Chapter 4: Emotion River

Korra groaned, "Ty Yin, why are you here and why did you need to throw knives at Zan?"

As Zan quickly threw the four knives he caught back at Ty Yin, who smiled and caught all four knives with ease, catching two knives in each hand with her fingers before quickly putting the knives away. "I am here on behalf of the Fire Nation to make sure the preparations for the Fire Lord and the royal family are in order. As I arrived I saw some bubbles saying that they had found July and I want to pay back against that woman for poisoning me and running away like a coward."

"Wait, she knows July?" asked Ikki.

"What bubbles?" asked Meelo.

Jinora stayed silent as she stared down at Ty Yin. "This girl…"

Lin then stepped forward, "I'm Chief Bei Fong, I don't know who you are or how you know Korra, but you can't throw knives in my precinct."

Ty Yin gave Lin a respectful bow, "My apologies, once I find July we shall move to a different location to have our duel."

"You're not dueling anyone, not in my city." said Lin as she raised a hand. Ty Yin looked and noticed that she was surrounded by several metal benders, "Now cooperate or I will be forced to arrest you. Now hand over your weapons."

Ty Yin had a bored look on her face before she felt something move on her back. She looked back and saw a metalbending officer was struggling. His struggle was causing Ty Yin to smile, "That isn't going to work."

Jinora then noticed something, "Wait, something is there." This got Ty Yin's attention as she looked at Jinora.

Lin did not like this, "Take her blades." she ordered.

As the officers stepped forward Jinora saw something move around Ty Yin. "Wait, don't!" she shouted.

Suddenly an invisible force swiped around Ty Yin, hitting each officer slightly on the arm and making each of them take a single step back and suddenly a slice mark appeared at their feet in front of all of them. They all looked up and saw that Ty Yin had pulled out one of her blades just slightly enough to see part of the blade with her fingers. "As I said, that isn't going to work." Ty Yin then pushed the blade back into its sheath all the way. "These blades leave me when I am a corpse and not a moment sooner."

"What in the world was that?" asked Tenzin.

"That ability," Jinora turned to Zan, "That's the same ability Zan used."

Zan began to scratch the back of his head, "Yeah, it is."

"We…uh…we kind of taught her how to do that." admitted Korra. "Remember that 'help' we talked about during dinner, that would be her."

"I guess I should give a proper introduction," said Ty Yin with a bow. "I am Ty Yin, Swordswoman of the Fire Nation. I briefly traveled with the Avatar after she left the Fire Nation for the Northern Water Tribe and the Northern Spirit portal."

Asami began to connect the dots better than the others, "So you guys picked her up from the Fire Nation and then traveled to the north, before you went on your spirit quest, ran into July, she and Kina got poisoned. You then went into the spirit world, unlocked new spirit powers and now she wants to kill you two."

"Close," admitted Ty Yin, "I do not wish to kill Korra or Zan, but they are on my list of people I wish to fight after I get done with that cowardly July. She should have kept fighting us instead of using a smokescreen and poison to escape."

"I see," said Asami before turning to Korra, "So she's a handful."

"That's one way of putting it." said Korra.

Tenzin cleared his throat, "Look young lady, I can see that you are one of my cousin's students, he would want one of his own acting like this. You may have power but you shouldn't be using it like this, looking for fights with criminals, you should leave such things to the adults."

Ty Yin's face began to turn red, "I AM AN ADULT, I'M THE SAME AGE AS KORRA!"

"WHAT!" yelled Tenzin who's eyes almost popped out, looking at the short girl. "But you are…"

"JUST BECAUSE I'M SHORT DOESN'T MAKE ME ANY LESS OF A WARRIOR!" she shouted but as she continued to speak the more her voice began to squeak causing Korra, Zan and Kina to cover their mouths and try not to laugh. "DON'T LAUGH!"

"Sorry…sorry," said Korra as she attempted to stop laughing. "Anyway, would you like to see July?" Korra raised a hand to stop the protests and gave Lin a face that asked her to trust her.

"Of course, I am always ready to face my next opponent." Said Ty Yin with a smile eager to face her next opponent.

~o~

Ty Yin looked down at her opponent in depression. "Ah Ty Yin, I was wondering where you were," said July with a smile, as she was still in handcuffs next to Mako's desk, "You weren't with the Avatar during our second run in. I was curious about what happened to you."

Ty Yin pointed to the handcuffs, "You got caught?"

