"Use thy voice Sarah, fill the skies! Bring the little brats to die!" Winnie cackled loudly as she and Mary split up from their younger sister, who began to sing with her enchanting voice;

"Come little children, I'll take thee away… into a land of

Enchantment. Come little children, the times come to play here in my garden on magic…"

As David and Gwen drove the old camp campbell mobile toward the old Sanderson House, they noticed all of the children in their neighborhood serenely humming to Sarah's bewitching song and heading in the same direction they were going…

"Oh no, they're being mind controlled by Sarah like Max was!" David exclaimed, being careful not to hit any of the children as they drove by them.

"HOLY SHIT!" Gwen suddenly cried, making David nearly steer into a few kids.

"Gwen! What is it, please don't scream!" David said, trying his best not to worry too much about Max, but it was impossible.

"I figured it out. Winniefred said; "The candle's magic will soon be spent, for dawn approaches"

"Um…?" David blinked at her as he honked the horn to get some of the possessed kids to move out of the way.

"Don't you get it?! That candle Max lit back at their house that started all this shit only brought them back for this one night. And unless they can steal the life forces of the young… When the sun rises, they're dead" Gwen explained.

David's eyes widened once he understood. "So we just have to hold them off until dawn, we better hurry up then," he stated as he began to speed up once the children in front of them were out of the way.

((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((

Sarah landed in front of her and her sister's old home, hurrying through the door with a gitty expression. "The children… are coming!" she stated with a large menacing smile.

"Ah, well done sister Sarah!" Winnie said gleefully as she was reading from her spell book with Mary handing her the ingredients next to her.

Max meanwhile was tied up sitting in an old yet sturdy chair, trying to wriggle free, but to no avail.

Luna on the other hand was still trapped in the back pack. Now over a burning torch. "Let me out of here you cunts!" the little cat screeched.

"Oh do shut up," Winniefred replied dully as she was more focused on the almost completed life stealing potion.

Max continued to frown deeply at the witches. To which Winnie noticed and cackled once more.

"Soon the lives of all thy little friends shall be mine, and I shall be young and lovely again forever," she said as she turned to her book on its stand near the bubbling caldron.

Max smirked. "You old bitches don't get it do you? It doesn't matter how young or old you are or look. No one will care about you either way. You're killing kids, you're the ugliest slut whose ever lived and you fucking know it!" he exclaimed as his anger grew.

Winnie hissed as she got up close to Max's face. The boy could smell her breath which smelled of rotting meat, far worse than coffee breath.

"You… you will be the first to die…" the witch whispered low and dangerously, but Max was unfazed. He couldn't be afraid to die, he didn't want to give Winnifred and her sisters that satisfaction… and at least this way… he wouldn't burnden David and Gwen anymore…

"Ah! At last it's finished!" Winniefred cheered.

"Max, don't drink it!" Luna cried.

"Shut up cat!" Mary shot as she and Sarah tried to pry open Max's mouth as the boy sealed his lips shut as Winnie had a large wooden spoon with the green life potion in it at the ready.

Suddenly the front door burst open as David rushed inside. "HEY!" he shouted, catching the witches by surprise causing them to physically pause.

"Max turned to David in surprise. But kept his mouth sealed shut, not daring to chance it.

"Let go of my son…" David ordered in a dangerously low voice.

"You! You're a fool for coming, you have no power here!" Winniefred mocked as she continued to try and push the potion down Max's throat as her sisters kept trying to pry his mouth open.

"Maybe not but there's a power greater than your magic, and that's knowledge. And there's one thing I know that you don't!" the man boasted.

Winnie paused again, sighing heavily as she looked up at him. "And what is that, Bra?"

She questioned, making her sisters smirk.

David smiled, a laugh playing on his lips. "Daylight saving's time…"

The witches then began to laugh out loud, only for them to see a bright orange light coming from the front window.

"WINNIE!" Mary screeched in terror.

