you may never see Tseebo again."

"Good." Ender spat. "I don't want to see him ever again."

"How can you say something like that?" Serah asked, flabbergasted by how Ender was acting.

"You don't understand. I've been alone since I was nine. If I let myself hope that my parents are still alive, only to find out they're not, I don't know if I can keep on living." Ender explained to her, recalling all of the dark thoughts that roamed his head during the time he was all alone before meeting the crew.

Kanan then made his presence known by opening the door.

"You ready?" Kanan asked Ender.

Ender glanced over at Serah, who wordlessly told him he should talk to Tseebo, but he ignored her, and walked out of the kitchen with Kanan by his side.

They entered the Phantom, Ender sitting on one of the passenger seats, and Kanan in the pilot's seat.

"Strap in." Kanan told Ender, who did as he was told, before activating comms to speak with Hera. "Prepping for separation. Once we're out of hyperspace, we'll head towards the asteroid base and lead the Empire there."

"You sure about this?" Hera asked as Serah sat Tseebo down on the seat behind the co-pilot's seat, as everyone gathered in the cockpit. "You won't be anymore welcome than the Imperials."

"That's what I'm counting on." Kanan replied.

"Just be safe." Hera said worryingly as Serah sat next to her. "And Ender? Look out for Kanan."

"Someone has to." Ender replied, glancing over at his master.

"Ready for separation." Hera told Kanan.

"Copy that, Ghost." Kanan acknowledged.

"Five, four, three, two, one. Detach!" Hera then counted down.

At that moment, Kanan detached the Phantom from the Ghost, and the hyperspace lane started changing. It was no longer blue, instead it was now a blinding collage of orange, blue and red.

Ender closed his eyes while Kanan struggled trying to steady the Phantom through the hyperspace lane until it was jettisoned into space and exited out of hyperspace, still out of control.

Eventually, Kanan steadied and stabilised the Phantom, heading for the asteroid field.

"Okay, okay." He said before he chuckled and glanced back at Ender, who just opened his eyes. "That was the easy part."

The Inquisitor, who was in a Star Destroyer, watched out at the hyperspace lane they were in from the bridge before closing his eyes, sensing something.

"I sense movement in the Force." He said, opening his eyes, to an Imperial officer that approached him from behind named Kassius Konstantine, an admiral of the Imperial Navy.

"Y-yes. The tracker indicates the rebel ship has emerged from hyperspace." Konstantine replied. "Should we -?"

"At once." The Inquisitor replied.

Back with Ender and Kanan, they headed directly for the base on the asteroid.

"Shouldn't we go over the plan again?" Ender asked Kanan.

"I never told you what the plan was." Kanan pointed out.

"There's the problem." Ender groaned.

"You remember the nasty creatures Hera and Serah found here?" Kanan then asked.

"How could I not, when one of them tried mauling him to death." Ender shuddered.

"Well, I'm gonna need you to connect with them like I was trying to teach you before, if we're gonna survive this." Kanan explained, making Ender go wide eyed.

"Are you trying to get us killed? Now isn't the best time for a lesson!" Ender hissed in annoyance.

"Maybe not, but I figure it's learning like you do best, by surviving." Kanan told him as he earned the stink eye by Ender.

"I don't even know if I can do this, Kanan, I'm afraid." He then admitted, earning a chuckle from his master.

"I got news for you, kid. Everyone's afraid, but admitting it, as you just did, makes you braver than most, and it's a step forward." Kanan reassured him.

He flew the Phantom right into the cavern, turning on the headlights, making Ender try to calm himself down by taking deep breaths as he was shuddering.

Kanan then reversed and landed the Phantom, facing outside when they needed to escape.

He then patted Ender's shoulder as he led his Padawan outside.

"I'll get the tracking device off the Phantom. You go make some new friends." He told Ender before they exited. "Here we go."

They entered the dark cavern, the only light coming from inside the Phantom, before Kanan climbed up on top of it, while Ender stepped forward into the cavern, keeping his eyes and ears open for the fyrnocks.

Kanan found the tracker and after a few tugs, he ripped it off the Phantom's hull, making it power down. He then threw it away, bouncing off the remains of an old shuttle from the Clone Wars.

