In the human realm at a dojo called 'Zen Warrior Academy', a dozen students were mirroring their instructor's movements. The man looked to be in his mid-thirties and of Chinese nationality with fair skin, and black hair in the style of a spiky quiff. He wore a long-sleeve dark gray kung fu shirt, a black belt tied around his waist, dark blue pants, and black kung fu shoes. He was in the midst of honing his students' flow in movement through tai chi, and among them were Luis's friends, who wore black belts.

They wore similar uniforms as their master, only the shirts had either short sleeves or they were sleeveless, and they had their own accessories to their uniforms. Dante, his shirt was short-sleeved, and he wore white sports tape wrapped around his forearms and matching leg wraps around his ankles. On his right was Melina, whose shirt also had short sleeves, and wore black wristbands with hot pink stripes. And lastly, behind Dante was Malvin with a sleeveless shirt, black wrist warmers, a black sweatband around his forehead, and gray leg wraps around his ankles.

Everyone was getting into the rhythm of their shifu's movements, but their teacher noticed Luis's crew was a bit distracted, "Is there anything wrong, Dante? M&M?"

"Oh, sorry, master Shaun." Mal apologized on their behalf. "We just haven't heard from Luis or Lucia for a while."

"Oh, yeah," Spoke a girl in the back of the group who had her black hair in a ponytail and wore a brown belt. "They're spending the summer at a reality check camp." She said in recollection.

"I'm sure they're fine." Said a male student with a buzz cut and a red belt wearing a sleeveless shirt with a black t-shirt underneath. "Knowing them, they're probably having as much fun as possible with their kid sister while making sure she's not doing anything stupid. Besides, with how busy they've been lately, they need some quality time together."

"I know that lately they haven't had much time together," Melina explained in a concerned tone as they finished their tai chi exercise, "But we can't help but feel worried about them for some reason."

"Come now," Shaun smiled with his hands in his sleeves, "You have nothing to worry about. Those two are among my best students and your most loyal friends. They'd tell you if something was wrong."

The three friends looked with reassuring smiles, "You're probably right." Dante spoke to their instructor. "They're probably being occupied by some exciting activities by their counselors."

In the demon realm in the Owl House living room, however, they watched as Eda shuffled a deck of cards in her hands, as the eyes on the cards appeared and looked up at her. She smirked as she looked down at Owlbert, wearing a green visor, narrowing his eyes as he hooted.

"Watch closely, kids." Eda told them as Luz sat next to her, Luis sat on the arm behind her with his hands behind his head, and Lucia was sitting on the other side of Eda with her cheek resting on her palm. "Hexes Hold 'Em is the most tricky game on the Boiling Isles. Any proper witch knows how to play."

"Oh boy, cards!" Luz said in a happy tone, "The paper rectangles that old people think are fun!" Luz seemed interested, but her siblings had an indifferent view of it.

"I really don't see what's so tricky about a card game. Doesn't look any different from poker," Luis watched as he dug his pinky in his ear.

Eda puts a card down on the table, and lightning surges from the cards, making Owlbert fly for cover behind the side of the table. All the cards stand and roar at each other, and Owlbert's deck begins to attack Eda's, making him smirk.

The older humans' expression changes, "Then again, it could be nothing like poker." Lucia stated.

"Now, when it looks like the deck is stacked against you, that's when you break out the wild card!" She held it up into the air and then Owlbert's cards burst into flames. The flames then spelled out 'WINNER: EDA' over the table before disappearing, and Owlbert flew back on the table to bow and hoot at his opponent. Unfortunately, she wasn't a good winner, "Whoo! I win. In your adorable owl face." Eda stood up with a hand on her hip. "I love the feeling of victory. It feels...fluffy?" Eda looked confused as feathers were growing from her arms.

"Oh, that's not good." Luis said as everyone looked nervous.

"Uh, Eda? It's happening again!" Luz said cautiously as she pointed at Eda.

"What's happening again?" She asked, still unaware of what was happening.

"Your curse is returning!" King exclaimed, pointing at Eda's arms, making her shriek in horror at the sight of them.

Season 1 Intro

The portal door appears and opens showing Luz, Luis, and Lucia seemingly going through the sky upwards, but they were actually falling. Eda rescues the human trio, and along with King, appear flying the Owl Staff, in the direction of The Owl House.

Afterward, it then showed Hooty at the front door, which opened to show Luz twirling the staff until Eda took said staff back with Luz getting nervous as Luke and Lucia smirk at her before King pops up in front to wave with his arms outstretched.

Then a mural appears with Willow, Gus, and Amity in three frames, with Willow making a heart with her hands, Gus holding out his arms in celebration, and Amity just turning her back with crossed arms.

King appears holding a stuffed rabbit, along with many other stuffed animals around. He pretends to rule these stuffed animals, until some of them fall on him.

Triple LN are Eda's staff flying over Bonesborough, where they meet the big-nosed prisoner, Tinella Nosa, and give high-fives to Willow and Gus. Then, Eda and King appeared while running from the guards before the Noceda trio helped them escape only to lose control of the staff, and they appeared safe… until they hang on for dear life as a massive monstrous worm-like monster, mouth wide open, lunges at them as they scream in horror.

Then five of them are seen on the roof of the Owl House, where the three humans cast their Light Spell, making them go into the night before they each explode in a bright light with "The Owl House" logo appearing with the Light spell streaking across it with background sounds.

All of them rush to Eda's room, and she opens a chest to get her elixirs. "Oh, boy," She looked at the chest in horror as all of the bottles in it were empty. "This is terrible. I'm out of elixir."

"Uh, last time this happened, you turned into this thing," Luz holds up her phone to show a picture of the Owl Beast on the screen.

"I know I should be repulsed, but that look is fierce." The Owl Lady commented in both pride and a joke.

"I'd stick with 'repulsed,'" Luis spoke to get their attention. "When I saw that, I was like, 'Ohhhh, I see why she's kept that a secret from us and cut herself off from society by living in the woods.'" Eda glared at the boy, annoyed by his comments, "It really puts the 'ug' in 'ugly'. What are your thoughts, Lucia?"

"You ask me, I think she was robbed of something more," Lucia told them honestly, before facing Eda. "I mean, you know how you said that's the reason people call you the 'Owl Lady'?" She asked her, referring to the photo.

"Yeah, why?"

"I expected something less grotesque, and with a little more pizzazz and flair." The teen girl said, thinking that disappointment must come naturally to the witch.

"You're saying I don't have pizzazz or flair?" Eda narrowed her eyes as Lucia and Luis shook their heads. She was offended, but she had to stay focused, "You two are going to pay for that later, but right now, we need to head to the market."

"Market!" Luz stood and started to leave.

"I'm stealing everything that's not nailed down!" King cheered as everyone but Eda followed her.

Her focus didn't last long, unfortunately, "Before we go, would anyone like to play one more hand of Hexes Hold 'Em?" Eda pats her pockets, but couldn't find her cards, "Hey, where are my cards?"

Luz is revealed to have hidden them behind her as Owlbert flew by her side. "Take these and fly ahead," She whispered to the tiny owl. "She'll have to follow us." Owlbert does so and Eda took notice of the situation.

"Okay, congrats. All three of you I'll deal with later. But for now…" She got up, and chased after Owlbert, "Owlbert, you sore loser, gimme back my cards!"

"It's been confirmed, she's hopeless," Lucia sighed as she closed her eyes while shaking her head in disappointment.

One trip to Bonesborough later, a winged demon flew over town, and the Owl House group, with Eda wearing her cloak to disguise herself, were in front of a potion shop named 'Mr. Elixir'.

She banged on the closed metal grate that covered the window for the owner, "Hey, open up, Morton!"

"Uh, ju-just a minute!" He called from inside.

King leaves Eda's side to hang with the Noceda siblings on a bench. "I tell ya," Lucia couldn't help but appreciate the atmosphere. "When we head into town, there's nothing better than people-watching in the Demon Realm."

Three witches were standing at a bus stop as a giant egg rolled up to it. The egg cracks, revealing a featherless bird that screeches before it flies away. The witches enter the egg, one of them closes it, and it rolls off.