"THE LIGHT!" Sarah screamed.

"NO, THE SUN, THE SUN!" Winnie cried as she and her sisters ran to the back of the house hoping to escape the morning light.

"Get me out of here, idiot!" Max yelled, masking his deep relief to see David as the man himself cut the boy free with the pocket knife he had on his Batman belt, as Luna was finally able to scratch herself out of the old backpack with her claws. She rushed over to the two, but not before spilling the life potion from the caldron before them by tipping it with her paws from the opposite end.

"We have to go, now!" she yelled as David was finally done freeing Max. The boy wasn't even half way out of the chair when David scooped him up in his arms, holding him close like a small toddler.

Once the three had rushed out of the house Max saw that the 'Sun' was actually the headlight of the old camp mobile covered in a colorful see through piece of crafts paper.

David then quickly picked up Luna beside Max, jumping into the passenger seat as Gwen began to drive off.

"Gwen!" Max exclaimed, relieved to see the young woman as she hugged him to her side with one arm.

"We're here baby," she said as she began to maneuver the car around the approaching children.

"Are they gonna be okay?" Max asked.

"Don't worry, once the witches are dead they'll be freed from Sarah's spell, and I dumped the life stealing potion, they won't have time to make more before dawn" Luna said as the group continued to drive off.

((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((

Winnie pushed down her sisters when she realized they had been tricked yet again, and rushed over to the tipped over caldron. "Oh, that damn man-bat, my potion. Oh my beautiful potion… Wait! Look there, there's just enough left for one child… Sarah! Get a vile!" Winnie ordered the young blonde woman, as Mary opened the nearby window.

"And look Winnie, more children are arriving!" she stated gittley.

"Winnie, Winnie we'll make more potion because sister we have the book!" Sarah exclaimed, only to be slapped across the face by the very angry redheaded witch before her.

"We don't have the time!" she seethed as she filled the vile with the remaining potion from the tipped caldron. "But this…" she trailed off. "Will let us take the life of that scowling little brat, who called me-" Winniefred started only to have Mary cut her off.

"Oh no sister, don't say it, don't even say it!" she begged.

"Ugly?" Sarah questioned obliviously.

Winnie whined pitifully at her. "You know I've always wanted a bratty child and now I think I'll have one… FOR BREAKFAST!" she boasted as she and her sisters grabbed their substitute broomsticks.

((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((

Once pulled up at the old graveyard, David hurried Max, Gwen, and Luna through the gates as they heard Winniefred and her sisters flying up not too far behind them.

"Go, GO!" David yelled as he slapped the iron gates closed and turned around only to slam into Billy the zombie.

Max and Gwen turned, yelling David's name fearfully, as the man himself held out his knife ready to fight the rotting corpse off. "Run! Max, Gwen take Luna and run!" he demanded.

The three looked at him one last time, before running deeper into the graveyard.

With David distracted in that moment Billy was able to grab David and restrain him. Winnie then flew up to the top of the front gates.

"Billy! Kill him if you must, just bring me the child, that Max!" Ordered, only for the zombie to snatch away David's knife forcibly cutting the woven thread over his mouth.

"Hurry, kill him now!" Winnie demanded.

Billy took a long awaited deep breath before finally answering. "Bitch!" he stated, catching David by surprise. "You buck tooth demon from hell!" he yelled, still holding onto David.

Winniefred cried out angrily.

"I've waited centuries to say that," he said, glancing at David, making the redhead realize how wrong they initially were about this zombie.

"Wow really?" he asked in awe of all that had just happened.

"Oh Billy, you fool! I killed you once, I shall kill you again!" Winnie boasted from above.

Billy waved his hand at her dismissively as he turned to David. "We better catch up with your family," he stated, making David nod determined, as they turned to follow the rest of the group.

((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((

Once David and Billy had reached Max, Gwen, and Luna, the mother and son duo charged.

"David move!" Gwen demanded loudly as she and Max each held a large tree branch.

