Carrie chuckled, "Yes, I did...I suppose I could say some things of what she would have in common with you...Let's see here...Ah, yes, she was born in the winter, and she especially loves lilacs that survives through winters like her. She loves rainy days where she can enjoy a warm drink, and a good cozy blanket to cuddle in while reading her books, and she enjoys strolling on warm days. She especially loves mystery books and randy books.", with a little smirk.
Tim blushed a bit by hearing that. "Oh, she does...", Jason elbowed him as he was snickering. "Knock it off!", Tim swatted him away. "Hey, what kind of big brother would I be if I didn't tease you about this?", Jason smirked as Tim rolled his eyes.
Tim replied, "You were only two hours older than me, Jay!", and Jason piffled his lips, "Details...", before another sound of similar surprise was heard, and they looked over to see Dick holding a crafted towel, and Carrie recognized it as Komi's, as she asked for a towel to be made of Greek cotton yet crafted with Tamaran colors and her home world a year ago, out of respect for Mother's wishes.
"I saw a woman with deep black hair, full green eyes, and I mean, full from both sclera to iris, and her skin is like the prettiest orange, like the orange from the sunset!", Dick exclaimed before looking at Carrie, "Please tell me that this is Komi, your Kori's sister, as I wouldn't want to hurt you if it was Kori!", not wanting to hurt his newly reunited sister's feelings.
Carrie smiled, "You are in luck. That's Komi's towel. She's the boldest of us all. She especially is a water lover and a sunning lover.", with a grin as she hadn't exactly said everything about Komi's rebellious actions in her story. "Sunning?", Dick asked as Carrie smirked.
"I guess it's called tanning these days, but yeah, Komi loves getting some sun; like I said prior, she and Kori, their people rely on the sun's rays for powering most of their abilities.", Carrie explained as Dick took a deep breath. "Wow...", Dick shook his head. "I can see why you fell for her sister... Komi... she's beautiful.".
Carrie smiled, "Good. You better do that often...Komi, she still thinks that she's not worthy of love even after she has been loved all these short years with us in family affections and such. And let's see...Ah, yes, she loves dancing in the rain, and she is competitive in duels, and she especially loves flying, especially when she races Pegasi and their riders or the diving eagles and hawks. She said that she was born in the summer, and oh, she can be blunt and sassy, and very confident at times, but standoffish at times.".
Dick nodded, "I understand, Carrie. And I bet I can be a good rider on a Pegasus!", with a grin, and Carrie chuckled, "We'll see about that.", as Dick went to take another seat, carefully folding Komi's towel, gazing at Komi's home planet on the towel itself.
A few moments later, another familiar sound of surprise was heard as others looked over to see Jason holding a sheathed spear, with Carrie recognizing it as Artemis's spear, and Waylon replied, "Who do you got?".
Jason replied, "For a few moments there, I saw this tall and beautiful woman with long, vibrant auburn hair in a ponytail, with hazel eyes when I touched this spear...", and Carrie replied, "That's Artemis's spear. She's the general of the Amazons, and she's really fierce in battle and dueling practice. She's wise and patient, but she doesn't trust easily until she gets a good reason to trust.".
"Woah, I got like, a total warrior one?", Jason asked as Carrie smiled before he whistled, "Jeez, kinda makes me feel a bit... challenged.".
"I don't blame you. Artemis is quite an intimidating woman.", Carrie chuckled. "Which kinda fits, since you're a bit of an intimidator yourself.", Tim pointed out as it was his turn to tease on his brother.
Jason glared at him half-heartedly before chuckling lightly, "Can't exactly argue with that. So, Artemis likes strategy, I assume?", as he went to take a seat, careful to take one of good space, with the sheathed spear across his lap.
Carrie nodded, "Yes, she really likes history, learning how she'd change their battles if she was there, and she loves to play chess. I believe I lost to her at least at least 40 times out of 60 times since I came to Themyscira, though I am getting better at it. She has a soft spot for theater, and no, I don't mean by movie theater, but like Greek theater, and she loves fishing on warm days with that spear, and she's also skilled in various other weapons like archery which she takes to use on winter times for food.", with a smile.
"Sounds like your dream girl almost.", Tim chimed as Jason took a deep breath. "Now then, I think Damien, you're the only one left?", Carrie asked as Damien nodded.
"Do you think any of your sisters will have issues with me? Considering that I'm obviously different from the others and I got powers myself.", Damien said.
Carrie replied, "First of all, Damien, the Amazons are technically super-powered themselves in great ways than normal humans, like stamina and all, I don't think they would have a problem with you having powers. Second of all, well, you better keep looking to find out who is your soulmate first before I say anything else more.".
