Fire Across the Galaxy
At night, stormtroopers were patrolling a landing platform that had parked TIE fighters and a Gozanti-class cruiser.
Behind a pair of stormtroopers appeared Serah.
"Have you missed me, bucketheads?" She called for their attention, having messed with this landing platform before. They turned to see her with some spray paint in her hand.
"It's her!" One of them said as they both primed their blasters and fired at her, though she dodged their shots by climbing up onto the roof of a building next to her and ran along the rooftop before ducking for cover.
"Wow, you truly did miss me, how sweet." Serah said in a mockingly sweet tone as she popped back up and ran to the edge of the rooftop, dodging more blaster fire, before jumping off the building and rolled on a large crate for cover.
"We have an intruder on the north side, Sector Nine." One of the troopers informed through comms. "The artist is back. Sound the alarm."
The alarm started blaring as they started chasing after Serah.
Of course, they were oblivious to Ender and Zeb creeping up by the building, peeking to see them run off.
"Well, Serah's distracting them, alright. Let's move." Ender told Zeb, the pair now heading towards the cruiser.
Serah jumped onto and rolled on another large crate, continuing to dodge blaster fire as more stormtroopers showed up, before jumping onto the rooftop of another building.
As the stormtroopers continued going after her, they were still all oblivious of Ender and Zeb, who now reached the cruiser and entered via the lift underneath the ship.
The pair then made their way to the cockpit, where they both took the pilot seats and activated the ship, which started lifting off the ground.
Meanwhile, Serah ducked to avoid being shot at from the troopers.
"You may have gotten better." She told them before flipping off the building, landing on the ground and then bounced off a stormtrooper before climbing up on top of a TIE fighter, still dodging their shots. "But I got much better."
As the cruiser continued lifting off, she turned to see Zeb through the windscreen of the cockpit, the two waving at each other.
"That's not one of us!" A trooper noted, spotting Zeb, which made all the others fire up at the cruiser while Serah jumped onto the ship's lift.
"See ya!" She told all of them before the lift moved up into the cruiser.
The stormtroopers then stopped firing when they heard beeping, making them look to see that a thermal detonator was planted on a TIE fighter's wing.
"Not again." A trooper groaned, as this had happened last time Serah messed with them. "Everyone, evacuate!"
The troopers then started running, but the detonator exploded, destroying the TIE fighter, which then caused all the other TIE fighters to be destroyed while the cruiser flew away, passing through the smoke of the destroyed TIEs, inadvertently forming the shape of the phoenix Serah spray paints.
Out in space, with the cruiser connected to the Ghost via airlocks, everyone gathered in the common room, looking at a hologram of the planet Mustafar, and a fleet in orbit of it. Rocket was among them, now with a new green and white paint job.
"The transport you stole will get us close enough to the fleet over Mustafar." Hera said before the hologram changed, now showing the Sovereign, Tarkin's personal Star Destroyer. "We know they have Kanan on Tarkin's Star Destroyer."
"And it's surrounded by a bunch of other Star Destroyers." Zeb reminded everyone as the hologram now showed a bunch of Star Destroyers.
"Uh, lots more. We'll need a distraction to cover our entry. Serah?" Hera said, turning to the resident Mandalorian, the hologram showing a more detailed look at the Sovereign.
"Well, the engine room's here." Serah said, pointing at a part of the Star Destroyer. "It provides power for the whole ship. And if we get inside the docking bay, I can rig something up to black 'em out. But the transport ship isn't gonna fit in there."
"We need something small enough to get into that hangar bay." Hera noted as the hologram shut off, sighing with regret. "Too bad we blew up all the TIEs at that base."
Ender then recalled something.
"Well, there actually is one left, though it isn't at the base." He told her, and Zeb knew what he meant.
"Uh-uh. Uh-uh." He shook his head.
"We have to Zeb, if we want to save Kanan." Ender told him as Serah sat next to him.
