Idiot's Array

Ender was currently hanging with Hera and Serah in the cargo hold of the Ghost, waiting for Kanan, Zeb and Chopper to come back with a job after coming back from Old Jho's, as they were currently low on cash to provide for food and fuel.

"Do you think we'll get a job soon?" Ender asked Serah as he was currently tossing a ball up and catching it repeatedly to prevent boredom while sitting on top of two crates stacked up on top of each other.

"I hope so. Not having a job to do can get real frustrating." Serah replied as she and Hera were working on a speeder bike.

"Don't worry, I'm sure the others will find a job for us." Hera assured the pair.

"They'd better. Because we're on the cusp of running low on food." Ender sighed before he started to make the ball hover with the Force.

Several moments later, Chopper arrived, beeping and grunting angrily with a guilty looking Zeb following him up the ramp.

"Hi, I can explain." Zeb addressed Hera as Ender stopped hovering the ball.

"Explain what?" Hera asked, expressing her, Ender and Serah's confusion.

"Hera, Serah, Ender." Kanan called for their attention, noticing that a man with brown skin, dark hair, a moustache and brown eyes, wearing some fancy clothes and had an SE-14r light repeating blaster in a holster. "This is Lando Calrissian. He needs a fast ship to move some cargo past the Imperial blockade of Lothal."

Ender narrowed his eyes at Lando as he bowed, having that feeling that he's to keep an eye on.

"Yes. For some reason, this planet has an unusually large Imperial presence." Lando brought up, making Kanan grin sheepishly at Hera, who was suspicious he did something, before glancing back at Lando, who approached her. "But are you sure you can get this vessel past the blockade, Captain… Hera, is it?"

"It is. And the Ghost can mask both its signal and signature. We'll get you past the blockade." Hera replied with folded arms. "What's the cargo?"

"I was told 'no questions asked'." Lando pointed out.

"That's fine. It just costs more." Hera told him.

"Kanan and I already settled on a price. But I assume he requires your approval." Lando replied.

"He doesn't." Hera said.

"Excellent." Lando grinned before turning to Kanan and shook hands with him. "When the job's done, you'll be paid handsomely, and, as agreed, I'll return your droid."

"Return our… droid?" Hera questioned before Chopper angrily beeped, hitting his mechanical arm against Zeb's leg.

"Zeb, what did you do?" Ender asked the Lasat with a frown.

"Uh, yeah. Funny story." Zeb said sheepishly. "You see, Lando and I were playing Sabacc, and I kinda… bet Chopper."

Ender, Hera and Serah were stunned to hear this.

"Garazeb Orrelios, Chopper wasn't yours to bet!" Hera snapped at him, making him wince.

"Kanan said it was okay." Zeb confessed, making Hera's anger boil over to fury as she turned to Kanan.

"And you should know better! Chopper is a member of this crew!" She raged right in his face.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa. We should go." Lando interrupted. "I need to pick up my cargo, and I don't want to keep my supplier waiting. Besides, if all goes well, there won't be anything for you good people to argue about."

Fuming, Hera punched Kanan in the shoulder and stormed off with a growl, leaving Kanan looking sheepishly at Lando.

"You just had to bring out her wrath, didn't you?" Ender questioned Zeb, throwing the ball at the back of his head, bouncing off and making him wince from how hard he threw it.

Hera had the Ghost take off from the grasslands of Lothal and up to the sky, soon entering outer space.

With her in the cockpit was Kanan in the co-pilot seat and Lando sitting behind her with Chopper by his side.

"Oh, you're quite the pilot. That's the smoothest takeoff I've had in years." Lando praised Hera in a charming manner, which was already getting on Kanan's nerves.

"And you're quite the smooth-talking smuggler." Hera replied, not falling for his advances, which did ease Kanan's annoyance slightly, as she flicked a few switches.

"'Smuggler'? Such a small word. I'm more of a… galactic entrepreneur." Lando replied, making Kanan give him the stink-eye. "That means businessperson."

"I know what it means." Kanan snapped at him before he faced forward." Chopper, I need you to fix the signature modulator so we can get past the blockade."