Damien nodded as he kept touring, carefully looking and touching every Amazon-owned object for a bit longer as Waylon and Poppy took seats, murmuring and talking softly in conversation with the others before he suddenly caught a scent, an attractive scent as he got closer to a remarkable, beautiful sword, halfway out of its scabbard.
The other things had faint scents of females that Damien can smell, but they didn't interest him or attract him until now, and he inhaled deeply, his hand touching the handle of the sword, and a feeling of desire and shock came as he almost growled/gasped in surprise, seeing someone, immediately knowing that he had partially transformed, having a tail and ears.
He exhaled deeply as he heard Carrie's comment, "Is that normal?", as Sean replied, "No. For some reason, he was never attracted to any of the appealing ladies at high school, bored of their cliques and annoyed of being a Wayne in popularity, and even if they tried to grab his attention, he had extreme practice of controlling his panther instincts to escape and scratch and all in anger and hormones, while his teenage instincts were the opposite, wanting him to stay and give into their attractive ways and being horny. There wasn't barely a day where both instincts could agree together...until now.".
"Who is it, Damien, sweetheart?", Poppy asked, and Damien exhaled, "A tall woman with lush, shiny black hair to her waist, and sky-blue eyes.", and Carrie spoke, "Oh, boy...That sword there, that's Diana's.".
Damien's eyes, and by extension, the rest of the family's eyes, widened upon hearing that. Damien blinked a few times before he finally found his tongue, "D-Diana...".
"Wait, you mean Diana... daughter of your adoptive mother, your sister, princess of Themyscira, Diana?", Waylon asked as Carrie nodded.
"Yes... so this is what Steve was meaning...", Carrie whispered the last part. Her own brother: even if their births were different and such, was Diana's soulmate?
"Me? But I can't be! I mean, I'm 17, and she's so beautiful, looking good for her age, like 25, and she got a daughter who must be 13 by now, and she's a literal princess, while I'm...just Damien Wayne...", Damien exclaimed, and then looked down with a sigh, his panther ears and tail drooping.
"Could it have been a mistake?", Poppy asked as Carrie shook her head. "I don't know. I'm just as surprised too about all this.", Carrie said.
"Hey, Dame, if it makes you feel any better...", Jason spoke up. "Tim and I are in the same boat in the fact that we've apparently got soulmates in some fellow Amazons that are about the same age as Diana... that being hundreds and hundreds of years older than us."
Tim replied, "Yeah, and before you ask, Dick is luckier in a sense that he's also 18 like us, but Komi is stuck at 19, so he can catch up easily with her, and match her in a year or be a bit older than her, depending on him and her deciding and all.".
Dick replied, "Yeah, can't argue there as I can do that. Maybe when we get to Themyscira, you guys can maybe do some rapid aging somehow, like our mama Poppy here. She literally aged up to be with Papa Waylon for gosh's sake!".
Damien perked up, his cat ears and tail twitching in surprise, "You think so?", and Poppy replied, "We saw so many things happen that most people couldn't almost believe, yet they were the norm to us, not to the regular people. Who says that Themyscira can't help somehow for that, considering that all of you have a tiny part, maybe a bigger part in Damien, but all the same, of my gamma genes?", with a nod and smile.
"Oh, yeah, that's right...", Carrie nodded. "I remember seeing... well, it was mostly shadowed, but basically, that night you aged up a few years to truly be with Father, Mom.". Poppy and Waylon blushed by hearing that.
"Well, nice of your Oracle friend to do that, deciding to give us a bit of a censor for that night. Wished that we thought that sort of thing happened on better terms and not us being prisoners to the Assassins...", Waylon sighed.
Poppy shivered slightly, "I wouldn't want that on even Bane, that's for sure. All of you...I would do anything to save all of you, if you were all there in your egg selves and so on, if we were kept there longer for years...".
Waylon kissed her on the temple, rubbing her back as he held her, "It's okay, luv, it's in the past now...", and Poppy smiled, "I know, Wally...".
Damien reverently held the scabbard of Diana's sword, secured and all as he came over, "What do we do now?", and Carrie replied, "Actually, I can stay a while, for two weeks...I want to get to know you better, while you do things with like informing the high school and such...I believe Grandfather Thomas had said something about a Wayne property in Greece that is to be Great-Uncle Alfred and Great-Aunt Caroline's retirement or vacation place. We can be there for a bit for all of us to adjust to the time zones and for you to acclimate to the climates of the Mediterranean, and I can make a special mail to Mother to expect us.".
Dick replied, "Brilliant! Mama Poppy can talk with the rest of the family to make an excuse for us to be homeschooled for accelerated learning, and all.", as Tim replied, "How can we fit the chariot and Zenais?".
Daphne suggested, "Carrie was fine before, and if she's nearby, but not too close, she can follow us easily, especially when it's our private plane.", with a smile.