"NO! Wait!" David exclaimed as he instead got hit by Gwen's branch while standing between her and Billy and holding back Max. "It's fine. He's a good zombie," he grounded in pain from the branch's hit.

"Oh…" Gwen trailed off in realization.

"So why've you been on our trail all fucking night?" Max questioned suspiciously.

"I was trying to catch up, you living people are fast and those three hell bitches have caused enough trouble for this world. Especially when they were alive, they disturbed my rest and killed many innocent children. When I found out about them killing and experimenting on kids back then, I tried to stop them and tell the other salem villagers at the time, but they killed me before I could do or say anything and sewed my mouth shut, so I couldn't even tell them in death,"

"Oh but wait, I thought Winnie killed you because you cheated on her with her sister Sarah?" Luna said.

"No, that's what they made it look like, so everyone would think of me being just as bad as them, beside the killing children part. I regret a lot, but what I regret most is not being able to save any of those poor kids from back then..." Billy trailed off sulkingly as he looked at Max with a worried expression.

"I see… you poor thing. I had no idea others share my suffering," Luna replied.

"We need to hold the witches off until the sun rises. That's the only way we can truly get rid of them for good at this point," Billy stated.

"Right. The sun should start rising in about ten minutes," David said looking down at his watch.

"I brought some salt too," Gwen stated, determinedly pulling some of the salt from her catwoman belt.

"What?" Max blinked.

"That can ward off the witch's magic, good thinking," Billy clarified.

"Oh, cool…" Max trailed off.

Suddenly from a distance the group heard the crackling of the three witches.

"Here! I have an idea," Billy said.

((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((

It wasn't long before they were by Billy's dug up grave, with determined faces. "You'll be safe here once we get some salt around it," the zombie stated.

"Okay," Max replied nervously as Gwen began to pour a circle of salt around the hollow grave and Luna looked out for the three witches.

David grabbed a nearby tree branch ready for action as he swung it around a few times.

"Okay there you go lad," Billy said as he lifted Max up and gently placed him in the grave hole.

"Thanks-" Max started only to be cut off abruptly by Luna.

"HERE THEY COME!" she shouted. "Bill, guard Max. David, Gwen spread out!" she demanded.

The three did as told. Davdi went to the left, Gwen to the right, while Billy stood in front of Max in his grave.

Mary went for Max, Sarah went after Gwen, and Winniefred after David.

"For the last time, prepare to meet thy doom Man-bat!" Winnie hiss flying above the sacred ground in front of the tall man who was swinging his tree branch at her harshly.

"Ha, you little pest I've had enough of you" she cackled as she swiftly grabbed the branch, snatching it out of David's hand and throwing it behind her.

David then flopped onto the ground as Winnie flew up to him trying to attack.

Gwen meanwhile, had thrown salt at a charging Sarah, making her retreat on her mop broomstick.

"MOVE!" Winnie demanded, pushing Mary back, nearly knocking her off her vacuum cleaner broomstick as the elder sister herself struck a tree down with her light fingers knocking it down, nearly crushing Max and Billy.

Max cried out in fear as Billy scowled at the two witches.

"Go to hell!" He snapped.

"Oh we've been there, thank you we found it quite lovely!" Mary laughed.

Winnie let out an annoyed huff as she then made a war cry, charging at Billy, kicking his head off.

"No, no ,no, NO!" Max exclaimed.

David and Gwen ran over to each other, only to turn around and find the circle of salt empty.

"Billy, I think you dropped this," Max said, helping the zombie retrieve his head.

"Ha, Ha, foolish child!" Winnie cackled as she then swiftly scooped Max onto her broom.

"MAX!" Luna cried out from a nearby branch.

"NO!" David screamed.

"Alright you little pest," Winnie stated pulling out the opened vial of life stealing potion.

Max quickly tried to cover his mouth only for Winnifred to pull away his hand.