In response, Chopper chattered and grumbled.

"Chopper's right. He's no longer a part of the crew. He doesn't have to do what you tell him anymore." Hera glared at Kanan.

"I can see you have some things to work out." Lando noted before he turned to Chopper. "I wonder, my new friend, if you'd be kind enough to give me a tour of this fine ship."

Chopper chittered, having his mechanical arms out and turned to the door, which opened, turning back to Lando and gibbered for him to follow.

Kanan frowned as Lando and Chopper exited the cockpit just before the ship entered hyperspace.

In the common room, Lando was examining some art that Serah made of a starbird when Chopper came from the galley and gave Lando a drink.

"Why, thank you, Chopper." Lando said gratefully, taking the drink.

"Can't believe the little bolt bucket's actually waiting on that guy." Zeb groaned to Ender, both sitting as they watched Lando and Chopper.

"Which wouldn't have happened if you didn't bet on him." Ender told him off. "Now we have to deal with this guy who thinks he's so charming he can fool anyone."

"Yeah, I even think Calrissian cheated." Zeb whispered.

"Considering he's a smuggler, I wouldn't be surprised if he did." Ender agreed with him. "I just hope that once this job's done, we never see him again."

"I second that." Zeb nodded.

Ender then noticed Serah walking up to Lando.

"Serah, I understand this is your work." He said to the Mandalorian, making Ender glare at him. "Reminds me of Janyor's protest paintings on Bith."

"Well, he was an influence on my work." Serah replied, sounding stern and professional, clearly not finding Lando charming, which did please Ender.

"Well, your work is even more stunning in its simplicity." Lando complimented Serah, who raised an eyebrow at Lando.

"No one likes an adult charming an underage, you creep." Ender called him out, since Serah's a year younger than him. Zeb snorted in amusement and Serah had to hold back a laugh.

"As long as I have the person's consent, it shouldn't be a problem." Lando retorted, making Ender and Zeb collectively roll their eyes at the man trying to defend himself, and rather poorly in their opinion, because it's still problematic.

"Anyway, are you interested in seeing my more impressionistic pieces?" Serah asked Lando.

"I happen to be an impressionistic connoisseur." Lando replied before turning to Ender. "That means -"

"I know what it means, I'm not some uneducated brute, you know." Ender coolly cut him off, watching Lando and Serah leave the common room.

"Already regret betting on Chopper?" Ender asked Zeb.

"Starting to." Zeb replied.

Shortly after, the Ghost exited hyperspace in deep space.

Hera, Kanan and Lando looked out through the windshield and saw a C-ROC Gozanti-class light cruiser ahead of them.

"Merchant-One, this is Calrissian. Requesting permission to dock." Lando spoke through comms.

"You have the goods?" A rather pathetic sounding male voice asked.

"Always." Lando grinned, glancing at Hera, which Kanan didn't approve of, making her roll her eyes.

"Ah, then permission granted." The voice replied.

The two ships connected via airlocks, Hera, Kanan and Lando walking to the door connecting the ships.

"Now, whatever I say, just play along." Lando told Hera.

"Wait. What does that mean?" Kanan questioned him just before they stopped in front of the door.

"I hope you have a backup plan in case something goes wrong." Hera said to Lando just before the door opened and they were being escorted by a couple of men in all black, including helmets, wielding blaster rifles.

"No fear, Captain. If a comet hits, this ship has escape pods." Lando shrugged off.

"That's not exactly the kind of 'wrong' I had in mind." Hera said concerningly.

They were led into a room, which they entered, finding themselves facing a rather disgustingly looking Jablogian, which had red skin and green eyes, as well as an overweight torso, eating fruit with his hands with a droid holding a tray full of said fruit.

"Good to see you again, Azmorigan." Lando greeted him, while Hera and Kanan looked at the Jablogian with disgust.

"I have what you ordered." Azmorigan told Lando, gesturing to the crate next to him, before eating a fruit in his hand, making a mess and drooling as he moaned from how delicious the fruit was. "What do you have to offer in return?"

