Down To "Earth"
["Parents' Day, 19 years prior to the present day"]
"Hey…Red!"
"What's up Blue?"
"You know…I've always wondered; who were your parents? I've never got to meet them! And you never attend Parents' Day at school. You always lie and tell grandpa to call in sick whenever that day comes…isn't it a bit weird that you're always absent on that specific day?""They're well…long gone!"
"What exactly do you mean by that?""Exactly what I said!"

Red walked back home after a day's outing with Stacy. He was unusually sober, yet felt full pleasure. It was a pretty cold yet tranquilising night, and it was evident as to how the air softly blew his hair to one side.
"Red? When are you gonna be back home?" a text from Blue appeared on his phone.
He replied back with "Meh, I'll be back soon! Don't worry 'bout it, man!"
"Oh, Rebecca! This is the best invention ever made! A spaceship made to exceed the speed of light! Isn't it wonderful, dear?"
"Oh boy it is! But…Dave?" "Yeah?"
Red heard the misfortunate.
"I think I've discovered aliens and extraterrestrial life roaming our planet. I think we might need to bring them in for testing, to investigate them further," Rebecca opened the panel to the window facing the river near them. Dave grabs a telescope. Red hides behind a section of the dome without a window.
"Yeah, I think we might need to take a jab of their DNA, just to test it a little. So that we can get a good look into them and what they're like, I think we might have some aliens in our base already."
"Test it, test it, test it, a little." the words repeated in Red's head like a broken record. The world around him suddenly went black.