"Wait, wait!" Tinella tried to catch a lift from it, but she was too late, "Aw, dang it."

"The curse of tiny legs." Luz commented knowingly.

King looks at Tinella in sympathy, "I know the pain."

Tinella looked up hearing loud footsteps and ran away screaming from a larger witch with a brown cloak. He stopped and looked over his shoulder to motion for other witches dressed like him to follow. They did so as they pulled a cart carrying a large worm-like demon strapped to it through the street.

"Yo, teach." Luis said as they walked back to Eda, "Check it out. Some creeps are hauling one heinous-looking parade float."

Eda turns to where they were looking, "Those creeps aren't hauling a parade float. Those creeps are demon hunters." The demon growls and struggles to escape, forcing the two demon hunters pushing the cart to pull its ropes to pin it back down. And it tries to bite the leader. "Dangerous nomads who capture and sell the most powerful beasts." She explained as the leader traces a spell circle, creating green lightning in his hand and shocks the demon unconscious. He turns and glares at the humans, and flinches as her sister holds her shoulder.

"Huh. Neat," Luis comments.

"Yeah, you would think that," She told the boy indifferently. "But 'neat' is not a word that comes to mind for someone in my situation. That is unless you open up right now, Morton!" She continues banging on the grate.

"Sorry, Eda!" Morton apologized as he opened it. He is revealed to be a lanky young man with light pale skin, pointy ears, light brown eyes, and short brown hair under a gray funnel hat. He also wore a mint green long-sleeved top with fingerless gloves, a long brown overlay dress with a criss-cross sleeve, a frog necklace, and a dark brown belt, "I was up all night poison tasting and for some reason, I don't feel great." He explained holding his stomach.

Luis and Lucia looked at each other with skeptic expressions, "Hmm. It's a mystery," This got the attention of the other three. "Wouldn't you agree, hermana mayor?"

"Yes indeed, manito." Lucia agreed, "And a perplexing one, at that. Morton here says that he's been poison tasting, and somehow has fallen ill," She explained in a knowing tone. "What do you believe could have been the cause of his illness?"

Luis held his chin in thought as he responded, "You got me, sis. I'm afraid this case is unsolvable."

Luz held her hands in front of her mouth to hold in laughter as Eda just deadpanned at them, and Morton just looked confused, "I'm not sure if that was sarcasm or…"

"You, ignore them. It makes things easier for all our sakes," Eda points to the elixir seller. She then looked more sternly to the other two, "You two, be quiet. There's a time and place for those nonchalant attitudes, but not now."

"Well, you're no fun." Lucia crosses her arms.

"I am, too, fun!" She argued before getting back to why they came to Morton, "I'm all outta my juice, pal." She gave an empty bottle to him.

"Oh, gee. Lemme see what I can do," Morton ducks down and digs around, rattling bottles.

The demon hunters continued on, revealing Willow and Gus, looking dejected, behind the demon, "Yo, check it. It's Willow and Gus!" Luis said as TLN ran up to greet them.

"Heya, friends!" Then Luz noticed the sad look on their faces, "Wait, what's wrong? Who hurt our babies?" Lucia and Luis looked at her with a raised eyebrow.

"Them." Willow points a thumb to a food stand.

There, a group of teenage girls were talking and laughing together. Among them was Amity, who was staring at a potion while a three-eyed girl looked at her friend with a ponytailed friend tossed a chip in the mouth of her with glasses. The three new witch girls were Boscha, Skara, and Cat. Boscha was the one with pink skin, three gray-blue eyes, pointy ears, and violet hair tied back in a bun, and wore a Potions track uniform. Skara was a young witch in the Bard track with a dark brown skin tone, pointed ears, eyes with gray irises, and her hair came in tones of pinkish-grey and deep mauve held up in a ponytail. Last was the young Healer Cat, who had dark skin too, and brown wavy hair that covered her pointy ears with a side bang and wore squared glasses with black frames over her brown eyes and had a red lower lip.

"Amity's having a moonlight conjuring and invited everyone but me," Willow looked down in depression.

"And she keeps posting about it on her Penstagram account," Gus summoned a scroll to show Amity's account with her and her friends taking a selfie.

Below the photo was her account name 'WitchChick128' and a tweet appeared, "'It's conjuring night! No dorks allowed'?" She crossed her arms and scowled at her, "What a jerk!" It only lasted a second until she looked at the others in confusion. "What's a moonlight conjuring?"

Willow smiled a bit, "You spend the night at someone's house, telling stories, playing games…"

"Like a slumber party!" Luz realized as she smiled at them, "We have those!"

"Then you bring something to life with moon magic," Willow held up a book, showing a certain page.

TLN stared at the picture for a moment, "…Like a weird slumber party!"

"Still pretty cool though," Lucia admitted.

"Gus and I have never been to one." The Plant girl told them honestly, "You need at least three people and—"

Luz cuts her off, "I'm three people—I mean, we're three people," She corrects herself, then looks up at her brother and sister. "Actually, the two of you plus the three of us make a total of five, which is more than enough. And we're way better than them!"

Boscha laughed as they all approached them, "Sorry you couldn't get an invite to the conjuring, Willow." She mockingly apologized, "Only real witches allowed."

Amity scoffed as she looked away, "Leave her alone. It's not her fault she was born without talent." She told them as they walked.

As they left, Willow growled in fury making the ground crack, and vines started to grow underneath her. Luz slaps away the tallest vine, and hugs Willow to comfort her. Luis wasn't the type to let stuff like that slide, so he looked down and saw a rock. He picks it up, uses his thumb to flick it over his hand, catches it, and gives the rock a hard throw. It did what he wanted it to do, which was to ricochet off Boscha's head and hit Amity in hers.

"Ow!" They exclaimed before they looked back with a glare. The four girls marched to the group.

"Okay! Which one of you threw that?!" The three-eyed witch demanded.

"Yo." Luis answered, and just as the others were to stop him from getting hurt, Lucia and Luz raised their arms to stop them and moved them further back. "That would be me."

"Okay, if I may… Why?" Cat demanded as they glared at the boy.

"Well, for one thing, it's an old habit of mine, miss…" He then realized he didn't know what to call them. He points his finger to Amity first, "You, we know, unfortunately." The Blight glared at him for his tone as he turned to her friends, "The rest of you, no clue, fortunately."

"Well, Mr. Attitude, I'm Boscha, here's Cat, and that's Skara." The pink one introduced themselves with a hand on her hip. "And what do you mean habit?"

"It's just whenever I see fools act as irksome as you posers do, I just have something about it." He answered with his hands pocketed.

"Fools?" Cat questioned.

Then Amity narrowed her eyes, "Posers?"

"Yeah, I hate to say it, but it goes without saying you girls tend to spout complete nonsense." The girls widened their eyes at his retort, "None of you would know a real witch if one was standing right in front of you. Speaking of, you don't seem all that special yourself; especially the three-eyed troll and the short one." Luis smirked down at them.

Despite being slightly annoyed as the others, Skara felt some confusion, "Who's he talking about? Any clue who the short one-?" The other girls glanced at the girl.

"Gus? If you would?" Lucia asked the young illusionist.

"Oh. Sure," He motioned them to step closer to each other, which they did, and traced a spell circle to conjure lines above their heads to showcase their height.

Skara saw that hers was the lowest, causing her to grumble and lunge at Luis with her arms stretched out to him. But Amity grabbed her cowl, "Let me go! I'm gonna demolish him!"

"Let it go, Skara," Amity told her as she glared at the humans. "He's just a big mouth without any powers, like all humans."

"Yeah, no sense in getting worked up." Boscha glared up at the boy, "Like Amity and I said, Willow has no talent for magic. She doesn't have what it takes to be a witch." Willow glared at her but felt Lucia touch her shoulder.

"I'd rethink that opinion of yours if I were you," Luis crossed his arms and closed his eyes. "'Cause if you think that being witches is no place for the weak…" He opened one and smirked at the four girls, "That would mean you four wannabes have no right to be witches any more than us. Am I wrong?"

