Ash woke up as early as ever, but something felt off. He wasn't in his own bed. Blinking away the last traces of sleep, he glanced down and found a familiar figure curled up against him.

Serena.

She was hugging him tightly, her face buried in his chest. A soft smile tugged at his lips as he admired her peaceful expression, her golden hair slightly messy from sleep.

Before he could fully enjoy the moment, an annoying noise broke the silence, stirring both Serena and Pikachu awake.

Using his Aura Sense, Ash scanned for the source of the disturbance and found a small, weak but friendly Fletchling tapping against the window. At the same time, he sensed Serena's Liepard approaching from the hallway.

"Mistress, your mother is—" Liepard's voice trailed off as she climbed the stairs and took in the scene before her. Her Mistress curled up in bed with Master? From her perspective, there was only one explanation.

"…I see," she said, tail twitching.

"Good morning, Liepard! And good morning to my blood-sucking vampire princess!" Ash joked, grinning at Serena.

"I'm a Tree Elf, you jerk!" Serena huffed, smacking his chest, though she was clearly amused.

Liepard, ever the loyal guardian, dipped her head. "I'll distract your mother, Mistress, while Master makes his escape."

"You really have a dirty mind, don't you? It's not what it looks like," Pikachu interjected. "They haven't mated."

At that, Serena's entire face turned red, and she immediately buried herself in Ash's shirt, muffling an embarrassed whimper.

Ash, however, looked utterly confused. "Mated? You never actually told me how that works. I mean, you explained a bit about Pidgeys and Beedrills, but that was just… weird." A faint blush dusted his cheeks.

Pikachu snorted. "Trust me, it's the same thing. Just with more cuddling and less feathers."

A heavy silence fell over the room.

Ash's eyes widened as realization dawned on him. He abruptly wrapped his wings around himself and Serena, trying to hide his burning face.

"Oh… oh."

"Make a puppet, quick," Ash muttered as the knocking grew more insistent.

"Already done," Serena squeaked just as an identical copy of herself stepped out of the closet.

Without wasting another second, a colorless dome formed around Ash, Serena, and Pikachu. In an instant, they vanished—teleported straight to Asholm—leaving the puppet behind with Liepard to deal with an angry flying-type's wrath.

As Ash teleported onto the main island, a blue-and-white blur shot toward him like a missile, slamming into him with a tackle hug that nearly knocked him over.

"Hey, Elysia. Had a good time training the new arrivals?" Ash asked with a smile, steadying himself.

"It was alright. They were fast learners, so there wasn't much to teach. I let my shadows roam the Ghost Island instead," Elysia replied, her amber eyes wide with anticipation as she searched his face—clearly hoping for praise.

Ash chuckled, ruffling her hair. "You did a great job, Elysia. But I bet you got bored since your students were geniuses, huh?"

"Yeah, I was sooo bored! But now that you're here, Dad, everything's fine!" Elysia beamed, hugging him tighter.

While Ash was caught in his father-daughter moment, Serena quietly slipped away to the base island to freshen up.

About thirty minutes later, Ash joined Serena in the hot springs, but despite the soothing heat, his face was burning. He couldn't quite put his finger on why. Maybe it was because he and Serena were both naked—though that was nothing new. Or maybe it was the fact that he was currently sitting in the lap of his daughter, who refused to leave him alone.

Elysia hummed softly as she played with Ash's long, wet hair, the strands of white, red, and black slipping through her fingers. Occasionally, she shot pointed glances at Serena, who did her best to ignore them. Ash's wings were folded away, completely invisible and untouchable, leaving only his striking hair and presence as reminders of his inhuman nature.

"Umm… so what did you need me for?" Serena finally asked, breaking the silence.

Ash, half-lost in the bliss of having his head stroked, answered without thinking.

"I really need you."

A moment of silence.

Then Serena's face turned impossibly red, while Elysia's fingers tightened in his hair. It took Ash a second to realize how his words could be taken.

"I—I mean I need you to do something with me!" he hurriedly corrected.

That only made it worse.

Serena's voice wavered. "A-Ash… what exactly are you asking?" She squirmed a little closer, eyes flickering between him and Elysia.

Ash swallowed. "I meant for a mission!"

Serena instantly slumped, torn between disappointment and relief. Meanwhile, Elysia smiled sweetly and went right back to playing with his hair.

"I was bored—really bored—and then I realized… we could be vigilantes!" Ash suddenly exclaimed.

"Vigilantes?" Serena repeated, raising an eyebrow.

"Yup! Masked vigilantes! We're already doing this kind of thing in Unova anyway," Ash said, grinning.

Serena considered it for a moment before shrugging. "Alright, sure. Let's do it. When do we start?"