"Fine." Zeb sighed reluctantly. Of course, all of this made Hera suspicious.
"What's going on?" She asked everyone.
"You know that TIE we stole a while back? Well… we didn't exactly crash it." Ender revealed.
"And by 'didn't exactly' you mean…?" Hera asked.
"We didn't actually crash it. We actually kept and hid it." Ender admitted.
"You all knew about this?" Hera questioned him, Zeb and Serah, their silence being an answer on its own, making her sigh. "I should be angry. I should yell at you for disobeying a direct order. But right now, I'm just grateful we got it."
"Though, there is a slight problem with it." Ender said, giving Serah a certain look that made her curl up slightly.
"What kind of problem?" Hera asked Serah.
"Yeah, what kind of problem?" Zeb asked, standing up, folding his arms and frowning at Serah, as well, who smiled innocently with a shrug.
Serah led everyone to where the hidden TIE fighter was kept, and it was clear what kind of problem they were dealing with: it was covered in Serah's artwork, having wild and colourful patterns on the inside of its wings and on the starfighter's main body.
"Okay. Well, this is awful." Zeb rolled his eyes.
"Hey, this is some of my best work, thank you very much!" Serah snapped at him in offense.
"It'll have to do." Hera shrugged.
"I thought you were supposed to be the sane one." Zeb rounded on her. "This whole plan is as crazy as those colours."
"Maybe you're right. Maybe this mission doesn't make military sense. But Kanan is family." Hera replied, now standing in front of everyone. "And we've all lost enough family to the Empire. So rescuing him makes sense to me. I'm not ordering you, any of you, to come along. But you need to decide now. In or out?"
"I'm in, without question." Ender replied instantly.
"I'm definitely in." Serah replied with a determined nod, making Zeb sigh.
"Karabast. I'm in. But what about that?" He said, pointing at the TIE.
"Eh, no time to fix it." Hera shrugged as she looked back at it. "Besides, the Imperials will only scan it. By the time the Imperials see it…."
"It'll be too late for them to do anything." Serah finished for her.
With a plan in place, they attached the TIE onto the cruiser and they reached Mustafar via hyperspace, heading right for the fleet of four Star Destroyers, which were over the volcanic and red planet of Mustafar.
The moment he laid eyes on the planet, Ender found himself feeling and sensing so much pain and anger radiating from it, so much so that he shuddered. He even heard a couple of voices that sounded distant.
"I HATE YOU!"
"You were my brother, Anakin! I loved you!"
"Ender? You alright?" Serah asked, seeing that he was spaced out, which snapped him out of it.
"Yeah. Just sensed stuff. This planet has had some bad history." Ender replied, wondering who the voices belonged to.
"I'll send in our transponder code as soon as we know Kanan is there." Hera then told everyone, flicking some switches. "Ender?"
Ender nodded before he closed his eyes and tuned into the Force to sense out Kanan.
"So, anything?" Zeb asked, not even giving Ender five seconds.
"Don't rush him." Serah hissed under her helmet.
"How can I not?" Zeb questioned, gesturing at one of the Star Destroyers, which they neared.
"Ender, is he there?" Hera asked anxiously.
Ender continued reaching out through the Force, soon sensing his master, who was locked up in a cell, held up, no doubt for torture. Kanan's eyes then opened as he gasped, as he sensed Ender.
"He's there, alright!" Ender told Hera, opening his eyes as he grinned. "And he's alive!"
"Sending codes." Hera instantly said, pressing buttons on the control panels surrounding her as she flew towards the Sovereign, seeing that a docking bay was opening. "They bought it. Rocket, send in Serah's present."
Rocket acknowledged before inserting a probe into a slot, which allowed him to detach the TIE they're planning to use and it then flew towards the Sovereign's docking bay, landing among some other TIEs, instantly drawing the attention of a couple of Stormtroopers in the bay with Serah's art.
"That's not regulation." One of them said.