Skara and Cat widened their eyes while Amity and Boscha's eyes twitched. Even Willow and Gus were surprised by what he said, "He did not just say that." Gus looks up at Willow.

"But luckily I'm feeling generous enough to let you off with a warning." Luis told the girls in a condescending manner, "Just apologize to Willow here, and we can call our business done. Heck, I'll even let you girls walk away."

They widened their eyes again at how he thought he could take all four of them. "Is he serious?" Skara asked.

"Please." Boscha scoffed, not buying his threats. "Like he's really gonna take us all at once."

Luis sighed as he knew where this was going, "So I guess you're not apologizing…"

"And what are you gonna do if we—" Boscha was interrupted as Luis punched her straight in the face and was sent flying on her back.

The girls are shocked by what he just did and glare at him. Amity and Skara dropped their bags and went for a punch from both sides of Luis, but he caught them easily. He then pulled them closer to each other to have them bump into each other's heads. With them distracted, Luis kicks his knee into Skara's chin, and he low sweeps Amity's feet. As he spins, he performs a handstand as he reels his feet before kicking her hard into her ribs, sending her sliding in front of his family and friends. Once he was back on his feet, he felt someone grab him around his waist.

He looked behind him to see it was Cat, "Gotcha!" She smiled.

"You sure about that?" He asked, making her look confused and worried.

Luis steps on her foot and she yelps as she lets him go to rub her foot. With Cat distracted by the pain, he grabs her cowl as he flips over her, and throws Cat into Skara, making the two crash into a wall opposite of his friends. With that done, he dusts his hands and looks at his group, with Willow and Gus looking amazed.

"That…was…amazing!" Gus exclaims in excitement. "I can't believe you took on all of them, all by yourself!"

"I told 'em to just apologize, but…" He looked at the state of them, minus Boscha who began to stand on her feet. "Yeah, I guess wherever you go, some just like to do things the hard way."

"I knew you were a strong fighter, but I didn't think you were that good," Willow's face turned completely red by how he's beaten Amity and her friends, for her. Luz and Lucia gave him a thumbs up for beating up the jerks and impressing Willow.

"It's no big deal. Anyone could do stuff like that if they were properly trained in combat," He told them with a smile.

When Boscha got up, her left eye was black and swollen and she saw the state of her crew. She glares at Luis with his back turned and ignites her fist. She charges at him with his back turned, and when she tried to go in for the punch, he felt his instinct kick in and grabbed her right wrist.

"You probably shouldn't have done that." Luis then spun her before he had her face pressed into a wall with one hand, and he used his other to hold her arm.

"Okay, he took us all at once," Boscha groaned in pain. Amity looked up at him and tried to trace a spell circle, but Lucia grabbed her wrist.

"Ah, ah. No squirming," Lucia warned Amity as she twisted it behind her back as her spell disappeared. "Some people just don't listen. Different world, same issues." She then saw Skara and Cat getting up, "Hey, Willow. Could you tie those two up for us? So they don't get any ideas."

"Uh…sure," Willow traced a spell circle to summon vines that wrapped around Cat and Skara.

"Hey, let us go!" Cat demanded as she and Skara struggled to break free.

"Whoa, easy there, kiddies," Lucia warned the two of them. "You should count yourselves lucky that we're focusing on these two."

"In fact, Cat, right? This is a prime time to teach a young Healer student like you about pressure points." Luis told her as he continued holding Boscha's face pressed against the wall. "They're specific locations on the body that are believed to correspond to different organs and systems within it, and they can produce significant pain or other effects when manipulated in a specific manner. Just like this," He explained as he demonstrated by pressing Boscha's palm with his thumb, making her cry out. "It's an effective method for what we call 'pain compliance'. The pain you feel in your hand, it's the median nerve I'm compressing." He presses his thumb harder and she cries again, "On a scale of one to ten before it was a two. Now, it's three. There's only one person who doesn't want me to go any higher than you, and that's me."

"Ju-just tell me what you want!" Boscha yelled out at him.

"I believe you owe Willow an apology," Luis reminded her of how she and her friends ended up in this situation. "Don't you think you follow through?" He then began to twist her hand, which made a popping sound.

"Okay, okay!" Boscha complied as she couldn't take it anymore, "I-I'm sorry! Willow, I'm sorry!" Boscha apologized to her.

"Very good. Now we're done," He then releases her, and she walks away from them.

"Now, don't you think you should apologize, too?" Lucia asks Amity as she bends her wrist over, causing her to cry out. "Well?"

"I'm sorry, too!" Amity cried out as she began to not feel anything in her arm, "It was wrong of me to say you have no talent!"

"Good," Lucia released her, and the young Blight rubbed her wrist to soothe the pain. Then Lucia turned to Skara and Cat, "Now, would either of you like a lesson in pain compliance?" The scared girls looked at each other but shook their heads for not wanting to be next. "Didn't think so. Go ahead," She looked at Willow, and she traced another circle to release them.

The younger girls got their bags and regrouped as they walked away, and they glared back at Luis and Lucia as tears welled up in Amity and Boscha's eyes.

"Wow," Willow looked at the older humans for doing that for her. "No one's ever stood up for me like that before.

"Well, no one deserves to be treated the way you have." Lucia cracked her fingers, "We've had lots of practice sticking up for our kid sister."

"Thanks, guys." Luz said in gratitude for how lucky she was to have them in her life, "And don't waste your time getting upset over those posers. 'Cause we're gonna have our own moonlight conjuring." She said, making both of them smile at her.

"Are you serious?" Gus asked as he pulled out a piece of paper, "This was on my bucket list. After owning a real human bucket!" He explained as he checked off 'Moonlight Conjuring'.

"That's a really weird thing to want, but it's good to have enthusiasm." Lucia pointed out, "And Luz, you're not doing a moonlight conjuring-"

Luz cuts her off by hugging her waist, "Please, let us do a moonlight conjuring!" She begged them with puppy dog eyes, "I'll do anything! Both your chores around the Owl House for a week! No, two weeks!"

Lucia and Luis glanced at each other and chuckled, "Easy, manita." She grabbed the young girl's shoulders and gently pulled her off her. "If you'd let us finish, we were gonna say that you're not doing a moonlight conjuring without us."

Luz's eyes shined, "Really?"

"Yeah," Luis nodded, "Sounds like it could be a lot of fun." He smiled and held two fingers. "And we're helping out for two reasons."

"One, we can't resist the urge to show up some jerks." Lucia stated.

"And two, we're just glad that you finally have some friends to hang out with," He pinched her cheek. "We're not always gonna be around, and we don't want our baby sis to be lonely."

"Luis!" Luz whined with a small blush, embarrassed but still smiling at him for saying that.

"Wait. So, you never had friends over at your house, Luz?" Asked Willow.

"I wouldn't say that," Luz countered. "I've had at least one person come over."

Her siblings looked at her skeptic, "You have? When?" Lucia wanted the details.

"Oh, you know." Luz tried to explain, "It was a while ago when I was nine when this girl had been visiting us for about a week." She reminded them, "And sometimes she would travel the block selling cookies. She was named after a flower. Was it Jasmine? Iris? No, Daisy?" Luz tried to remember.

Her siblings were still at a loss until Luis snapped his fingers in realization, "Are you talking about that Girl Scout back in fourth grade who's been coming to our house because she was partnered up with you for a research project when your science class was studying reptiles?" He recalled who his sister was talking about, "Aster?"

"Aster! That's it!" Luz said as it all came back to them, "Yeah, we passed, but only barely because she vomited on our classmates sitting closer to the front row." Luz explained as Gus and Willow cringed in disgust.

"That only reason she puked was because you brought actual dead lizard skin with you to class," Lucia reminded. "Other kids called her 'Pukster' for weeks."

"Oops." Luz rubbed her head remembering that, but then thought of something else, "Hmm. I wonder where she's been and what she's been doing since."

"Well, Luz," Luis started, "Word says one of her dads got a career change out of the country," He explained to his kid sister. "So she and her family moved. That following summer. To Qingdao."

