"THERES SNIPERS ON THE ROOF!" Revy shouted at the top of her lungs to warn everyone.

Balalaika and her men heeded Revy's warning and looked at the buildings that towered them. Balalaika couldn't believe that their current assailants were the pale soldiers that Revy described to her earlier today. She personally had doubts about them as she thought Revy was exaggerating about them using bows and arrows but nope! Here they are, aiming their bows and arrows right at her entourage. Luckily for her and men, years in Afghanistan taught them that whenever there was gunfire from above the best thing to do is to run and take cover.

Hotel Moscow along with Alfred's bodyguards ran back to their parked vehicles as quickly as possible to avoid getting hit by a volley of arrows, abandoning the sword in its place. The pale archers fired their volley of arrows, but they all failed to hit most of their targets since arrows are much slower than bullets. However, they did manage to hit the assistant who moved the wheelchair for the now dead former SS officer. He was struck in the knee which made him fall to the ground, which gave the pale archers the chance to pick him off.

Once Balalaika and her forces got back to their limos, they then got on the ground to take cover behind their vehicles. One of the men opened the passenger door of the vehicle behind him and took out a radio. The man barked an order in Russian into the radio in an urgent tone.

(In Russian) "WE NEED BACKUP AT THE INTERSECTION NOW! WE ARE UNDER ATTACK BY UNKNOWN ASSAILANTS! I REPEAT, WE ARE UNDER ATTACK BY UNKNOWN ASSAILANTS!"

Balalaika and her forces took whatever weapon that was immediately available in their vehicles, mainly Makarov pistols and AKMs, and fired back at their attackers. Due to the height of the buildings and the angle they're firing at, Hotel Moscow had a hard hitting their targets but fortunately they managed to get a few lucky hits and took out some of their attackers. Alfred's bodyguards also had struggle with shooting at the pale archers due to similar reasons and the fact that they were only armed with pistols.

The Lagoon Crew took note of Hotel Moscow's reaction and made the right decision to take cover behind their pickup truck. It was a good thing for them that the truck was big enough to block the arrows. Unfortunately for them, they didn't have the proper weapons on board to handle this situation.

"God fucking damn it." Revy cursed angrily. "I wished I had the grenade launcher with me so I could blow those pale fucks to kingdom come!"

"Hey you didn't know that we were going to be attacked during a deal." Dutch says in an attempt to reassure Revy.

Dutch takes out his revolver and loads it in case if an opportunity to shoot a pale archer presents itself.

"Besides, we only need to hold out until reinforcements from Hotel Moscow arrive. There's no way these pale clowns can take on Hotel Moscow."

"Wait a minute guys." Rock cuts in. "Is it me or do I hear marching in the distance?"

"I hear it too guys." Benny announces to the group. "Its coming from over there!"

Benny pointed in the direction where Alfred's group came from. The marching noise got louder as the source of it came closer to where the deal was supposed to happen. Eventually the marching noises caught the attention of Alfred's bodyguards. They all looked back and saw who was making the marching noises.

It was pale soldiers exactly like the ones on the rooftops firing arrows at them. There were about a dozen of them, and they all look ready to kill. But this time instead of bow and arrows in their hands, it was halberds.

"What the fuck?!" one of the bodyguards cursed as he was dismayed at what he saw.

The pale soldiers on the ground got into formation and held on to their spears tightly.

"Are they going to do what I think they're going to do?" asked Benny as he observed the situation that was unfolding.

The pale soldiers charged from their positions, spear in hand ready to stab their enemies.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

They all screamed their war cry as they charged forward towards their enemies.

One of the bodyguards stood up from his position and began firing at the charging soldiers. The other two followed suit.

"DIE YOU PALE BASTARDS!" one of the bodyguards shouted. They managed to take out some of the attacking chargers, but unfortunately for them they wouldn't get the chance to take all of them out as soon after the archers from above noticed that bodyguards were now exposed.