"No, I surrendered myself to the authorities."

"Unsurrender yourself."

"You know that's not how that works." said July calmly.

"But we haven't finished our duel yet."

"One I don't duel, Two I don't want to fight, I've realized that if I had refused to engage with Kina earlier, I most likely wouldn't be handcuffed right now and I know for a fact, that even though you love a good fight, you won't attack first, especially not someone who is handcuffed like I am." July extended her hands showing off the handcuffs.

The entire situation was making Ty Yin more frustrated by the moment, "Oh come, don't you want to test your strength, to honor your ancestors or something."

This got a good laugh out of July, "Honor my ancestors, my ancestors are all the worst of the worst. The only thing that they cared about was making sure that the job got done and that you lived another day. Strength means nothing to us. Your wish for a fight with me means very little, especially now that I no longer wish to live the same life I once did before."

Ty Yin raised an eyebrow in confusion, "What is that supposed to mean?"

"She's no longer wishing to fight because she is in love with a police officer," said Zan.

"Aww, that's sweet." said Ty Yin with sparkles in her eyes, before they quickly disappeared, "But are you sure you don't want a spare or anything?"

July raised an eyebrow, "Why do you wish to fight me so much?"

"Because you are one of the few people I have ever fought and lost to," said Ty Yin as she raised a hand, "I've lost to my dad, Zan, Korra and you. That's five people. I've faced bandits, pirates, rogue waterbenders and have come out on top. You are one of only five people who have bested me."

July raised an eyebrow, "Wait, you only-"

"ENOUGH!" yelled Lin, "This is a police station, I've only been entertaining this for so long because you are a friend of Korra." As she pointed at Ty Yin. "If you want to fight someone, find a gym or some sort of sanctioned sparing area in the city, not here. If you try to force some sort of fight, weird power or not, you will be subjected to the full force of the law, am I clear?"

Ty Yin gave a respectful bow, "I apologize ma'am, but have no fear, I am no threat to anyone, I won't attack anyone without due cause. Well there is one person but she's not here."

Lin then jabbed a thumb at Zan, "You threw knives at Zan."

"I was just saying hello," said Ty Yin with a smile, "I wasn't throwing those nearly fast enough for him not to catch them."

"That is not good enough, don't do that again."

"Okay, okay, no more tossing knives at friends." said Ty Yin as she turned and began to walk to the door, "I'll go and meet up with the other Fire Nation officials to make sure everything is set for the Fire Lord's arrival. We'll catch up later."

"Wait," said Jinora stopping Ty Yin from leaving, "I have a question about-"

"Aren't you an airbender?" Spoke up Ikki, interrupting her sister, causing Jinora to glare at her sister.

Ty Yin's eyes then narrowed down at Ikki, "Are you saying you've seen me before?"

"I think so," said Ikki as she looked at her, "Yeah, didn't you visit Air Temple Island a few years ago?"

Ty Yin's demeanor changed and the room felt warmer, "So she was here."

"Ty Yin!" spoke up Korra, getting her attention, "I know she hurt you but are you sure you want to do this? I've had to get in the middle of several sibling fights over the years, Lin and Suyin, my dad and my uncle, heck even Mako and Bolin's fight over the last dumpling." The last one causes Mako to face palm and Asami to hold in a laugh. "Some of those fights were a lot more serious than others and didn't end as well as the fight between Mako and Bolin. Are you sure you can't let go of the pain and talk to her?"

Ty Yin gave Korra a small hollow smile, "If you don't want to watch me fight my sister, then I suggest you stay out of it." Before turning and walking away.

"Would you like me to talk to her?" asked Kina.

Korra shook her head, "No, in the end she just might end up fighting you. She won't listen unless it's from her father or her sister and if the latter is anything like her it's going to end in a fight."

"Well sometimes a fight is the best way to heal," Admitted Lin, "Well at least when it comes to my family."

Zan gave a nod of understanding, "Yeah, that makes too much sense." This caused a few raised eyebrows at Zan. Zan noticed the looks and looked left and right nervously.

Korra cleared her throat, "Come on let's head back to Air Temple Island, because of someone we never did get to finish breakfast."

"Sorry, I wanted to capture the assassin," said Kina before looking over at July who was still in the chair, "Speaking of which, what's going to happen to her?"

"I'll handle that," said Lin before pointing at Kina, "One of you just needs to make sure she understands not to destroy public property."