"Her name is Hera." Lando replied, shoving Hera forward.

"WHAT?" Kanan gasped in horror, a feeling Hera felt, as well. "You can't do this!"

"Trust me." Lando insisted.

"Hera!" Kanan called out, hoping she could talk sense out of this ridiculousness, but she just turned and glared at him.

"A deal's a deal, Kanan." She hissed, deciding to basically punish him for putting them and the crew in this mess in the first place.

Azmorigan grumbled as he examined Hera, rather creepily, as well.

"Well, her attire is, uh, preposterous, but the trade is, uh, mmm… is acceptable." He then said.

Kanan looked like he was going to kill and stormed to Azmorigan, but Lando stopped him by grabbing his arm, and Hera shook her head at him. Now fuming, Kanan ripped his arm out of Lando's grip, who then stepped up to Azmorigan.

"Thank you, Lord Calrissian, for delivering me to my new master." Hera said, acting like a standard slave, as Lando activated the anti-grav on the crate. "I must find a way to repay you."

Lando was about to place a hand on her cheek, but she slapped it away with a look that can kill.

"Please don't let it concern you." Lando replied.

"Enough prattle." Azmorigan groaned. "Eh, you disturb my supper." He then belched. "Uh, take your cargo and go."

"As always, Azmorigan, a pleasure doing business with you." Lando said before he turned to leave with the crate, Kanan followed him after sharing a glance with Hera, being escorted by two of Azmorigan's men.

They made it to the airlock, where Ender and Serah waited for them.

"What happened to Hera?" Serah asked Kanan as the airlock door closed back up.

"Please don't tell me that this pig sold her to some lowlife!" Ender snarled, pointing a finger at Lando.

"He did." Kanan grimly replied to his Padawan, making Lando turn to them as Zeb entered the airlock.

"Hera is following the plan, which is what we should be doing if we want to get her back." Lando explained

"Oh, so there's a plan, huh? Funny you never mentioned anything about that beforehand!" Ender snapped at him.

"Where's Hera?" Zeb asked, being clueless right now.

"Oh, this stinking smuggler sold her off to a lowlife." Serah replied, making Zeb growl at Lando.

"And what plan is she following?" Kanan questioned Lando.

"I told her to take an escape pod." Lando replied.

"You never told her that." Kanan shook his head angrily.

"I did, actually. Weren't you paying attention?" Lando replied before he pushed the crate forward. "Besides, Hera strikes me as very capable."

"Yeah, capable of kicking your ass for selling her off!" Ender barked as he and Zeb followed him.

"Perhaps, but we are quite lucky to have a captain like her." Lando shrugged as he continued pushing the crate.

"There is no 'we', Calrissian." Zeb snarled. "Hera is our captain, not yours. And you have no chance with her, at all."

"Worth a try, anyway." Lando shrugged again.

The Ghost detached from the Merchant-One and flew off while Ender, Zeb, Chopper and Lando entered the cargo hold, where the latter placed the crate, deactivating the anti-grav.

"What's in here, anyway?" Ender frowned.

"Sophisticated mining equipment." Lando replied as an audible snoring can be heard from within the crate.

"Since when does mining equipment snore?" Ender then asked, folding his arms.

"Just don't open the box. And whatever you do, keep it calm." Lando instructed Ender and Zeb just before climbing up the ladder into the cockpit.

Chopper then gibbered at the pair with a mechanical arm out before following Lando.

The pair looked at each other, knowing full well they weren't gonna listen to that annoying smuggler, that is Lando.

Back on the Merchant-One, Azmorigan continued to eat fruit messily, his face covered in drool and fruit as he hawked and spat out a seed, all making Hera cringe in disgust.

"You need food?" Azmorigan asked her, holding the fruit in his hand out to her.

"I seem to have lost my appetite. But perhaps you'd like me to serve you." Hera suggested as Azmorigan threw the fruit over his shoulder and grabbed another from the tray held by the droid.

"Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. Good practice for you." Azmorigan muttered. "Uh, serve me, serve me." He then stammered. "Be quick about it."