The pale archers fired a volley of arrows at one of the now exposed bodyguards. The bodyguard didn't escape in time as he was too preoccupied with the pale soldiers on the ground. By the time he noticed the arrows they had already stuck him and took him out for good.

The other two bodyguards noticed their fallen colleague and stopped firing for a second to curse at the situation.

"Shit!"

That split second of stopping was all the time that the remaining charging soldiers needed to make it to where the bodyguards were. With a mad dash to the bodyguard's vehicles, the remaining soldiers prepared their spears. By the time the other two bodyguards noticed, it was too late as they were immediately impaled and gored to death by the remaining pale soldiers.

STAB! STAB!

After killing the bodyguards, the pale soldiers ran to the case that contained the sword, lifting it from its place and taking it with them.

Balalaika noticed this and she isn't happy about it.

"They're stealing the case!" Balalaika announced. "Stop them!"

Hotel Moscow stood up from their positions and tried to fire at the pale soldiers stealing the case. However, a volley of arrows from above forced them to take cover again before they could shoot at the robbers. Arrows pierced their expensive vehicles.

This gave the pale soldiers on the ground enough time to think of an escape plan. They saw the freezer truck that Alfred originally brought to transport the case and they decided they were going to escape in that. They get to the freezer truck and open the backdoor. They loaded the case onto the truck and several of the pale soldiers went into the back. The two remaining ones got into the front seats of the truck and proceeded to drive away from the scene.

Balalaika was furious at the situation, but she kept her composure to maintain her professional look in front of her men. She looked back to face the Lagoon Crew and imposed an order onto one of its members.

"Revy, you better get that case back. Thousands of dollars are on the line, and I will not tolerate incompetence. Alfred is dead now, but we can probably find another buyer if we still have it. If you don't get that case back, I'll-"

Balalaika didn't need to say more as Revy immediately understood what Balalaika wanted.

"On it Big Sis!" Revy immediately responded as she got off the ground and ran past Balalaika.

Rock knew exactly what Revy's plan was and decided to follow her.

"Hey wait for me!"

One of the pale archers could see that Revy and Rock were heading towards one of the abandoned Volkswagens and immediately knew that they would try to chase the freezer truck. The pale archer aimed his bow at Revy, ready to fire his arrow at her. But before he could release the arrow…

SPLAT!

… something shot the back of his head, instantly killing him.

The rest of the archer's group noticed this, and they looked back to see what killed their comrade. A volley of gunfire follows soon after and wipes out the rest of the group. Their corpses fell from the rooftop due to the force of the bullets pushing them. They then landed on the ground making a bloody mess. Dutch saw the whole thing from his position and knew what this meant.

"Damn the cavalry finally arrived."

As the reinforcements rain hell on the pale archers on the rooftops, Dutch took out his pager from his right pocket as he plans on asking someone for help.

"I hope he doesn't mind me asking for a favor."

With the rest of the pale archers now preoccupied with Hotel Moscow's full might, Revy and Rock made it to one of the Volkswagens. Luckily the doors were unlocked which allowed Revy and Rock to get inside. Rock took the driver's seat and Revy took the passenger's seat.

"Here's the plan. You drive, I shoot. Is that clear?"

"Yes!" Rock firmly replied as he activated the car engine. He turned the car around to face the direction that the freezer truck had left in. He then proceeded to put the pedal to the metal and launched the car at the fastest speed it could possibly do. The car took off and is now in pursuit.

Meanwhile, somewhere in an unknown location far from the ongoing battle.

A pale soldier who is not fighting with his brethren is walking towards a certain blonde man in a fancy white suit to tell him something.

"We captured the catalyst, and it is on its way here."

"Good."

Rock and Revy were on the road, searching for the freezer truck that had their 400,000-dollar paycheck. They didn't exactly know where the truck was since it had a head start but they hoped they would find it eventually.

Revy heard the walkie-talkie stationed on her hip go off. It was a message from Dutch. Revy knew that this had to be important if Dutch is calling her now. She picked up the walkie-talkie to hear what Dutch had to say.