Luz slumps her shoulders feeling depressed, "Ah, who am I kidding? I was a friendless spazz back home."

Willow pats her shoulder. "I'm sorry, Luz."

Gus's eyes lit up in thought, "Wait, how do you two know so much about her?" He asked curiously.

"Well, I'm friends with her older sister, Cristina," Lucia explained. "Our classmates used to call her Cris. We still keep in touch." She elaborated as she pulled out her phone to her social media account that had pictures of her and her family in Qingdao and other areas of China, "She even sends me photos of how she's adjusting to her new life there."

"And come to think of it, Aster and I sparred against each other in a kung fu tournament about two years ago." Luis recalled, and he smiled to give credit where credit is due. "The match was close, and she made me work for the win; I appreciate that. She's got moves."

Luz looks at Willow and Gus, "Now, you know what life for me is like back home."

"Welp, that's gonna change, right now," Lucia rubbed her head, "C'mon. Let's go tell Eda." They left, leaving Willow and Gus to smile at each other.

Speaking of the Owl Lady, she was standing impatiently at Morton's stand, "I've got bad news and good news." He informed her as he looked up behind his counter, "Bad news is I'm all out 'till next week. Good news is feathers are a good look for you."

A feather grows out of her hair, "Morton!" Eda grits her teeth as several feathers flutter to the ground as she stalks forward.

Morton holds his hands up to her, "Well gee, E. Why'd you wait to re-up 'till now?" He asked knowing that the blame wasn't entirely his with her lousy sense of timing.

Eda crossed her arms and looked away, "I've been very busy."

"Yeah, busy playing Hexes Hold 'Em." King remarked, still sitting on the bench, "She's obsessed with it." He accused.

"I am not obsessed!" She denied his claim.

"You're playing it right now!" He points out as several cards were on the counter, and Eda had one in hand.

"…Am I winning?" She asked playfully, as Morton was not amused.

"You know, I wouldn't suggest this to just anybody," Morton speaks in a foreboding tone with a matching expression. "But if you need your elixir you could try your luck later this evening."

"In the Night Market?" Eda whispers to what he means.

"There's a guy with a stand," He informs her as he looks around. "Goes by Grimm Hammer. If anyone has what you need, it's him."

"Eda," Luz calls her and she turns to her human apprentices, "Gus and Willow and us are gonna do a moonlight conjuring and stick it to Amity. So can we…"

"Not tonight," Eda denied, holding her hand up. "I'm going out." Then she grabbed her staff and walked over to King still on the bench, "I need you three to watch the house. I have many precious objects in there."

"You do?" Luis quirked an eyebrow.

"Yes!"

King jerks his thumb to himself, "Like me!"

Eda picks King up by his collar, "You're coming with me. I need an extra pair of eyes looking out for pickpockets," She looks down at the humans. "And an extra pair of hands in case I want to pickpocket."

"Pickpocket!" The two shouted in unison as Luis and Lucia rolled their eyes at their childish behavior.

Willow and Gus then stood behind them, "Then, maybe they can come to the house and…"

"No!" Eda interrupts Luz by raising King in front of her, "Besides, conjurings are dumb; sitting in a circle holding hands," She scoffs as she walks away. "It's like magic for babies."

"Someone's certainly been attending their fair share of conjurings." Luis says in sarcasm.

"Told you she's a no-fun buzzkill," Their big sister deadpanned as Willow and Gus ran up to them.

"Guys," The humans turned to face them. "What did Eda say?"

"So, the funny thing is…" Luz looked nervous, not knowing how to say it. Then Gus looked above their heads.

"Oh, look!" He pointed to the sky, and they looked up seeing the moon glow. "The moon is rising into place. And the celestial powers only align once a year."

"Oh, I can't believe I finally have enough friends for a moonlight conjuring!" Willow clasped her hands in excitement before returning to her question, "Thank you, guys! Did Eda say it was okay?"

"Uh..." Triple LN looked at each other knowing this was a once-a-year chance for Willow, Gus, and the three of them.

So Luis answers first, "Sure we can." His sisters looked at him and he winked. "She said she'll allow it at the Owl House. Just as long as we don't make a mess."

"Or touch anything that's actually important," Lucia answers next, then whispers under her breath, "Questionable as that may seem."

"And never bring up that we did it." Luz finished with a nervous laugh.

"Yes!" Gus pumped his fists up.

"Oh, you guys are the best!" Willow cheered gratefully.

"We're gonna do a conjuring! We're gonna do a conjuring!" As the two sang, TLN looked up at the moon. "Conjuring, conjuring!" The humans looked nervous, hoping Eda would take her time with whatever she needed to do.

That night at the Owl House, Eda was putting on her cloak and Luis was meditating while his sisters watched from the couch. "Lucia, you're in charge while I'm out. Make sure Luz and Hooty don't get into any trouble."

"Hoot hoot!" Hooty calls out as he opens the door, "I don't need a babysitter. I'm a big boy house!" He protested.

"Why am I the only one who gets singled out?" Luz asked.

"Because neither she nor Luis are the type to get into some crazy situation as you are," Eda answered.

"That goes without saying," Lucia confirmed their mentor's statement. "Don't worry, Eda, nothing's gonna happen tonight.

"That's right, we'd never betray your hard-earned trust." Luz gives her a nervous chuckle.

"You're acting suspicious," Eda said as she looked at the girl knowing she was hiding something. "You're doing that thing where you hide in your hoodie."

Luz has her hood up and drawstrings pulled, "Meow I'm not. Uh…" She pushes her hood down. "Oh, where's King?"

"He's right here." Eda opens her cloak to reveal King asleep in a baby carrier. "His little body just conks out when he's weightless. Look at this," She moved side to side, and King didn't react as he moved like a ragdoll.

"Aww, he's so dangly." Luz cooed as she played with his feet.

"Such an adorable little snoozer," Lucia rubs his belly.

Eda looks at Luis still meditating on the arm of the couch, "Speaking of snoozing, is he still asleep?"

"No, he's meditating," Lucia presses her palms together and she closes her eyes. "It is a practice that involves training the mind to focus and achieve a state of calmness and awareness in one's self and their surroundings." She informed the witch in a sagely manner.

"I know what meditation is. It just seems to me like he's sleeping," Then she got an idea and pulled a marker out of her hair.

"I wouldn't," Lucia warned her.

"No, duh. You wouldn't." Eda walks up to Luis and pulls the marker closer to his face. Once she was close enough, Luis grabbed her wrist, "OK." She said as he pulled away her arm and jabbed her in the cheek with his elbow, "Ow!" Eda dropped the marker and held her cheek.

"No, duh. I wouldn't, because I'm not an idiot," Lucia mocked Eda.

"Yeah, I could've told you that was a bad idea," Luz tells her. "I've tried getting him while he was meditating once, next thing I knew he had my face pinned on the floor."

"If you have time to waste on stupid stuff, you should use it for something more productive and constructive; like actually training." Luis told the witch as he still kept his eyes closed. "Speaking of constructive uses of time, don't you have an elixir to get before you turn into a ravenous feather abomination of nature?"

"Ugh. And I'm no fun?" Eda complained, but couldn't deny that he was right. So she walks outside with the girls following. "Anyway, really going now. And kids…" She looked back at them, and only Luz grew nervous. "If you mess up the house, I will never trust you again." Luz looked terrified, but Lucia just shrugged.

"I can live with that," Lucia deadpanned.

"Seriously?" Eda hoped she'd be at least a little scared.

"I couldn't fake it if I wanted to," The older sister spoke to Eda. "Next time, dig deeper. Try to harness your repressed rage."

"I don't have any!"

"Spoken like someone who has repressed rage," She countered. "If I were you, and I'm so thankful I'm not, I'd say something like, 'If there is anything wrong with my house by the time I get back, you will know the fury of Eda the Owl Lady!'" Lucia mimicked her menacing tone and thunder crackled.

"Ooh!" Eda shuddered after hearing that, "Even I got chills from that." Then she looked confused as she looked up, "And how did you do that? There's not a cloud in the sky." Lucia just pulled out her phone and demonstrated it was due to a sound effects app. "Right. But yeah, what she said." She then addressed them in a lighter tone, "But no pressure! Byeeee!" Owlbert hoots as Eda flies away and they wave goodbye to her.

