It's Really Cold

"…It's really cold…"

Silver Sentry hummed. "Yes. It's colder than I thought. I suppose the front is getting here sooner than expected."

He expected a quick-witted remark from Turtle Titan, but he didn't get one. It was a little odd, but considering they were waiting for the appearance of a supervillain, it wasn't really an inconvenience. Still, something about it, and the cold niggled at the back of Sentry's mind, and he wasn't sure why. Before he could concentrate on it too much, though, the villain made his appearance and Sentry and Titan both jumped into action.

But something was off. Turtle Titan's moves weren't as fluid as they usually were. His reaction times were down. Was he distracted? No, Sentry was sure it was something else, he just wasn't sure what. Still, they fought on, even after a water pipe burst and drenched them. It didn't take too long before Sentry had the supervillain captured and ready to hand off to police.

And that was when he noticed Turtle Titan. Soaked to the bone, sitting on the snow-covered rooftop, and shivering violently.

"Turtle Titan?" Sentry called out. "Michelangelo?"

"…'s real col'…" he said, before slumping over. Only Sentry's speed kept the teen from hitting the rooftop.

"Titan? Titan?" No response. Sentry scooped him up and took off, what was bothering him finally popping into his mind. Michelangelo was a turtle, a reptile, and one that was now too cold. He could only hope that his oversight hadn't hurt his young friend.