"Don't worry," said Tonraq, "I'll make sure she understands not to rush off like that again."

Kina began to crumble under her breath, "Come on, let's head back." said Korra.

"You guys can go on ahead," said Mako, "I'm going to stick around here with July and the chief."

"Alright, we'll catch you later then." said Korra before looking at July for a quick moment, "Nice job, Mako."

~o~

Soon the entire group and the two sky bison were back at Air Temple Island. "So what have you learned?" asked Tonraq as they began to walk away from the sky bison stable.

Kina groaned, "No stealing sky bison, even though again, I wasn't stealing the sky bison, just borrowing one so I can deal with someone who tried to kill us."

"Kina, sometimes it's best to wait and listen," said Zan, "Even though everything turned out great in the end, rushing into things can make things worse."

"Not to mention running off on your own can make you a big target," said Korra, "Trust me, I learned the hard way that going solo may not be the best thing to do." Korra then noticed as an airbender rushed past them, "Whoa, hey where's the fire?"

The airbender stopped and turned but was still running in place. "Oh, Avatar Korra, I'm so sorry, but Lady Pema asked me to quickly run to the bakers to get some sweets to celebrate." Before running and flying away in the wingsuit.

Korra turned to the group, "Celebrate?"

Zan pointed at Korra then himself, "Us?"

Korra shrugged before turning to Tenzin, "What's going on?"

Tenzin shrugged, "I don't know-"

"TENZIN!" The group all turned to see Pema speed walking towards them.

"Oh Pema, is something wrong?"

Pema grabbed Tenzin by the robes and pulled him down and began to speak directly into his face, "Tenzin, did you know about this, please tell me you knew about this."

"Knew about what?" asked Tenzin bewildered.

"PEMA!" they heard a voice yell and turned to see Kya walking towards them. "Calm down."

"KYA!" Yelled Tenzin in surprise as he released himself from his wife's hold. "What are you doing here?"

"You didn't tell him!?" yelled Pema, "Why didn't you tell him, did you tell anybody?"

"No, I didn't tell anyone." said Kya before turning to her brother, "Sorry we just arrived a few minutes ago."

"Why not, your mother is going to have Kitten Ducklings."

"Kitten Ducklings?" asked Korra, getting Kya's attention, "Kya, what is going on?"

Kya smiled at the sight, "Korra, how are you doing?" As Kya pulled Korra into a hug, "It's so good to see you back on your feet again."

"Thank you, but," Korra looked to see Pema massaging her temples, "What is going on?"

"Oh Pema's just over reacting is all."

Pema's eyes shot wide open, "Overreacting!? I'm reacting correctly to the situation here." Pema then noticed her kids' looks of concern, "Please promise me none of you will do this to me when you grow up."

"Do what?" asked Jinora in confusion, speaking on behalf of her siblings.

"What is going on here!?" asked Tenzin in frustration, causing a little bit of air to blow around him.

"Is everything alright?" They all turned to see a woman with gray streaks in her hair, dark hair that was tied in the back in a bun, she wore simply traveling robes similar to the air acolytes with a light blue necklace around her neck.

"Everything is fine Gita." said Kya with a smile, before walking up to the woman, taking her hand, "Everyone, I would like to introduce Gita, my wife."

Kya's words echoed around them, soon everyone understood the sounds and their meaning, Tenzin shook his head before staring at his sister wide eyed to the point they looked twice their normal size, before dropping his jaw. His kids quickly began to mimic his face to a certain degree.

Zan leaned towards Korra, "Uh what's going on?"

"Kya, Aang's daughter, she got married, And didn't tell us!" said Korra with a little bit of anger/pain in her voice. After she said it she paused, visibly confused by her own words.

"WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN?!" Yelled Tenzin.

"Two months ago," said Kya simply. "It was just quicker than usual."

Jinora then suddenly snapped her fingers, "Oh I get it, our invitations never came because they were stolen."
"That's what I thought." said Pema in an upset tone.

Kya sighed, "Look, there were no invitations or anything like that, it was small and sudden."

Tenzin was still stunned as he looked at his sister, "Kya."

Suddenly a sweet melody began to play around them, "A flute?" said Kina as she tried to look for the source.

"Where is it coming from?" asked Korra.

"It sounds like it's coming from everywhere." said Zan before closing his eyes and focusing on the flute sound. "Over there."