"Ay! Should we really be doing this?" Luz asks Lucia anxiously.

"This is a once-a-year opportunity," She reminded her younger sister. "I say we make the most of this while we have the chance."

"You're right." Luz agreed with her, "Willow's counting on us. And who knows? Maybe things will get better between her and our brother," They smirked at the idea before turning to a pair of bushes. "Okay, she's gone."

"Release!" The two bushes glow and explode, revealing Willow and Gus in their casual clothes. Willow is wearing a long-sleeved yellowish-tan dress that has a blue tie with an oval chartreuse gem on it, light gray and dark gray striped leggings, and brown boots, "I'm a sneaky sneakster!"

"I've got leaves in my pants," Gus said as he was wearing a cyan tunic with gray-white long sleeves and a black belt. He also wore charcoal-gray tights and dark purple boots. "And I like it."

"Glad you guys could make it." Greeted Lucia as they led them in.

"Company! Hooray!" Hooty said in excitement to have other people at the house, "Finally someone to listen to my stories! Okay, one time, a sparrow flew into my mouth, and then I—" No one paid attention to him as the door was closed shut. "Hey…" He lowered his eyebrows and coughed out a sparrow, which flew away.

Inside, Luis finished his meditation and saw his friends enter, "Good to see you guys." He stood up, greeting them with a smile.

"Welcome to the living room." Luz said with a raised hand up. "We call it that because it's technically living! The walls are breathing. Look." She points at a wall that is moving with heavy breaths.

Willow got closer to it and marveled, "Enchanting."

Gus is rummaging through a chest, "And look at all these human treasures." He comments as he pulls out an 8-ball and then a skull. "And actual humans!"

Luz held up a bowl of eyes, "We've got snacks, we've got weird music!" She puts the needle down on a gramophone, which produces an evil cackle.

Gus walks up to her with a bucket on his head, "We've got a bucket!"

"Gus, my man." She pointed a finger gun at him and winked.

"And best of all we have actual friends to do the conjuring with!" Willow smiled gleefully, "This is so exciting!"

"So how does this conjuring stuff work?" Luis asked his crush.

"Well first, we find an object to animate." She then smiles at a pot of flowers, "Since it's our first time we should pick something meaningful. Something beautiful." She fawned over it.

Gus bursts through the flowers with an action figure, "Like this strangely buff little man?" He squeezes the figure to make it speak.

"I'm half beef, half Bob!" It said as Luis shook his head in amusement.

Luz points at it, "Yes! He's perfect!"

"That's not exactly what I meant by 'beautiful'." Willow said, only for Gus to lower the action figure to show his whimpering sad puppy dog face, "Okay, buff boy it is."

"Yes!" Luz gives Willow a hug.

"Tonight, he shall be risen!" Gus declared dramatically.

"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's get to it!" Lucia said enthusiastically.

As the moon rose up into the sky, the trio moved to the center of the living room. Gus placed Beefy Bob on the ground in the center of the five of them as they sat in a square formation with several lit candles around them.

"According to the conjuring books I've read, we say the incantation and make a connection with the doll." Willow instructed them.

"Figurine." Gus corrected as all held hands, with Luis and Willow holding each other's hands with a blush.

"Moonlight, we call, we sing. Moonlight, take this chance. Moonlight, come tie the string. Moonlight, start the dance!" They began to chant as they were being engulfed in a blue aura similar to the moon's.

Only Luz struggled with it, "And I don't know the words!"

Outside, the moon continued rising into the sky. Hooty looked up and stared as it stopped moving before a burst of blue light expanded out of it. A similar burst of blue light burst out from between the five of them, spreading around the living room and extinguishing the candles. They all open one eye and look at Beefy Bob.

"Huh? Did that work?" Lucia wondered if that was supposed to happen.

"That's your cue, little man." Gus urged the action figure.

"And how come you guys know the words better than I do?" Luz asked her siblings.

"I reiterate: you should read more." Luis told his sister.

The entire house then started rumbling, and when Hooty blinked his eyes, he revealed them to have turned the same blue as the magical energy from the moon. Birds flew away from the house as its foundation cracked as it rose from the ground. The kids screamed as they lost their balance from the rumbling which finally stopped when the Owl House stopped rising and stood on two giant owl legs. The entire living room was a mess, and the kids were spread out around the floor.

"Everyone alright?" Luis asked as he leaned up on the couch arm.

Lucia sat up groaning as she cracked her neck, "Yeah, now that it's over." Then she stood up to address the issue. "But what was that?"

"Yeah," A book fell on Luz's head, and she rubbed the soreness away. "Do you think the entire house just hiccup?"

Gus held up the action figure, "Little buff guy, what did you do?"

He pressed on the figure. "A real man never takes accountability."

"No. I think—I think we might've animated the house by accident," Willow theorizes as she rubbed her head.

"The house?!" The Nocedas said in disbelief.

Hooty is making ghostly sounds as Luz runs out and almost falls off the ledge. The others joined her and saw that Willow's theory was right. Luz gasped at the sight of it, not expecting this to happen.

"No way…" Luis said in awe as the house started moving, catching all of them by surprise, and Hooty slammed the door.

"Hooty." Luz ran up to him, "Hooty! Hooty, you have to stop!"

"By the power of moonlight, I have risen. Hoot, hoot," He stated monotonously.

"He's in some kind of trance!" Gus told her. Then Hooty stepped through some trees, and the jostling made them lose their balance, and Gus almost fell off the ledge.

"Gus!" Willow and Luz grabbed him before he could fall. Luis grabbed Luz's hand as Lucia grabbed Willow's.

"Our magic must've spread through the house instead of the doll!" Willow hunched why this is happening.

"Figurine!" Gus corrected her again.

"Nobody cares!" Luis shouted.

"Just…hold…on!" Lucia called out as both she and Luis grabbed their free hands, and once she did, the blue glow returned.

"Hooty, stop!" Luz shouted before he could walk off a cliff. They pulled Gus back up and looked at their hands in confusion.

"How'd we do that?" Gus wondered.

Luz looked up and got an idea, "Willow, Gus, Lucia, Luis, hold hands again." They did so and the aura reappeared, and the house stepped away from the cliff.

"We're controlling it with the power of friendship," Willow smiled for a moment, before realizing what she said, "And the moon. Probably the moon."

"This is amazing!" Gus said in excitement.

"Hands down the coolest thing anyone's ever done here!" Luis stated as he was as excited as his friends. "Now that we know how this works, what do we do now?"

"On the one hand, we should probably stay put," Luz suggested.

Gus leaned over to her excitedly, "On the other hand, we've got a giant walking house and should totally take it on a joyride!"

The humans looked up at the sky and saw the moon starting to descend. On the one hand, they should put the house back. On the other, they might never get another opportunity like this. They might as well enjoy it for as long as they can.

"Alright, we got some time to kill," Lucia answered, as her siblings smiled. "Let's go out for a bit, and get back before Eda does."

With that said, the quintet was now holding hands and glowing again, directing the house forward through a bunch of trees as they cheered in excitement over the joyride. Unfortunately, they're spotted by the leader of the demon hunters, who growls as he has now found their next target.

Eda was seen strolling through the Night Market, and it looked to be a darker, creepier version of the market during the day.

She glanced around and felt the fatigue getting to her. She looked at her arm and saw more feathers growing, and covered it. "The curse. I need that elixir, quick." She looked ahead and saw a person sitting alone in an alley. "Hey, you." She called out to him and got his attention, "You know where I can find a Grimm Hammer?"

He nodded, and a small lizard-like creature from his eye socket pointed in front of them. Eda followed the direction to see a foreboding stand with a skull on the top and dark curtains. She approached it and the lizard was eaten by the man.

The Owl House was still marching through the forest but stopped when Boscha walked past them. She carried a crow-like phone by her ear, an eyepatch on her left eye, and was carrying a duffel bag over her arm with bandages on her palm.