Hera took the tray full of fruit from the droid and held it in front of him.

"And perhaps you'd prefer to eat alone?" She then suggested.

"Mmm. Oh, yes." Azmorigan grinned before turning to his men that guarded the door. "Go, go. Leave us. Beat it!"

The two men left the room, and the door closed behind them.

"Take the whole tray." Hera then told him.

"What are you talking about?" Azmorigan questioned with suspicious eyes.

In response, Hera hit his head with the tray twice, knocking the Jablogian out as he fell to the floor on his chest.

Hera then walked out of the room and turned to one of the men that stayed to guard the door.

"The master desires a little more alone time while I change clothes in my quarters." Hera told him, being escorted, only to knock the man out with the tray before walking away. "That was a really useful tray."

She threw it away and ran for the escape pods, opening one of them and entering. She got in the pilot seat and powered it up before jettisoning it away from the Merchant-One and to the Ghost, which turned to her.

"In a pod, as we discussed." Lando told Kanan in the pilot's seat, with Chopper next to him and Serah sitting behind the co-pilot's seat. "You really should have more faith in your captain."

Kanan turned to him with a glare.

"Since Kanan clearly wants to kill you, let's go prep the airlock." Serah told Lando, leading him out of the cockpit with Chopper.

The Merchant-One turned and went after Hera, who had just been able to dock the escape pod onto the Ghost.

"Hera's aboard, Kanan. Let's get out of here." Serah informed Kanan through the comlink.

"Yes, we should make ourselves scarce." Lando added.

"Somebody should." Kanan muttered angrily before the escape pod detached, now that Hera's onboard, and then entered the Ghost into hyperspace back to Lothal.

Serah, Chopper and Lando met up with Hera in the airlock.

"You played that perfectly. Thank you." Lando complimented her.

"Oh, you're welcome." Hera replied before placing a hand on his shoulder and punched him really hard in the groin, making him cough and wheeze. Hera then threatened to hit him again, holding a fist up. Of course, Serah found it incredibly funny, so much so she laughed.

"I deserve that." Lando replied, his voice sounding high pitched before it went back to normal. "But can we get back to the job at hand, flying us past the Imperial blockade? Otherwise, I don't have to pay you or give you your droid back."

"What was in that crate?" Hera asked sternly, her hands on her hips.

"Come on. I'll show you." Lando replied.

In the cargo hold, Ender and Zeb looked down at the crate.

"Lando said to not open it, but screw him." Ender told Zeb, who chuckled.

"Then let's see what this mining equipment is." He said, kneeling down and pressed a button to open it.

Out came a small creature with horns on its head and spikes down its back. It also had yellow skin with patterns all over its body and blue eyes, also having a trunk.

As it came out, it snorted and sniffed.

"What the heck is that?" Ender questioned with a scrunched up face, tilting his head to the right.

Zeb bent down to sniff it, unknowingly frightening it as it backed away, squealing.

It then ran for the ladder and made its way up it.

"After it!" Ender told Zeb before they climbed up the ladder after it, one at a time.

When it reached the cockpit, Kanan turned to see Ender and Zeb chase after it down the hallway.

"That's what was in the crate." Lando told Hera, Serah and Chopper, as they saw it run past the ladder to the dorsal turret and circle around with Ender on its tail. He then leapt at it, barely missing it as it ran back down the hallway. "Grab that puffer pig, but don't scare her."

The puffer pig was soon grabbed by Zeb.

"Got her!" He said as Ender joined his side, though the puffer pig was squealing and shaking, like she was trying to get away from him.

"You're scaring her! I told you not to scare her!" Lando frowned

"I'm not scaring her!" Zeb snarled back.

But then the puffer pig squealed and suddenly inflated to such a large size that she blocked the hallway, leaving Ender, Zeb and Kanan in the front with Hera, Serah, Chopper and Lando in the back.

"Karabast!" Zeb grunted as he stepped back.

"Literally puffing, sheesh." Ender muttered.

"Whoa!" Both Hera and Serah gasped in shock, as they didn't expect this.