They all turned to see a young woman wearing an airbender uniform sitting on a nearby rock, playing a wooden flute. She had bright brown hair that was tied in the back but it spiked out a bit in places. She stopped playing and opened her eyes showing their brownish color and smiled, "Sorry, I thought a small tune would calm things down and to show the only real trick I know."

"Trick?" Korra then realized what the woman was doing. "That was soundbending wasn't it."

"Yep, it's the most I know about airbending." said the woman.
Kya then went behind the young woman and placed her hands on her shoulders, "Everyone meet my new stepdaughter, Gita's daughter, Avaja."

Avaja gave everyone a small wave, "Hi."

"Hi," yelled Ikki as she ran up to Avaja and gave the woman a hug, surprising her, "I'm Ikki, welcome to the family," She then turned to Gita, "You too aunt Gita, welcome, how was the wedding, how'd you guys meet?"

"Thank you, Ikki," said Gita as she gave her a smile. Soon everyone happily greeted the two and welcomed them to the family. "Thank you all, the wedding was nice, but I do believe we should catch them up, they deserve that much."

Kya sighed, "Yeah they do. Okay so it happened shortly after Korra left the South Pole with mom. I had gotten word of some airbenders in the south wanting to head to the Southern Air Temple and when I got there, it was a mess, the new airbenders were uncoordinated and causing so many problems. So I decided to stick around for a bit until you came around to sort things out but before that it needed to be resupplied with proper medical supplies so I headed over to Qinchao city. I know it was a bit farther but I knew it had a clinic that had everything the Southern Air Temple would need and while I was there I ran into Gita who had a million questions for me about AirBending and the Air Nation, because Avaja started airbending. The next thing I knew I was spending all the time with Gita, so after I got done at the Air temple I made up my mind and returned to Qinchao for Gita."

Everyone except for four smiled, as Kya told her tale, Tenzin face was still a mixed bag of emotions, Korra's face was neutral but Zan could tell she was feeling some sort of pain and Meelo who was getting annoyed. "Seriously another one," said Meelo, clearly annoyed. "First Korra comes back with a new boy, then Mako's assassin girl, now this. I thought when Korra came back we would have action around here but nooooo, now everyone is getting married, what's next Jinora is going to marry Kai." This caused Jinora to turn red.

"NO!" Yelled Tenzin quickly, "Not yet….I'm ….I'm not ready for that."

"None of us are." said Pema.

"How about we all discuss this more inside," Offered Zan before looking over and giving Korra a nod, who returned it.

Tenzin then stepped forward to his sister, "Could I please talk to you for a moment, in private."

Kya gave a smile as she expected this, "Of course."

~o~

Tenzin quickly led Kya to the meditation pavilion, "Okay Tenzin, let it out, I know you want to say something so say it."

Tenzin was hesitate for a moment but took a deep breath, "Are you happy?"

"Of course I am, I finally met someone who loves me, who understands me. I wouldn't have married her if I didn't want to."

"I WOULD HAVE GONE!" bursted out Tenzin suddenly, "Sorry….I….I would have gone to the wedding. I would have shown up, I would have gone and grabbed Bumi and mom." he said with pain in his heart, "Why didn't you tell us?"

Kya could see that she hurt her brother and took a heavy breath, "Tenzin, I'm sorry, I….it's complicated. It's nothing you or mom or anyone else who did it. It's all me."

"Are you sure it wasn't those marriage proposals?"

Tenzin and Kya turned to see Korra walking into the meditation pavilion. "Korra?" said Tenzin.

Kya looked and saw the sad expression on Korra's face and knew it wasn't Korra, "...Dad?"

Korra took a deep breath and put her hands together and with a deep breath the wind swirled around her, revealing an old air nomad, avatar Aang. "Hello kids."

Tenzin was stunned. "Dad."

"Dad," Kya looked her father in the eye, "What…what are you doing?"

"My kids needed me and like any good father I came to help," said Aang, "Well atleast the best way I can in my current state."

His words began to bring tears to his children's eyes, "Dad, I am so so sorry." began Kya.

"No Kya, it's all my fault, I should have done more for you, protected you from those monsters."

"No dad, that wasn't your fault. None of it was ever your fault."

"Monsters? Marriage proposals?" asked Tenzin confused.

Aang and Kya turned to Tenzin, "You were too young to understand," said Aang. "That amount of solicitors your siblings had."

"Solicitors?"