"Hey, is that…" Willow looked up ahead.

"It's Boscha. That girl Luis beat up," Gus reminded them.

"Ugh! Yes, Mom," She groaned as she talked to her mother through the phone. "I'm fine and I'm going to a moonlight conjuring. No, Mom. You can't come. And yes, Mom, it's sad that you're asking." She lets go of the crow, which caws as it flies away. She glances behind her, and turns around and sees the Owl House.

"She noticed us," Willow alarms them as she turns to her friends. "What do we do?"

"Hmm," Luz smirked with an idea, "Gus, could you conjure a megaphone?" Gus did so and she looked at her sister. "Lucia, if you would?"

"I'd be privileged to do so." She turned to Boscha's direction and spoke through the megaphone. "You there! Mortal!" She called out to the young witch, "Begone at once! Your kind has been a stain on these lands for far too long! Leave my land, or face my wrath!" All of them laughed at how she was talking to her.

Boscha was unimpressed, "Ew. A talking house is giving me a lecture?" She waved it off. "Whatever. I'll just TP you like I did with the rest of the neighborhood."

"You dare compare me to those dilapidated hovels you call homes?!" Lucia sounded like she had taken offense to that comment, "FOOL! I am no mere house. I am a being as old as time itself! I will repeat once more: Begone, or SUFFER!" The Owl House stands as Lucia lets out a roar, making Boscha run away screaming.

All of them laughed at the running girl's reaction, "Now that's funny." Luis mocked her.

"I've never pranked anyone before. And now I have a taste for it," Gus said eagerly.

"We should follow her to Amity's house to show off our conjuring." Willow suggested wanting to give Amity and her crew a taste of their own medicine, "That will show her who's got no talent."

TLN looks up at the moon, which is nearly at the treetops and still going down, "Actually, while I love that, we should probably head back before Eda does." Lucia suggested, and her siblings nod, "When she finds the house gone, she's bound to get mad, hunt us down, and turn us into mice so she can eat us."

"You really think she'll eat us?" Luz asked her.

"Probably," She answered. "I just get the sense people here will eat anything, whether it's palatable or otherwise."

"Amity's updating her Penstagram." Gus shows them his scroll.

"'Shout out to my fellow witches. #HumansCanBiteIt'." Luz reads the tweet.

The siblings gasped and Luis exclaimed, "Oh, no, she didn't!"

"Oh, yes, she did!" Lucia said in an equally offended tone. "C'mon, guys. Let's show up some posers!" Lucia responded, and Luz narrowed her eyes.

"Yeah, let's do it!"

The Owl House continued their march to Amity's house as they cheered as several shadowy figures flew through the trees after them.

Eda and King approached the stand and peeked through its curtain, "Hello? Uh, I seek the one they call Grimm Hammer." She called out.

An ominous came great from the shadows, "I'm the one they call Grimm Hammer." It said in a raspy voice with white eyes.

The curtains rose, and to her surprise, it was much more lively than she expected, with a sign above saying 'Mud & Sunday'. A pig demon jumped onto the counter in front of them and looked to be slightly taller than King. He had yellowish-beige skin, pupilless blue eyes with white sclera, his cheeks were so pudgy cheeks that they obscured his neck, two small tusks in his mouth and he had a small patch of hair on the back of his head. He has small hands with two pointed fingers and thumbs, along with unguligrade legs and feet, and a long tail with a triangular barb at the tip, which appeared redder closer to the end in a gradient. He wore large round glasses with no arms and thick black rims. He wore a white dress shirt with small gold cufflinks on the top hems of either sleeve and a small blue bow. Over his shirt was an orchid vest with two pockets on either side and a single gold button.

He spoke to his customers, "Welcome, welcome, welcome." He greeted joyously, "I've got weaponry from the Hinterlands, curses from the Winterlands, and jelly beans!" He tosses the jelly beans like confetti.

"Jelly beans!" King reaches for them and catches one as Eda just stares at the pig demon.

"They're lethally delicious." He offered as King opened his mouth to eat it.

Eda knocks it out of his hand to his dismay, "You are Grimm Hammer?" The Owl Lady asked, certainly not expecting this.

"Tibblet-Tibblie Grimm Hammer the Third," He introduced himself with a bow. "Please, call me Tibbles."

King laughs at his nickname, "He wants to be called that."

"Okay, Tibbles, I need some of this elixir," Eda held out her empty bottle to him.

Tibbles took it and rubbed his chin looking at it, "Oh, this is one wicked brew." His tail held up another elixir, "Lucky for you, I just stocked up."

"Hozam!" She pumped her fists for her good luck. "I'll give you 10 snails," She held out her change purse.

"Add two more zeros and it's a deal," The pig responded with a smile.

"A thousand snails?!" She retorted in disbelief. "What kind of game are you playing?" She demanded since this was clearly highway robbery.

"Capitalism." Tibbles answered as he turned his back to her. "Where everyone wins, except you." He slid off the counter, and back into his tent.

"Hey!" She called out but paused when saw a deck of Hexes Hold 'Em cards. The sight of them gave her an idea. "Say, you play Hexes Hold 'Em?"

"Really? Now?" King couldn't believe she was doing this now.

"Oh!" He paused when Eda mentioned the game, "Is that what that game is called?" He returned and sat on the counter with the deck in hand, "I was just using these as coasters."

"How about we make it interesting?" Eda offered knowing that she couldn't lose, "I win, you give me the elixir. You win, you can take something of mine."

"Oh, what fun! You're on." He accepted, and she smirked thinking the elixir was as good as hers.

Down in Bonesborough, the Owl House was still marching, as people on the streets screamed and ran out of its way for cover. They arrived at a mansion covered in red moss on a hill, made from purple and gray stone, with a brown shingle roof, complete with stone chimneys and a large spire. The building had round stained-glass windows found at the highest level of the building, with diamond shapes painted on them, and the gate in front reading 'Blight Manor'.

"Look, Amity's house," Willow said as they finally reached their detonation.

"Huh. Rich kid," Lucia commented.

Willow grinned, "Time to show Amity what a real conjuring looks like." The Owl House stepped forward, but was stopped by a giant rope over the roof, making them stumble and release their hands, "What happened?"

"Is that a...giant crossbow?" Luz pointed in front of them at the weapon.

By order of the demon hunter leader, a second arrow was fired, and landed on the other side, pinning the house down. The lead demon hunter jumped and landed in front of the quintet, "Knock, knock." He said ominously, making them gasp in fear. Luis tried to punch him off the porch, but he caught it with one hand. "Nice try, kid. I appreciate the effort, but you're a bit out of your league," He pushed him back and engulfed the kids in green electricity that shocked them. They screamed in agony before they dropped unconscious.

The demon hunters had the Owl House tied down on a large cart as they had it pushed through the woods, and one stood atop a cliff and blew into a horn.

Inside, the kids were tied up trying to get themselves as Hooty was making strange noises. "Hooty!" Luz called him as she kicked the door, "Hooty! You have to wake up!"

"If you want this to end as you say, three must hold hands. It's the only way." The owl tube recited in a riddle.

"Oye, no me hable así! (Hey, don't talk to me like that!)" She exclaimed as she kicked the door. She then turned to Willow, "Willow, will you help me out with Hooty?"

"I'm sorry, Luz." She apologized feeling depressed, "You shouldn't ask me to help with anything," She said, closing her eyes.

"Willow." Luis couldn't stand the sad look on her face. Suddenly, they came to a rough stop, and landed on the floor, "Did the house stop moving?"

"Ugh, my insides didn't." Gus groaned out.

The door opened and the lead demon hunter laughed down as he loomed over them. He brought the kids outside and tossed them out the house and onto the ground, "Take the house and rip out the house demon." He demanded, closing the door as he jumped down from the platform. "We can sell it to restaurants as exotic meat."

"No! Hooty would taste terrible!" Luz warned them.

"Hey," Hooty called out in protest. "I'm a refined taste. Hoot, hoot!"

"Shut up, you idiot!" Lucia shouted at him.

"What do we do with the worms?" Another demon hunter asked, and the leader looked at them.