"Hey Revy, have you found the truck yet?"

"No not yet." Revy responded. "How's things on your end?"

"Crazy. Even though they're dropping like flies now, those damn pale soldiers won't stop coming! We might run out of bullets if this barrage keeps up."

"How many of these fucking pale ass soldiers are there!?" Revy shouted out loud. "Its like an entire army decided to invade Roanapur for shits and giggles!"

Revy's shouting pierced Rock's ear drums and he didn't enjoy it as it nearly made him lose focus on his one task.

"Can you be more quiet?!" Rock complained. "I can't focus on driving if you blow out my ears!"

"Well sorry!" Revy lashed back in a dismissive tone.

"Quit your arguing you two." Dutch commanded through the walkie-talkie as he heard their brief squabble. "Anyway, I have important information regarding the location of that truck."

"That's great." Revy replied. "We desperately need leads on where this damn truck is."

"You can thank Mr. Chang for this information." Dutch continued. "Unfortunately, it's going to cost us a pretty penny."

"Wait when did Mr. Chang get involved!?" Rock asked in a confused tone.

Before Dutch could answer the question, he heard a female scream coming behind him. Dutch turns his head around to see what it is.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

It was a female pale soldier wielding a halberd charging at him. Unfortunately for her, Dutch was not an idiot who could easily be caught off guard. Dutch aimed his revolver at the charging female soldier and shot her in the head.

BAM!

After killing the female soldier and shooting some pale soldiers, Dutch went back to the discussion with Rock and Revy regarding the location of the freezer truck.

"Anyway as I was saying, I had to call Mr. Chang on a payphone since all of Hotel Moscow is currently occupied with this pale soldier bullshit." Dutch explained. "I asked him if any of his men has seen a freezer truck speeding around."

"Wait you call Mr. Chang on a payphone during a war zone AND while Balalaika is right around?!" Revy asked in a bewildered tone. "Talk about having some massive balls."

"As if she had the time to pay attention to me while there are hordes of people trying to kill her with halberds." Dutch retorted.

After snapping back at Revy, Dutch took his attention off the radio to notice two pale soldiers charging at him. Once again Dutch took out his trusty revolver and….

BAM! BAM!

… took out his enemies.

Dutch resumed his attention back on the radio to explain the location of freezer truck.

"According to the information Mr. Chang provided, the freezer truck seems like it is trying to get to the coastline considering the fact it keeps going south whenever possible. However, to what specific location on the coastline they're trying to get to is something you have to figure out."

After hearing Dutch's explanation, Revy thought of possible locations where the freezer truck might head to. After a minute or two, Revy shared her thoughts.

"One thing for sure, it's definitely not the harbor since we wrecked their yacht earlier today which means they couldn't sail out of Roanapur. And I doubt they are using any of the coastal vacation buildings as their hideout."

"Okay we can cross those out." Dutch replied. "But can you think where they might actually be instead of places where they wouldn't be?"

Revy did her best to think about the whereabouts of the freezer truck, but she kept drawing blanks. Lucky for her Rock had a suggestion.

"What about the fishery? They close before sunset and are probably empty now. They have a decently sized warehouse which I imagine can be used for planning out an operation. With no one there during the night, it would be very easy to convert it into a base whenever the owners are not around."

Dutch hesitated for a second before giving an answer.

"That sounds plausible." Dutch commented through the radio. "Have any objections Revy?"

"Sounds good enough for me!" Revy answered. "Now get us there!"

Following Revy's demands, Rock turned right at the nearest intersection then kept going straight from there to head south towards the coast. With the fastest speed that Rock was able to drive, it only took them a few minutes to get to the edge of the coastline.

As they drove along the edge of the sea, they finally saw the target of their pursuit; the freezer truck containing the sword. Not only that, further back they could see the location that pale soldiers driving the truck was trying to get to.

The warehouse near the fishery.

"Damn Rock, you were right on." Revy complemented Rock. "Remind me to buy you a cigarette pack."