Soon, Ender spotted the fyrnocks' glowing yellow eyes appearing all around him and Kanan, all growling and closing in on them.

Ender exhaled before closing his eyes and extending his hand out.

"One with the Force. Once with the Force." He repeated, hoping for it to work, but the fyrnocks just kept closing in and growling at him and Kanan.

"You're blocked! Let go!" Kanan told Ender, holding his hands out, able to keep the fyrnocks from getting closer. "Don't be afraid!"

"I'm not afraid of them!" Ender replied, still trying.

"Then what?" Kanan questioned him.

"I don't know!" Ender replied as the fyrnocks gained confidence and started to close in on them, making them press their backs against the Phantom. "Ender! What are you afraid of?"

"Of knowing!" Ender admitted. "Of the truth! I'm sorry! I'm so sorry! I forgive you, Tseebo!"

His apology actually reverberated through the Force and Tseebo heard Ender's voice, his construct beeping, and now seemed like he was back to normal, as he looked around the common room, where he was at the moment.

"I, too, am sorry. Forgive me… for everything." He said, standing up.

Kanan was speechless, as Ender did it, he finally managed to connect to another being, actually, many beings, as the fyrnocks all stopped and stared at Ender.

Meanwhile, in deep space, the Ghost was connected to an Alderaanian blockade runner, all part of a rendezvous meeting with Fulcrum to hand Tseebo over to them.

"Fulcrum to Ghost. Docking complete." Fulcrum informed Hera as they docked. "Heading to the airlock now."

"Acknowledged, Fulcrum. We're ready and waiting." Hera replied before turning to leave the cockpit.

"Any chance me and Zeb can meet Fulcrum this time?" Serah asked.

"Nope. This time, you stay in the cockpit." Hera replied before she left them.

"That's what we did last time." Zeb whined while Serah held something in her hands, which she looked at thoughtfully.

Hera opened the door that led to the airlock, surprised to find Tseebo waiting for her, and that he seemed to act normal.

"You seem better." She said as she joined his side.

"Tseebo's mind is clearer now. But it is difficult. There's so much information inside Tseebo." He replied, holding his head in his hands before he and Hera walked to the airlock, the latter placing a hand on the former's shoulder.

"Fulcrum's people will help you with that and keep you safe." She reassured him.

"But will Tseebo see Ender Brand again?" Tseebo then asked.

"I hope so. Someday. Even if he doesn't want to." Hera told him, having been told by Serah that Ender never wanted to see Tseebo again. "Is there anything you'd like me to tell him?"

"Oh, Tseebo failed the Brands. Did not watch over their son. But Tseebo tried to make it right by accessing Imperial files." Tseebo said, ashamed of himself, turning his back to Hera.

"And that intel will be invaluable." Hera promised.

"Oh, intel unimportant, an accident." Tseebo scowled, turning to face Hera again. "Tseebo access file on Ender Brand's parents. Tseebo knows Brands' fate."

"Then tell me, Tseebo." Hera insisted. "Tell me and I'll tell Ender."

The Star Destroyer exited hyperspace and flew near the asteroid field as a Sentinel-class shuttle came out and flew onward towards the asteroids, heading directly for the base, where it landed on the large landing pad outside of the cavern.

The ramp opened up and the Inquisitor and a contingent of stormtroopers exited, one of whom held a tracker in their hands.

"They're here, alright." The commanding stormtrooper told the Inquisitor, pointing at the cavern ahead of them. "The rebel ship is inside."
"Keep them contained. I want them alive." The Inquisitor ordered as they proceeded their way to the cavern.

"Hold formation." The commanding stormtrooper told his fellow troopers.

"Lights up!" He then ordered once they entered the cavern, turning on flashlights attached to their blasters. "Steady!"

One of them shined their light on the Phantom while another shone theirs on Ender and Kanan, who were meditating, surrounded by the fyrnocks.

"Sir, they're over… here." The trooper called out to the Inquisitor, his heart sinking upon seeing the fyrnocks.

"Wait. I sense…." The Inquisitor said, closing his eyes.