"Ooh!" Luis spoke up and got everyone's attention, "I've got an idea. And just, ya know, spitballin'. Let us go?"

"…No," The leader denied his request, "Throw them over the cliff."

"Well, I tried." Luis deadpanned.

The green demon hunter chuckles as he escorts them to the cliff, "Alrighty, kids. Here's the end of your short little lives." When they reached the edge, they looked down at the rapid sea.

"Wait!" Gus said as he turned to him, "Wait, wait, wait. Is this really what you wanna be doing with your life? Tossing kids from cliffs?" He asked, hoping he would reconsider Luis's opinion of freeing them.

"Actually, yes," He held his face and smiled. "It's been my dream since I was a boy." He paused as they stared at him over how messed up that was. "I was a strange child."

"That is all kinds wrong," Lucia deadpanned at the demon hunter. "I'm seeing why this creep would fit in so well with these creeps." She tells her group.

"What are you, my mom?" He shoves them off the edge and laughs, "Whee!" He clapped his hands.

He walked away not noticing the quintet dangling from a branch sticking out of the cliffside. "If we're not killed now, we will be when Eda finds out about the house," Luz said worriedly.

"Guys, I'm so sorry." Willow apologized to them, "You wanted to turn back but I just had to show off to Amity. The truth is she and I used to be friends." She revealed.

"Whaaat?" TLN said in unison equally shocked as the branch started to break.

"We played together as kids, but when she got her magical powers and I didn't, she stopped hanging out with me." She shared with them her story.

"Guys, is now the best time?" Gus questioned, and Lucia shushed him.

Willow lets out a sigh, "I just wanted to prove to her that I was a powerful witch, too."

"Nonsense!" Lucia shouted out to get the girl's attention, "In case you haven't noticed, you helped bring a house to life."

"Yeah, and brought down an army of slime golems and the Principal of Hexisde with nothing but a plant seed." Luz reminded her about that certain event, "And how my brother stood up for you at the market wasn't just for show." The young Noceda girl told her.

"Exactly. I don't do that kind of stuff to just anyone. They had it coming," He confessed to the plant girl. "Amity has proven once again she's a wannabe poser with no clue what she's talking about. Like I said, she and her friends wouldn't know a real witch if one stood right in front of them." Willow smiles at the confidence he had in his words, "Next to Eda, you're the most powerful witch we know. No offense, Gus."

"No, not at all," He grinned at Luis, not taking it personally. "I know what I'm about." The branch started to snap again and they looked at it. "This tree can't hold us much longer."

Willow managed to free her hand. "There," She reached out to a smaller branch right next to them. "Now if I can just reach that root… Gotcha!" She grabbed it and it glowed green as it grew.

At the Night Market, Tibbles' counter was smoldering from a flaming pile of Hexes Hold 'Em cards. "Oof! That was painful to watch," King commented from what he saw.

"You card shark. You hustled me," Eda accused Tibbles angrily.

"Looks like you forgot about my...wild card!" Tibbles chuckles, and it flipped onto the table.

It came to life with a roar and turned around and then ripped off the shirt, showing off its character's muscles, "Yeah."

"In any case, I'd like my prize now," He stood up with a smug look making her scowl. "And I choose...the little bone boy." He then took King in his baby holster, and it shocked both of them. "I've always wanted a tiny servant to model my line of baby clothes."

"No. I don't look good in clothes. I'm all-natural." King protested his plans for him as he tried to get away. Then he turned to his caregiver, "Eda, do something!"

She tried to trace a spell circle, only for her arm to grow more feathers. "Ah! I can't perform magic." Tibbles snapped his fingers, chains appearing from the ground. They wrap around Eda and she falls onto her side. "You think this can stop me?" She scowled at Tibbles, "I can still bite your ankles."

"You don't think I know who you are? Eda the Owl Lady." Tibbles responded, making her give a sharp gasp. "That's right. I've seen your wanted posters around here," He held up one of her posters, making King look at it in worry. "I wonder how much the Emperor's Coven would pay me to hand you over." He said as Eda gritted her teeth and glared at him.

"Yeah, they tried to fight back, and they nearly got me," The demon hunter reported to his leader. "But, you know, I handled it." He bragged as he flexed his arm.

"They were children, Tom," The leader deadpanned, blowing Tom's confidence.

A large shadow loomed over them and they looked up to see the four standing on a giant leaf from the vines Willow created. She waved a hand to cut them free with thorns. "We may be children, but we're also witches," Willow stated bravely with glowing green hands. "Powerful ones."

Luis jumps down and glares at the leader. "What do you say, big guy? Round 2?" He challenged as he punched his palm.

"Sure. Why not?" The leader accepted.

Luis knew this was a good time to show off his new trick, and they narrowed their eyes at each other, nodded, and charged. The leader's hand glows with lightning again, swings his arm at the boy, but Luis ducks and punches his stomach. With him stunned, Luis pulled a small sheet of paper out of his sleeve, and pressed it on the lead hunter's chest, and a stream of flames sent him flying to his fellow hunters. They get out of the way, and he lands on his back.

"Now, who's out of their league?" He smirked mockingly.

The leaf lowered the rest onto the ground and they were surprised by what they saw, even his sisters. "Manito, how'd you do that?" Lucia asked.

"Huh? Oh, well remember that favor I asked Eda when we left the covention?" His sisters nodded in recollection as he turned to face them, "Well, she showed me a new spell, which helped me discover this." He pulled another sheet of paper and it was a picture of a new symbol. The symbol features a larger circle at the bottom of a smaller circle with a dot in the center. On top is a smaller circle with a curved triangle on top. Another curved triangle is also included on top of the bigger circle, which goes over the smaller circle. "The first one we discovered was of light magic. This one is fire magic," He explained to them.

"Thinking ahead, hermano? Nice," Luz complimented on how that may come in handy in the future.

"Since then, I just figured we could use something offensive for our enemies," He told them as Tom was right behind him about to attack. "Speaking of, Willow, you wanna handle the rest?" He points his thumb at Tom, who pauses.

"Oh, sure." She waved her hands, and Luis moved his head out of the way of the vine that knocked Tom away.

The rest of the vines spread to the rest of the demon hunters as the leader got back up. Reacting fast, he draws his sword, slicing off the tip of one of the vines. A hunter with three eyes tries to hit a vine with an axe, but misses. The vine grabs his ankle and flings him into a pile of rubble. With them distracted, the kids ran for the house and they climbed up the platform. Being more agile, the older two flipped over the edge and helped the rest of them up. First it was their sister, then it was Willow and Gus. Once everyone was up, they ran into the house, and Luz shut the door.

"Everyone, quick!" She held out her hand and they joined hands to re-control the house.

The hunter leader traced a spell circle and sliced off the vine. He heard something behind him and saw the Owl House standing on two feet again. "Uh..." He lifted up his eye patch awkwardly, and the foot stepped on him.

"Oh, crud," Lucia looked out the window with her sister to see the moon setting. "I don't mean to step on this victory, pun intended, but we gotta get home before Eda does."

The Owl House walks away, leaving the ruins of the battle behind with the Demon Hunters spread around everywhere, knocked out and/or restrained. The leader lifts his head up and holds it as he groans.

"'They're just children, Tom.'" He mocked the leader who looked rather annoyed by it.

Back at the Night Market, Eda is still chained up on the ground, and King sat on the counter, sulking in a sailor's outfit with his ankle shackled.

"King, I'm sorry." Eda apologized for how she put both of them in this mess.

"King? Who's King?" He ignored her apology and looked away with crossed arms, "I go by Little Bone Boy now."

"I know I have a problem. I get obsessed with Hexes Hold 'Em," She confessed and looked guiltily. She then looked back at him, "But I'm done with that stupid game. Look," She turned to a card to chomp on it and eat it.

King looked down at her, "You promise?"

"I promise," She muffled with a card still in her mouth.

He chuckles and accepts her apology, "Okay, okay." He freed his ankle from the shackle and stood up. "I'll grab you the elixir and then we can bust out of here," He turned around to go get it.