"Well gee, thanks." Rock responded positively.

Revy took out one of her berettas which she proceeded to load. After loading the gun, she then decided to turn on the radio. Upon turning on the radio, a drum loop started playing in an odd time signature and Revy immediately knew what song was playing.

"Fuck yeah!" said a hyped-up Revy. "My favorite song is playing right now!"

"Really Revy?" asked a concerned Rock. "At this time!?"

"This helps me get into the mood." Revy answered.

Revy didn't bother saying anything else as she had her eyes focused on the truck. She pulls down the car window next to her and sticks out her upper body through it so she can aim her gun at the truck. She then proceeded to yell something out loud.

"THIS FOR STEALING MY BONUS PAY AND FOR FUCKING UP ONE OF MY CUTLASSES!"

After she said that, the lyrics of the song on the radio began to play.

STEP RIGHT UP

She began to fire on the truck, trying to take out the tires specifically in order to stop the vehicle.

MARCH, PUSH

However, due to the fact she is in a moving car and also facing wind resistance, she had a hard time aiming at the tires as she couldn't keep her body still and the bullets kept hitting the back at the truck instead.

CRAWL RIGHT UP ON YOUR KNEES

The pale soldier driving the truck noticed that Revy was trying to shoot at them through the side-view mirror. He knew that his pursuers weren't planning on giving up so easily.

PLEASE, GREED, FEED (no time to hesitate)

The pale driver temporarily took his right hand off the steering wheel for a second to knock the wall behind him. The pale soldiers inside the storage container heard the knock and they knew what it meant.

I WANT A LITTLE BIT, I WANT A PIECE OF IT

The back doors of the freezer truck burst open, revealing one a female pale soldier sticking her hand out. Rock was visibly confused at this, but Revy knew what was going to happen next.

I THINK HE'S LOSING IT, I WANT TO WATCH IT COME DOWN

"What is that girl do- MOVE OUT OF THE WAY DUMBASS! SHE CLEARLY GOING TO SHOOT US!"

DON'T LIKE THE LOOK OF IT, DON'T LIKE THE TASTE OF IT

Unfortunately for Revy, Rock didn't comprehend her warning in time as the pale soldier's hand began to glow. Revy didn't like the direction that things were heading. Revy sees the glowing hand of the pale soldier and only had one reaction.

"Fuck."

DON'T LIKE THE SMELL OF IT, I WANT TO WATCH IT COME DOWN

The soldier's hand shot a blast of energy at one of the front tires, destroying it in the process which caused the car to swerve out of control. Rock did his best to control the car, but it was of no use as the car kept spinning. The car continued spiraling out of control until it crashed into a streetlamp which finally made it stop. The airbags are triggered which cushion Rock and Revy from the impact.

Despite the crash, the radio somehow survived albeit just barely and managed to play the final line of the chorus before it died out. Even though it was a pre-existing song, the line like that some higher being was mocking the duo for their efforts.

Now doesn't that make you feel better?

Revy stormed out of the car relatively unscathed and looked at the truck they were pursuing earlier. She was furious as the pale soldiers were now getting away with her bonus pay and it's because Rock didn't listen to her in time.

"Damn it Rock you fucked everything up!" she complained. "I told you to move out of the way!"

Rock got out of the car and walked towards Revy to respond to her.

"I didn't know that she would shoot something out of her goddamn hand! Seriously what the hell is that?"

Revy turned around to face Rock and paused for a moment as she was hesitant to explain to Rock what he just saw not too long ago. She really didn't want to tell Rock that she encountered this power back on the yacht as she thought Rock would be mad at her for not telling him. However, she gritted her teeth and decided she owed Rock an explanation anyway.

"There was some things I left out when we got back from the mission earlier today. The captain of that yacht had something similar and it's the reason why I only have one cutlass with me. The captain broke it with whatever the hell he did."

"Revy….." said a dismayed Rock. "You should have told me this earlier."