Ash's smirk widened.

"AHHHH! WHAT THE FUCK?!"

Professor Oak screamed before promptly passing out.

It was mid-afternoon, and Ash had just flown straight into the lab—but he didn't look like himself. His wings were fully visible: one black, flecked with red, and the other pure white, streaked with golden feathers. His hair, usually messy and black, was now long, smooth, and primarily white, with patches of black and red. His brilliant blue eyes shone with an almost ethereal glow.

And, to top it all off, he was carrying a girl in a princess carry.

Serena, with her delicate elven features, looked like she had stepped straight out of a fantasy novel.

Perched on Ash's shoulder was his ever-present Pikachu, while two Mew—one normal, one shiny—floated on either side of him. Behind him loomed Mewtwo, his piercing gaze fixed on the unconscious professor.

"Oopsie-daisy! Guess we forgot to put on our disguises," Ash chuckled as he landed, gently setting Serena back on her feet before shifting back into his human form.

"Yeah…" Serena muttered, eyeing the renowned Pokémon professor, who was now foaming at the mouth.

They accessed their inventories and equipped their newly purchased Vigilante gear.

Ash and Serena now stood clad in matching black trench coats, exuding an aura of quiet intimidation. Ash's coat was accented with bold blue stripes, while Serena's bore elegant pink highlights. On their collars, a striking emblem stood out—a pair of small wings, one black with a crimson outline, the other white trimmed in gold—a shared insignia marking their unity.

Though their coats remained fastened, hidden within were an array of compact yet deadly weapons, carefully arranged for easy access. Beneath them, they wore sleek, form-fitting black bodysuits that covered them from toe to nose, leaving only their eyes, ears, and hair exposed. Serena's normally elven-like ears were now perfectly concealed, blending seamlessly with her new identity.

Their hands were wrapped in reinforced combat gloves, designed for both protection and precision, while their sturdy black boots were built for speed and silent movement. Even their pants followed the same design as their coats, with Ash's emblem stamped on the left thigh—a subtle yet unmistakable mark of purpose.

But the most striking detail of all was their eyes. Unobscured by their disguises, their brilliant blue irises gleamed like twin sapphires beneath the dim light. In this attire, with their matching gazes and coordinated outfits, anyone unfamiliar with them might have easily mistaken them for siblings.

And then, there was Pikachu.

The electric mouse wore a miniature black trench coat of his own, complete with Ash's emblem on the collar. But what truly completed the look was the sleek black fedora perched atop his head, tilted just enough to add an air of mystery. A round metal emblem adorned the hat, split into two halves—one red, the other yellow—each side engraved with the kanji for Inferno and Thunderstorm, a testament to the power he wielded.

Honestly, if anyone saw them now, they'd probably assume Pikachu was the gang leader, with Ash and Serena as his loyal subordinates. The thought was so ridiculous that the trio found it downright hilarious—so, naturally, they rolled with it.

When Professor Oak regained consciousness, he found himself staring into two pairs of striking blue eyes—and a Pikachu dressed like a boss. The male figure's eyes glowed with an electric blue intensity, while the female's held a softer hue.

Wait… he knew that Pikachu.

"Sorry about earlier, Professor. The Mews really like pranking," Ash said, flashing an innocent smile as he lowered his mask—a blatant lie, but one delivered with practiced ease.

At the mere mention of their names, both Mews giggled mischievously, their playful energy filling the air.

Professor Oak's eyes flickered past them, and his breath hitched. Two Mews… and a Mewtwo… all floating idly, curiously examining his lab as if it were nothing more than a playground.

For the second time that day, the professor felt himself teetering on the edge of shock. But this time, he managed to hold it together. Barely.

"Ash, what happened to you—your eyes and... Mew?" Professor Oak asked, his voice laced with confusion.

Ash smirked. "That's Aura!" His eyes flickered with power before fading. Then, with a dramatic flair, he gestured toward his companions. "And these are my allies in the quest to save the world from utter destruction!"

He was already preparing to pull a convincing story straight out of thin air.

"After returning, I realized I couldn't save the world alone," Ash declared, his voice carrying the weight of conviction. "So, I sought out Mew and Mew, trained rigorously, and unlocked my Aura. I've done everything I can to gather the strongest allies to face any challenge, but to truly make a difference, we need to travel the world—and for that, Professor, we need your help!"

His passion was almost tangible, the sheer force of his words enough to sway even the most skeptical listener.

'His charisma alone is enough to convince the professor, but this… this is just overkill,' Serena thought with a sweatdrop.

