Chapter 7:

Captain Caveman and the girls confront the Great Mysto. "Can I help…" Captain Caveman pins him to the wall. "My word! Is this some sort of caveman?"

"We'll ask the questions here," says Brenda.

"What did you do with Taffy," asks Dee Dee.

"What are you talking about," asks Mysto.

"She came here disguised as Nancy and you did something with her," says Brenda.

"What," asks Mysto, "that wasn't really Nancy?"

"Yeah and now, you have both of them," says Dee Dee.

"I assure you, I am innocent," says Mysto, "but you may feel free to search my room!"

Captain Caveman then does so. "No sign of Taffy," says Captain Caveman.

"Incredible," says Mysto.

"Then, where is she," asks Brenda.

"If I may," says Mysto, "I noticed Miss Watson seemed a bit… too surprised to see the woman we thought to be Miss Duncan!"

"That's right," says Dee Dee, "and she was too quick to accuse the other two of being this mystery sneak!"

"Watson Lady has Taffy," says Captain Caveman, "Captain CAVEMAN!" He then flies off.

"Is he magic," asks Mysto.

"We're not sure," Brenda and Dee Dee both say.

...

Dee Dee, Brenda, and Mysto were running after the flying caveman. "So, what is the deal with these keys," asks Dee Dee.

"That's what I was hired to find out," says Mysto, "what I know, so far, is that a flashlight pen was involved! But without it, I can't figure out what the story of the keys is!"

"Could this be it," asks Dee Dee, handing him the pen.

"Yes, that's it," says Mysto, "someone stole it from me!"

Captain Caveman kicks Watson door down. "We have questions," says Captain Caveman.