"If I said something about it, you wouldn't have believed me and thought I was crazy." Revy admitted. "Besides I didn't think that I would have to deal with these pale soldiers again and thought things would slide over."

"I guess that's understandable, but you still should have told me. We could have kept this to ourselves."

"Yeah right. We are long past that point." Revy responded. "Anyway, we need to focus on getting that sword back."

"And how do you propose we do that when our ride is destroyed?" asked Rock.

Revy turned around to face the road and observed her surroundings, looking for an answer to Rock's question. She kept looking until her eyes spotted a motorcycle. Revy then walked towards the motorcycle as she planned on using it.

"Wait, Revy what are you planning?" asked a concerned Rock. "You think you can go in there guns blazing and mow everyone down by yourself?"

"I am not that stupid." Revy responded confidently as she got closer to the motorcycle. "We already know that they're going to be at the fishery. I plan on taking an alternate path so I can sneak in there. That warehouse must have a backdoor somewhere."

"Wouldn't they still outnumber you?" Rock continued asking.

"Judging by what Dutch told me earlier, it seems like whoever leads these pales soldiers sent most of their forces to deal with Hotel Moscow. I doubt there's many guards left to deal with there as I doubt their army is infinite."

Rock said nothing in response as he knew Revy's answer sounded like a valid point. However, he still had one more question in mind.

"What do I do then?"

Revy made it to the motorcycle and got on it. She starts up the engine and puts her foot on the pedal. She then turns her head facing Rock to answer his question.

"Go back to Hotel Moscow and tell them about the fishery. By the time they'll arrive I would have taken out their leader and they can take out the stragglers."

Revy drove off and left Rock behind. After a few meters Revy took a right turn and began to take the alternative path she spoke of. Rock was worried if Revy would be able to make it out of the warehouse alive. However, despite those doubts, Rock still faith in her that she would make it. With that in mind, he proceeded to carry out Revy's request and ran back as fast as he could to tell Hotel Moscow the message.

The Fishery

The freezer truck made it to the fishery where the warehouse was located nearby. Waiting at the warehouse were what seemed to be three local Roanapur thugs that were probably bought off with money and a familiar blonde man from before.

"Finally, it's here!" the blonde man shouts. "Now get it out now before they get here!"

Immediately as he said that the pale soldiers exited out of the truck and took out the case containing the sword. They then approached the blonde man for further instructions.

"Are they still following you?" the blonde asks in a desperate tone.

"No, they are not." the female pale soldier answered sternly. "I have made sure to render their means of transport useless and they seem to have given up."

"Good. Now bring it inside and put it on the summoning circle!"

"Are you sure that's a good idea Sagara?" one of the male pale soldiers asked. "Darnic would not approve of this."

"He'll have to understand that this was a necessary move." the blonde man answered now known as Sagara. "The Saber needs to be summoned now before the Russians could get to us. They have probably eviscerated most of the homunculi forces I have sent by now. It's not going to be long before they find us here!"

"Understood."

The pale soldiers proceeded to carry the case into the warehouse to carry out Sagara's orders. After they entered the warehouse, one of the local thugs came up to Sagara to ask him a question.

"When do we get paid? This isn't free you know."

"You'll get your money after you guard this damn door!" Sagara angrily replies. Sagara then proceeded to enter the warehouse to carry out his plan.

However, little did Sagara know, things will not go his way and this night will change everything.

Chapter 3 uploaded! I guess its time to acknowledge some of the reviews. The first three seem to be bots which I will ignore. Thank you Ren Gardener and Cross177 for your reviews, I appreciate them. As for you RealTalker, I can assure you that Emiya Shirou is not in this fanfic. I too find it kinda annoying that a lot of Fate crossover fics is just Shirou inserted into other settings. Honestly, I'm suprised nobody has tried a Grail War in Roanapur story considering the five other Black Lagoon X Fate fanfics. Those are mainly just certain characters in Roanapur (Shirou, Kiritsugu, and Rin). Anyway stay tuned to next week for the next chapter.
