Chapter 1: Scream

Quinn Fabray found herself in an unimaginable nightmare while shopping in New York City. She had been visiting Kurt and Blaine Anderson when an unknown assailant suddenly approached her, shoving a bag over her head. Before she could react, she was forcibly thrown into the back of a vehicle.

Panic surged through her as she struggled to comprehend what was happening. The attack escalated horrifically as her clothes were torn away, leaving her vulnerable. In the confines of the van, she endured unspeakable horrors at the hands of two men. The brutal assault left her physically and emotionally shattered, and eventually, she succumbed to the darkness, passing out from sheer exhaustion.

When she regained consciousness, Quinn found herself in an even more terrifying situation. Her hands were bound above her head, her bare skin exposed to the cruel sting of a whip. Each strike sent shockwaves of pain through her, her body trembling from the torment.

She faded in and out of consciousness, trapped in a cycle of suffering. But deep within, she clung to the flickering hope of survival, refusing to surrender completely.

Meanwhile, back at Kurt's apartment, Quinn's boyfriend, Noah Puckerman—a dedicated Air Force officer—received a chilling call from the kidnappers. His voice was steady but filled with fury. As he yells, "You have no idea who you're messing with. If you don't let Quinn go, I will find you, and I will kill you."

A cold chuckle echoed through the receiver. "Good luck," the man taunted before disconnecting.

Kurt and Blaine urged Noah to call the police, but he remained resolute. Turning to Kurt's father, Burt Hummel, he gritted his teeth, saying, "I can't just sit here and wait, hoping she's found alive. For all I know, she's already dead." His voice cracked with frustration and desperation.

Understanding the gravity of the situation, Burt took control and called the authorities. Overcome with emotion, Noah broke down as the room buzzed with tension. He knew he couldn't just wait—he had to take action.

That night, Noah scoured the city for any lead he could find. By morning, he had discovered Quinn's location, but when he arrived, the place was empty. He returned to Kurt's, where he found the FBI and Quinn's parents waiting. Russell Fabray, Quinn's father, pulled him aside, asking, "What did you find?"

Noah hesitated before answering, his voice laced with guilt, "She was moved half an hour before I got there. All I know is she was taken to a dock somewhere."

Half an hour earlier, Quinn had heard her captors speaking in German before she was cut down and thrown back into a van. The suffocating bag over her head made it impossible to tell whether it was day or night. When they finally removed it, she found herself in a grim warehouse filled with other naked women.

A tall, blonde man grabbed her by the hair, sneering, "Your boyfriend has no idea who he's dealing with, Fraulein."

Quinn glared at him and spat in his face. He responded with a cruel laugh before dragging her into an empty room where a metal chair and a camera awaited. Another man secured her to the chair while their leader donned a mask reminiscent of the one from V for Vendetta. Using a voice-altering device, he addressed the camera., saying, "Mr. Puckerman, you have a lovely girlfriend. Too bad you'll never see her again. If you had simply given me the money I asked for, she would have been returned to you. But now, we must play this game."

A cold shiver ran down Quinn's spine as one of the men pressed a Taser to her skin, and she screamed, "Just let me go! He's never going to give you the money!"

The masked man chuckled, saying, "I know, Fraulein. And that's exactly why you'll never leave here alive."

Two days later, a package arrived at Kurt's address, addressed to Noah. Inside was a videotape. The FBI analyzed it, but that night, Noah took matters into his own hands. Armed with a machete, he rode through the city, searching for Quinn.

His investigation led him to a suspected trafficking ring near the docks. Peering through a warehouse window, he saw thirty terrified, naked women surrounded by heavily armed men. Though he couldn't see Quinn, he heard distant screams and the sharp crack of a whip. He snapped a photo before the unmistakable sound of a gun cocking reached his ears.

Noah reacted instantly, body-slamming the man behind him and slitting his throat with his army knife. He hoisted the lifeless body onto a crane, using it as a warning before retreating. He wanted to rescue Quinn, but he couldn't risk the other captives getting hurt.

When he returned, Burt and Blaine were waiting. Blaine handed him another package, and said, "Puck, this was sent to Rachel's place. The FBI is there now."

Inside, Noah found clumps of blonde hair, a photo of the man he had just killed, and a chilling note: Next time, it may be her head.

Rage soon consumed him. He stormed into Kurt's apartment, throwing furniture and screaming, "I was right there! Why didn't I save her?"

Days later, after Quinn's kidnapping made national news, the ransom demand arrived. The kidnappers wanted fifty million dollars, but they insisted Noah deliver it himself. Instead, Noah took to the airwaves, standing beside Quinn's parents and Beth Corcoran, Rachel's sister.

"Four days ago, my girlfriend, Quinn Fabray, was kidnapped. This money is her ransom," he announced. His jaw clenched before he continued, "But her kidnappers will never see a single dollar. Instead, I'm offering this as a reward to anyone who finds her." His eyes burned with fury as he stared into the camera. "I told you—you have no idea who you're messing with. Now the whole world knows I'm putting a fifty-million-dollar bounty on your heads. I'm sure someone will turn you in."

He stormed off as Burt and Russell tried to reason with him. Days later, bodies of trafficked women surfaced in the river, their throats slit.

Noah returned to the warehouse he had found earlier, only to discover it had been abandoned. Desperate for information, he searched tirelessly, but no one dared speak. Unbeknownst to him, Quinn was already thousands of miles away—on a private plane bound for Germany.