"Bone boy!" Tibbles called out and he yelped at the pig demon. "You will do no such thing. The Emperor's Coven is already on its way to send this witch here to the Conformatorium." He then held up a little jester's outfit, "And I just rustled up some more clothes for you to try on," chuckling evilly.

King threw his hat on the counter, "Just because I have a model's body doesn't mean you can use me like this." He declared as the sound of heavy footsteps approached.

Tibbles crawled onto the table, "I can and I am, Bone Boy. I've got the cards stacked against you." He said still not noticing the heavy rumbling, but in Eda's position, she could with her eyes widened. "And nothing can stop me. Nothing!" Just then, the house stepped onto his stand, making him drop the elixir.

Luz looked out the window, "Sorry, mister!" She apologized as the others looked out with her and the Owl House continued down the street.

Eda sits up and laughs at Tibbles' misfortune after what he said as he glared at her. King takes the chance to back away from Tibbles. Then Eda realizes something, "Wait, wha—Was that my house?"

"Eda, quick!" King tosses her the elixir, and she catches it in her mouth and downs it then spits the bottle out. She traces a spell circle that makes the chains explode, and the feathers poof off her arms.

Tibbles looked at his business as it was destroyed, "No, no, no! My scam stand."

"Sorry, Tibbles, old boy. Looks like you forgot about the wild card," She mocked as she tossed some cards in his face.

"Curse you, witch! Curse you, Bone Boy," He shouted angrily at them as they left. "I'll have my revenge! Tibblet-Tibblie Grimm Hammer the Third will have his revenge!" He declared before his stand fell apart completely, burying him in the debris.

They made it back to the usual location of the Owl House as it sat down in the crater it left. In the living room, Luz opens one eye. "Did we do it?"

"Well, we're alive, the house is at ground level again, and the room's a mess," Luis says as he looks around. "I'd say we did pretty good."

The door opened to reveal Hooty, who was also back to normal, relatively speaking. "Is the room spinning or is it just me?" He laughed weakly, still feeling the backlash from the trance. "Ah, just a little house humor. Whew!"

"Sorry about all that, Hooty," Luz apologized as she rubbed her face.

"We had no idea that would happen." The oldest admitted as she rubbed her neck, "It was pretty cool though, right?" Lucia asked.

"The coolest! And bonus, I was included." He said happily. Just then the door slammed to reveal King still in his sailor suit and a miffed Eda.

"Oh, boy," Lucia said in shock.

"You three are so busted." Eda declared as she marched to them.

"Oh, crud." Luis grew nervous.

"You held a moonlight conjuring." She said getting closer.

"We did." Luz closed her eyes in preparation.

Eda stopped in front of them and scowled, "And you animated my house. My house!"

"Okay, yes~." Luis tried to save their case. "But would it help if I said that we were trying to bring a toy to life, and we animated the house by accident?" Eda narrowed her eyes and snarled at the boy. "Okay, should I probably take you glaring and growling at me with an intent to kill like that as a 'no'?" He said nonchalantly.

"Of course, it's a 'no'!" Eda shouted in fury.

"No," Willow stood in front of them. "Don't punish them. We're the ones who pushed them to do the conjuring."

Gus joined her, "If you're gonna eat me, just do it now. Do it now!" Eda looks disgusted at the idea.

"Hey, you didn't have to do that," Luz tells her.

"Yes, Luz. I did," She stated, and they smiled at her.

"Well, you're all guilty, so you'll all be punished by cleaning my house top to bottom," She summoned cleaning supplies over their heads. Once they fell, the quintet caught them. Then she looked back with narrowed eyes, "And another thing..." The five gulped in expectation. "That was totally amazing! And I'm so joining you for next year's conjuring." Eda said, making them smile.

"Awesome. But one more thing," Lucia looks at the two of them. "How'd you two get back here and in the house so fast without us noticing?"

"Uh…" Eda held her finger to answer her, but she paused as she couldn't figure out an answer. She scoffed and looked at King, "How did we, King?"

"You got me." He answered, not having any more of a clue than her.

"Let's just chalk this up to plot convenience," Luis advised, and Lucia shrugged as the rest felt confused.

"Okay, in the end, it doesn't matter. Just get to work," They ran to start cleaning and Eda flopped onto the couch.

"I can't believe they animated a whole house," King said, feeling shocked and impressed.

Eda opened her eyes in thought, "Yeah. You're right." She looked over at them, wondering just how much potential the quintet possessed, especially the humans. "That takes some powerful magic."

"Hey, Willow," Luis spoke to her and got her attention as he cleaned the fireplace with a sponge. "Thanks for sticking up for us."

"It was no problem, Luis," She smiled at the boy. "Plus, I owed you for what you did for me at the market. And what you three said, I really needed to hear that."

"Hey, it's what we're here for," Lucia told her while she had a push broom. "Anything for a friend, especially if it's our brother's girl." She nudged him, and they both blushed.

"Yeah, but you know, I still kinda wish we got to show up Amity," Luz said while mopping the floor.

"Yeah," Willow sprayed on the cabinet. "Too bad no one will know of our daring adventures."

At Blight Manor in Amity's room, a bunny doll was in the middle of Boscha, Cat, Skara, and a new girl. She was a tall girl wearing the colors of the Plant track, had black open-top slip-on shoes, had pointed ears, green eyes, short light green hair, and a warm fair complexion. Her name was Amelia. All the girls looked disappointed as they hadn't managed to animate the toy.

"Ugh!" Boscha scoffed at it, "So what if we couldn't move a doll? Now we have time for what really matters." She summons her scroll, "Penstagram!" They pulled out their own scrolls to look through their demonic social media.

Amity was looking out the window, with her wrist wrapped in bandages, brooding until she heard Boscha gasp. The mint-headed girl went over and looked over Boscha's shoulder to see her Penstagram feed. It showed several people's posts showing Willow, Gus, Triple LN, and the animated Owl House. And all of them seemed like they were having the time of their lives.

Amity and Boscha share their astonished expressions, "What?!" They exclaimed in unison.

Season 1 Outro

Luz, Luis, and Lucia are seen walking down a part of Bonesborough called Thistle Street. Lucia had her hands behind her head, as Luis's were in his pockets with his skateboard wrapped in his arm as they all looked around in amazement.

The trio then walked through the marketplace with various stalls in it, especially blinking meat with multiple eyes. The meat horrified Luz and disgusted the other two.

Luz was in the Slayground, kicking a Grudgby ball. In the background, Lucia was break dancing and Luis was showing kids how to do a handstand on his board.

They are now walking through the hallway of Hexside greeting Willow and Gus while Amity can be seen leaning on a pillar. Willow blushed at Luis as Luz raised her eyebrows at him and Lucia was nudging her brother knowingly.

Lucia is walking through the Bonesborough Library before the book Lucia was holding flew off. Her younger brother and sister were reading manga at a desk.

The trio walked through a dark part of the Boiling Isles forest with bones on the ground. Luz looked around with her hood on and a frightened expression as her siblings seemed prepared to fight anything that may come out.

Luis was lightly pushing his foot against the ground as he skateboarded along a river path of the Boiling Isles while his sisters were sitting by the river as they all looked at the Titan's skull. After a kickflip, he turned his attention towards the skull as well.

Triple LN are running through the forest, and arriving at the Owl House where King was chatting with Eda excitedly as Hooty watched them from the back with a happy expression. King and Eda noticed the trio and waved at them before the trio smiled back and ran toward them before the camera pans up, showing the clear purple sky.

Now that was an adventure the kids will never forget. Like Luis told Amity and her group, they're nothing but fools who wouldn't know what a real witch is if it bit their legs. And don't get me wrong, I felt a little bad for having to put Amity through the pain tolerance, but until later in the series, she's had it coming.

And the kung fu instructor Shaun is portrayed after Shang-Chi from Legend of the Ten Rings, also sharing Simu Liu as his voice actor.

I would like to bring your attention to a dilemma I'm having for a future chapter. I'm planning on having Triple LN sing at the end of Grom, but I'm not sure what song to go with.

And lastly, I dare anyone to guess where I got that pain compliance method from.