"You see? You scared her!" Lando scolded Zeb.

"How was he supposed to know a puffer pig can get scared easily by a Lasat?" Ender retorted.

"What is going on out here?" Kanan asked Ender and Zeb, very much fed up, as he walked up to them.

"A mishap with a puffer pig." Ender replied.

"I don't wanna know." Kanan sighed, very exasperated at the moment, as he walked back to the pilot's seat.

Soon, the Ghost exited hyperspace and flew right for Lothal, where the Imperial blockade hovered over orbit.

"We've reached the blockade." Kanan informed everyone. "I could really use Hera on this side of the pig right about now."

"Yeah, I don't see that happening." Zeb sighed.

"And even if we do try, the pig will probably just inflate even more." Ender added.

"Any idea what the Imperials are hoping to find with this blockade?" Hera asked Lando.

"Rebels?" Lando replied, clearly avoiding answering her.

"Besides that." Hera frowned.

"Unauthorised mining equipment, perhaps." Lando still tried being vague with her.

"And why would they be looking for that?" Hera asked the smuggler that tried too hard to be charming, who sighed.

"Maybe because I tried smuggling some here a week ago." He replied, getting too close in her personal space with a 'charming' smile, which she wasn't phased by, in the slightest. "Don't worry." He held his hands up and backed away. "The Imperials are scanning for equipment, machinery. But our girl here is one hundred percent organic." He then slapped the puffer pig, making her squeal. "Their scanners won't detect her, so long as your ship can mask its signature."

"You know it can't until you ask Chopper to fix it." Hera reminded him.

"Yeah, which you should've done from the start instead of wasting time trying to charm me and Hera." Serah said, folding her arms, which had Lando laughing.

"You two are catching on." He said as Zeb peeked around the puffer pig before turning to Chopper. "Alright, my little friend. Would you like to be a hero and fix it for me?"

Chopper grunted in affirmation before heading off.

Meanwhile, one of the Star Destroyers, the one called the Relentless, a scanning technician scanned the Ghost on the bridge.

"Admiral." He called out to Konstantine, who turned and walked up to him. "This Corellian ship matches the description of the rebel craft we've been looking for."

Just then, Chopper reached a small panel and pressed a button, which activated the signature modulator, which Kanan could see with a monitor in front of him turning from brown to blue.

"Okay, signature modulator's back online. And just in time." Kanan informed everyone.

"No. Its signature reads the freighter Tontine, authorised for travel between Boz Pity and Lothal." Konstantine told the technician before activating the comms to talk to the Ghost. "Tontine, prepare for scanning."

The Ghost was now being escorted by a couple of TIE fighters on either side.

"Serah, once we get back to Lothal, I'd love to purchase some of your art." Lando said, making Ender very annoyed at him for trying to charm Serah, even after being told it was pointless.

"Sorry, not for sale." Serah replied coolly.

"You'd think he'd learn by now." Ender whispered to Zeb, who nodded in agreement.

"Scans clear, Tontine. You may proceed." An Imperial told Kanan.

"We're gonna make it!" Kanan grinned as the two TIEs left the Ghost alone, allowing Kanan to fly directly for Lothal.

Kanan then flew the Ghost to some coordinates Lando provided, after the puffer pig calmed down and deflated, landing at a farm in the middle of the grasslands.

"It's probably best you keep some distance from the puffer pig." Ender advised Zeb as everyone disembarked from the Ghost via the ramp. "Don't want it to inflate again upon seeing your face."

"I'll keep that in mind." Zeb replied.

"This is your land?" Hera questioned Lando about the farm.

"Bought it off a charming fellow named Vizago." Lando replied.

"Perfect. But why was it so important to get this pig here?" Hera then asked.

"Because a puffer pig has a nose for precious minerals." Lando explained, looking at the puffer pig sniffing the ground. "It can do the job of a dozen mining scanners."

"And the Empire doesn't want private landholders mining Lothal." Hera concluded as everyone stopped walking.

"We're done here. Pay us, and we'll be on our way." Kanan said impatiently, wanting to part ways with Lando as soon as possible, something everyone else felt.