Carrie replied, "I can do that easily enough.", and Sean replied, "Awesome. So, that's more or less settled then. Want a bit of help to get those things back in your bottomless bag, and then watch a movie with us? We can make it a movie night!", with a grin.
"That sounds wonderful. I'd love to.", Carrie smiled widely, glad that she can still remember some profound things from her few years of memories after becoming a child from toddlerhood, and so, that was the start of Carrie spending time to get to know her reunited family.
Later that night, all the boys soon got surprises of their own after going to sleep and admiring their possibly chosen soulmates' things, protecting them in their rooms, starting with Tim who had worked hard on reading Alexa's book, translating it with technology.
He found himself in a radiant garden, in the side of a magnificent Greek library, and to his surprise when he glanced to see himself in the windows' reflection, he found himself to be a bit older, looking like 21. He can see faintly of his 18-year-old self from reality, but the older reflection overlapped it.
He then heard a small laugh, and he went to walk to the sound, pinpointing it to a lovely tree, seeing a bench, and he widened his eyes with a gasp as he saw the woman of his brief vision sitting on the bench with a cushion, reading a book with a intrigued look as she read, partly in the sun, yet partly in the shade, Alexa...
"Alexa?", Tim spoke up as she glanced over to see him and smiled. "Oh, hi, Tim...", Alexa spoke in a very soft and lovely tone. "Didn't hear you coming... bit of a shamefulness action for an Amazon, not keeping herself totally aware of her surroundings in case there are foes nearby.". She blushed as she closed her book, "I was just getting a bit into this one novel that I found washed ashore...".
Tim blinked, "How...how do you know my name?", and Alexa smiled, "Felt your spark when you touched my favorite book...When I saw you, and recalled Carrie's descriptions of her found family, though she never said that I'd actually find a soulmate through my book...Talked a bit with Hippolyta who told me that particular thing...".
"Oh...Is she...she okay with me being here? I mean, I'm a man.", Tim replied, and Alexa nodded, "I know, and she's fine, as this is temporary, as this is like dreamwalking. You're asleep, and so am I...So, come closer, Tim...I have seen several shipwrecked men, and that captain of Diana, but I never personally cared to meet them up close, or talked to one before...", with a smile as she patted a hand on the bench.
"I'm sorry...", Tim shook his head. "This... am I dreaming this? Like if I meet you in person, it'll be the first time we're truly talking? I'm just trying to make sure I don't look like a total ass if that's the case.".
Alexa giggled softly, "Tim, relax...Think of this as a meeting of new friends...After all, friends need to get to know each other to be more, yes?".
Tim exhaled as he took a seat, "Yeah, yes, you're right...I...", clearing his throat, "So, that was your favorite book I had...I went to read it, with some help of translation...".
"And? How do you like it?", Alexa asked excitedly and curiously, and Tim replied, "Well, I rather have to admit that my favorite part of the mystery tragedy was...", starting his conversation with the most beautiful and literate woman ever he has seen.
Meanwhile, in another bedroom, Dick found himself in a place after falling asleep, seeing a beautiful forest, walking along a river, seeing his reflection a year older overlapping his 18 year old self, and he then heard a strange, beautiful exclamation in a foreign language next to a laugh and a splash, walking closer to see a glorious meadow with a pond, in the sunlight, and saw a familiar towel by the pond.
He looked around in confusion, wondering where Komi is, when he then heard a splash again, and looked over, and blushes bright red, uncomfortably hiding his reaction as he realized that his sister was right of Komi being the boldest, for right there, the woman of his brief vision is naked, barehanded fishing!
Dick made sure to hide as he was trying to avert his gaze as it was certainly catching him off guard and obviously lessons growing up about not spying on girls and such were ringing in his head.
"You scared to see a girl in all her beauty there, Grayson?", Komi's voice gave a sarcastic chuckle as Dick turned his head to see Komi standing right in front of him with a smirk on her face and her arms crossed... and obviously still without a stitch on her.
"H-how?", Dick stammered, looking between the pond and the cover behind the bushes and trees, and Komi smirked, "Flying, duh...Relax, I'm not gonna bite ya for looking...unless you think I'm ugly?", with a little frown as she whispered the last part.
She knew from Carrie and the books about aliens that humans in Man's World presume that aliens are scary, ugly, dumb, army-smart, and whatever else.
"No!", Dick threw his hands up. "Not in the slightest!", he tried to say as she chuckled. "Okay, well, that's good to know we're on the same page at least with that, handsome.", Komi teased as he went red faced. "But maybe I'm just more average, you see girls that are way more attr-".
"No, not average either. You're like...", Dick tried to clear his throat as he was trying to regain his composure while still not looking. "You're one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen in my life. Any guy would practically die for a chance to be with you.". Komi's eyes widened a bit by hearing that.