"Umm..." Oak hesitated, clearly taken aback. "I'll help you, Ash, but what happens after summer? You still have school, and I'm sure your lady friend has her own education to worry about as well. And who is she, anyway? Not to mention your mother—she'll go nuts if she finds out you two are putting yourselves in incredible danger."

At that, Serena stepped forward. "Sir, I'm Thorn. I'd prefer to keep my identity a secret, but my partner and I—"

"Requiem!" Ash helpfully interjected, earning a sharp glance from Serena.

"Requiem? Seriously?" she whispered, incredulous.

Ignoring her, Ash continued, "Anyway, we've already thought about all that. Mew will handle it."

Right on cue, both Mews nodded and, with mischievous grins, transformed into perfect replicas of Ash and Serena.

Thorn and Requiem immediately panicked, trying to get the shiny Mew to change back before Oak could process what had just happened—but the damage was already done. The old professor's sharp gaze flickered with realization as he pieced it together.

As their conversation continued, Thorn smirked beneath her mask. This had all been a calculated move—manipulating the professor, earning his trust, and making it clear they weren't planning to stay completely clean. 'Mistakes' and 'accidents' would happen. Oak knew it, and now so did they. To ensure his loyalty, they had to expose themselves.

After all the conversations were done, and Oak officially registered Thorn and Requiem as trainers under hidden identities—an option surprisingly allowed as long as the professor had full knowledge of their true identities—he provided them with a few crucial items for their journey.

Just as they were about to leave, Mewtwo turned to Oak with a sharp glare.

"Ash may play the role of a vigilante, but understand this—I do not answer to him. Justice will be carried out as I see fit."

The professor stiffened, clearly unsettled by the artificial Pokémon's declaration.

It was exactly the reaction Ash had planned for. If news ever reached Oak about Thorn and Requiem taking extreme measures, his first assumption wouldn't be that Ash was responsible—it would be Mewtwo acting on his own sense of justice. It was just a precaution, of course. Ideally, no such news would reach Oak at all. But in the off chance it did, their innocent image would remain intact.

XxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXx

Ash and Serena sat comfortably on Eilie's back, concealed by Ash's presence-erasing ability. They soared through the sky at a steady pace—normal for them, but an astonishing speed to anyone else.

Pikachu lounged in Ash's lap, letting out pleased squeaks as Serena ran her fingers through his fur. His tail flicked lazily every now and then, completely at ease.

Meanwhile, Ash was scrolling through the system shop, searching for the perfect hat to fit his new persona. The only reason he wasn't wearing one yet was simply that he hadn't found the right match.

Serena, on the other hand, was deep in thought, meticulously planning their next moves. While deceiving Professor Oak had been easy, not everything they'd told him was a lie. They never intended for the Mews to simply replace them in human form. Instead, the shiny male Mew was controlling a clone of Ash in Pallet Town to ease their workload, just as they were now heading to Kalos to set up Serena's puppets for the same purpose.

Their little talk with the professor had paid off in more ways than one. Oak had provided them with a few useful items: two upgradable National Dexes, twelve Ultra Balls, and a DexNav prototype developed by Devon Corp—still in early testing, but already featuring untraceable communication. Real spy-level tech.

On top of that, Oak had arranged for them to receive a monthly salary of 10,000 PD each for their work as field researchers. It was originally supposed to be 20,000, but Ash had somehow managed to talk the professor into cutting it in half.

Serena blushed, remembering something her mother once told her. Ash is quite good with his tongue...

Shaking the thought away, she pulled out her notebook and reviewed their priorities. Officially, they were independent trainers working part-time for Professor Oak. In reality, they had much bigger goals.

Serena's Task Priorities:

#1: Have fun!

#2: Retrieve the GS Ball from Professor Felina Ivy in the Orange Archipelago and deliver it to Professor Oak.

#3: Handle the Unova situation—take down Team Plasma and capture Kyurem.

#4: Complete missions assigned by the System.

Satisfied, Serena closed her notebook and leaned against Ash, allowing herself to relax. For now, there was no need to rush.

Ash, still distracted with his search, absently ran a hand through Serena's hair while muttering to himself. "How is it this hard to find a decent hat?"

Serena chuckled. "Maybe your true enemy isn't Team Plasma—it's fashion."

Pikachu snickered. "Honestly, at this point, just wear a bowl on your head."

Ash huffed. "At this rate, I'm just gonna grab the first one I see."

Serena smirked. "Let's just hope you don't end up with something ridiculous."

"Oh, please," Pikachu added smugly, "you're gonna pick something dumb, and you know it."

Ash shot him a flat look. "Et tu, Pikachu?"

Pikachu grinned. "I just call it like I see it."

The conversation drifted into playful teasing as they continued their journey, leaving behind nothing but the whisper of the wind in their wake.