"They were relentless," said Kya, "They kept coming, all of them asking my hand in marriage, some of them that was the first thing they said the moment we met. I was able to ignore them or get rid of most of them myself, though quite a few were stubborn ones that wouldn't leave me alone even when I told them I wasn't interested in men they still wouldn't give up. The worst ones however were the ones that told me I had a responsibility to do so, because I had a chance to give birth to an airbender."

"What!" said Tenzin in a bit of horror, "They tried to coerce you like that! I never knew."

"You were young Tenzin and by the time you were old enough, I already decided I didn't want a family. I didn't want to be tied down and for a long time I was okay with that." said Kya.

"That was until the Air Nation returned." stated Aang.

"Yes. When it was confirmed that other people began to start airbending, I was so relieved. After Tenzin and Korra left to get other airbenders, I was lying in bed crying as a weight of guilt suddenly lifted off of me. I was so happy and sad as I realized I was all alone. It took a while of thinking, talking with mom and meditating at the Southern Air Temple to sort out all of my feelings."

"Kya…I am so sorry," said Tenzin, "I had no idea. I mean Bumi mentioned before that if he wanted he could have had a large family with several kids, but it wouldn't have been for the right reasons and he always said he was raised better than that. I had no idea you went through something like that."

"It's okay, I never told anyone, it's not your fault."

"If it's anyone's fault-" began Aang before his daughter put her hand up in front of him.

"Don't even think for a second about saying it was your fault, dad." said Kya immediately stopping her father, "You were put into an impossible situation, you lost your entire country, all of your people. Any other person would have told me and Bumi to have kids the second we reached adulthood, but you let us live the lives we wanted, you supported me being who I wanted to be, you supported Bumi becoming a general in the military, you gave Tenzin every bit of knowledge about the Air Nation you could. You may not have been the perfect father for us, but I know for a fact that you did the best you possibly could in the situation we were in. Being the avatar, the last survivor of a lost nation and dealing with a world that was still healing. I could never blame you dad, the only person I could blame has been dead for over a hundred years."

Aang had to wipe the tears that were forming in his eyes, "Thank you Kya." As he pulled his daughter into a hug.

"Thank you dad, I doubt I would have been able to get all of this off my chest so easily if you hadn't shown up," said Kya as she took a step back, "I'll admit I should have sent a letter to mom at least, but in my defense I am quite old and don't really want to waste the time I have left."

"That may work for mom, but Bumi might need a little more," said Tenzin, earning a slight laugh from Kya and his father, "I know we're about to wrap things up here but before you go dad."

"Of course son," said Aang with a smile, "Oh and there's one thing I would like to ask."

~o~

Meelo tried to move quietly to the door only to have a hand grabbing the back of his wing suit. "Stop." said Zan as he pulled Meelo back in, "You seem to run off a lot, you know that."

"Hey," growled Meelo, "Don't grab me like that, unless you want another butt whooping."

"He beat you last time, Meelo." stated Jinora.

"Oh come on, are you telling me you guys aren't a little curious about what they're talking about."

"It's clearly a private conversation."

"I'm terribly sorry about this," said Gita, "I warned Kya this might happen."

"Don't worry it's perfectly fine." said Ikki, "Now can you tell me more about your soundbending?"

Avaja perked up, "Oh well, that was something I was just messing around with my flute, I've played quite a few instruments before, so after I got my airbending I just started playing around with it. I'm quite surprised with how surprised everyone else is by it. Has no one tried messing with sound before with airbending?"

"I don't think so," said Pema as she thought about it while holding a sleeping Rohan, "Well I know some airbenders have used their bending to play instruments but I don't think I've heard of any airbender messing with sound the way you did."

"Really?" asked Avaja in surprise. "I thought Kya was just being nice to me, have I really discovered some sort of new bending technique?"

"I'm no bender myself," stated Asami, "But Airbending has been gone for quite sometime so you might have rediscovered something that was lost for a while."

Avaja looked down at her flute, "Huh, I don't even know how to glide or do the airscooter thing yet."

"Just because you haven't mastered something, doesn't mean you can't discover something new about it." Everyone turned to the voice and audibly gasped.

"No way." said Kina, speaking up first.

"What's going on?" asked Meelo as he looked confused, "And who's this old guy?"

Aang laughed, "It's a pleasure to finally meet you Meelo, I'm your grandfather Aang."

"What but grandpa is dead!"

"He speaks the truth, Meelo," said Tenzin as he and Kya walked into the room behind Aang. "Everyone, this is our father Aang."