"I kinda like it." The other admitted sheepishly.
As they approached it, they were unaware of the many EMP detonators that were beeping inside the TIE, which were then set off by Serah with her computer linked gauntlet, causing a large EMP wave that spread throughout the whole Star Destroyer, even shocking the stormtroopers, forcing the whole ship to lose its main power.
With that done, Hera flew the cruiser to the side of the Sovereign and attached onto it.
"This shouldn't take long. Keep the engine running, you two." Hera told Chopper and Rocket as she and the other headed off to get onboard the Star Destroyer.
Ender ended up using his lightsaber to slice a hole into the Sovereign, finding himself, Serah, Zeb and Hera in the middle of a hallway lit with yellow lights and stormtroopers knocked out up and down the hallway.
"They'll wake up soon." Serah told everyone about the troopers.
"How soon?" Ender asked.
"Too soon, I reckon." Zeb replied.
"Come on. This way." Ender then said, leading everyone down the hallway, all of whom had their blasters out.
Back on the cruiser, both Rocket and Chopper saw that Sentinel-class shuttles and TIE fighters flew to the Sovereign from another Star Destroyer, leaving them concerned..
Because of this, Chopper informed everyone through the comlink that reinforcements were coming as they made a left turn.
"Reinforcements already? That was fast." Hera noted with annoyance.
"Hey, on a ship this big, it'll take a while for them to find us." Serah reassured her.
But when they made a right turn, they all stopped upon seeing stormtroopers approach them, all with black shoulder pads on, clearly being the reinforcements.
"Drop your weapons! Hands up!" One of them barked at the four.
"You just had to jinx us." Ender groaned before he fired a shot at the trooper that ordered them, knocking them out and launching them onto the other troopers.
They then turned to run back the way they came, but stopped as another reinforcement showed up, blocking their way.
"It's the rebels! This way!" He told other troopers as the four turned around and ran.
Two more troopers joined him and chased them as they reached a door that Hera shut behind them just as they fired shots.
"Get back." Ender told Hera as he ignited his lightsaber.
She did as she was told and Ender stabbed into the door, making the door melt together so that it can't be opened.
"Clever. Now what?" Serah asked.
"Getting to Kanan meant going down that hall, and I just cut off our only way to get to him." Ender replied, deactivating his lightsaber.
"Might be our only way, but it's not yours." Hera pointed out, looking up at a hatch for the air ducts.
Zeb lifted Ender up, who opened the hatch and climbed into the ducts.
"Be careful." Ender told the others before he closed the hatch up.
"Let's go. Let's go." Hera told Serah and Zeb, leading them through the hallways.
Back with Chopper and Rocket, the two found themselves getting worried and anxious, especially when they saw that more reinforcements were on their way.
In fact, Chopper ended up setting his antennae up and made contact with Fulcrum, their hologram activating for Chopper to communicate, which confused Rocket.
"This is Fulcrum. Who is this?" Fulcrum questioned before Chopper replied.
Back with Ender, he reached a grate, which he sliced up with his lightsaber, kicking it open, exiting into a hexagonal hallway where cells were lined up.
He deactivated his lightsaber and wandered down the hallway until he stopped, sensing Kanan in the cell to his left. With this, he opened the cell by pressing a button on a panel, finding Kanan himself.
"Looks like you taught me well." Ender told him with relief as he entered the cell.
"You shouldn't have come here, but I'm glad you did." Kanan admitted with a grin.
"You would've done the same for me, which you've done before." Ender pointed out, removing the restraints, making Kanan fall, though he caught him and helped carry his master out.
With Hera, Zeb and Serah, they reached some elevators, Hera pressing a button to open one, but when it did, more stormtroopers appeared, making her shoot three of the four in the elevator.
"Ender had better found Kanan by now." Serah hoped as they ran off, more stormtroopers still chasing after them.
With Ender and Kanan, they entered the ship's large core reactor room, stopping upon seeing the Inquisitor ahead of them on the walkway, like he waited for them to show up.
