Hibari was fast.
But Dino had always been faster when it came to him.
The moment Hibari tried to escape, Dino had him—grabbing his wrist, yanking him back with enough force to send them both stumbling. Hibari twisted, aiming a sharp elbow to Dino's ribs, but Dino was prepared, pushing him back until his spine hit the cold concrete wall.
Hibari sucked in a sharp breath. Before he could retaliate, Dino's hand closed around his throat—not tight, not enough to hurt, but enough. Enough to make Hibari go still.
Silence crackled between them, thick with heat.
Dino exhaled slowly. "Where do you think you're going?"
Hibari glared at him, sharp and unyielding. "Let go."
Dino tilted his head, thumb grazing Hibari's pulse—steady, but just a little too quick. "Not until you tell me why you're running."
Hibari scoffed, trying to turn his head away, but Dino didn't let him.
"You're scared," Dino murmured, watching him closely. "Aren't you?"
Something flashed in Hibari's eyes—sharp, almost dangerous. "I don't fear anything."
Dino smirked. "Liar."
He leaned in, close enough that their noses almost brushed. "If that's true, then why are you shaking?"
Hibari inhaled sharply.
Dino felt it—the slight tremor beneath his fingertips. Almost imperceptible. But it was there.
And it thrilled him.
