"I am ironman"
SNAP
the watcher peered through a window in time, another version of ironman making the move cap said he wouldn't. But this one walked a different path. Since he was young he hid behind the ironman persona living a double life, half vigilante half billionaire playboy. He kept this secret to the public until Thanos wiped Out half of the universe.
"Maybe this one would work" he thought, "this Stark deserves to keep on fighting the good fight"
Tony pov
Tony couldn't feel, he couldn't see, he couldn't Anything. "Was this the afterlife". Tony was Christian, well maybe not the most devout but he believed non the less.
"This is not the afterlife" He heard a voice tell him. Soon enough his vision and sense of touch returned too. He was in a dark purple Abis. Rising to his feet somehow on solid ground his bleeding edge Armour aiding his sore body he saw him, the watcher.
"Is this like purgatory or something?" he asked the being. his massive head looking down at him.
"You aren't technically dead" he responded, "Well in your old world you are but I saved you from true Death. And you still have a purpose to the multiverse"
Tony, confused, asked him simply, "why?"
The Watcher gestured, revealing a tapestry of alternate realities. "Look," he urged. "As you can see, the multiverse is filled with infinite outcomes. Most follow similar paths, but you… you are unique. You possess a strong sense of justice, and I believe you can do great good in a world that desperately needs a hero like you."
Flattered yet overwhelmed, Tony rubbed his forehead. "This is a lot to take in. I always thought of the multiverse as a theoretical possibility, but this is beyond comprehension."
"That's natural," the Watcher reassured him. "Your mind is still foggy from your near-death experience, but you will understand soon enough. Just focus on the fact that you have been chosen to help others after your death in another world."
"Fine, I give up. I'll stop overthinking it," Tony replied, resigning himself to the gravity of the situation.
The watcher then showed him a completely different world. "an alternative version of earth hundreds of years into the future but due to tragic events technology inferior and this version of this alternative has a key Semi unique difference" he said
"Watch" he said
Izuku pov
Izuku, a green haired boy, blue eyes, with a strong jawline and a naturally strong body, stood on the roof looking into the city. "What is the point of going on if even all might thinks it's impossible for me to be a hero?" He thought to himself
BOOM
In the distance he noticed multiple explosions going off. Perking his interest he took off running for the stairs when the words hit him again stopping him in his tracks. Tightening his fists and writing his teeth, "no, I won't stop" he said as tears ran down his face, "I will be a hero too" taking the first step forward to his goal of being a hero he took off towards the danger
Soon he was on the scene watching and taking notes like always, muttering away and slowly making his way to the front. The sludge villain that nearly killed him was fighting a team of heros while others tried to contain the flames around the villain. Explosions rattled all around the villain which izuku devised must be from the hostage trying to escape… "explosions? Wait?" Izuku thought, Kachan! Its my fault I distracted all might and Kachan Is in danger now"
Izuku without a thought began to sprint towards bakugou. "Think like a hero" he thought, taking off his backpack, "take this" he shouted. The bag opening and school supplies hitting the villain distracting him.
"Kachan!' Izuku threw his fist back to throw a punch but something inside him began to burn something deep in his genetic code. His fist lighted up in flames and hit the liquid villain and sizzled out as he got sucked in too.
"Deku you bastard what the hell are you doing!" Bakugou shouted before muzzled again. Izuku got flashbacks to just an hour ago. He was going to die this time there wasn't a single real hero here. When all hope was lost is when he saw it in the distance like a star falling, closer, and closer it got the safer he felt even as the light in him was being stuffed out.