He then activated and wielded his red lightsaber, ready to fight.
"Let me borrow that." Kanan requested, grabbing Ender's lightsaber hilt.
"Sure." Ender replied as Kanan activated it and stepped in front of him.
Kanan then charged at the Inquisitor, holding the lightsaber in a thrusting position. Then, when he was close enough, he deactivated it and fired some shots, surprising the Inquisitor, who blocked the shots, before Kanan reactivated the lightsaber and swung at him, getting blocked.
He then became aggressive, slashing at the Inquisitor, who backed up, defending himself before he tried to go on the offensive, knocking Kanan back and tried kicking him, but missed, as he stepped back.
Kanan then backflipped away as the Inquisitor charged at him, deactivating Ender's lightsaber to fire a shot at him, making the dark side user block the shot. He then charged back at the Inquisitor, firing more shots, all of which impressed and surprised Ender.
"Why didn't I think of that?" He asked himself.
He then ran up close as Kanan continued firing shots until he was close enough to the Inquisitor to continue using the lightsaber blade, attacking and blocking the Inquisitor.
When he thrust at him, the Inquisitor jumped over him, his back now facing Ender, who stopped running.
The two then clashed lightsabers again until they locked blades with the Inquisitor pressing down on Kanan with a psychotic look on his face.
Ender then noticed that he had Kanan's lightsaber hilt hooked to his belt, and so, he used the Force to pull the hilt into his hand. He then activated the lightsaber, which drew the Inquisitor's attention.
Seeing that he now had two opponents instead of one, he shoved Kanan back, giving them some distance.
"At last, a fight that might be worthy of my time." He told the pair before activating the second blade on his lightsaber.
Ender and Kanan glanced at each other, the latter nodding to the former, before they charged at the Inquisitor.
When they reached him, the Inquisitor blocked Kanan and knocked back Ender before focusing on Kanan solely, forcing him back as he went on the offensive, occasionally using the spinning feature on his lightsaber.
Then when Kanan swung at him, the Inquisitor jumped back and tried attacking Ender, but was blocked by him, and did so again before Kanan tried getting his attention, but the Inquisitor managed to push Ender back via the Force, launching him further back on the walkway onto his back, Kanan's lightsaber deactivating.
Then after slashing at Kanan, who ducked under his lightsaber, the Inquisitor repeatedly kicked Kanan in the stomach, knocking him back as he held his stomach. He was then pushed back via the Force, landing on his back.
Ender groaned as he got back up on his feet, ready to fight again and reactivating Kanan's lightsaber.
But then the Inquisitor made his lightsaber spin and threw it at Ender, who hit, but the force knocked him back and one of the blades struck him in the face, forming a cut that went horizontal on his right cheek.
All of this combined made Ender scream as he dropped Kanan's lightsaber and fell off the walkway.
"NO!" Kanan screamed in horror as the Inquisitor's lightsaber came back to him.
He then turned to sneer at Kanan's horrified look on his face as he looked down at Ender's body on a lower walkway, believing that his Padawan was now dead.
But then Kanan took a deep breath as he closed his eyes, like he was steeling himself, and stood, staring back at the sneering Inquisitor.
"That was a mistake." He told the dark side user coolly.
"Why? Because you have no one left to die for you?" The Inquisitor asked in a smug tone.
Kanan then used the Force to pull his own lightsaber back to him, activating it and Ender's lightsaber, now dual wielding.
"No. Because I have nothing left to fear." Kanan corrected him, readying himself to continue the fight.
Somewhat taken aback, yet eager to finish the fight, the Inquisitor readied himself, placing one of his lightsaber blades by his face, Kanan doing the same with his lightsaber.
The two then charged at each other to continue the fight.
Back with Hera, Zeb and Serah, they crept down a corner and stopped by another corner, where Hera peeked her head out, seeing the reinforcement stormtroopers waking the Sovereign's troopers up.