Luna then saw a flashback of her own son's death, feeling the same dread from back then. "No…" she whispered scapering higher up the tree she was perched on. "HANG ON MAX!" she yelled as she leaped onto Winnie's shoulder and knocked out the vial from her hand.

"OH! Curse you, you little bitch!" the witch snapped, throwing the little cat to the ground, knocking her out as David caught the vial just before it could shatter to the ground.

"You!" Winnifred yelled. "Give me that vail!"

"PUT HIM DOWN OR I'LL SMASH IT!" David seethed.

Winnie then held her lightning finger close to Max's neck, Making the boy freeze on the spot.

"Smash it and he dies!"

"MAX, DAVID!" Gwen shouted, only to have Billy hold her back.

"Don't move, she'll definitely kill the lad if we do anything reckless" the zombie told her, making the woman herself stop and look desperately from David to Max.

David looked wide eyed at Max, he could see fear and tears in the boy's eyes. The boy he loved and thought of as his own… and instantly he gulped down the potion himself.

"DAVID, NO!" Max pleaded in alarm, but it was too late.

Winniefred gasped in shock and confusion.

"NOW YOU HAVE NO FUCKING CHOICE BITCH, TAKE ME AND LET MY SON GO!" the man shouted harshly.

"Why…?" the witch could only breathe.

David turned to Max and glanced at Gwen before looking back up at Winniefred.

"I love my family and I'll sacrifice anything to save them, including myself," he stated seriously.

Winnie lowered her broom carefully and pushed Max away. "What a fool to give up thy life…" she glanced at Max and then back to David. "...for thy family…" She then grabbed David by the shirt and pulled him up into the air with her.

"DAD!" Max shouted as he was then helped up by Gwen and Billy.

"Baby!" Gwen cried trying not to cry as she hugged the boy.

"Are you alright lad?" Billy asked.

"Who cares?! We have to help David!" Max shouted as he and the two saw a white light outline David's body; his life force…

David then pushed Winniefred back by clenching onto her throat, choking her and preventing her from getting too close.

From the lack of air the witch lost her balance nearly falling off of her broom.

"AH! SACRED GROUND, SACRED GROUND! SISTERS!" she screeched, flailing her arms in circles to try and maintain balance.

"Winnie, I'm coming!" Mary cried out as she tried to fly towards failing to notice the long vacuum power cord that fell and trailed behind her.

"Grab it!' Gwen ordered as she, Max, and Billy grasped the power cord and pulled.

"Sarah!" Mary called as she was unable to fly to Winnie, who was still trying to grab David.

Sarah reached Mary on her mop and pulled on her hand. That's when Gwen saw it… the first rays of dawn.

"Let go! Gwen told the boys.

"What?" they asked in unison.

"Just trust me!" the woman urged.

Max and Billy looked at each other before realising the cord with Gwen.

The force of the release as well as Sarah's pulling, launched her and Mary's substitute brooms up above the trees of the grave yard, making them scream. This distracted Winniefred enough for David to knock her off of her broom, sending them both plummeting to the sacred ground. Winnie, now seething with rage spat out dirt and grass, before grabbing a still glowing David, held him above the ground as she began to suck his life force out… only for the man's life force to not diminish at all. Winniefred froze in place as she realized that the sacred ground was draining her power and turning her to stone.

"NOOOOOOOO!" she cried as she froze solid completely as the sun had fully risen.

"WINNIE… Goodbye!" Sarah cried as she burst into purple ash in the sunlight.

"Oh no, um buh-bye…" Mary trailed off as she too burst into ash, only hers was red.

With only a second to spare Winniefred's stone statue burst into green ash, letting David drop to the sacred ground as his life force settled back into his body.

Luna awakened nearby, only to feel her strength draining in a different way than she had ever experienced. "Oh… to be at peace at long last…" she trailed off and with a soft non-catlike smile closed her eyes for the last time breathing out a soft meow.