"Sir, they're not alone!" A trooper called out as they all gathered together.

Both Ender and Kanan pointed at the troopers and the Inquisitor, which had the fyrnocks screeching before running at the Imperials.

"Shoot it! Shoot it!" One of the troopers yelled as they fired their blasters, missing the fyrnocks, which pounced on them.

A fyrnock leapt at the Inquisitor, who held it in mid air with the Force before throwing it away as he walked up to the pair.

"This was your plan?" He sneered before he chuckled. "To lure us here and allow these creatures to do your work for you?"

Kanan stood and ignited his lightsaber as a fyrnock shook a stormtrooper in its mouth.

"How do you think it's going/" Kanan asked the Inquisitor as the fyrnock threw the trooper away and charged at the dark side user, who slashed at the creature with his lightsaber, igniting one blade.

"Pathetically." He sneered as he kept walking up to Kanan.

"Guess if you want something done right…." Kanan said before he charged at the Inquisitor, who charged at him.

They locked sabers before backing off from each other, in opposite positions.

They charged at each other again and locked sabers before Kanan went on the offensive, getting blocked every time by the Inquisitor with ease, who was now toying with Kanan.

Meanwhile, Ender had more fyrnocks deal with the stormtroopers.

The Inquisitor now had Kanan backing away as he was relentlessly attacking him until they locked sabers again.

Kanan decided to pull out his blaster and fire at the Inquisitor, who deflected the shot and Force pulled the blaster out of his hand before kicking him away in the stomach, knocking Kanan away.

He then threw the blaster away and Force pushed Kanan, knocking him against the wing of a shuttle, knocking him out as he fell to the floor and letting go of his lightsaber, which turned off.

"Kanan!" Ender cried out, opening his eyes and running over to him and the Inquisitor.

"Your meager training is nothing in the face of true power." He sneered down at Kanan.

"Nothing you've done is true power!" Ender snapped as he Force pulled Kanan's lightsaber into his hand, igniting it and stood in front of Kanan. "Stay away from him!"

The Inquisitor sneered as he Force pulled the lightsaber into his free hand.

"I won't. In fact, it's time to end both Jedi and Padawan for good." He told Ender, who started backing away as the Inquisitor walked up to him. "Your devotion to your master is admirable, but it will not save you. Nothing can."

He then Force pushed Ender, who landed at the edge of a dark chasm.

"Just get back, you pathetic bully!" He snarled.

"Ah, yes. Good. Go on. Unleash your anger." The Inquisitor grinned as he laughed. "I will teach you what your master could not."

"You have nothing to teach me!" Ender snapped as he stood.

"The darkness is too strong for you, orphan. It is swallowing you up, even now." The Inquisitor continued on.

"Shut up!" Ender told him.

"Your master will die."

"Shut up!"

"Your friends will die. And everything you've hoped for will be lost. This is the way the story ends."

"SHUT UP!" Ender roared at the top of his lungs, making the Inquisitor laugh.

As Kanan woke up, he saw that stones and pebbles were levitating off the ground and saw Ender's look of pure anger, something that actually had the Inquisitor taken aback and concerned, as Ender's anger actually awoke the mother fyrnock, which was much larger than the normal ones, and crawled out of the chasm behind him.

"Ender? No!" Kanan gasped in horror, seeing his Padawan tap into the dark side.

The mother fyrnock roared at the Inquisitor, which had the normal ones run away, also drawing the attention of the stormtroopers.

The Inquisitor backed up to some steps as he activated both ends of his lightsaber and spun it.

Ender then gestured for the mother fyrnock to attack him. It screeched before charging at him.

Eventually, Ender was so overwhelmed that he blacked out.

Kanan grabbed his blaster and ran to Ender as the Inquisitor clashed with the mother fyrnock, which swiped Kanan's lightsaber out of his grasp, landing on the ground and shutting off.

Upon reaching him, Kanan knelt down and lifted Ender's head off the ground, patting his cheek.

"Ender." He said his name, which helped wake him up, as Ender's eyes opened.

"Kanan?" He said weakly, physically shivering. "What happened? I feel… cold…."