"The other troopers are waking up." Hera whispered to Serah who was working on her computer linked gauntlet.
"That puts twice as many between us and both Rocket and Chopper." Zeb hissed.
"Good thing I'm coming up with an alternate plan, then." Serah noted.
"Alright." Hera said, glad to hear that.
"This is part one." Serah said as she pulled out a smoke grenade, which she primed before throwing it right at the troopers.
It landed by their feet and unleashed thick smoke.
As the three started to run off, Hera and Serah fired their blasters, taking down a couple of troopers, who became aware of their presence and started firing and chasing after the three through the hallways.
"Going to Bay Five is part two of the plan." Serah told Hera.
"Huh. Where your masterpiece is." The Twi'lek noted with a teasing grin.
"That has nothing to do with it." Serah replied as Hera pulled out her communicator.
"Ender, we're finding another way out." She said into the device, getting no response, which started worrying her. "Ender? Can you hear me?"
Back in the reactor core room, as Kanan and the Inquisitor were continuing their now heated fight, Ender started gaining consciousness, hearing the lightsabers striking each other.
"Ender?" He then heard Hera's voice from his communicator, which he reached for as he groaned and sat up, using his free hand to touch the new injury he got from the Inquisitor, hissing in pain when he grazed his fingers against it.
"I read you, Hera." He replied.
"Do you have Kanan? Is he okay?" Hera asked.
This made Ender look up to see his master fighting the Inquisitor, noticing that Kanan was really holding his own, even having the Inquisitor jump back and land by some control panels and block Kanan's shots from Ender's lightsaber hilt.
"He's more than okay." Ender said, glad to see that Kanan was possibly gonna defeat the Inquisitor.
Upon reaching the Inquisitor, Kanan tried slashing him, but his moves were dodged, before blocking the Inquisitor thrusting his lightsaber for his face.
He then made the Inquisitor get worried by blocking him and nearly striking him, to the point that the Inquisitor jumped into the middle of the control panels and tried slashing his head off, but Kanan ducked before jumping up and slashing one of the panels while blocking the Inquisitor. He then deactivated Ender's lightsaber and fired shots at the Inquisitor, which he blocked while backing away towards the edge.
Kanan reactivated Ender's lightsaber and ducked under a slash from the Inquisitor before facing him directly.
"You were right. I was a coward. But now I know there's something stronger than fear, far stronger." He told the Inquisitor. "The Force."
Now becoming desperate, the Inquisitor made his double ended lightsaber spin, hoping to end him.
"Let me show you how strong it is." Kanan glared before he thrust the sabers in the gaps of the Inquisitor's lightsaber handle and destroyed the saber, which knocked the Inquisitor back and fall, though he managed to grab onto the edge of the walkway.
The two lightsaber parts continued falling until they both fell into the reactor core, which caused it to explode, making the whole Star Destroyer shake. Then a chain reaction happened, where a wave of electrical energy rose up, causing more damage to the ship.
Kanan was able to walk up to the edge, looking down at the Inquisitor, who looked up at him, and placed the lightsaber blades close to his head.
"You have no idea what you've unleashed today." The Inquisitor warned him gravely, making Kanan deactivate both lightsabers. "There are some things far more frightening than death."
Then, much to Kanan's shock, the Inquisitor let go and fell to his death.
"Kanan?" He then heard Ender's voice coming from behind him, snapping Kanan out of his shock, and made him turn to see Ender, much to his surprise.
"I thought I lost you." He said with relief.
"I know how you feel. Now, let's get out of here." Ender replied.
The reactor core sent more waves of energy through the ship, making it shake. Kanan then threw Ender his lightsaber and then the pair started running to get out of the large room.
In Docking Bay Five, Hera, Zeb and Serah made it and instantly ran for the TIE fighter Serah painted and got in the cockpit, with Hera taking the pilot seat.