"He has other debts to pay!" A certain voice yelled out.

Everyone turned to see Azmorigan pop out from behind some crates with a blaster pistol in his hand, aiming it at the group. And some of his men also popped out from other crates, on top of the roof of the farm and a landspeeder, aiming their rifles at the group, as well.

"Azmorigan?" Lando questioned in shock.

"You forgot I introduced you to Vizago, huh?" The Jablogian sneered. "I knew where you were headed."

"But your ship… you couldn't have hidden it anywhere close. Did you… walk here? You don't walk anywhere." Lando said, utterly perplexed.

"Well, I do what's necessary to claim my property, Calrissian." Azmorigan hissed.

"What do you want?" Hera frowned.

"My demands are simple. I want my pig back… and you. Plus this ship and this crew as compensation for my sore feet." Azmorigan demanded, scratching one of his feet. "But first… first, I want to bury Calrissian."

"Yeah, yeah, I understand the feeling." Hera related as Lando cringed at the idea of being buried. Hera then placed an arm in front of Lando. "But no."

"Now, wait." Kanan said, budging in. "Let's consider that last demand for a sec."

"Yeah, it would be a fitting punishment for putting all of us in this stupid mess." Ender agreed with his Master.

Meanwhile, Azmorigan grumbled before he snapped.

"I've run out of patience! Get them!" He ordered his men as he fired a shot at the group, making them run for cover and fire back.

"Get back!" Hera yelled as she and Lando, carrying the puffer pig, parted from Ender and Kanan, who parted from Zeb and Serah, the latter firing at Azmorigan, who ducked behind the crates he popped out of, using crates as cover.

The two men by the landspeeder fired at the pair as Chopper made his way to hide.

"Don't hide there! That fuel canister can explode!" Serah warned the astromech, who looked at said canister with an idea popping up.

Azmorigan fired at Ender and Kanan, who hid behind some crates.

Deciding to partake in the fight, Ender grabbed his lightsaber hilt, which Kanan noticed, and aimed, but Kanan pulled him back.

"No lightsabers, not unless we're -"

"Just calm down, will ya? And watch." Ender grinned.

He turned and aimed his hilt at the man on the rooftop and fired a shot, revealing that his hilt can also function as a blaster, hitting the man, stunning him and making him fall off the roof.

"Hey! Mine doesn't do that." Kanan complained with jealousy before firing a shot at another one of Azmorigan's men.

"I may not know how to properly wield a lightsaber yet, but I can still shoot." Ender grinned after he blew some smoke from his hilt.

"Kid, you continue to impress." Kanan grinned back with a wink.

Lando then fired a shot with his blaster, hitting one of Azmorigan's men from behind some crates.

"Eh, average shot." Serah shrugged.

"At least I actually impress, unlike Lando." Ender snorted.

As the fight continued, Chopper tried hard to push the fuel canister to the Ghost.

Azmorigan fired a shot that nearly hit Lando, instead hitting a crate, which caused the puffer pig in his arms to squeal and shake out of his grip and run away, heading towards Zeb and Serah as Chopper continued pushing the canister to the Ghost.

Hera noticed this and an idea came to her.

"Zeb, the pig! Scare it!" She called out.

"What? How?" Zeb questioned in bafflement.

"Just be you." Hera replied.

Zeb then saw the puffer pig right towards him, so he got on all fours in front of her.

"Hey! PIG!" He roared in her face.

This made her squeal in fright before inflating into a large ball, leaving Zeb totally bewildered as he watched the puffer pig bounce off towards the landspeeder, knocking down the two men that used it as cover.

Serah shrugged before she ran to the landspeeder, jumped off it onto the puffer pig, making it squeal, and landed on the rooftop.

Chopper reached the ramp of the Ghost, struggling to push it up while being fired upon, which Zeb noticed, and shot the one shooting at Chopper, who gibbered at Zeb just as he pushed the canister into the cargo hold.

"You're welcome!" Zeb called out to Chopper, unaware of Azmorigan popping out of cover and headed to him.

