Panya did tell her mother what she did to the hyenas, but not her plan on taking out Scar.

Asha cried and promised not to tell anyone, she hated lying to her mother but it was best she didn't get involved in the plan so she wouldn't be put in danger.

Time passed and Panya was learning much from Sarabi, not only on how to hunt but also on how to gather other lionesses to her side.

Sarabi taught her how to stop arguments, which happened a lot in the pride these days with how tensions were.

How to help other species trust them and to stay in the land. Well lets just say Panya did tell her about her first adventure with the weak hyenas.

Sarabi seemed to have mixed feelings with that, but in the end was proud of how she had helped her pride and to keep the circle of life alive.

As Sarabi told her, the first thing a queen must do is care for her pride.

So that's what she did, the first thing she did to help bring lioness to her side and to help her pride was to make sure the cubs always had a sitter.

The other lioness agreed with this but didnt' know how they could get away with it with Scar always wanting them to hunt.

That's when a certain plan came to Panya's mind, one that all the females felt was fair.

Scar was tired and was heading to his den to relax, but as he entered he was completely and utterly baffled "What is…"

All the cubs of the pride were running around in his cave, he growled and said "Sarafina what's the meaning of this?"

"Oh Scar, I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to tell you, but I decided that with food so scarce and the others needing to hunt more that I would take care of their cubs."

"But you are the queen, you don't need to do this."

"Oh I know but it's important for our daughter to socialize, look how well she's doing."

They looked over at Kianga and although she was the youngest cub she was fierce and already rough housing with the other cubs, even pinning them.

Scar raised a brow, he didn't much care for his daughter but if this meant she would become a formidable hunter and fighter then "Fine, just keep them away from me." he groaned as he headed to his slate bed.

Sarafina just replied with "Of course."

Later on when the mothers got their cubs and Sarfina explained what happened they all laughed.

"I guess this means it will be harder for Scar to try for another cub as well since you'll have less privacy now." Dwala chuckled.

"I know, I'm so glad, I need a break from being pregnant." Sarafina sighed.

"I'm glad it's helping you Sarafina. Are you sure it's not too much?" Panya asked worriedly.

"Of course not, I love being with all the cubs and helping my pride sisters again. It's been too long. So Panya, how are your hunting lessons going?"

Sarabi chuckled saying "Very well, she has learned so fast I may not have much left to teach her soon."

"Don't say that Sarabi, you have so much to teach me." Panya smiles.

They all smiled at this, they knew how much losing Simba had affected her, he could never be replaced, but were glad Panya seemed to help in filling up that hole in her heart.

Panya then said "Now we have to find a way to keep the hyenas from taking our hunts."

"How, as soon as they see food they rush for it." Dwala frowns.

"Exactly, I have an idea but I don't know if many of you will agree with it." Panya frowns.

"If it will help feed my cubs I don't care, what's your plan?" a mother looked up.

Panya sighed and beggan to explain.

It was the next day and everyone was out hunting.

Panya's hunting party was being followed by hyenas, 'Typical.' she frowned as they went on.

That's when panya spotted it, a lone warthog.

She took her hunters crouch and moved in, the other female followed.

It didn't take long for the lioness to catch the wild pig and as soon as they did they jumped back for the hyenas to eat and then they ran away.

As they ran Dwala said "How long do you think that will keep them busy for."

"Don't know but we have to move. Look up ahead." Panya pointed and that's when they saw it, Water Buffalo.

They were pretty much the only creatures that stayed because they were so huge the lions barely bothered them.

"Everyone in position." Panya pants as they all slow down and nod.

They once more take the hunters crouch and head in, one group headed to chase while the other would strike.

They looked around and spotted an elderly bull. Panya pointed to that one.

Sarabi nodded approvingly as they headed out, they stalked as close as they could before pouncing, the buffalo bellowed as some ran and others stood their ground.

The elder ran, and they chased till the other group cornered him.

Though he was old he was still large and strong, the lioness would need to be careful.

"Stay clear of his hooves and horns, stick to the sides, Dwala you know what to do!" Panya called, Sarabi had been helping her figure out strategies for hunting.

At this the lionesses did as told and Dwala, as the bull was distracted she launched at the snout of the creature and clamped down.

"Now get it on its side!" Panya called.

The lioness attacked from the left and soon it fell to the floor, flooded by the lions it could no longer get up.

It was over soon enough.

At that the lionesses looked down in shock, had they really done this, even when times were plentiful they would rarely be able to get such a catch.

"Let's hurry and eat what we can and hide some more, the hyenas could find us any minute."

They all nodded and got to work.

Their plan was simple, catch something small first to keep the hyenas bussy, of course they feared they would follow them after but the fools were most likely too busy fighting each other to think that.

They tore into their well deserved prize, ripping up chunks of meat to devour and even hiding some for the cubs later.

They feasted for a while when they heard the laughter of the enemies.

"Grab the legs and let's go." Panya called.

At that they grabbed two of the bulls legs and rushed off.

Now it was time for part three of their plan.

Scar glared as he said "And where is the rest of the bull?"

"Scar, you know it would be too heavy for us to carry back." Sarabi explained.

"Then where is the rest?" Scar growled.

"The hyenas are probably about done with it." Panya replied.

"What!" Scar roared.

At that Shenzi and the others appeared.

"Man, that was a good meal." Shenzi licked her lips.

"Yeah I've never had a bull before." Bonsai added.

Ed chuckled.

"Did you see those stupid lioness run off."

"Yeah two meals in one day what a….."

"Two meals…..growls."

They hyenas looked up and gulped "Oh Scar, didn't the girls bring back anything." Shenzi asks.

"How could they when you gluttens eat everything!" Scar roars, he jumps down and stalks at them.

"I let you live in the pridelands, let the lioness hunt for you if you protect my land and this is the thanks I get. You eat the best meals for yourself and leave me with nothing but the scraps, me the king!" Scar roared.

"Oh come on Scar we didn't mean…." Bonsai starts.

"Enough! From now on I eat first and then decide who gets to eat the rest and so far the lionesses have been more impressive than you gluttens." he stomps off and grabs a buffalo leg for himself.

Once gone, the hyenas glared at the lionessed who just smirked, it looked like their plan was a success.

Scar may eat first, but the hyenas would now be forced to wait, making it so that they had a chance.

That evening, after secretly giving the cubs the hidden food, the lionesses celebrated with the leftover leg of buffalo by giving it to the other huntresses.

"This is great, how did you all do this?" One asked.

"Panya planned it out." Dwala smirked.

"Oh no, Sarabi taught me and I just gave orders." Panya flushed.

"And they went perfectly well." Sarabi smiles.

"Well I have a good team." Panya smiles.

"My daughter is so smart, you'll be a wonderful lead huntress. No offense Sarabi."

"None taken, I'm not that upset about retiring as long as the pride is in good hands." Sarabi smiles.

"Come on, stop." Panya covered her face, flushed.

"Oh but you deserve it."

"And everyones actually fed tonight."

"I can't wait to start hunting with you Panya." Nala rushed up.

Not everyone was happy though, Zalika and Ada were furious.

"Look at her pretending to be shy, how disgusting."

"We'll figure out a way to take her down a peg sweetie, don't worry. Actually I think I have an idea." She looked over at the angry hyenas. A plot starting to take over.
