"Mm," said Apple as she woke up, head pounding while taking in her surroundings.

"Where am I?" she asked as she looked at the white walls and golden bedding.

"Dear Grimm, she's awake!" said a maid who had entered the room, stepping back out into the hall in order to yell out to someone else.

"Who are you?" asked Apple.

"My name is Jasmine, your majesty," said the maid.

"I've been taking care of you for the last month as you have been in a coma," she said while using a wet towel to wipe Apple's forehead.

"A coma?" asked Apple.

"I'm sure her majesty will be happy to see you're awake and is rushing here as we talk so give her just a minute," said Jasmine.

"Does that mean this is my mother's castle?" asked Apple as she looked around again at the room.

"Wait, what…?" asked Jasmine before the bedroom door opened.

"Is she really awake?!" asked an older Raven as she rushed inside the room, a mixture of emotions in her expression once her eyes landed on the blonde sitting up in bed.

"Raven?" asked a surprised Apple.

"Oh thank Godmother you're back!" said Raven while hugging the blonde, tears streaking her face while doing so.

"Hang on, what are you doing here and why do you look so much older?" asked Apple at the same time she pushed Raven away from her.

"I… I live here, Apple, and I haven't aged that much since we last saw each other," said Raven.

"You're Majesty, I'm afraid that your wife may have amnesia," said Jasmine.

"Wife?!" asked Apple, who was so shocked that she rushed out of bed, but stumbled into a nearby vanity thanks to how weak her legs were from not using them while in a coma.

"This… this can't be," she said while looking in the mirror to see herself in her late forties looking back.