"David!" Max yelled as he tackled the man in a crushing hug. David's eyes filled with tears as he held the small boy in his arms with all his might.

"Are you okay kiddo?" He asked, trying to keep his voice even.

"You fucking idiot! Don't ever scare me like that again!" Max yelled in tears.

"That doesn't answer my question," David chuckled through his tears.

Max paused before smiling. "Yeah, I'm okay," he nodded.

"David!" Gwen shouted, tackling both boys in a hug. "Hey if you pull that kind of shit again, I'll kill you myself" Gwen laughed through her tears.

"Got it," David replied.

"You saved my life, idiot," Max said in a softer voice.

David turned to him. "You're my son of course I did," He said, hugging his family again. The three then got up and walked Billy back to his grave and helped him into it.

"See ya Billy, sleep well," Max said. With a genuinely kind voice.

"Yeah, you're the man, or zombie," Gwen stated.

"Hey Billy," David called out.

Billy looked up at him. "Thank you so much, for everything," he told the zombie, who gave him a smile.

"Just pray that I'll find peace this time around, is all I ask from you in return" he said to the three.

"We'll do that," Gwen promised, making Max and David nod.

Billy then let out a long yawn and laid back into his grave for the last time…

"Hey, where'd Luna go?" Max suddenly questioned.

"I don't know. Luna? Luna!" David called as he and Gwen began to help the boy look for the little cat.

"Luna!" Max yelled when he found their friend's lifeless body nearby.

"She's gone, she's gone Max," Gwen said as gently as possible.

"But she can't fucking die remember?!" the boy shouted, refusing to believe her words. "Wake up Luna, come on! Like last time!" he begged, his eyes filling with tears. As he fell over Luna's body. David and Gwen then began to ruffle his hair and rub his back in a comforting way.

"Max darling, come now. Please don't be sad for me…" a familiar voice called softly from behind the trio.

Max shot up and turned towards the voice to see Luna in her human form in her white night gown and long blonde hair. She was a faded being, a ghost now, but she was still there.

"Luna, is that you?" Max whimpered.

The ghost before him nodded. "Yes, when Winifred's power faded on the sacred ground my soul was freed from the immortal curse she placed upon me" she clarified as she took Max hand in her own ghostly one. "So please, don't be sad. I'm free. And David, thanks for knocking Winniefred off of her broom back there," she chuckled, making David smile at her as he held Gwen close to him.

"Mama, where are you?!" a child's voice suddenly called out from the back gate of the graveyard. It was another ghost, that of a small boy about Max's age, who looked similar to Luna. The little ghost smiled brightly as he caught sight of his mother.

Luna looked as if she were going to cry as she turned back to the trio before her. "It's Johnathan!" she said as she leaned over to whisper in Max's ear. "I shall always be with you, little one…" she said as she then placed a soft kiss on the boy's tear stained cheeks. Max nodded at her words as she then walked off to hug her child. Afterward, Luna waved at the group far behind her, to which the three smiled and waved back.

"Mama, Papa's waiting for us, he said it would be best if I came to get you, come… let us go home," Jonathan said as he grasped Luna's hand. Luna with tears in her eyes, turned away and smiled at her son.

"Yes, let us go home my dear," she said.

"By the way, what took thee so long, mama?" Jonathan asked.

Luna laughed as she and Johnathan's ghostly forms began to fade away. "Well, it's quite a story my love…" she trailed off asd she and Johnathan faded away completely hand in hand…

Max wiped his tears as David picked him up, balancing the boy on his hip.

"Max, we have a surprise for you," he stated.

"I think I'm done with surprises for a while… a long while… " the boy breathed with a laugh.

"Well this surprise is a good one," Gwen promised as she pulled out some papers from her catwoman belt.

Max's eyes widened. "Are you fucking serious?" he questioned, trying to contain his joy.

"Yes, welcome home for good Max" David said as he and Gwen hugged the boy in a group hug dropping the adoption papers.
