(Okay, we're back with a new one! I've got a bunch set already, I just need to add a few more paragraphs in between and polish them up a little. I hope u guys like it. If u couldn't tell, Larry is my FAVORITE Koopaling, and if he had a headcanon voice it would be Sekai Murashige who played Ryan Akagi from Infinity Train. Anyways, enjoy the fluff!)

Chapter 2:

It was at least two weeks after Oswald took in Larry. The Lucky Rabbit couldn't wrap his head around all the new stuff that's been falling into the Wasteland as of late. They all resembled the things Larry had gotten.

"I honestly don't know what to do with half of this stuff." Oswald said, holding up a device with sponges at its end. Larry looked at the device."Those are headphones!" Larry said, trying to reach for them. Oswald left them in the toddler's hands and he saw that they were placed in the small charger port.

"See? You plug 'em in to play your music." Larry put on one of his favorite songs. "Luddy gave me some, he said I play my music too loud." Larry said.

"You're gonna go deaf if you play it so loud, bud." Oswald was wondering what the boy was listening to.

(TRA-LA-LA!

LA-LALA-LA!

TRA-LA-LA!

LA-LALA-LA!)

Oswald jumped up in absolute shock what was being played! This music was…intense.

"W-Whoa! What instrument was THAT?!" Oswald said. "It's a guitar!" Larry said.

"That sounded NOTHING like a guitar." Oswald said, grabbing his ears and covering them. "But it is." Larry said, confused. Oswald squinted his eyes as he listened and that's when it hit him.

"Oh, right…This tech is ahead of my time." Oswald said, "Hm?" Larry grabbed the phone from him and started looking at pictures on something called "Google".

"Look, dis a guitar, Mr. Ozzie!" Larry had a search history, he could see a bunch of spelling errors, so he assumed Larry's dad and siblings often looked up things FOR him. He looked at this modern guitar and it looked odd.

"I'mma get one someday! I'mma play it!" Larry said. Oswald just chuckled, and rolled his eyes. "That's gonna be a lotta work, bud." Oswald said to him.

"Hmm…I do have a ukulele we can use to start out with." Oswald said, going off to look for it. Larry's eyes sparkled. He LOVED ukulele music!

(Later)

Larry had walked over into Mr. Ozzie's big room, "Mr. Ozzie?" Larry called his name. "Talk to me, kiddo." Oswald said, not looking up from what he was working on. "Can you play a game with me?" Larry asked.

"I'm a bit busy right now, bud. Maybe in a minute." Oswald said, "Whatcha working on, Mr. Ozzie?" Larry asked, fixing the hold he had on his toy. Oswald was working on a remote, "Is that tv remote?" Larry asked. "No, it's a different type." Oswald said, "Come back later, and I'll—"

"What's it do?" Larry asked, trying to touch. "Wh-Whoa whoa whoa! Hold it, don't press the button!" Oswald said, moving the remote. "Why?" Larry asked, "Because somethin' real DANGEROUS would happen if you did." Oswald explained.

"My Daddy breathes fire." Larry said, knowing a bit of dangerous. "Even then, I don't want you getting hurt." Oswald said. "Now you go ahead and head out. I'll be done in a minute."

"Please show me what it does, Mr. Ozzie! Please?!" Larry was begging to see what the remote could do. Oswald put his head on the desk in annoyance. "If I show you, will you leave THEN?" Oswald asked. "Uh-huh! Uh-huh!" Larry said.

Oswald sighed in annoyance, and stood up from his chair. "You're gonna need to stand back for it, okay?" Oswald waited until there was enough space away from the remote's range.

Oswald pressed the big red button and volts of electricity began shooting out of the antenna.

"Whoa! Lightning!" Larry said, eyes lighting up! "Yeah, it's still very dangerous! Which is why you need to be careful, kiddo." Oswald said, turning off the remote. "All right, I showed you. I'm almost done, so let me finish until then." Oswald folded his arms.

Larry only pouted, "Okay…" he whined and walked away. Oswald just sighed again, "Just like MY kids…" he vented.

(Later)

Larry began coloring a picture of himself with a guitar that shoots both fire and lightning! He heard footsteps coming his way. "Mr. Ozzie!" Larry said, "Yeah, sorry I'm late, bud." Oswald said. "What'd you wanna do for a game?" He asked.

Larry just picked up his pad and looked for an app. "Air-Hockey!" Larry said, pulling up an air hockey game on the pad.