"Ender, we're in the TIE, where are you?" Hera asked through comms as Serah took her helmet off.
"On my way. Just go!" Ender replied.
"We are not leaving without you and Kanan." Hera replied back insistently.
"Will you just listen to the kid? Don't worry, I've got him." Kanan replied, which made everyone grin, so glad to hear his voice.
"Don't you mean, I've got you?" Ender retorted.
"You take care of Zeb and Serah. I'll get him out of here. Trust me." Kanan told Hera.
Now reassured, Hera made the TIE lift off and turned it around to fly out of the docking bay, and just in time, too, as it started exploding, and started flying away from the Sovereign, but they were being chased and fired upon by several other TIE fighters, and a Star Destroyer appeared before them.
"We had to take the TIE that has a bull's eye painted on it!" Zeb snarled in frustration.
"Spectre-3, Spectre-7, we're gonna need to get out of here fast. Send a signal so we can link up for hyperspace. Do you read?" Hera said through comms to Chopper and Rocket, but got no response. "They're not answering."
In another docking bay, both Ender and Kanan arrived, stopping as they watched two TIEs fly out and a wall on the top right had an explosion. Kanan then noticed that the Inquisitor's TIE Advanced was still docked.
"The Inquisitor's TIE!" He told Ender, pointing at it.
"Might as well use it, since he ain't." Ender shrugged.
"You know what, kid? You worry me sometimes." Kanan replied with a grin.
And so, the pair entered the TIE, with Kanan taking the pilot's seat. He made the starfighter lift off and flew it out of the docking bay, which had now been engulfed by a large explosion.
Hera flew the painted TIE around the Star Destroyer that appeared in front, still avoiding blaster fire from the TIEs that were chasing her, Zeb and Serah.
"I can't believe those buckets of bolts abandoned us." Zeb snarled in annoyance.
One of the TIE pilots managed to lock on their TIE and was about to shoot at them when Kanan zoomed in from above and shot at it, making it explode. He then did the same with two other TIEs before joining up with the others.
"We got your back." Ender told them via comms.
"Thanks. But without Rocket and Chopper's transport, we're going nowhere fast." Serah replied.
"Who's Rocket?" Kanan asked, since he didn't know of the new crewmember.
"Just an Imperial courier astromech that I decided to have as my own." Ender replied.
"Huh, nice." Kanan said, liking the sound of that.
"We got TIEs closing in." Hera then informed everyone, looking at the scanner.
"Just how many?" Serah asked concerningly.
"Too many." Hera replied.
And she was right, as too many TIE fighters to count started closing in on the two TIEs, firing a non-stop barrage of blaster fire.
"We're in a bit of a tight spot." Zeb noted with worry.
"We're aware of that." Serah snapped, knowing he was talking about the TIEs and not about the tight and cramped space of the cockpit.
"Trying to concentrate!" Hera barked.
"I just want to say that it was great knowing all of you." Ender gulped, fearing that they wouldn't make it.
But, much to everyone's relief, the cruiser that they were using showed up from hyperspace, and both Chopper and Rocket greeted everyone through comms.
"Thank goodness you and Chop showed up, bud!" Ender sighed with relief.
Suddenly, the Ghost then appeared, as well as three CR90 corvettes.
"Who are they?" Ender asked, utterly perplexed by the sudden backup.
"I don't know, but I think they're on our side." Kanan replied.
The backup all flew in towards the TIEs and fired upon all of them, wiping them out within seconds.
"Kanan, Ender, dock with the transport so that we can make the jump to hyperspace." Hera ordered.
All of the ships headed towards outer space, away from the fleet and Mustafar, with both Hera and Kanan docking with the cruiser.
Then all the ships entered hyperspace.
Within hyperspace, the cruiser attached to the Ghost via airlocks.
Both Ender and Kanan exited the TIE Advanced and entered a hallway in the cruiser from a hatch. Ender then glanced over Kanan's shoulder, making his master turn to see Hera standing there with Zeb helping Serah out of another hatch.