The two remaining men had their rifles blasted out of their hands by Serah up on the rooftop, making them stand with their arms up as she kept her blasters pointed at them.

But then Zeb groaned and dropped his bo-rifle as Azmorigan pointed his blaster at him from behind, forcing him to have his arms up.

"New terms, I get Calrissian, and this one lives!" He sneered, making Ender, Kanan, Hera and Lando stand up from behind cover. "I get Calrissian, and you all can go free!"

"Sure." Ender shrugged.

"Deal." Kanan nodded.

"It's tempting, but the answer's still no." Hera shot the idea down, making the Jedi pair sigh in annoyance and frustration.

Chopper made his way up to the nose turret, which he activated and turned to Azmorigan and Zeb, firing a shot that hit the ground behind them, knocking them both onto the ground, but Zeb got right back up with his bo-rifle, which he aimed at the Jablogian.

He looked up at Chopper, who saluted, making Zeb salute back in response.

"My terms, you and your men leave now, and we let you live." Hera told Azmorigan, who got back up, glaring at him with contempt. "Start walking."

Zeb kicked him in the back, forcing him forward and whimpering, before he started walking.

Serah fired a few shots at the two men, making them run off and follow their boss as they walked past the Ghost while everyone gathered back up.

"I like everything that just happened except that you let Azmorigan live. That'll be a problem for me later." Lando told Hera.

"I think you have a problem now. You don't have the credits you owe us, do you?" Hera said. "In fact, you never did."

"Wow, a smuggler and a cheapskate, such an unpleasant combination." Ender groaned, shaking his head as he facepalmed.

"Oh, I will once my baby's worked her magic." Lando said, patting the puffer pig, which had deflated back to normal.

"You mean if she finds what you're looking for." Hera corrected him. "And you've mined and smuggled it offworld?"

"I can give you back your droid." Lando pointed out, gesturing at Chopper, who chattered and flexed his mechanical arms.

"That won't satisfy your debt to me." Hera coolly pointed out as Lando stood back up. "Not after what you pulled."

"Then how about we settle that debt with a little game of Sabacc?" Lando suggested.

"After you clearly cheated on the game you had with Zeb? Yeah, right." Ender snorted.

The Ghost crew then walked their way to the ship, with Chopper stopping with Lando kneeling next to him.

"Don't worry, my small metal friend. We shall meet again." He told the astromech, who lifted Lando's arm off with his mechanical arms, angrily beeping as he joined the others.

"Come on, I saved your circuits. Isn't that apology enough?" Zeb told Chopper after he beeped at him.

Chopper then blew a raspberry as he went up the ramp with everyone following him.

"So that's it? We just walk away without the creds?" Kanan questioned Hera.

"Well, we got Chopper back." Hera reminded him.

"I'm looking for a positive here." Kanan grumbled.

"There are a lot of things we couldn't accomplish without him. You should appreciate that more." Hera told him.

"Like how I appreciate you, Serah." Ender said as Serah turned the lights on in the cargo hold and closed the ramp up before removing her helmet.

"And I thank you for that." Serah grinned, pating Ender's cheek.

"'Course, we still need food and fuel." Hera reminded everyone.

Chopper then hooted, drawing everyone's attention as he revealed the fuel canister he took from Lando.

"Look at that, our own Chopper stole from Lando!" Serah grinned.

"You mean he was playing Lando the whole time?" Zeb questioned.

"It would seem so." Ender replied as Chopper gibbered.

"Good job, Chopper." Zeb grinned as Serah chuckled and Chopper whooped and spun his head.

"Anyone who fools Lano is okay with me." Kanan admitted.

"Of course I knew they took the fuel." Lando told the puffer pig as he stood. "That's why I didn't pay them."

The Ghost then lifted off the ground and turned to fly off.

"A gambler never shows his cars." Lando noted as the Ghost took off. "Till we meet again!"

I'm not ashamed to admit that I don't like Lando, I think he's possibly the most overrated Star Wars character ever. I just don't think he's that charming, and he just comes off as trying too hard.