"Hello everyone, it is a true pleasure to see you all in person." said Aang with a bright smile.

"GRANDPA!" yelled Ikki as she jumped across the room into Aang's arms.

"How?" asked Jinora who was still trying to believe what she was seeing.

"Uh, excuse me." said Tonraq a bit nervously, "Ah is a pleasure to meet you sir but is my daughter okay?"

Aang gave a slight chuckle, "Korra is fine, she allowed me to be a bit selfish and talk to my kids for a moment. I don't have much time left, but enough to at least meet my grandkids."

Jinora and Meelo then both rushed in and gave Aang a group hug. Ikki then turned her head back to the others, "What are you doing?"

Avaja blinked, "Huh?"

Jinora gave her a smile, "You're our cousin, that means his grandchild."

"What! But-"

"Get over here already," said Meelo.

Avaja then felt a hand on her back pushing her forward, she turned and saw Asami pushing her. Avaja then turned and saw her new cousins making space for her in the group. Avaja, unsure, moved close to the group before they pulled her in the hug.

"Welcome to the family," said Aang as he embraced his grandkids.

Avaja smiled back, "Thanks."

Aang looked up at Gita, "That goes for you as well."

"Thank You sir." said Gita.

"I know my daughter can be a bit of a handful so please take care of her."

"Hey." said Kya.

Gita laughed, "I will sir."

Pema then stepped forward holding out Rohan as he was slowly waking up. "Come on Rohan, you don't want to miss this."

The other grandkids took a step back as Pema handed the three year old over to Aang, "Hello there little Rohan, it's so good to see you." Rohan's eyes blinked as he tried to shed his sleepiness away. Rohan's face then began to scrunch a little and Aang raised the kid as he knew what was about to happen. Rohan then sneezed, causing a powerful gust of air over Aang's head. "Whoa, nice airblast little guy."

"YES!" roared Tenzin, raising his hands in the air.

"Rohan, airbended." yelled Ikki, clapping her hands.

"Alright little brother." said Meelo.

"Well mom, looks like he really is an airbender." said Jinora.

Pema sighed in defeat, "Well I should have seen this one coming, hopefully he's a little calmer."

Kya just laughed. "Don't worry Pema, we can still help you out."

Aang smiled, "Congratulations little one." Before handing Rohan back to his mother. "I really wish I could stay but my time has come, I love you all and please tell Bumi I'm so proud of him and tell Katara I miss her everyday."

"We will dad," said Kya, "Promise."

"I love all of you, take care." Aang then took a deep breath as the wind swirled around him before quickly disappearing, leaving Korra where he once stood. "Whoa,"Korra's eyes opened before she stumbled back a bit before being caught by Zan, "Thanks, Zan. That took a lot more out of me than I thought it would."

"Korra," said Kya, getting her attention, "Thank you."

"Don't mention it." said Korra, "Now can we please get some food, I didn't even finish breakfast."

~o~

"Sir, the preparations are complete," said the Soldier.

"Good and Kuvira will be there?" asked the Metal-clad man.

"Yes sir, she is due to arrive tomorrow," said the Soldier, "Though by now sir she must be aware of our movements within her ranks by now."

"That's her own fault," said Metal-clad man, "She would have discovered us far quicker if she hadn't been in such a rush. Now it is far too late for her to do anything."

"What should we do sir?'

"Send the reserves to Ba Sing Se," said the Metal-clad Man, "The second I kill the Avatar, Kuvira and that idiot of Prince, I want that city under my control."

The Soldier saluted, "Yes Sir." Before leaving.

"Soon Avatar, soon vengeance will be mine, along with every part of the Earth Kingdom, including your Republic City which will be your grave."

Next time: Global Gathering | You want to read this now, just head over to my page. ~P-A-T-R-E-O-N~ Lorenzo the story teller. There you can read all chapters a head of time and my exclusive stories.

A/N: This chapter I wanted to add a little moment with Aang and to be honest I was expecting something like this as the reason why Kya never had a long term relationship would have been the pressure from other to continue the Air Nation. I honestly thought it would be something like that. I also thought it would be interesting idea to explore for both Kya and Bumi. I also wanted Aang to have a chance to apologize to his kids. Also a little reminder these OCs that have popped up aren't going to be sticking around forever, they will come and go like background characters, they are here to add to the main characters backstories, don't expect every character I give a name to to be important, they may have a moment to shine but they won't be taking over the story they are here for set up.