With a smile of utter joy on her face, Hera walked up to Kanan, who walked up to her with a smile of his own.
"I owe you all a great debt of gratitude. Even if what you did was rash and reckless." Kanan told Hera, though he wasn't serious.
"You're welcome, dear." Hera said softly before they embraced each other.
The mood was interrupted when Chopper and Rocket appeared, the former complaining, while Rocket shook his head, beeping in annoyance at Chopper's behaviour.
Though everyone was amused.
But then Ender realised something.
"Hold on, if these two were in this transport ship, then who flew the Ghost?" He asked everyone, all realising the same thing as he did.
To get answers, everyone gathered in the airlock connecting to the Ghost, which opened, and they were all surprised to see four men in military uniforms standing on either side of the corridor.
Chopper then rolled forward, with all the men turning when he neared them, putting their hands behind their backs.
The crew then stepped forward to join back up with Chopper, who stopped by the doorway to the rest of the ship, where he then activated a hologram, showing Bail Organa.
"Hello, my friend. It is good to see you again." Bail greeted Kanan.
"I don't understand. I met you once, for a few moments. I don't even know your name." Kanan said as they all stopped in front of the hologram.
"His name is Senator Bail Organa." Hera told him before stepping up to stand next to the hologram.
"And the crews of the blockade runners?" Kanan then asked.
"Members of other rebel cells." Bail revealed.
"So there are other cells." Serah said, seeing that something she thought about was true.
"Did you even know we were a rebel cell?" Ender asked Zeb in confusion.
"Um, no." Zeb admitted.
"We weren't supposed to meet. That way, if captured, we couldn't reveal the other rebels to the Empire." Hera explained the reasoning. "That was the protocol."
"The protocol has changed." A female voice replied, which had Chopper shut off the hologram and everyone to look and see someone climbing down the ladder to the dorsal turret. What was noticeable was the fact that this woman was not only a Togruta, with white and blue lekkus and orange skin with white markings, but also that she had a couple of lightsaber hilts attached to her belt.
"Fulcrum." Hera greeted her as she and her crew walked up to her as she just fully climbed down the ladder.
"Ahsoka. My name is Ahsoka Tano." The Togruta introduced herself as she turned to face everyone, also revealing her deep blue eyes.
"Why did you come here?" Kanan asked her as Chopper rolled up to her.
"Because of you and your apprentice." Ahsoka replied, kneeling down to place a hand on him. "Many in this system and beyond have heard your message. You gave them hope in their darkest times. We didn't want that hope to die."
"Now what?" Ender asked her.
"I don't know." Ahsoka replied as she stood. "One chapter has closed for you, Ender Brand. This is a new day. A new beginning."
This made the crew all grin with confidence, knowing they've now entered a new phase in their lives, one they hope to accomplish with great deeds.
Elsewhere, back on Lothal, a Sentinel-class shuttle flew to the Capital City, which had three Star Destroyers hovering over it.
It then landed in a docking bay in the Imperial complex, with Kallus walking up to it as it landed.
He stopped and stood proper and straight as a ramp opened up and Tarkin, who had managed to escape the Sovereign as it was pretty much destroyed, exited the shuttle.
"We are getting reports of unrest all over Lothal." Kallus informed Tarkin, standing aside. "There are whispers from Mustafar. Some people see the Empire as weak, vulnerable."
"Not to worry, Agent Kallus." Tarkin replied confidently. "The Emperor has sent an alternative solution."
Kallus was confused about what he meant until he heard the rather chilling sound of mechanical breathing from the shuttle, making him look to see a figure clad in all black from head to toe, along with a helmet and a cape.
Tarkin then walked on to carry out some business, leaving Kallus to watch the figure in all black following him.
This figure is named Darth Vader, and he'll hunt down the Ghost Crew without remorse.
Season One is done, now onto Season Two, my favourite in the whole show.