"I know. It's okay. We're leaving." Kanan reassured him softly before lifting him onto his shoulders.

He then ran his way towards the Phantom, which was noticed by the Inquisitor as he sent an attack on the mother fyrnock that made it back away.

Kanan Force pulled his lightsaber into his hand.

A stormtrooper noticed him and Ender, and was about to fire when a fyrnock pounced on him.

Not wanting to let them get away, the Inquisitor spun his lightsaber at the mother fyrnock, injuring it and making it whimper as it backed away from him. He then yelled at it to further intimidate it, which made it finally run away.

He turned to see Kanan and Ender reach the Phantom and about to enter inside it, making him throw his spinning lightsaber at them out of desperation, but Kanan saw it and activated his lightsaber to knock it away before entering the Phantom.

Kanan put Ender in one of the passenger seats and got in the pilot's seat, lifting off and flying out of the cavern as the Inquisitor ran for them and Force pulled his lightsaber into his hand.

For good measure, Kanan fired at the Sentinel-class shuttle, which exploded just after he flew past it.

Once he made it far from the asteroid field and entered the Phantom into deep space, he turned to see Ender wide awake and curled up in the seat he was sitting on. He got up and sat opposite him, needing to check up on him.

"I saved us?" Ender asked him, baffled by what he was told earlier.

"You did." Kanan nodded.

"Something didn't feel right. I felt so cold… and sick, I thought I was gonna enter a permanent coma." Ender shuddered.

"If your will isn't strong enough when you open yourself to the Force, you become vulnerable to the dark side." Kanan explained.

"But I was only trying to protect you. I didn't want to do anything bad." Ender said, feeling shame and guilt.

"I know. But your anger and fear caused that giant creature to attack." Kanan told him.

"Yet I don't remember any of it." Ender said. "Which I'm glad for."

"Yeah. That's for the best." Kanan agreed with him. "Your powers are growing so quickly, you weren't prepared. I didn't teach you what you needed to know. I'm sorry."

"It's alright. We just didn't expect any of that to happen like that." Ender told him.

Soon, they met up with the Ghost and reattached the Phantom to the ship.

They then climbed down into the common room, where everyone gathered to greet them.

"About time you two showed up." Serah said in relief.

"You outsmarted them again. Good job, boss." Zeb grinned at Kanan.

"You made it." Hera said with relief, like Serah.

"Was there any doubt?" Kanan asked.

"Never." Hera shook her head before noticing Ender, who wrapped his arms around himself. "Ender, I have something to -"

"Ender needs a little time to himself right now." Kanan cut Hera off, which Ender was grateful for, as he continued on, leaving the common room, which had everyone confused and concerned while Kanan sighed. "We need to talk."

Ender ended up sitting in the nose turret, letting himself be washed over by the sight of the black void of space with countless stars before him, which he found peaceful, helping him cope with what happened, both at the cavern, and all the emotions he went through with Tseebo.

"These last few days have been pretty rough." Serah ended the tranquil silence Ender was wrapped up in.

"Yeah." Ender replied distantly.

"I think I have just the thing you need, right now." Serah then said, holding up the holodisk that Ender told her about when they were at his old home. "It was degraded, but I did clean it up." She then inserted it into the console next to her. "And I found this."

She flicked a switch and a holographic image popped up in front of Ender.

It showed him as a young boy with his parents.

Minerva, who carried him on her shoulders with a grin, was a regal and beautiful woman with smooth tanned skin, full lips, green eyes and long and shiny silver hair she tied into a bun, wearing a purple dress.

Axel, who stood next to his wife and son, was a proper and well kept man with tanned skin, stubble, purple eyes and short brown hair, wearing a yellow suit.

"Mom… dad…." Ender said softly, his eyes welling up, having forgotten what his parents looked like after so many years of being alone.

"Happy birthday, Ender Brand." Serah said with a smile before kissing his cheek and left him alone to bask in something he just gained.

He may have lost his biological family, but this crew he's now a part of… they're just as good as any kind of family he can ask for.

I felt that Ender had to have a really bad reaction to using the dark side of the Force, as this will pave the way for how he conducts himself in the future, and help make him different from Ezra.
