Sokka greeted Zuko happily when the fire bender came by after helping his uncle at the tea house. It was already so easy to kiss the other teen as a girl and be gushy then he thinks he could've handled as a boy, but he'd rather not think any deeper than that tonight. Moving along from those thoughts does Sokka leave room for Zuko to fully make his way into his room and towards the table seating plates of food and drinks.
"How was work without me today?" Sokka inquired.
"Busy, annoyingly noisy but went by fast which was the good part of today." The fire-bending teen replies.
"Well better than rude customers I bet." He murmured as he placed few of the maps he was drawing away.
"Mm, always." Zuko commented but was really distracted by the maps he saw. "What are those maps of?"
Sokka startled, kind of embarrassed that he's been caught writing. He hasn't really wanted to be showing anyone these yet. "Well remember when you said I could probably write books and publish... I kind of started to like that idea so this," he gestures to the pages, "are my mappings and notes of my adventures so it'll be kind of like a map tour guide I suppose. Think I'll write a separate book of my actual adventures too though."
Once Sokka got going and having Zuko's full of awe attention did he go crazy with ideas, discussions, profit and marketing. It was such an amazing feeling to have and share with the other teen giving him such positive and encouraging feedback, it was a new kind of scary yet brave thing to be starting and to actually go somewhere with it.
The two teens spent the night finishing up at least four book outlines and will start tomorrow morning with creating the books themselves, the two feeding off of one another's energy was both exciting yet exhausting. The boys fell asleep with papers and books scattered around them in bed.