Oswald just rubbed his eyes and sat down to play the game with Larry. "So, all this tech stuff is pretty normal to ya back home, huh?" Oswald asked.

"Uh-huh! Uh-huh! Home has a lot of trains, planes, but the stuff for music is REALLY cool! Stuff that makes it loud, remix and a bunch of other stuff that I wanna know about!" Larry said. "Like this one!" Larry played one of his favorite songs.

"重ねてきた日々が (Kasanete kita hibiga)

崩れ落ちたのはなぜだ (Kuzureochita nowa nazeda)

止まらない時間は (Tomaranai jikan wa)

いつだって僕らを壊していく (Itsudatte bokura wo kowashiteiku)"

Oswald listened to the loud music. Larry seemed to be semi-fluent in Japanese. It may do him some good to learn a bit. The Lucky Rabbit looked at how happy the turtle boy was.

Oswald chuckled, "You REALLY wanna be a musician, huh?" He asked, trying to block Larry's puck shot.

"Mr. Ozzie, you're silly! I wanna be a rockstar!" Larry said, excitedly! "I'm gonna be the coolest rockstar in the world! I'mma play a really cool guitar and sing!" Oswald just smiled and laughed. "Sounds like a lotta hard work, kiddo." He said, trying to strike. "Yeah, that's what Morty says." Larry explained.

"I got one!" He said, managing to hit a goal.

Oswald had just smiled, "Well…I hope you can make it. I know I couldn't…" Oswald said. "What did you wanna be when you were a kid, Mr. Ozzie?" Larry asked.

"Oh, uh…Well, I wanted to be a famous star. I used to be a real star, but then…that mouse…" Oswald began to feel anger rise up in him.

"Mouse?" Larry asked, "Ugh…Mickey Mouse." Oswald said. "Oh! I wuv Mickey Mouse!" Larry said.

Oswald sighed, "I know you do, kiddo. A lot of people do." He felt the jealousy endure in where his Heart should be. "Don't be upset, Mr. Ozzie! I bet you can still be a star!" Larry said, happily.

"That's wishful thinking, kiddo." Oswald said, smirking and booping his nose. "Hey!" Larry said, annoyed but still giggling.

"Hahaha…Still, I…appreciate it, Larr." Oswald said. "I could only pray, I guess."

(A little something before the end)

Larry had ear bugs in his ears as he listen to some rock music. Oswald was curious, "Whatcha listenin' to now, bud?" He asked the young turtle.

Larry unplugged it and the electric guitar blasted into the room.

"I just…wanna…blow * up

Let's…blow * up

Don't care, let's riot…

I BRING A BOMB TO A FIST FIGHT!

IN CHAOS I REIGN!

TEAR THIS PLACE APART!

REBEL HEART!"

A woman sang, "Wh-Whoa—hey hey, why is that in your playlist?!" Oswald asked, now angry that Larry was listening to things with bad language. "Roy bought me this song! This is rock, Mr. Ozzie!"

"Sorry, kiddo, no bad language on my watch." Oswald said, putting his hand out for the playlist. "No! Mr. Ozzie!" Larry whined and wanted to keep his phone. "When you're a little older, you can listen to that, but I don't want you repeating that language." Oswald said, "Not to mention, this one's sounds more violent." He muttered.

"I'll find you a rock song that's not cussing." Oswald tried scrolling through this phone to find a safer song for him. The last thing he needed was this kid trying to start cussing.

(Okay, we're done! I'm sorry, Rebel Heart has been stuck in my head for a while and it's REALLY intense but the fun kind. I feel like with how I wrote Larry's lacking but still knowledge about tech in the modern era, that makes a good interaction with Oswald who's not used to modern technology. Let alone to new genres of music and arts.

Anyways, I DO NOT own the rights to any of the songs played here. Content belongs to Arcane, Djerv, League of Legends, The Dickies & ASCA. I cannot wait to start writing Larry's bonds with Bowser and his older siblings. Anyways, stay strong and awesome!)

Isaiah 9:2 KJV:

The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light; they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath that light shined.

(I'm not an expert on Isaiah, but I know his book was speaking of The New Testament. I believe this passage refers to Jesus. He rose in our lives and gave us a new day! It's important for us to realize a new dawn or a new day. It may feel like you walk in darkness, but Jesus is coming to light a new dawn full of light and color. Anyways, God Bless!)