"Providence burn!" The hero shouted as he came crashing through the center of the villain devastating it. And landing behind it. The villain was boiling and shrinking in size forcing him to release the hostages
"Hurry catch the kids!" Death arms shouted to the other heros, "gotcha kid" he said comforting the green headed boy, "you know fire quirks are usually strong like endeavour her but that wa the stupidest thing I have see long time kid" putting izuke down he checked him over. "Lets see kid" he said
Izuku couldn't help but look at Kachan who was getting the works from the other heros ranging from fist bumps to job offers but he could feel someone looking at him, Endeavour, the number two hero was looking at him… his eyes… it mde izuku feel weird inside
"Alright you look ok kid go home and be glad you aren't getting into real trouble" death arms said to him, "yes sir" izuku said still looking at endeavor confused enough to forget he manifested a quirk just now.
Some time later
Izuku stared at his hands trying to recreate the flames he did trying to save kachan. "I thought I was quirkless?" He asked himself, "Mom did say my dad had a fire quirk. Did I inherit his quirk or something like that?" Izuku thought as he walked home
"Deku!"
Izuku turned to see his friend or more like rival, well he considered him a friend at least. "Why is he not slowing down?" He thought just as Bakugou's fist slammed into him totally unprepared. Landing on his ass he looked up atte enraged blonde. "Why the hell would I need help from a pathetic weakling like you?!" He raged, "and that fire were you trying to trick me this entire time huh acting weak to pull one on me?!". Bakugou pulled back his fist again to pumble izuku.
"that's enough of that" the number two hero said gracefully landing down behind the two, "run along kid before I have to intervene"
Bakugou growled but reluctantly walked away.
"Thank you sir" izuku said dusting himself off
"What you did today was brave" he said awkwardly clearly trying channel his inner all might to the untrained eye luckily for him izuku wasn't his usual observant self he just simply fanboyed at the complement after being called dumb by the pros and more hurtful his idol crushing his dreams. "I imagine you want to be a hero kid" he stated knowing boys his age always want to be heros.
"Well yes it's very complicated though" izuku replied, "i grew up all my life quirkless but I think I just manifested my dad quirk but it wasn't much and I don't entirely know if it was real honestly and recently my idol said I could never be a hero…" izuku continued to mutter on and on until endeavour placed his hand on his shoulders and knelt down, "being a hero is not about the strength of your quirk. Sure the best heros have strong quirks… but those with weak quirks can still become heros"
Izuku needed to hear that. He needed it deep down; he needed someone to give him hope.
Rising endeavor looked to the sky, "now I have to go do my job just remeber 'be better than weak'" and took off into the sky
Tony pov
"This moment starts a butterfly affect that without you will kill millions of people" the watcher said giving gravity to the situation.
"And that's why you need someone who you believe is reliable to correct course" Tony asked?
"Good your understanding," the Watcher said, "because what I plan to do is generally not permitted, but this is a special case." He opened another window into the multiverse, revealing a vastly different Earth—a future where technology had regressed due to a series of tragic events. "This world is unique, and it faces a grave danger."
"Is it Thanos?" Tony asked, his heart racing at the thought of the impending threat.
"No, this universe harbors its own distinct challenges. I cannot tell you more, as revealing too much could alter the timeline irreparably past my calculations," the Watcher cautioned
Tony paced, deep in thought. "So, I'm going in blind, but I have to help. Do I get any guidance loke whats the catch?"
The Watcher considered. "Many colleges in this world have hero courses. Your best chance lies at UA preferably. And before you quip thinking you're too old for college, take a look at yourself."
Tony summoned a mirror from his nanobots, and to his astonishment, he saw a younger version of himself—two decades younger, in peak physical condition. "What is this?" he exclaimed.
"The stones sensed your desire to be a better hero. They couldn't grant you power, but they restored you to the peak of human potential. You have a chance to use that strength for good, and perhaps it will bring you some solace in your new life," the Watcher explained.
Feeling a renewed sense of purpose, Tony nodded. "I guess this is it. If lives are at stake, I can't just stand by. Send me in, Coach!"
The Watcher opened the portal to the new world, and Tony took a deep breath, stepping forward. "Here goes nothing," he declared, ready to embrace the unknown
